As Sanosuke wandered the land of storm alone he begin to reflect on how different things were now compared to how it was so many years ago. For one he wasn't allowed to really be out here unless he was on a mission, but now things were different that he'd finally made that leap, and if he had things his way, another one would be on the way. Sanosuke was certain he might find himself as a Genin after what happened with Kazuki.

Definitely not the most memorable part of his career, but not everyone was perfect. Since then, he made sure to train even harder than before. Every now and again when he had time like he did today, he'd go out into the land to the place where he met up with Kayaku about a year ago in the hopes that he'd return. After their training session with one another, he was supposed to show up the following day, but when he got there, only a letter was waiting for him.

Being a Shinobi who left the village must have come with a lot of problems of their own. He understood that he couldn't stay in a small shack like this full time. The Hyuuga must have had other things to worry about than some guy like him. Still, Sanosuke hoped he'd come back again so that he could learn more from his teacher. Plus, he'd get to ask him about where he'd been the past year and how he was doing.

He made a lot of progress since the day he taught him the thirty two palms technique, and was even beginning to work on his own techniques in the passing time since Kayaku hadn't been around. Nevertheless, when he got within range of the small shack his teacher was staying in, he'd notice what looked to be a freshly drank bottle of Soju sitting outside. "Hmm, maybe I just missed that the last time I was here." Sanosuke thought as he walked up to it.

"Umm, anyone around I should know about?"

[Hyuga Kayaku]

return of the ninja The Hyuga arrived at the abandoned shack late the night before; having traveled from the ricefield country. It had been some years since Kayaku had trained that half breed Hyuga and since leaving Shakar he wanted to train… That's when it hit him, he could visit Sanosuke and spar with him to see how far he'd come. It would be like killing two badger-moles with one foot; Kayaku could train and Sanosuke could prove himself worthy yet again. Kayaku had arrived a day earlier before his Byakugan would finally detect a familiar chakra signature. Sanosuke's chakra was a mix of the hellish Takeda clan and the pristine pure chakra of the Hyuga; there was no mistaking such an unique source of energy. Oh he showed? Well he's off to a good start, Kayaku thought to himself hiding within the surrounding foliage, his byakugan locked in on Sanosuke. The Hyuga would create a Shadow clone and name it Bubbles; Kayaku's appearance had changed drastically since the last time the two had trained. He had bulked up in the muscle department and had even grown a mustache. Kayaku's body was now littered with healed burns that marked every inch of his being. Sanosuke would probably love to hear the story of how he had attained the wounds but first Bubbles would test the half breed to see if he had upheld the honor of being his student. This wasn't even the oddest part of the men's appearance; Kayaku's attire had changed as well. He now sported a singular ponytail rather than the two he'd usually done. His face was covered with a fairly strange looking mask that had an exaggerated smile and lacked eye holes. Being an exact replica of the original, Bubbles the Shadow Clone also donned Kayaku's not-so stealthy attire. Kayaku had been less brutal than he would have been if the boy were any other Hyuga; giving him a handicap since he wasn't raised among the clan. However, that was then and this was now, he was considered the Hyuga's pupil and Kayaku hoped Sanosuke had done well to honor such a title. Leaving the shelter of the damp overgrowth that hid the original, Bubbles used its physical speed to close the distance between the two and engage the younger shinobi. Kayaku's hope was that his new appearance would give the impression that Sanosuke was being attacked by an enemy shinobi. Focusing chakra into his fist the clone would utilize one of the Gentle Step jutsu Kayaku had personally created; although these jutsu were incomplete it could still cause minor damage and break bones should the ribs be targeted. Using his physical speed to get within "Jūho: Ikkotsu" Bubbles said, his voice deeper than usual coming from behind the mask. First Bone released a Fist shaped projectile of chakra towards the unsuspecting Sanosuke to deliver Bubble's and subsequently, Bubble's immense strength further than the Clone's physical reach.

Speed SA - Even without speed enhancing jutsu, Kayaku is naturally fast and now thanks to the tremendous raw strength in his legs, Kayaku's natural speed is more than enough to keep shinobi busy during battle. Allowing him to move fast enough to instantly close a gaps between him and his opponent. In battle, he can strike with incredible speed in rapid succession, making it highly difficult for his opponents to find an opening and counterattack. This allows him to react to the visual information given to him by his Byakugan, such as seeing incoming projectiles, or enemy jutsu or even dodging close range attacks that would be impossible to do so otherwise.


NAME: Jūho: Ikkotsu [Gentle Step: First Bone]

DESCRIPTION:
One of the first jutsu Kayaku created using the Gentle Fist or more specifically the Gentle Step: Guardian lion jutsu as a basis. First bone is one of the more external technques than is typical of Gentle Fist discipline, Juho: Ikkotsu is a jutsu that allows the user to create small, compressed formations of chakra that can be fired off the fists the user. This is similar to some Gentle Fist techniques, in the sense that it involves the firing of compressed or solidified chakra at an enemy in a distinct fashion. However, with this jutsu the user does not create a single great stream of chakra as done with techniques such as the Vacuum Palm technique. Instead it release, fist sized "bullets" of chakra to attack their target from afar. Despite not having a large range the force of the chakra is strong enough to knock the wind from it's target or break a ribs, depending on where the jutsu lands. Because of the nature of this jutsu, the users mainly use jabs instead of hooks or palm thrusts. The range of this jutsu is 5 meters from the user's fist.

For awhile there wasn't a response. His first thought was to check some of the materials around to see how long it might have been since they were used. Just as he was about to pick up one of the bottles a clone creation could be heard not too far from himself. "Kayaku?" Sanosuke questioned before a unknown figure came after him with the kind of speed only an elite Shinobi could outmaneuver.

"Shit!"

The figure looked nothing like Kayaku, and judging by the mask it was wearing Sanosuke assumed that it was probably a secret operative from another village looking for him. If he didn't come back out of here alive Tatsuo would revive him just to kill him himself, but for the time being he was stuck. The attack that was used against him looked like a knock off version of his own clans techniques.

Nevertheless, the speed of the user was too much, and the only alert he had prior was that was the sound of a clone being created. After crossing his forearms and taking the hit, he'd be sent back flying a couple of meters. In the midst of this Sanosuke decided to activate his Byakugan. There was no telling what the opposition was going to do, but what Sanosuke decided was that he was going to try to see who the person was behind the mask.

However, doing that would not come easy. Immediately after getting up from the ground he'd begin to form seven handseals. The latter would lead to his Devil Trigger transformation. For now Sanosuke decided that he wasn't going to do anything to the person in question. Based on their speed they had to be levels above himself, so as of now he was at there mercy.

"I don't know who you are, but I'm not the guy you're looking for. In fact, it would behoove you not pursue any further attacks."

  DESCRIPTION: Currently the strongest known transformation amongst the Takeda, and is also the true form of the Devil Bringer. In the history of the clan only a few throughout each generation have been able to awaken this power. After a Takedas' first successful transformation all that is needed to transform now are 7 handseals and a tight clenching of the right fist. In this form the users physical prowess surpasses that of the original transformation. Its power also is no longer attached to just the arm, but Instead spread throughout the users body providing an equal amount of power on all cylinders. The transformation alone requires a certain level of chakra control as it can be pretty demanding given its substantial increase in power throughout the body. "Requiring" the user to have chakra control as a special ability. The transformation takes the form of a "demonic"— Not to be taken literally—silhouette, emitting a 'colored' aura according to the nature of the users personality out of the users right arm. The transformation acts as a projection of the users true self. Each form looking different than the next. Its appearance usually centered around that of a humanoid muscular system with a demonic face. The eyes of the user also glows like it does during the Devil Soul transformation. This ability also allows the silhouettes weapon to take the form of whatever weapon the user has. Each attack being accompanied by the silhouette using a right-handed version of the attack, and in the process empowering the weapon to harness its strength at will. Members of the Takeda clan who achieve this stage of transformation tend to either already be, or eventually become master of weapons. SN: Each user is required to post what their silhouette looks like in this form. The user of this technique should remain cautious of their negative emotions as any major slip up could result in the transformation regressing to Akuma Tamashī | 悪魔魂 | Devil's Soul
  

[Hyuga Kayaku]

Exiled All Seeing Eye "Behoove me?! Is that anyway to speak to your teacher? Or has my only student gotten so powerful he forgot his manners" the Hyuga had completely forgot his own plan once Sanosuke had issued his warning. Taking off his mask and revealing his scarred face, the Hyuga smirked at the young man. Once he had activated his Byakugan there would be no need to continue the charade. In Sano's experience if Kayaku asked a rhetorical question it usually meant that the Hyuga was about to lecture him. "It's good to see you are confident, no student of mine would back down when provoked in such a manner. However, I think you should be reminded of how gracious of a teacher I am" the Hyuga said shamelessly. Kayaku wasn't exactly arrogant when it came to his own abilities however the same couldn't be said when his students were concerned. That said, when it came to his students the Hyuga sat on the extreme opposite of humility. As such the Hyuga believed that Sanosuke and anyone else Kayaku considered a pupil was defaultly stronger than most enemies due to him being trained by the Hyuga himself. This "vicarious arrogance" Kayaku held for his student caused the Hyuga to assume that Sanosuke could handle certain situations that would commonly be considered above the boy's rank. Such confidence in Sanosuke's ability came from Kayaku's belief that he didn't cultivate weaklings. Suddenly, without so much as a warning Kayaku would be on the assault yet again; he wanted to test Sanosuke's current prowess before he'd even try to catch up or continue the boy's training. Sanosuke needed to display certain traits in order to continue being his student as his own ascendancy reflected Kayaku's prowess. He'd begin with the basic Gentle First Style, aiming four palm strikes towards his student; with the fourth and final palm aimed towards his stomach to cause a bit of gastrointestinal discomfort.  To say the S-rank missing-nin expected much from Sanosuke would be an understatement. Respect, confidence, physical prowess and overall ability, the list was long and Kayaku wouldn't exactly explain it due to him assuming that Sanosuke already knew. Regardless if the young man was aware of what's expected of him or not; it would more than likely be extremely difficult or downright suicidal for him to achieve. What made this aspect of Kayaku's tutelage unique was that once Sano had achieved a certain milestone the next would be more drastic than the latter. After all, if he couldn't display even these basic traits or overcome the basic milestones then there was no way in hell Sanosuke could learn the more advanced jutsu. If he couldn't learn the advanced techniques then why was he claiming to be Kayaku's student?

"Master??"

Sanosuke questioned in shock as the man finally begin to take off his mask. "No way.." Sanosuke couldn't believe that amount of scars that were on the face of his teacher now. He couldn't imagine what kind of scenario could have possibly put him in a position where he could end up so badly damaged. Fortunately he came out alive, but that didn't stop Sanosuke from wondering what the people who caused this look like.

Probably bare bones if he had anything to say about it. The masked man activating his Byakugan was definitely the icing on the cake despite his eyes sharing its color anyways. At least this way he wouldn't have to worry about the person in question being a fake, after all, Amegakure was definitely keeping a watchful eye out on him. Sanosuke laughed as Kayaku commended him on his confidence while putting him in his place at the same time.

"Of course master, it hasn't been that long."

Sanosuke respond before taking a bow of respect for his gentle fit teacher and mentor. The Takeda expected more words to follow, but they did not which brought into question what was about to happen. "So--" Just as he was about to start a conversation to catch up with him Kayaku went back on the offensive. Just as before, his speed was beyond anything he'd seen, and because of the suddenness of his attack he wouldn't be able to avoid it all.

However, he was no longer the Genin from all those years ago, so attacking his with basic maneuvers wouldn't be as easy and Sanosuke was eager to display his Chuunin prowess. After taking hits from the first three strikes, the fourth attack with be countered with a quick strike with his left hand directed toward his wrist. The hit would come with just enough force to knock the last strike off course.

Afterward Sanosuke would take a few steps backward while activating his own Byakugan while getting in the Gentle Fist stance he was taught. He had spent years practicing all the maneuvers shown to him by Kayaku while also learning about the human body as a whole. If given the chance to separate himself from Kayaku, Sanosuke would then rush back toward his teacher attempting to strike the man with four palms of his own. One to each shoulder, and two to the chest.

[Hyuga Kayaku]

In every Shinobi the Kami implanted a principle which we call Love of Freedom. "You're faster and stronger. I'd expect nothing less from a Yokai or Akuna… Oni? Whatever you are" Kayaku said as Sanosuke interrupted his teacher's assault before putting some distance between the two of them. Afterwards Sanosuke activated his Byakugan, conversely Kayaku's own doujutsu was active near constantly. He was already peering into the young man's body. Kayaku enjoyed the sight of the energy coursing through Sanosuke's being. The marvelous chakra the half breed created was a sight to behold. To bear eyes upon the fusion of the Takeda and Hyuga clan's chakra were akin to watching the unadulterated visage of nature itself. It was an extremely unique chakra signature, with a sense of tamed ferocity permeating its appearance. "Today's session will cover the Eight Trigrams: sixty-four Palms. You're actually pretty special Sanosuke, hell when I was a young shinobi many eons ago. These techniques were only taught to the main branch". Although he wouldn't admit it, Kayaku was beginning to actually care for the abomination; feeling like an uncle or elder brother to Sanosuke. The reason for this was simply because Sanosuke didn't condemn him when being told of his criminal record. Yeah it could've been a facade to solely learn the Hyuga secrets, however Kayaku had never felt like the boy wanted anything more than to know who he himself was. There were only a few people in the world that didn't vilify the elder Hyuga. It was true he had fallen into depravity before and it was also true that might do so again. However, that would only happen if his hand were forced. "Only by mastering the 64 palm's would you be officially considered a practitioner of the style." Kayaku had genuinely taken up a life of esoteric asceticism. He viewed himself as a nomadic, Yamabushi which is simply a mountain hermit or Sohei better known as a Warrior Monk. Kayaku had a difficult journey ahead of him as he gets distracted and involved in random situations. Nevertheless, he has devoted the remaining years of his life to attaining enlightenment through physical and mental prowess. The Hyuga was about to give Sano a quick history lesson until he noticed his student falling into the Gentle Fist Stance. "Awwe? You've missed my company haven't you Sanosuke? Alright, since you're so happy I'm here let's begin" Without so much as warning Kayaku moved to close the distance, matching Sanosuke's speed so as to not make it impossible for the young man to learn something. When close enough to utilize a ranged attack; Kayaku would display his physical agility by executing two jump kicks. "Juho: Sokkotsu - Gentle Step: Second Bone''. Two bullets of chakra were fired from his feet as he executed the kicks. Upon landing the Hyuga's rush continued, hoping the projectiles would preoccupy Sanosuke enough for Kayaku to get within range for several more basic Gentle Fist Strikes; this time aiming for the Tenketsu along the boy's arms. One on the back of each palm and three up his main attacking arm.

Like Fist Bone, Juho: Sokkotsu is a jutsu that allows the user to create small, compressed formations of chakra that can be fired off Kayaku's fist or in this case, his feet. When using this jutsu, Kayaku releases foot sized "bullets" of chakra to attack his target from afar. Despite not having a large range the force of the chakra is strong enough to knock the wind from it's target, cause muscle bruising or break ribs, depending on where the jutsu lands. Because of the nature of this jutsu, Kayaku mainly use jump kicks. The range of this jutsu is 5 meters from the user's foot.

"I'll just take that as a compliment."

Sanosuke expected nothing less from the man that opened his eyes to the world of the Hyuuga. The fighting style definitely improved his outlook on combat while also adding range to the amount of ways he could put pressure on his opponents. It also gave him new ideas and perspective on the kind of techniques he could create using his own clans power along side the Takeda. His ideas still had much work, but he looked forward to the day where he'd get to show him what he'd been working on since their last encounter.

Nevertheless, Sanosuke had many questions he wanted to ask his teacher, but he'd make sure to choose a different setting to ask him those questions. He definitely had not come back in the same conditions that he had left, there was also what Tatsuo told him about a year ago. The killing of innocent civilians and merchants. He was sure there was more to the story, otherwise he was sure Kayaku would have put him in the ground the moment he first met him here.

Sanosuke was excited that he was going to be learning an even more advance version of the technique he'd been taught, and the fact that it was only meant for a certain branch of the clan made it even more significant. Sanosuke looked in awe as he called out the name of the technique. "64 palms.. Whoa." As much as he tried not to, it was hard to ignore how formidable of a fighter he'd be once he put it into action.

Well, in action against someone other than his best friend Sagara. For now Sanosuke had been saving the technique to act as a trump card against anyone that managed to put his back up against the wall. Nonetheless, when Kayaku was done speaking Sanosuke took it upon himself to get into his Gentle Fist stance. The older Hyuuga had a habit of attacking when he least expected it, but not this time.

Sanosuke rolled his eyes and smirked after he made the comment about missing him. Really he was just here to see if he had no drank himself into some sort of lame coma, but all jokes aside he did. After all, he was the only reliable life line to the Hyuuga. Sanosuke thought about responding, but Kayaku had already begun to make a move without giving so much as a real warning that he was coming.

Once he got within range of himself, Sanosuke was surprised to see that Kayaku started off by utilizing two jump kicks. Not only that, but it fired off two foot like projectiles toward him. If this was their first training session he might have instinctively tried blocking, but as a result of the work they put in Sanosuke opted to dodge them. He'd do this by split through it by finding a small seam to weave through.

Waiting for him afterward was Kayaku, the moved was perfectly timed as Sanosuke had to be occupied with the previous prior attack first, so the advantage was definitely on the side of his master. Even without his full speed he managed to close the gap. There was no way he could avoid what was coming, but he could try to make the most of the situation without getting screwed completely.

As Kayaku was striking the Tenketsu in his none dominant arm, he'd try to make that the main focus of his attack by completely removing his dominant arm from the situation by pulling it away, but he wasn't done just yet.

He'd follow up that maneuver with a turning straight kick to Kayaku's stomach from his dominant side to kick him away. The strikes Kayaku placed on him would make it hard to move, let alone strike with his non dominant arm, but that didn't mean all was lost yet.

[Hyuga Kayaku]

a friend's eye is a good mirror. So he knew to protect his dominant arm? Hmm, something's different... Wait did he get promot..." Kayaku's thoughts were interrupted when the kick connected to his stomach. The force of the kick caused him to slide across the slick ground beneath him, however the jounin never lost his footing. Sanosuke had aimed it perfectly, actually catching the Hyuga lost within his thoughts for the first time. "You've become a chunin haven't you? Ha! I'm proud of you boyo. I knew you had it in you" he said, genuinely impressed by the half breed's growth. Despite Sano's obvious increase in skill, Kayaku had achieved a level that denoted him as an Elite among jounin. As such the kick did little to no physical damage but held a lot of weight when it came to Kayaku's respect for Sanosuke and how the older Hyuga would handle the boy's training moving forward. "Well then, it seems like I'll have to actually pay attention now huh Sano? It'll only get harder from now on`` Kayaku added shamelessly as he gracefully fell into the gentle fist stance. Just like before, the Hyuga's words were both a compliment and threat. Despite his lack of tact, Kayaku's words weren't the result of arrogance or pettiness. Rather, shinobi of his level rarely encountered someone that required their full attention or gained their respect. That said, Kayaku never wanted to purposefully underestimate Sanosuke, more so his overall experience and skill made it so that the boy's attempts had not required his full undivided attention at least until now. "Sano, guess what?" Kayaku's tone and facial expression gave an impression that only best friends or a "bro" would understand. Throughout time, across many cultures and within nearly every country, men have tested their respect for one another through physical feats and tolerance of pain. With Kayaku as his Sensei and friend, Sanosuke would also go through this age old phenomenon among men. Although still technically training, what Kayaku was about to attempt were his version of the proverbial action known between men as "Busting One's Balls" "You're in the zone of my eight Trigrams…" The smirk never fell from the man's face as he resumed the spar. Using the same amount of speed as before Kayaku closed the distance yet again, with him seemingly going for the Eight Trigrams 32 palm strikes. "2 palms, 4 palms… 8 palms" by the time Kayaku reached 8 strikes Sanosuke should be able to understand the difference between the two jutsu; and it wasn't just the numbers. Unlike the lower ranked version of the technique, when using the 64 palms the user increases their speed with each set of strikes.In order to learn this version, Sanosuke would first have to deduce that it incorporated increasing one's speed with each strike. To effectively combine the increasing intervals of speed while keeping form required him to use the adaptability taught to him earlier and the enhanced sight of his Byakugan. "16 palms…32 palms" If Sanosuke didn't or wasn't able to intervene Kayaku would reach thirty-two strikes in no time at all. Because Sanosuke was now a chunin, the Hyuga saw no reason for him to not utilize the full brunt of the first 32 palms; with him intending to continue to 64 palms if Sanosuke didn't interrupt before the 32nd palm struck.

DESCRIPTION:
The Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms is a taijutsu that should only be passed down in the main house of the Hyūga. Using the Byakugan’s near 360º filed of vision the user will strike the enemies within their eye reach with violent palm or finger thrusts. By striking sixty-four of the tenketsu, they will cause a huge disruption in which the chakra flow of the enemy will be forcefully stopped, making it unable for them to even properly stand after the assault. Each set of strikes is done at an exponentially increasing pace and strength. The attack not only disables the enemy but also knocks them back with every set of strikes.

[TAKEDA SANOSUKE™]

The Takeda's last move was without a doubt a disappointment, but that was no fault of his own. His kicks these days were strong enough to put even some of the best shinobi in his clan down to the ground, but it seemed like his kick had little to no affect on his master. Of course having laced it with chakra would have helped, but still, it was definitely a showcase of how much more he had to go before he was in elite territory.

The fight reached a brief halt after the kick as Kayaku picked up on his recent promotion. "Oh yeah, that was a thing we talked about the last time we saw each other wasn't it?" Sanosuke responded with a smile while scratching his head. The Takeda had finally done it, he'd reach the point the village said that he would cap at, and now he was going to surpass every low expectations they had of him while also surpassing the ones placed upon him in his former prime.

"Humph, I guess so, but I would expect nothing less of you."

A head nod of respect was given before Sanosuke fell into his own Gentle fist stance. Being promoted had been good for him, but this time around it meant that Kayaku wouldn't have to hold back as much as he did before in the past. Nevertheless, once they entered their stance, Kayaku questioned him. "What?" The Takeda said in response to his guess question. The Hyuuga had stated that he was within his zone of the eight trigrams.

Sanosuke smirked in acknowledgement, as he too now was also familiarized with the trigrams himself. Almost immediately, the fight picked right back up where it left off. Because of his maturity it was easy to see that he was still holding back his speed, but that didn't mean his intent was any different. This training was going to be a balance of learning while also providing him with a necessary ass whooping.

No matter, Sanosuke would try to equal what was coming to him by showing him what he learned from the 32 palms technique. He wasn't just going to sit around and let his master boss him around, but as the two of them start throwing strikes he realized something different. He expected his count to be much like the 32 palms, but it wasn't. The irregularity in its speed threw him off a little as he tried balancing the fight his with his learning IQ.

The speed of the jutsu was easily much faster than his own, even with him holding back the precision of his strikes were just flat out different. "2!.. 4!.. 8!" But each time he got to a different number, it seemed like Kayaku was taking off to an entirely different dimension. The man was truly a genius in his training. It was hard for anyone to create such a balance out of a sparring session like this one.

Nonetheless, Sanosuke was fully aware of what was going to happen if he let things get too out of control. By this point he was losing Tenketsu faster than he was able to try and cut off Kayaku's. He only had one option, in the midst of his strikes, just before he got to about the thirty second one, just perform a flash kick aim to the face of his master. The move would hopefully surprise him into backing away from him.

Depending on if his planned worked the way he wanted, Sanosuke would try to get as much distance between them before forming 7 handseals so that he could utilize the Devil Trigger transformation to give him a upper hand in the fight, or at least try to. He wanted to show him that he learned a balance between the two styles. If his move did not give way to creating separation, than he would without a doubt be left open for an attack.

The transformation acts as a projection of the users true self. Each form looking different than the next. [Hyuga Kayaku]

In fearful day, In raging night With strong hearts, full our souls ignite The earlier kick to his gut was stronger than the Hyuga had anticipated, the pain started instantly, and by the time Kayaku and Sanosuke were trading blows again, a reddish bruise formed along the Jounin's abdomen. The earlier strike wouldn't be enough to deter the man's movements due to his body's endurance. Kayaku had spent his entire life honing his body in the arts of Taijutsu. Subsequently, his ability to endure both physically and mentally has become astounding. His most recent feat of endurance happened during his failed attempt at Kusagakure's former leader; when Hono Chisai tried to melt him entirely. However, the Hyuga was not only able to survive the advanced element known as Lava Release but also escape the village with ninety-five percent of his body covered in burns. As far as Kayaku were concerned, if Sanosuke wanted to gain the upper hand he'd have to be able to exert physical forces on par with the Heat of Hono Chisai's lava release jutsu. Still, to think Kayaku was having this much fun, all while training the half-breed brat and honing his own craft would have been impossible for Kayaku before meeting Sanosuke. It felt like only yesterday when he had first met Sanosuke in the rolling sand dunes of Kaze no Kuni. The older Hyuga was quite skeptical on whether the boy was being honest about his lineage and agreed to train him if only to verify the child’s claims. As fate would have it, Kayaku wouldn’t get the chance to confirm what Sanosuke had told him during their first encounter. Sunagakure, Kaze no Kuni's hidden village were quick to send in shinobi forces to stop the S-rank criminal who hailed from their long-standing ally, the fire country. A couple of years later Kayaku happened to run into Sanosuke again. This time the older Hyuga was traveling through Arashi no Kuni; using the nation as a cover to cross the border into his homeland. Finally, Sanosuke would lay to rest the doubts Kayaku had on the boy’s actual parentage; with him even convincing the Hyuga to become his sensei in the ways of the Hyuuga. Now, months… if not a year or two after their initial training session Kayaku had returned to Arashi no Kuni, however this time he hoped to see the half-breed. HIs reasons for continuing the child’s training now was more personal than it had been before. Kayaku had officially recognized Sanosuke as his pupil and while he was sure he’d have to share the boy with his official Amegakure Shinobi sensei, the Hyuga couldn’t help but enjoy the time he spent with Sanosuke as he had become Kayaku’s first and only pupil. Figuring Sanosuke could possibly return to the place where they first trained, the Hyuga would return to the forgotten log cabin hidden within the rainforest-covered wilds of Arashi no kuni until his student returned to him...  As the battle of the Gentle Fist continued, the younger shinobi tried to land another kick, this time to Kayaku's beautifully scarred face but it would miss its mark, albeit barely as the tip of Sanosuke's foot inches came zooming past Kayaku’s nose; mere inches away. In order to evade the technique, the Hyuga had to utilize to accelerate before backstepping at full speed. The near-hit was due to Sanosuke successfully closing several of the men's Tenketsu, the Hyuga nearly had his head rocked by Sanosuke’s kick to the face. With Kayaku no longer holding back the full capacity of his speed, he quickly put some distance between him and Sanosuke, showing Sanosuke just how fast he really was. Shit... that kick was harder to avoid than I expected. My body's reaction time has slowed due to him closing several of my Tenketsu, Kayaku thought to himself. Instead of taking advantage of any openings, Kayaku figured that it wouldn't be beneficial to Sanosuke if he took every opportunity to land his own strikes, or something along with that sentiment; this was his first time being a Sensei after all. Once adequate space was between the two of them Kayaku would utilize decelerate to stop his movement abruptly as Sanosuke activated his Takeda Kekkei Genkai. "Oh? Is this you going all out then? Well, let us begin!” Kayaku said with byakugan focusing on Sanosuke’s Tenketsu as he activated the Takeda clan Kekkei Genkai. Falling back into the Gentle Fist stance, Kayaku’s chakra would react to his excitement and move vigorously within his body before he’d focus a portion of the energy into his palm until they’d bloom into twin ferocious lion heads known as Komainu. In the shinobi world, these guardian lions were often pairs of lion-like creatures either guarding the entrance or the honden, or the inner shrine of many Japanese Shinto shrines. Since he was now facing a devil, It was only fitting that Kayaku used the Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fist as it shrouded his palms with Guardian Komainu. However, instead of rushing the boy as he had in the beginning the older Hyuga bided and allowed Sanosuke to be the aggressor, Kayaku wanted to witness more of the Takeda clan’s devilish abilities. So he’d chosen to ready himself for whatever the boy would send his way, prepping his chakra to utilize his arsenal to its fullest extent if he had to. Kayaku’s prowess with his chakra would be on full display as he readied himself; his control on a level to where he could release large amounts within a moment's notice.

Byakugan Master

One of Kayaku's trademark abilities is his Byakugan, with the other two being his Taijutsu and chakra control. While the Byakugan is very common within in his clan, Kayaku's is especially powerful. With his eyes, he has a near-360° penetrative field of vision, with a small blind-spot exists behind his third upper-thoracic vertebrae. Kayaku's Byakugan gives him the ability to see chakra, which it can do to a greater degree than the Sharingan, with it he can identify chakra by the specific individuals it originates from and determine when genjutsu is being used. Kayaku's ability to see chakra is acute enough to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that run along it, including the Eight Chakra Gates, additionally his vision can penetrate through most solid objects and obstructions, however certain barriers may distort his Byakugan's perception

The range of this vision varies between clan members, however Kayaku has refined both his long range and close range visual prowess. When focusing his vision in a single direction, Kayaku can see across vast distances, reaching as far away as 15 kilometers, while at close distances his Byakugan grants his attacks pinpoint accuracy, allowing him to magnify in on the slightest movements of his opponents body and inturn move to dodge or intercept. Lastly, Kayaku's Byakugan is able to follow high-speed movements, which allows the him to react better under entense situation. With that being said Kayaku's prowess with his Byakugan is such that it allows him to see the faintest movements of his opponents body, see fast-moving objects or opponents, chara and his opponents Organs, simply put Kayaku has one of the strong Byakugan's to hail from the clan.

Agility of the Rabbit

Over the years, Kayaku has gained a high level of agility, this coupled with the added visual prowess granted to him by his Byakugan has also endowed him with impressive evasive skills. Utilizing both his agility and the dojutsu allows him to dodge, evade and even counter the trickiest of attacks. Kayaku has also learned to read his enemies' attack patterns with the Byakugan, which greatly increases his already potent evasive skills. This is done by Kayaku paying close attention to the enemie's chakra system and body movements, allowing Kayaku to basically see when his opponent is about to attack.


Enhanced Physical Speed

Even without speed enhancing jutsu, Kayaku is naturally fast and now thanks to the tremendous raw strength in his legs, Kayaku's natural speed is more than enough to keep shinobi busy during battle. Allowing him to move fast enough to instantly close a gaps between him and his opponent. In battle, he can strike with incredible speed in rapid succession, making it highly difficult for his opponents to find an opening and counterattack. This allows him to react to the visual information given to him by his Byakugan, such as seeing incoming projectiles, or enemy jutsu or even dodging close range attacks that would be impossible to do so otherwise.

Matchless Man

Kayaku has gained a large degree of physical strength as a result of his life long Taijutsu training. Admittedly, Kayaku had intended to increase his striking power but unintentionally found many different uses for his unimaginable strength. Now honed to elite shinobi standards and possibly higher, Kayaku's strength is no doubt top tier. Kayaku's strength is mostly displayed is in his ability to seemingly punch, break or attack through anything. Whether this is attributed to the use of chakra or strength alone has yet to be determined. However, with his natural strength alone Kayaku can easily punch through most objects such as flesh, bones and wood, with the use of a chakra his striking power could extend to concrete, steel and even chakra constructs. As mentioned above, this strength also comes in handy with other situations as well, being a taijutsu master, Kayaku can easily attack or Defend against most his opponent's attacks with his bare hands.

Endurance of the Taijutsu Master

Another one of Kayaku's defining traits is his extreme level of physical endurance, like his physical strength Kayaku has trained his entire body in order for him to survive deadly attacks that was attributed to Taijutsu but in later years ninjutsu as well. Allowing him to survive most attacks or continue fighting with injuries capable of bringing even jounin to their knees. This, coupled with his incredible strength, make him an incredibly fearsome foe if forced to fight seriously.

Hyuga's Chakra Prowess

Like all Hyuga clan members Kayaku was born with an inherent ability to expel chakra from any or all Tenketsu, over the Years Kayaku has mastered the use of this ability and has gained exceptional amount of control of his chakra, It usually takes a shinobi a great deal of time and training to gain just an average amount of chakra control. However, in Kayaku's case things were different. Even as a young child, Kayaku was able to mould his own chakra. Now, as an adult and an S ranked Missing-nin, Kayaku's chakra control is otherworldly. Kayaku's innate talent allows him to precisely gather chakra from any part of his body and use any of his techniques to its maximum potential with no wasted chakra or timing. Kayaku has expanded his chakra control to the point that he is able to rapidly accumulate large amounts of chakra within his body without his enemies noticing, and unleash it from any tenketsu without any wasted effort.

A very simple technique, by using chakra the user is able to instantly accelerate their selves to their max speed. This can be done in just about any condition, but any techniques that slow the user's movement (such as armor from jutsu or most jutsu that might slow an individual) will still affect them.

DESCRIPTION:
The opposite to accelerate, decelerate effectively allows the user to instantly disperse all their momentum and stop on a dime as it were. This technique however can only be used for movement and the user must be touching the ground. This can not stop the user from taking damage from a fall nor can it stop their movement when being hit from an attack.


NAME: Jūho Sōshiken[ Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists]

DESCRIPTION:

The user changes the shape of chakra released from both hands into large guardian lion-shaped shrouds. Doing so greatly increases range and destructive power. The lion heads drain the chakra network of those they touch. It is an extremely difficult ability to learn, as the slightest mistake in chakra control will lead to failure, meaning it is a feat requiring the Byakugan. This technique can be used in conjunction with the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms.

The two were definitely entering the part of the fight where things were going to get serious. The Takeda would be lying if he said that using this transformation was easy. Kayaku had taken at a good number of his Tenketsu, and using the Devil Trigger required a high level of chakra control to maintain. Fortunately he had just that, but that didn't mean he'd be able to sustain it the way he would have had none of his tenketsu been closed.

A few rounds with Kayaku would be all he had before his chakra network would probably begin to struggle with maintaining the transformation. Either way he was going to make the most of whatever chance he could create. The last time he used any sort of transformation against Kayaku he tried to force his way into creating openings, but this time around he was not going to do that. He was going to use whatever opening Kayaku gave him so he could apply what he saw during his last assault.

The Hyuuga had already given him a hint at how the 64 palms technique worked, now he just needed the chance to apply it. It seemed like Kayaku was going to give him the floor, which honestly was his best chance to really create an opening to trap him in the trigram. However, there was also the problem of having to deal with Kayaku Elite Close range fighting prowess. None of the jutsu he would've used against people in his own class wouldn't be as affective.

Even now as he was holding back Sanosuke still had issues with dealing with his elite and unmatched close range prowess. After getting into a gentle fist stance the Takeda decided that the only way he'd be able to attack Kayaku was by creating a ton of pressure. A head nod was given before Sanosuke burst into a high speed explosive movement that would quickly close the short distance between the two of them.

Having already seen the technique in action with his own eyes, he knew the Byakugan would be able to see through his immense speed. Add in the explosive steps and you could practically calculate where he was going to be, but that wouldn't matter. Once Sanosuke got within range of the Elite fighter he'd throw a right jab toward his face, and then a left hook a chest with a good amount of power behind it. It was going to be now or never, hopefully Kayaku's counter wouldn't ruin a chance at utilizing his own.

  DESCRIPTION: Shukuchi Is a High level close range combat technique developed and utilized by the Takeda through many years of training in the art of close range combat. This technique relies heavily on the strength boost provided by the Devil Trigger as a means to propel the users legs to greater speeds without the need of having to utilize momentum based on an explosive first step. With this the user is able to reach max speed instantly, but with the increase in strength from the transformation combined with further training into improving ones speed the user is able to move at such a high speed that their body becomes invisible to the naked untrained eye. The only thing left in its wake are the explosive footsteps of the user on the ground leaving this as an only means for an opponent to track them. However, while this is considered to be a drawback the speed boost given provides an even bigger upside.
  The Shukuchi makes it harder for the enemy to track the movements of the user up until the moment they decide to strike. As such this technique is best used in situations where the user has a speed advantage over its opponents as the only time they'll be able to see the user is at the moment they make an attack, and thats solely dependent on the abilities of the opponent. Those who are inferior in overall close range combat maneuverability will have a hard time tracking the user even at the point of attack however, those who are of equal to the user, or are faster will have an increased chance of seeing what the move the user is about to make right at the point of the attack. This attack in no way shares an equivalence to the "Body Flicker jutsu" and as such is not instantaneous. The speed of this technique are also vulnerable to the likes of Doujutsu with strong visual prowess IE: Sharingan, Byakugan, etc, but are no less susceptible to its speeds if the foe is incapable of matching the users own.
  Given the boost in strength provided by the Devil Trigger transformation the user of this jutsu is capable of of stopping on the dime and changing direction. The shrouds of sightly transparent lion head swirled, spat and swooshed around the missing-nins arms before becoming opac and dense as the Hyuga readied himself. Keeping his eyes on the chunin became harder the longer the session continued however Kayaku had yet to use his full brunt of his abilities. Slowly but surely this was becoming an obsolete training method; especially with the boy undergoing such devilish transformation. With that being said, once Sanosuke moved Kayaku would move as well. The Byakugan, was one of the great Doujutsu of the hidden leaf and Kayaku's were among the greatest, personally speaking. Sano's speed had increased dramatically, so much so that Kayaku could barely see him moving towards him. What Kayaku did see was Sano at his starting location then he'd disappear and barely phase into sight before disappearing altogether and then reappearing within striking range. The Hyuga barely had time to react, with Sano's first strike missing it's mark, however as soon as it did another fist from the ghastly silhouette would hit him. Anyone else would have ceased their assault due to the sheer shock of the second attack; that is anyone other than Kayaku. Having such a high degree of endurance and agility, not to mention his speed and overall experience, Sano's teacher would counter instead of trying to put distance between them. The lion's head of chakra bloomed brightly before Kayaku slammed a talon-like hand into the younger shinobi's body. The Hyuga aimed for Sanosuke's chest, however Kayaku's attack was slightly off target due to the silhouette's attack, making contact with the Sano's side/ribcage instead. If Kayaku did make contact with Sanosuke's ribcage, he'd quickly flatten his attacking hand, and push, releasing the chakra that shrouded his palms as he did. The talon itself when performed by an average shinobi was akin to being punched four times, the following palm thrust increased this force enabling one to shatter stone. Coupled with the Guardian Lion shroud, it would more than likely break several of the boy's ribs before sending him flying across the battlefield. "Tch, frick. I nearly lost consciousness. I'll have to avoid his attacks the next time we train, his physical strength isn't something to toy around with" Kayaku said to himself between breaths; he couldn't remember the last time someone made him break a sweat, let alone almost knock him out completely. The user changes the shape of chakra released from both hands into large guardian lion-shaped shrouds. Doing so greatly increases range and destructive power. The lion heads drain the chakra network of those they touch. It is an extremely difficult ability to learn, as the slightest mistake in chakra control will lead to failure, meaning it is a feat requiring the Byakugan. This technique can be used in conjunction with the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms.
