Konsho stood patiently within the paradise of the home of the Apes, breathing deeply as he held the bracelet his mother had given him in his hands. Ever since the incident during training, Konsho had been afraid of the bracelet. Calcifying before your own eyes was one hell of a way to remind you just how easy it was to die. To fail. So now he wore it significantly less. Hell a couple times, he 'accidentally' forgot it. She was having none of that.

But that was irrelevant. He needed to do this. He had made a deal, not just with Midori- his own mother, but also with the apes of his home. He and Taki were effectively tied together now. So their progression was also tied. With yet another deep breath, Konsho would grip a large stick he held in his other hand. Today is simple meditation. Normal chakra absorption through meditation. Nothing else. Just focus and it will be fine.

For now, he'd wait for Taki. He'd noticed she wasn't good at the whole... meditation thing. In fact the only reason she made it this far with the help of her summon. But if she needed her summon every time even when doing basic meditation, that would prevent her from getting to her goal. He was better at the mediation part... although not the... not... dying... part.

With another breath, Konsho would lower his hood and remove his visor, looking around to see if Taki had arrived yet. The sun was going to set soon.

Well a deal was a deal, Taki had made a promise to Midori that she was going to play nice with her and Konsho, and after her little outburst once they got here she was on thin ice, but after their most recent conversation things were a bit clearer. And if she wanted to get better she was going to need to work with Konsho so that the two of them could get better together she was going to motivate him and he was going to motivate her.

Today they had planned to meditate together but Taki had arrived first but given the nature of how they needed to meditate the girl was going to leave the good majority of her clothing at home and get closer to nature so today she was going all natural. No makeup, no hat, and no jacket. Just her and her leotard something about it was kind of freeing she arrived on one side of the waterfall opposite of Konsho’s location.

She’d only ever seen things like this in pictures and in books the waterfalls roar was so loud she couldn’t hear herself think. And as she approached it the girl would take a seat beneath it letting the water hit in the head as the water poured into her leotard from there she’d hone in on the device that was on her arm attempting to attune herself to it’s sage energy.

Not realizing how much of her was actually…exposed.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

[Wrestling Genius]

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

Konsho was a bit more relaxed once Taki had shown. They could start their training now. Letting the bracelet slip onto his wrist, Konsho would remove his cloak and visor completely. Taking a deep breath, Konsho would finish with removing his shirt before he approached the falls. Many things had changed physically for Konsho, even if he was mostly a slightly more calm version of his younger self emotionally. Almost all of these changes could be attributed to the passage of time, but hus torso was a different story. Konsho had actually managed a good amount of muscle in the month between his and Taki's schoolyard bought, and with the weeks back in his more physically active home it had grown from there. Lean muscles covered his body- and though he hadn't noticed he had gained a four pack in his abdomen. Most notable however were bruises and scars.

Konsho wasn't even conscious of most of the bruises, gained from close calls and accidents in sage training. Most scars however were from past injuries- namely fights where he was easily over powered- and surgical scars. If Taki looked closely, she might even see faint scars on Konsho's ankles from the avalanche incident. But Konsho's mind was not on this at all.

No Konsho's mind was focused moreso on the fact that he girl he was silently head over heels with was wearing notably less today. True so was he, but Konsho wasn't Narcissus and he was used to wearing as little as possible. This was Taki. Bad ass. Strong. Confident. In only a leotard… that was now wet… Welp. That's a new image.

Shaking his head, Konsho would refocus on the task at hand. Sitting next to Taki- and wincing slightly as the water applied pressure to aching muscle and bruise alike, Konsho would focus on breathing as calmly as possible. He'd done this part before. The small amounts of nature chakra was easy to balance. It was the later stages that scared him. For now though it was deep beating and meditating… aaand trying not to glance at Taki too often.

As the girl took her seat ready to begin her meditation the girl would watch him come towards her noting that he’d take off his shirt. "Hoo, look at you muscles, puberty sure glowed you up.” she’d say taking note of the noticeable change in muscle tone that the boy seemingly had. She’d never actually seem him with his shirt. It was a nice sight, something about it made her feel fuzzy she was happy to see him like this.

"You look like you’ve been taking care of yourself.” she’d say a calm tone in her voice. as he took his seat seeing him so cut reminded her of home to all the boys she grew up around and how it shaped her way of thinking. It made her smile, a pleasant memory. "Keep it up.” she’d say. Taki had always worried about Konsho that he was so fixated on improving that he wasn't taking care of himself.

As the waterfall ran across her back she'd have a little trouble focusing and look over at Konsho. "What is it...somethin up?” she’d say glancing over at him noticing that he kept peeking in her general direction, it was kind of weirding her out.

Compliments. That was not very common fron Taki. The closest he had gotten to this in the past was: you fight good. Another notable change was Taki's tone. Even when serious she wasn't this calm or even toned. It was oddly relaxing. Usually he was struggling to keep up with her energy. "Well, I do have you to thank for kicking me into shape." Konsho would comment with a chuckle. Had he thought about it, he probably would have realized it was a bit insensitive to make light of a past bought, but Konsho had moved past the incident a while ago.

Konsho could feel his awareness of his surroundings return again. Even under the roar of the waterfall, Konsho could feel the world around them. Perhaps that was why they were meditating under it? His senses were sharpened. Birds were nearby. Likely preparing to calm down as night came in. A snake was near by, a huge one. Constrictor. Hiding in a tree a few meters away. It wasn't going to intrude. The sun was beginning to set. Reptiles didn't like the cold. His muscles were loosening, which meant he'd have to put more effort into remaining still.

Then the sensory showed him Taki again. Opening his eyes slightly, his sight was instantly drawn to her. She was wearing wraps. Did she get hurt? No, Riku would have been needed, and Konsho had been around him a lot recently, trying to learn medical knowledge from him. Bindings? But.. why would she need those? As she looked over, Konsho would face forward. He made it awkward didn't he?

As Taki questioned him, Konsho seemed puzzled. Why was he looking at her so much? The question stuck with him. But he didn't want this to linger. "it's nothing."

As the girl would go back to her meditation she'd keep her eyes slightly peeled looking over at him. "You sure...? It don't sound like it?” the girl would say rather inquisitively as if she were prying for information. "We're you checking me out...?” the girl say as she attempted to go back to her meditation.

She'd shut her eyes and attempt to focus but couldn't help shake the feeling that Konsho was hiding something from her, and then she thought about it and a horrifying thought crossed her mind after a moment befote mentally the only thing she could think was. "Eww..." she didn't see Konsho in that light and certainly never would but if her hunch was right she needed to nip this in the bud before it got worse.

"Konsho...if we're gonna be workin togetha I'm gonna need you to be straight with me, I ain't gonna train witcha if you can't keep it in ya pants, we're you checking me out...!" she'd say her voice having a little bit of gruffness behind it. "I ain't gonna hit ya...I promise." she'd say adding the little cherry on top to at least make it feel a lot more calm about coming forward with his feelings but deep down she REALLY hoped she was wrong.

It was hard to think at this point and she needed to know the sooner this elephant in the room got addressed the better and at least get rid of the awkward remnants in the air, her father told her this might happen to her someday but she was ready but of all the times, did it have to be with Konsho mentally she wanted to groan but she was hear now, so there was only one thing to do. But hey who knows maybe she's wrong and it's all a big misunderstanding. Or she's right and these two were in for one hell of an awkward talk.

"Look when I said I liked ya new look I was just saying you were one o da boys..." the girl would add trying to better clarify her statement. "You and me...we just don't work...I...I'm not into boys like dat." she'd say trying to let him down easy. "I sorta thought you knew dat." she'd add as a rather convenient rainbow would appear behind her head as she finished her sentence.

Well this was awkward Taki didn't really know how to recover from that. "You know all those letters I've been writing, they've uhh been going to my goilfriend, I didn't think I'd have ta explain dis too ya if I'm bein honest." Konsho would stare for a short while, as if his brain was processing what she said. Like one of the boys? Did she have a friend group of just boys? Strange way to identify the group. Then again Konsho could count his friends on one hand, so perhaps he just lacked experience in having friend groups. His head would only turn more as she explained she wasn't into boys. Konsho would burst out laughing. A deep and strange laugh, one that Taki never really saw. It seemed to go slowly from stressed, to ironic, to outright joyful. It... made no sense in reaction to what Konsho had just been told, even he knew that. He should feel hurt. Or sad that yet another hope had been dashed. He was still on the second step of sage training, properly removing nature chakra without the need to have it beaten out of him. "It's best to focus on something where it's easy to relax. Something where thoughts pass by and the only thing there is you." Konsho would explain, as he knew most people didn't meditate in general, and seemed to think of it as a disguised nap. As the boy would make a remark about helping her learn more about the aspect of meditation. "Nah I got that part down just fine…she’d say.” her mind harkening back towards the Konoha shinobi who’d she’d yet to face.

The girl had a great deal of rage against the nation for what they did to her family and it was this rage that was the basis of her reason for becoming a sage. And she would use that to sublimate her anger keeping herself focused on it whenever she transformed.

Her words when spoken had a degree of venom and vitriol behind them making it evident that, that learning to meditate was already out of her focus. Whenever Taki meditated her image was clear; a pane of class that was slowly broken the more she gathered her energy and when it finally reached it’s apex it shattered into it’s monstrous form.

With that the girl would seemingly go silent and begin meditation. A stern scowl on her face. The girls rage washing down as she focused her chakra. "I think da key to sage mode is focus…and for me that focus is anga, I'm gonna make them pay.” despite being wrathful she was somehow rather calm it would seem her technique was working.

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.

Konsho would continue to watch as Taki kept trying to meditate. Sure, of all people Konsho didn't have room to talk about sage mode advice. But he knew meditation hands down. "Just… please be careful. Aki Aki isn't here." Although entirely focused on Taki, Konsho's perception around him was still enhanced by the sage energy he had gathered. Seemed keeping the bracelet in his hand didn't stop its process- just slowed it. He could feel the edge of what he already experienced- and just barely made out chakra. Soon he was gonna hit the threshold. Hopefully he'd have nothing to distract himself. He'd need his full attention to get back.
