Knowledge itself is never dangerous, it is how that knowledge is used that is dangerous.
On the outskirts of Sagyo, a human finger suddenly grew from the ground. The finger wiggled back and forth briefly before a hand would follow, then a wrist and arm; rising from the earth as if a shinobi horror movie had come to life. Twisting and churning, the upper torso and head of the shinobi emerged from the ground. The sight of Gure Yuuta's emergence from the earth was macabre even by shinobi standards, some of which utilized terrifying Abilities. There were few clans as odd as the clan Gure, and even fewer Gure who were as much of an oddity as Yuuta were. "Guess this is home sweet home now. Man even from here Sagyo looks like a dump" Yuuta Said aloud before heading into the village itself.
Sagyo was once a booming industrial village that supplied the nation with an abundance of goods and taxes; however in recent years the village has fallen into dilapidation, lawlessness and poverty. As Yuuta walked through village gates that had seen better days, memories of his last visit to Sagyo forced their way from the back of his mind. Back when Yuuta and a much younger, more innocent Rokurou engaged bandits within the village walls. A close call for sure, it had come to light that the bandits were actually Shinobi hired by someone or another to kidnap Rokurou. Although Yuuta had gotten injured protecting his son, the two of them would return home relatively safe. From that moment on, Yuuta decided to uncover exactly who and why Roku was targeted.
Rokurou was one of 6 children who were brought to his orphanage from neglectful foster parents. The boy arrived with hardly anything, only a locket of what Yuuta assumed to be his late biological parents. He had no proper identification, no medical papers and wasn't an heir to any nobility. He would go on to adopt those children not long after they had arrived, Yuuta raised them as his own and Rokurou became his pride and joy. That said, he was fairly certain that Rokurou wasn't from a clan either. So why was he targeted? The question had plagued Yuuta ever since.
Recently, however, the Gure clan Jounin had come across an old grave one day while visiting his late younger sister, Kiko. The names written on the grave were Uchiha Akai and Uchiha Mina. At the time, Yuuta couldn't remember where he had heard or seen the names before, at least not until much later. Being a man of information, regardless of his small Yuuta was slightly obsessed with figuring out who Akai and Mina were and why their graves were seemingly forgotten. After sneaking about and quite possibly breaking a few laws or military clearances, Yuuta had uncovered the tragic fate of the Uchiha couple. It wouldn't be until he uncovered an old photograph of the two Uchiha, that everything made sense. "Who would have thought that my baby boy, Rokurou could possibly be an Uchiha." He said aloud yet again as he walked through the iron gilded village. Pulling the picture he found among many Shinobi who had gone missing or presumed dead, from the inner pocket of his green coat. "This picture, these people, they're the same people depicted in the photo inside Roku's locket" he added.
Yuuta of course wanted to show his son what he had uncovered but before he went and got the boy's hopes up he wanted to be certain. That wasn't all though, Rokurou had become fairly busy with his new role as gate guard; the two of them weren't as inseparable as used to be. So, the Jounin eventually decided to gather more information and use Rokurou's busy schedule to meddle around. Then that's when he hit him, one of Rokurou's potential kidnappers called him 'son of Akai'. As with all of Yuuta's various schemes, instead of contacting the Hokage or any leadership within the village, he'd simply take matters into his own hands; eventually leading him back to Sagyo, to ask or, well, demand for clues. "Sheesh this place is worse than last time… I guess since I'll be here for a while. I might as well help the locals."

Sagyo
Note: Feel free to join, Yuuta is technically going to try and fix Sagyo. So this is just the first of several plot threads. As of right now, Yuuta is moving to the city, so if anyone joins it'll be either trying to help hesitant and scornful citizens or stopping Yuuta from pulling a stupid. Oh feel free to push the narrative in whatever way. It'll make it fun.
