Maybe it was that simple....maybe they were just thieves that were looting an old temple just for the treasures that laid within. But clearly there was someone that had to be a buyer. Not to mention that the numbers involved certainly couldn't have been obtained without the promise of a large score at the end.
As Kazuto seemed to wait for an answer, retrieving the scroll in the process, Arashi would see the blood that slid down the invisible field surrounding her, allowing it to drop, absorbed into a few grains of sand as she then blinked as it appeared that Kazuto was leaving her to finish the job. At the hope that there may be a chance that she would speak seeming to be lost, the Sunagakure nin would sigh before rising back up to her full form, looking over her shoulder to see if Kazuto had indeed left, leaving her with the two bandits as she closed her eyes.
"For what its worth...ya had guts...."
Allowing her golden gaze to show upon her eyes, the piercing pupils would look down upon the two as she began to allow her curse marks to appear across her flesh. It was swift in motion, as she arm swung out with her elbow being the central point. It would appear as if she were about to strike them, but as a flash of a partial edge sprung out at the last second, it would clever through the point of their necks, disappearing just as quickly as the girl turned and began to walk away.
It wasn't the prettiest way the die, but it was faster than allowing them to sink down below into the depths.
In emerging out from the inner part of the temple, it would appear that Kazuto had already begun calming down their charges, the young woman looking around calmly as she could see that they were far from at ease with the events of the day. With the claim that all was under control, Arashi would nod in agreement as she began to speak.
"Your two other researchers are safe as well...Though they were somewhat in a panic when we found them with the bandits..."
Her hand resting upon her hip, the question of what those bandits wanted with the scroll came to the head researcher, prompting even Arashi to be at attention. After all, she was just a curious to it's nature as Kazuto was.

Ultimate Defense
A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike.
Will of Sand
Will of Sand- Adding the element of her own chakra into the mixture of sand, Arashi is capable of faster and stronger sand manipulation and attacks. The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku.
Enhanced Smell
Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose)
Hunter's Instinct
With her training from her mother, along with the lessons she learned from her time with the Saeko's Clan, Arashi adapted her tracking ability to a level similar to that of a sensory nin. As such, allowing her much more precision in her ability to find and keep on the heels of individual targets or groups through use of her enhanced sense of smell and ability to identify individuals and objects at long range.
Ichibi Curse Seal
The only ability Arashi has competent control over, this is the ability to utilize the curse seal marks over Shukaku’s body for her own bidding. Arashi can will the seals to cover her own body and control them to form various seals to preform fuuinjutsu from her own skin. As such, she can summon weapons she has sealed within them and rearrange the seals to be able to perform various fuuinjutsu that she has knowledge of without scrolls by using her own skin. She may also seal items within the curse marks and rearrange them to perform an unrelated technique before reforming them to summon the item at a later date.

DESCRIPTION:
This Seal requires 3 hand signs to perform and must be applied to the head of the target/person in question. Once in place the seal links itself directly to the persons mind and sustains itself by altering the flow of chakra to go through it. The seal activates if any foreign chakra or influence affects the chakra around the brain causing the person in question to suffer a shot lived if not inconsiderable jolt of pain by shocking nearby nerves. This seal serves as an effective means to inform the individual if he is under a genjutsu and can dispel genjutsu techniques by means of the moderate pain it causes. This seal must be placed on a person prior to a genjutsu attack to be effective and thus is of limited use once battle commences. It does not cost any chakra to maintain due to the seal being largely dormant most of the time.

DESCRIPTION:
An advanced version of Hikin Fuinjutsu, in which objects that are sealed within their respective holders are branded with a special formula. This particular seal allows its wielder to call upon whatever is placed in the seal with a simple touch of the marker, instantly bringing the weapon into one's hand at the ready. The technique works to cut the time it would normally take to summon and wield a weapon by having the seal in a place of easy access, such as upon straps on one's wrist or the wrists themselves, being able to summon and use a weapon in a seamless moment. Summoning is not as straight forward as the child technique, however, as wired contraptions can be called upon, instantly winding and attaching the wire to one's hand the moment it is summoned.
