A lot had transpired since he'd last come across the Hyuga Shodaime. There meeting was one that he deemed to be the fate of the Devil himself. What were the chances that she was not only in a relationship with the man who revealed to him the ways of the Hyuuga, but also apart of the side faction that were being mistreated by the main faction of their clan. In a lot of ways their meeting was too perfect, but if there was anyone he trusted it was Kayaku.
He might have had many flaws, but trust among friends was definitely not one of them. At any point he could have been killed by the Nuke-Nin, eyes taken, and would have died an embarrassment not only his clan, but the entire Village of Amegakure. The connection that he and Shodaime made was an honest one, and till this day it still bothered him that he was not able to uphold his end of their agreement. It wasn't long after their meeting that it was decided that he would be groomed to become Amegakure's next leader.
His initial promotion had been on hold for awhile, but shortly after it was revealed that matter pertaining to Lord Fourth had been the reason for the hold, but also that his application was being consider for something far greater than just a promotion. The council decided that it was ready to make a bold decision by moving in an unprecedented direction. Deciding officially that old ways were no longer needed during their reign of prosperity and that it was time to truly invest in its youth.
The wear Heroes and other Shinobi Veterans of the past were definitely not happy with this decision, and in a lot of ways Sanosuke could understand their frustration, but he also understood why neither of them were fit to lead. At least not if they wished to move forward, otherwise they believed they would be left with another Takumi. Nevertheless, in the wake of his absence a note was left behind to Shodaime in the event she came the week afterward letting her know what was happening.
That time had now passed and with him as he headed to Kayaku's shack was some of his personal JITE. They weren't there to cause her any harm, instead they would assist in her travels from afar in the event some Konoha Shinobi were following her from behind. Measure had already been set in motion to secure her safety while also assuring she knew that she wasn't about to be under attack. There was no time table on how long it would take for her to arrive, but Sanosuke would wait the whole day nonetheless.
His Byakugans range had improved greatly since the last time the two of them spoke, and with that in mind he would keep his active for as long as he could until he spotted her from afar. He expected that she would do the same, and in any event she would be able to located him from inside the shack. With him in hand would be a paper that would read a specific set of instructions explaining to her what was going on.
If she took notice of his JITE personnel in the area first, she would see that they all would be pointing and directing her to look at the shack. The note would read as follows: "Don't worry about your safety, I have sent some of my best personnel to aid you in your travel. Out of respect they will stay as far away from you as they can without the risk of harm coming to you from elsewhere. They are merely here to guide you here, and to of course more importantly protect me. You have my word on my blood as a Hyuuga."
standing about twenty meters away from the Shack would be another pair of JITE personnel watching over him in the event others had followed her, but if they did he would have the time to be able to spot them well before they would even get the chance to reach him. By this time his range was closing in to about 5 kilometers, so no one would be able to sneak up on any of them. He hoped that she oblige to his wishes as he believed they had much to discuss.
