The time seemed to fly faster than Arashi had realized, and there was still nothing in terms of words or signs. It would be a lie to say that she wasn't worried, but there had been nothing in terms of months in terms of the team that had gone out. Normally, such actions would result in either declaring them missing in action or killed in the line of duty. But she wasn't willing to give that kind of thinking any kind of place in her mind.
Not when it had him on it....
Yet, she wasn't one for waiting for bad news and even her own efforts had been left with nothing to go on. Traveling out in the desert for weeks, her own escort along with her. It was a wonder that people didn't come searching for her. But this was her home, her kingdom, her natural element. If anyone could find a missing party, it would be her....Who else could?
The Saeko had not seen a travel party, only merchants, and those that came their way had not noted a team with any issues. It was possible that they may have gotten lost. It would be a common trait for him to do so....right?
Coming into the Kage Manor, ascending the stairway in her poncho, the young commander would approach her office in much of a hurry as she made her way to her desk. As Nai followed after her, another figure would move in behind them, closing the door.
"Jounin Hancho...We have many reports awaiting your approval...With your latest departure, it has been difficult for the council to..."
"Not now....just...put em over there...I'll get to em..."
It was clear the girl was on a mission...her mind moving a mile a minute as she examined the laid out map, Nai standing beside her as she looked over each area. She had covered most of it in a matter of months. But still nothing? No traces, no trails, no leads...She had gone as far as the border for obvious reasons. But that was still much of Kaze no kuni covered.
"Lady Arashi...The Kazekage also has noted your behavior and requested that you..."
"Then take a DAMN MESSAGE KIKO!! Take a message to him and tell him I'm fine! Same with the Council since I'm bettin half of what ya got to say relates to back and forth!"
Looking upward at the young woman, her eyes narrowed as a small glimmer of gold overlaid her vision. The cold stare would remain until she allowed herself a chance to breath.
"Sorry...I'm sorry...just...just let them know that I will meet with them as soon as possible...thank you..."
The shinobi assistant would nod, clearly startled by this brief moment and quickly shuffling out of the room. This would leave Arashi alone, or at least partially.
As she began to remove her poncho from her attire, her hair would be clearly glazed over by traces of sand, allowing her to sigh as she shook her short strands free of it, only for them to move upon the surface of her face and bend themselves into it.
Emotional Moment"Don't give me that look...."
Nai was staring at her, her eyes longing for a moment of pause for her to notice her. Yet, after the years of being with the noble wolf, it was clear when she was clearly probing her for truth. Her eyes may have lost some shades of light to them, but the old hound was not blind yet. She knew the girl had lied.
"He's out there...I'll be fine once I know for sure...people go missing all the time in the desert...he just got lost...thats all...typical..."
Sitting herself down, Arashi would close her eyes as she removed the tiara from her brow and placed it upon her desk. She was honestly tired...but she wasn't ready to just lay down and stop searching.
He wouldn't stop lookin for me...In remembering this, she'd rise back up and begin looking over the make at her desk again. There were still places that needed to be searched and with a pin, she placed a mark where she'd be going next. Retrieving her poncho, she'd prepare to make her way out the door again, looking around to make sure she had what she needed. Inspecting her gear as she summoned her gourd to also be sure it was filled.

Ultimate Defense
A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike.
