RELIGION STRUCTURE

The Sky Dragon religion has always been a religion with very minimal structure due to its limited number of followers. It is mostly comprised of wandering shinobi who seek the Sky tower and learn it's arts as a trade. The duties of a member varies depending on which path they are chosen to walk.

Kami's:

As a Kami their job is to grant wishes to those who need their aid, and have the ability to craft a series of stones that allow them to summon the sky dragon to grant wishes. They are the pillars of the religion and have existed for hundreds if not thousands of years since the religions original inception.

They are usually trained at a young age if they are born into the religion through their family or often make their way to the temple as wandering shinobi or civilians who haven't yet learned how to harness their chakra hardly ever accepting individuals from allied shinobi nations.

They begin their studies by having their chakra split into orbs which they are then tasked with retrieving in order to test their loyalty to the religion. Once this task is completed and their devotion is shown they are then given a formal education on what it means to be a Kami and are then able to begin their journey of granting the wishes of others by retaining the spirit of the dragon.

Kami's Champion:

Kami's Champions per se are not necessarily members of the religion but individuals who are undertaking a Kami's journey, however before one can become a champion the Kami must agree to the wish and may choose to accompany the champion on their journey in order to help them find it.

Elder Kami: [Retired Shinobi Position]

Elder Kami are the individuals who grant each of the members of the religion access to it's scripture and were at one Kami themselves and instruct those who would become Kami or any of the other positions.

RELIGION HISTORY

Founded hundreds of years ago in Sky Country this religion was formed after a fabled wanderer made his way to what was now known as the Sky Temple in search of the fabled sky dragon and upon meeting him was told that if he wished to receive his gift he needed to sacrifice his chakra and pass a test.

And so after placing his hand on the sky temple altar the shinobi’s chakra was relinquished to the sky dragon and split into 7 magic stones that were spread across the world. Before the shinobi was sent off on his task he was given a task. "The stones are not seen they're felt." while cryptic the man heeded his words and went off in search of the stones at first it felt futile but as he made his way through the world would eventually find that he could sense them as they got closer the traces of his chakra growing stronger as he neared one.

After completing the dragon gods quest, The dragon made good on his promise and granted the shinobi whatever wish he desired growing impressed with his sense of adventure. "If you ever wish to perform this trail again return to me." once his chakra was returned to him he was given a scroll that would allow him to return to his alter where ever he wished.

Having heard of this legend, other members of the same ilk all sought the sky dragon in hopes of having their own wishes granted, how not many faired well. This upset the dragon not wanting to waste his prowess on those who did not have the proper fortitude and began to instill rules those who choose to have their wish granted must then also become his followers. And once they've completed their trail they will determine who is worthy enough to take advantage of his gifts.

These became known as Kami, mystics who would travel to small hamlets and villages seeking adventures to partake in the Sky Dragon's trails. But before doing so the Kami must determine whether or not the individual is deemed worthy based on a series of trails that exemplify traits that the dragon finds appealing, if the Kami is pleased with their champion they will then begin the ritual and disperse their chakra and travel with the champions in order to guide them to the site where the orb is located. However if the champion perishes at any point. The chakra will be returned to the Kami and the former champions will be left to their own devices. This leaves a bad mark on the Kami and if they receive 3 they will be banished from returning to the sky temple and relinquish their status as Kami.

RELIGION ABILITIES

When a member of the Divine Dragon religion first begins their studies they must sacrifice the chakra to the sky dragon and in turn will be granted the ability to craft dragon stones which contain the power of the Sky Dragon that was offered to them in exchange for their chakra. Using these stones they are able to grant a series of wishes however the number of wishes they can grant is limited to their rank.

  • Kami's Abilities:

Kami's Wish:

Using this ability the Kami is able to perform a ritual that allows them to summon the sky dragon using dragon stones, when this ritual is complete the Kami is able to grant the wish of the individual who called forth for their assistance, but must be possession of the dragon stones that allow them to do so, however the power that the sky dragon affords them in dependent on their rank and they can only channel him every so often. And after the channeling is done then the dragon stones are released and left dormant for a period of 3 months. These wishes and the rules for how they're champion goes about completing their task are created by the player.

Genin: 1 wish

Chunin: 2 wishes

Sp.Jounin: 3 wishes

Jounin: 4 wishes

E.Jounin: 5 wishes

Wish Examples:

Potential Unleashed:

Using the power of the dragon the Kami has the ability that allow them to unlock the potential of others allowing them to grant a user a called "Potential Unleashed" which grants the user an immeasurable increase in power allowing them to Increase the power of a pre-existing SA, by one rank. but can only be granted once per character and the Kami cannot use it on themselves.

Immortality:

Using the power of the dragon the Kami has the ability to extend one's life and allow them to become immortal making it so that they do not age and cannot be killed by normal means, however this does not prevent them from being injured and if inflicted with poison while there body will not die they will continue to suffer whatever debilitating effects that come with it. This also does not turn back the clock on their aging it simply keeps them at their current age without allowing them to get any older. This can only be granted once.

Youth and Vigor

Much like how the dragon has the ability to make one immortal they also have the ability to make one much younger allowing them to regain their youth and vigor thus making them spry and add an extra pep in their step. But sometimes one may want to gain wisdom and experience and can also request to be made older. Allowing the user to change their age at any point. This Wish can be granted multiple times

A thirst for Knowledge

In addition to being able to wish for strength, power, youth and vigor the Kami can also grant one the gift of knowledge allowing them to learn anything that their heart desires with this the user is able to gain An additional SA However this wish can only be granted once and the user must be able to Posses the ability to earn the SA If you've already maxed out on 10 SA's you cannot wish for an eleventh.

  • Kami's Ascent

An ability that is shared amongst all Sky dragon members is Dragon's Ascent which allows them to move through the air, making them far more mobile than others when in the air, but can only take advantage of it in short bursts when on the ground. When not in combat they're able to fly great distance over a matter of hours. This ability is primary for Kami's to be able to defend themselves and isn't sustainable for long period of time as it drains a great deal of chakra.

Religion Laws: I feel these are written as though for everyone and not just the devote gifted. Are you sure you want to exclude them from wars? Especially if you're trying for all these abilities. I could easily see the conquest of an enemy to a nation or whatever risking the religion and Kami, so wouldn't they want their champions to interfere the enemy or assist the force they're allied.

Religion Structure: This should really just be role within the religion, it shouldn't be really structuring their powers that should be all in abilities.

Religion Abilities: Due to the versatility of the vague abilities they'd need more explanation and I'd need examples of clearer limitations.

That stated, I am very uncertain I'd be willing to allow all these abilities to the religion. The part I think works the best and for the narrative reason you'd originally desired is the Kami. I think explaining how the whole process works for wishes would be best, as this is the most unique feature of the religion and shows the most capability.

Your healing ability I feel just shouldn't be apart of the religion, there's medical shinobi that can pretty much fix whatever and these Kami's wouldn't want to be on the field risking themselves most likely.

Potential Unleashed: Again this would need more fleshing out and have much clearer limitation in the boon, which would want to be related to the rest of the religion.

Dragon's Roar: This just has an effect on others within a range, the explanation and ability to resist or combat isn't there. This is simply too powerful through lack of explanation to be allowed as it stands.

Kami's Ascent: This once again gives just a huge power boon, on top of other amazing abilities.
