SIGN UP SLOTS: 4-8 SIGN UP WINDOW: 2 Weeks EVENT description. The Sumiya Eve Classic returns! After five years of absence the great race that commemorates the march of the legendary Second Kazekage from Akuram to Roran is back. Peril and Danger await as the season of the storms begin and sandstorms cover land, thunder strikes render the sand into glass and much, much, more. You will be navigating the desert, piloting a skiff and letting the wind propel you forward as you endure the elements and dangers of the route.  Starting from Akuram you will cross the demon desert and finish the first leg of the race on Ryumaku. The second leg will see you cross the sea of dunes as you to reach the Gates of Sumiya. Lastly from the Gates you will race towards the capital city of Roran as you reach the finish line and obtain the laurels of victory All participants will be provided with a skiff, you may use techniques to hamper your competitors, but not to power your own skiff, the skiffs must use the winds to travers the desert. In addition all participants will be given a survival kit with food, water and a first aid items. Flares will be provided to all participants if they choose to retire, a red flare will signify they wish to retire.

scout Sand skiff OWNER: Sunagakure RANK: C CLASSIFICATION: Supplementary ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION: The skiff is a traditional transport used in Kaze no Kuni, using skis to glide on sand whilst the sails catch on the wind to propel the vehicle. The scout sand skiff is a version of their larger cousins, being built on a sturdy yet light frame to maximize speed and maneuverability. Whilst focused on speed the skiff leaves its passengers exposed to the elements making it difficult for those not trained in its use and in survival to operate it. ABILITIES: Sturdy: Special Fabrication Techniques of Sunagakure make the skiff rather durable, able to withstand hits and blows and absorb the shock of forceful landings rather well and continue in one piece.  Its sails are known to be durable as well, hard to tear even against the impact of sharp debris.
