[Hirose Naoko]

Sometimes life was so difficult… All she had really wanted was to get a quick job done, sort out payment, and then be on her way. Things had taken a turn for the worse though, apparently some form of ‘payment’ wasn’t up to their standards. Well… too bad? She offered them a fair wage for getting the job done, but she found the job and planned it out~ Her cut was fair! At least in her eyes, but the aggression of two men certainly who didn’t feel that way, sleazy grins sliding across their ugly mugs as they got up from their stools at the bar and meant to get on either side of her own seat.

Nope, nope, nope~ The woman slipping away before the other brute could block that one escape route and her backing away. Quizzical look from the bartender and then a warning glare. Shit shouldn’t be started in his bar… And with a hesitant look from the woman. Slim of frame, an oversized shirt to her figure in dark red and thin legs clung tightly to by dark pants. THe heels on her feet didn’t stop the pep and bounce to her walk while the pale pink hair of the woman also held life and vibrance.

"Come on now~ A deal’s a deal~ I’m meeting up with my boy soon to show him the success, so don’t worry your pretty little heads. I’m taken!”

Lightness to her voice missing any worry that should have been on a woman’s face in her current situation. Backing towards a door that only meant she could run followed by two men that certainly looked more physical than a skinny lady in heels.

Which would be why she latched to the first man that came through the door. A figure to which she’d instantly and gracefully slip his arm around her body and settle his hand at her hip. Body turned in towards him and hugging to him with a bright smile across her face~

"Hiya babe~ I was just coming to find you! Job’s all done and went off without a hitch, isn’t that great?”

Light and sweet voice cooing to him, a hand raised after pressing to her lips to then complete that ‘kiss’ by tenderly touching her fingers to his lips. A happy grin, obviously very happy to see her ‘companion,’ then leaning into him and patting her palm against his abdomen.

"You’re the hottest, hun.

Now see? Fair is fair! Can I get some non work related time now~”

The first words given to the man she had latched to so readily, while the latter being for the men still contemplating jumping her. Two versus one was still in their favor, right? Though neither looked too keen on making a huge scene over some flighty, annoying pinkette either.

After a long and somewhat annoying day of work for Rentaro. Today was one of those days where he had to be outside of the office as he was given a mission he had to deal with. Since his job was already done for the day, he decided to stop by a nearby bar to get something to drink. A break after a long day wouldn't hurt him, and slacking off was something he liked to do. He didn't plan to stay in the bar for long, though. After all, some always turned out to be a pain in the ass once they got drunk and he did not like people that annoyed him for stupid reasons in his free time.

Rentaro opened the door that lead into the bar and stepped inside. He was hoping for a calm and quick drink before heading back to the village. However, it seems like all hopes for that went down the drain the moment as soon somebody latched towards him. It was a woman that proceeded to wrap his arm around her and hug him back in response. His facial expression looked bored, monotone, and certainly not amusing by her actions.

"...Who the hell are you?" He looked at Naoko with his single eye. As usual, his left eye was covered with a black eyepatch. His black overcoat covered most of his flak jacket, however, his headband was on his forehead if she paid attention she would realize that he was a Shinobi from Iwagakure. A moment later Rentaro looked at the two men the seemed like they were chasing behind her. "So this is why..." He said, quick to deduce that the reason she latched until him was to prevent herself from having those two men potentially do something with her. Rentaro had no clue what exactly they wanted from her, but he had no particular interest or care about that. At this point, he just waited for the two men to leave so he could kick out the woman that was latched on him and he could do his own thing.

For some, work was never done and for other’s life was nothing but play~ Naoko oddly seemed to fall in both of those categories… She’d never consider her busy life full of ‘work’ but nor would she have called herself safe at any moment or completely carefree. Even now? A pair of men that felt slighted, she desperately wanted to simply remove herself from the situation, perhaps she should simply run. The stress of dealing with these people and the effort to do so was just not worth it. She had what she wanted, afterall!

Which is where the hunk of an Iwagakure shinobi came in. Linked to him when he entered, clearly playing that he was her companion, and using him as a scapegoat from her trouble. It was easy as pie! And a foolproof plan. Men never turned down an attractive woman hanging off their arm..

What?

Sigh. Time and time again she dealt with hitches in her plans, but it was never not annoying to ahve something she expected to be so simple and obvious fall apart in front of her face. One of the two men snickered at her ‘boyfriend’s’ forgetfulness. While th eother only seemed to grow more irritated.

”She’s nothing but a lying bitch.”

An aggravated snap to his partner that would have started to get the other man equally riled. Clearly unahppy with her, though the woman only to chuckle.

"He just adores playing hard to get. It’s too much fun to see me squirm.

Stop being mean so I can buy you a drink, babe.”

Confident words, striking smile and no hesitance in the least, the woman would have kept her grip and attention on Rentaro to move into the bar and find them a seat~ A movement that would have been countered. The more irritable man that was calling her bluff moved in to grab at her wrist and tug her from her proclaimed ‘boyfriend’, fully intending on dragging her straight out of that bar if he succeeded. He had business to attend to.

Rentaro had no idea who the hell the woman that grabbed him was, in fact, he was even mildly confused. He had no business and frankly, he didn't care. Not fond of the idea of being dragged where he had to deal with unnecessary conflict, after all, he was quite a lazy person. Whoever this woman was, she was obviously using him to escape the situation she was in. After all, the two men would be less likely to try to take her by force in the presence of her "boyfriend."

The two men seemed to pick up on her trick fairly quickly, it was obvious it was a lie. Anyone with some common sense would know that she lying and really, she might've picked the worst person for this. He had no interest to be involved and just wanted to spare himself of any unnecessary trouble. The woman was confident, most people would panic in a situation like this or even try to run away as soon as she was found it was a lie, but she continued to insist. His eye briefly looked turned to look at her and then the two men, he remained quiet at the time being and decided not to say anything. All while Naoko decided to move him into the bar to find a seat for them.

As the two were about to move, there was a sudden stop as he quickly took notice of one of the men that grabbed Naoko by the wrist. Much to his annoyance, it seemed like he would have to get involved. He could just leave, but there was no way to know what those two men would do to her, and if just let it slide it would bother him later.

"Trust me, you don't want to do this..." Rentaro said, as he placed his arm on the man's arm before he could do anything move. The look on his face was monotonous, with a slight hint of annoyance, but other than that he remained calm. A second later, he started to apply force with his hand, applying pressure on the man's arm to the point that it would start to hurt. This was a warning and if he wanted he could twist or break his arm as soon as either he or his buddy tried to do something. "Let her go, I really don't want to waste on this."

Decided you’re her boyfriend now, huh?

Aggravated reply from the man who had decided to try and drag her off. Rentaro’s involvement was met with equal annoyance, men staring more at one another as Naoko would fade slightly into the background. Obviously still the problem and target, but the Iwagakure Shinobi’s sudden care and involvmenet called into question. The pinkette though? To cling a little more to Rentaro with a tilt of her head in towards him.

"Told you he likes to see me squirm~”

A playful whisper with a glint to her eye, a clear girlfriend, no~? And it was a play that Rentaro would have relented himself to. Pressure applied to the man’s wrist had him releasing Naoko quickly enough and a wince and bark back. ”The hell?” Meaning to pull back and leave the woman alone, rubbing at his wrist while looking at the pair with his own accusing stare and glare. His own ‘buddy’ hung back, unsure and definitely having noticed by now the Iwagakure insignia… Shinobi weren’t ones really to be trifled with…

"You manipulative bastards belong together.”

The man mumbled, grunting and waving his other off so they could depart ways at least for right then… Rentaro’s warning of not wanting to waste time at least heeded for the moment and leaving Rentaro with a woman still hanging off his arm.

Or rather, tugging him lightly the way she had before. Meaning to take him towards the far end of the bar to settle in at a pair of chairs just at the end.

"You’re so hot when you take my side~ What do you want to drink then?”

Appreciation showed, though act still kept up. If she’d gotten him in a seat she’d certainly take one beside him, though releasing his arm and propping her head up on the bar, looking to him with a light smile to her features.
