Asahi canoed through one of the many rivers the wetlands near Kawa, and it was like he was a child again. This place had been his backyard growing up, and although he lived in the village now, something about this place still called to him. Like he did as a kid, he would canoe a bit, pull off to some land and explore a bit. Once satisfied for that moment, he would go back to his canoe and go a bit further, before repeating the process. The land seemed like it always had something new to show whenever he had a chance to visit. He was having fun, but he was no stranger here. Whenever he went on land, he was sure to take his backpack and other things with him. The land was dangerous in many ways. Animals, plants, and people could all harm you let your guard down. Maybe that was why he liked the place so much. There was a certain rush that came with the exploration. He had used up his canisters for his mask a while back, so instead of on his face it hung on his waist next to his left item pouch. But that didn't deter him from pressing on. The air was a calculated risk. Another stretch of trees and vegetation caught his eye, so he pulled off and docked his canoe. It didn't take long for him to find himself deep in the green, his canoe out of sight, and interesting flora all around him.

Kameki Izumi

The unseen

Izumi this time was out and about as himself, believe it or not. It was a very rare occurrence for the Kusagakure anbu to not be impersonating someone else. Then again, it wasn't like people would be able to recognize him anyway.

He was wearing his form fitting Hazmat suit, the trademark of Kusagakure's Biohazard Corps. The rubbery outfit covered him from head to toe in thick green rubber, complete with an integrated backpack leading to two rebreathers mounted on his mask. With the suit's helmet and eye protection, the young man was basically cut off from the world if he wasn't actually breathing in the air around him. He could rely on the suits so called "third lung." but that would be stupid. There was no point in using the filters if there was no gaseous poison in the air.

Still, never being too sure, he changed the color of the only visible thing of his body, as well as his voice. He would of course sound muffled considering there was rubber covering his mouth, but if there was one thing Izumi knew real well was attention to detail was paramount to remain unseen.

Today, he was out on border patrol. Hopping around in the tall grass, safe from its sting, the shinobi would eventually end up patrolling down river. There, he would spot a small boat with a white haired guy on it. Hm. Interesting.

For now, the Jonin would silently follow it around, just to see where the guy was headed.
