Dirt and dust clung to her soft features as she walked on a somewhat familiar path. Her body wore the fatigue from not only the injuries she sustained in her scuffle with Hiromitsu, but from the elements and tiredness that washed over her body traveling through Tsuchi no kuni in hopes of finding some sort of lead on where her brother had gone. The last thing she remembered was him telling her that they were going to travel through earth country, but he never told her the destination. After days of asking around, the girl figured that whatever lead she might’ve had there had grown cold long ago.

Each step she took seemed forced and weak, her feet barely lifting from the ground as she took the next step. It was obvious that she was tired and more or less defeated. When she was in Konoha, she figured that locating Hotaru wouldn’t be such an issue, but clearly the girl was wrong. Weary legs carried her up a stone path, leading her to a place of more familiarity. Coming to a stop, Kazui would look up at a small sign that read "Ishi Abaraya.” A small sigh of relief escaped her lips as she continued into the small village. The streets were relatively empty, but there were lights and lamps that lit the jagged stone path. The vendors that once lined the street were all absent, most were simply inside their homes as expected at this hour.

Without much hesitation, Kazui would find a building with an entrance lined with sheets of cloth and enter it. An elderly lady greeted her with a smile before she eventually caught on. "Oi, poor girl, you look exhausted. Wait, you’re that one girl..where’s ya brother this time around?” The lady asked. Kazui simply shrugged her shoulders in response, a visibly tired look worn over her features. "May I have a room, please.” The girl asked as she placed the remaining of her Ryo on the counter. Without waiting to hear the woman’s reply, Kazui would turn and head to the room.

Once she reached the room, the girl would drop all of her belongings by the front door as she went to go sit on the bed. Stretching out and tracing her hand over the leg that was once injured by Hotaru, the girl would sigh as her eyes shifted to the window where the moonlight shined bright. "Where are you?” She asked as if he would actually respond.

A brief moment of silence reigned as her eyes looked at the night’s sky, but soon after the girl would get a response...from someone, someone who wasn’t Hotaru. After a few knocks at the door, the elderly lady’s soft voice echoed through the walls. "Excuse me.” She called out, and for a moment Kazui was almost reluctant to answer. She didn’t want to get up from her seat nor did she feel like talking, but her manners made her do so anyway. Nearly limping towards the door, the young girl would be greeted by the sweet old lady but this time the lady would have a towel and a small bucket of warm water. "This is all I wanted to give you, you won’t have to worry about me for the rest of the night.” The lady said as she began to dig through a small pouch that was tied around her waist. After a brief moment of picking out coins, the lady would offer the Ryo that she left on the counter back to Kazui. "Your brother had paid once before and you two didn’t even stay for more than ten minutes...so you can stay for the next few days free of charge since he was so generous.”

"Hai..he’s a rolling stone. Thank you.” Kazui spoke softly, taking a quick bow before closing the door behind her again. Setting the bucket on one of the nightstands, the girl would quickly make use of the generosity of the elderly lady. Gently placing the towel in the water, Kazui would wipe the dirt and grime from her face, hands, and hair. It didn’t take away much from her fatigue, but it definitely helped her relax a bit. Once she was more comfortable the girl was able to think with a bit more clarity.

Since her original lead had grown cold, Kazui would have to brainstorm a new idea, a new lead that she could take. It didn’t take long, as the memories of the short time that she was able to spend with Hotaru, she remembered that he had told her that he was looking for some group or organization, Gattai? Yeah that was it. Sigh gently beneath her breath, the girl would fall back into the bed and stare at the ceiling as she continued to ponder on the organization and who would have possibly known about it.

"Kayaku?” She asked herself. The man owed her a favor, maybe perhaps he had some intel on the organization himself since he had been a Nukenin for ever since the girl could remember. There was one downside about seeking out Kayaku and that was the fact that he had the tendency to linger around Hi no Kuni, and Kazui knew for a fact that the village was on high alert for her even though she wasn’t as big of a deal compared to Kayaku himself. Shaking the doubt from her head, the girl would convince herself that none of that truly mattered. It was the best shot that she had at learning about the organization, so she would have to find him regardless.

But for now, it was time to rest.

The sound of chickens clucking endlessly, as well as the bustling sound of villagers going on about their normal day was enough to draw Kazui from her slumber. The sun was high in the sky, and there seemed to be little to no clouds in the sky. A beautiful day to get things done, especially for these hardworking people. Sitting up in the bed, the girl would look out the window, children and animals roaming, parents hanging laundry out to dry, and merchants trying to make a living.

It was already noon, and she was just now waking up, clearly things were different. As a sigh escaped her breath the girl would throw the cover from over herself and make the bed. As she made her way through the door, she would find a stack of clothes folded neatly on the floor, much to the likes of what the villagers wore as well. Taking the clothes, Kazui would proceed to change before heading out.

Barraged by a frenzy of hello’s, good morning’s, and how are you’s, the girl would quickly wave and answer them all respectively before moving on. She couldn’t exactly use this time to relax, she had to do something productive. Preferably something that couldn’t potentially point her in the direction of Hotaru.

"Oii!” A man and his daughter’s voices called out from a distance. Looking around, the girl would see two familiar faces behind one of the vendor stands. It was an older chef and his daughter, the same ones who had served both Kazui and Hotaru when they stopped by all that time ago. "Where’s the young fellow?” The older man asked. "I was sure you two were a packaged deal?”

"He’s...on vacation in hot springs country.” The girl assured with a weak smile, trying her best to not bring much attention to Hotaru or herself, plus she didn’t want the two worrying about Hotaru - surely telling them that she had no clue where he was would be a bit concerning. "Oi, good for him. What brings you back to this run down place though?” The man asked with laughter.

"For your cooking of course.” It was a lie, but a good one to try to put the attention on him rather than herself.

"Aw well then..” The elderly man stumbled on his words, completely caught off guard by Kazui’s compliment. A slight blush rose to his cheek as he rubbed the top of his head. "You know what. Your next meal is on us..” The man explained with a nod before looking at his daughter in which she would nod as well.

Kazui wasn’t the type to ask for handouts, and honestly she wasn’t the type to accept handouts either. She was honest and didn’t like people showing pity towards her - in most cases was what it all boiled down to. A pity for the young child, so someone often offered her things in which she didn’t earn nor did she deserve. It was weak. The girl liked to work for everything she got. However, since it was more on the side of gratitude than anything else - Kazui actually considered it for a moment.

A smile curled on her lips as she gave the duo a nod. "Thank you.” She said before moving on. It was still early in the day, and dinner wasn’t to be served until much later - perhaps then Kazui would decide to cash in on the offer given to her.

Without much hesitation, the girl would quickly make her way towards the bench where she and her brother once sat to enjoy lunch, she looked precisely at every little detail - trying to retrace their steps. It eventually led to where the last of her memories with Hotaru took place before she was knocked out by some poisonous substance. The girl gritted her teeth - she knew that he was planning on crossing through Tsuchi no Kuni in order to throw ANBU off his trail, however Kazui couldn’t quite remember where exactly he was headed.

"Err..Hotaru why couldn’t you just tell me where you were going?” She questioned the wind.

One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

She wasn’t allowed much time to dabble in her own thoughts or kick herself for letting Hotaru get away. Without much warning, the sound of hooves cackling across the stoned paths interrupted the girl’s entire thought process as well as the calm and peaceful ambiance that the small village held. As the sounds of racing horses came to a screeching stop, a man’s voice spoke out prompting the girl to look over her shoulder.

"Alright! You lot know the deal, yea? Any and all valuables..hand 'em over or else.” The leader voiced as he hopped from the saddle down to the earth below and drew a blade from his hip. His minions quickly followed suit, hopping off their horses and drawing a multitude of weapons in a way to show that they meant business.

A sigh escaped the teen’s breath as she quickly turned back around and minded her own business, she wasn’t a vigilante and she definitely wasn’t a superhero so there was no need to involve herself with the situation. The teen rested her eyes for a brief moment as the sounds of the bandits ransacking every small shop and food stands that were available. At least the villagers weren’t reluctant and understood that their valuables were replaceable. But their lives weren’t…

As the group of bandits continued making their rounds, Kazui sat on a bench still trying to retrace her brother’s footsteps, mapping out a potential route he may have gone to certain destinations that made sense for him and what he stood for. She knew he was keen on staying hidden, so if ANBU never found him, the chances of her doing so were very slim. But the girl was willing to comb through every country, every land until she managed to locate him..if that’s what she needed to do. "I should probably try to retrace our steps, maybe that will give me a clue of where he might’ve gone.” She mumbled to herself.

"Hey…brat. I’m sure you heard us..hand everything over or lose everything.” One of the henchmen finally made their way towards the girl as she sat in thought. At first she paid them no mind, but as a katana was drawn and placed on her shoulder Kazui would turn to face the man..crimson hues piercing through his soul. The man hesitated for a bit taking a half step back but realizing she was still just a little girl. "Listen I don’t know what the hell you’re doing but you have three seconds to hand it over… one..t-two..”

Before the man could finish his sentence Kazui would place him into one of her more extreme illusions..every cell within his body would feel as if they exploded, causing great pain to the man. "Aggh!” He screamed out as he fell to his knees and quickly took to a fetal position, trembling in agony.

It didn’t take long for the others to realize what was going on. "What the fuck?” One of the men spoke out as he saw his comrade on the floor crying and a little girl turning the corner walking directly towards them.

"Don’t come any closer or we’ll cut you down!” Swords were drawn at the ready, a hint of fear lingering behind the leader’s tone as he spoke and trembled with his weapon in hand. "I mean it!” He made sure the girl knew, but Kazui didn’t have any plans on changing her route. As far as she knew there was only one way into and out of the village so unfortunately she had to pass through the bandits to leave them be.

"Alright boys, you know the drill, get her!” With weapons in hand, the group of bandits blindly followed their leader’s orders and rushed towards the Uchiha. Pushing chakra outwards from her dojutsu, the teen would cast a genjutsu over the area creating a doppelgänger of herself and erasing her actual body from view. As the men charged the leading two swung their blades at the illusionary clone causing it to explode into a hundred crows before reconstructing itself again.

"What the…” The men were confused for a bit, and decided to give it another shot. "Ahhh!” They yelled as they charged, striking the clone again, starting the process over and over.

"You won’t get anywhere doing that..” The real Kazui proclaimed as she managed to make her way behind the group. "I’m leaving…” the girl stated before turning on her heels and walking towards the entrance of the small village.

"Bitch!” The leader yelled. "Don’t let her get away!” Yet most of his men were worried what would happen if they listened. To them the girl was invincible and unable to be killed, so they questioned the order once it was given. "What the hell are you guys waiting for? Fine, I'll do it myself.” Loading up back onto his horse, the man quickly raced down the paved road and would take a swing at the girl, slicing a part of her cloak but narrowly missing her arm.

Annoyed, Kazui drew her own blade and stood at the ready. "Bring it.” As the words were spoken the man charged towards her again, taking a swing from his horse, however this time Kazui promptly dodged, and returned a counterattack aimed for the leg of his trusty companion, cutting it down mid-stride causing it to tumble forward at full speed with the man still hooked to the saddle. Having the weight of a fully grown horse fall on a person wasn’t a fun thing to experience, but luckily he survived the encounter so that Kazui could finish him off.

As the girl approached, the horse managed to make it to its feet again and scurried away in pain and fear, leaving the man flat on his back planted into the hard dirt. Grunts and groans escaped his breath, luckily for him his band of criminals had his back, despite being in fear they all rushed towards him even as the girl approached. However, the closer she got, the more fear that was instilled into them.

"I suggest you all leave whatever you took from those people…” Kazui started, pointing her blade just centimeters away from the man’s throat as he laid flat. "Like I said, I'm leaving..but I’ll be back and I better find this place how it was before you arrived. Or else.”

With that said, Kazui would slowly place her sword back into its scabbard and turn on her heels. There were a few more leads she needed to investigate before she settled into the village for a night or two, retracing their steps were crucial to her search; maybe it would help jog her memory of what the two discussed before separating. Nevertheless, she was fully confident that the bandits would have learned their lesson without having to actually kill any of them. However, if her demands weren’t met, the girl would have no problem tracking them down and dishing out punishment. But before she would leave she would set to make one final example to show that she wasn't too be fucked with.

Stopping dead in her tracks, the Uchiha would turn to face the group of men huddled around their leader. A single finger held in the air after a string of handseals, crimson hues shifting slowly between the band of thieves before they eventually locked onto the man who had previously been crushed by his horse. There was no better target to make an example out of than the one who called the shots. Without any hesitation, Kazui pointed her finger at the man's dominant arm.

"BAhhhhh!!" From the floor, the man began to scream out in agony as he watched his arm seemingly disintegrate into nothing, the remnants flying away with the passing wind. And from there, the girl was off.
