[Gure, Okingshi]

Hyuniwa flushed and obviously stressed, rushed around the untidy, disorganised apartment. She was never a great home maker and the current state of her abode clearly showed this. Hurrying into the kitchen she began tidying it, rearranging the furniture and setting up for a guest, working around Okingshi as he studied an encyclopaedia of mushrooms. Once she'd placed a platter of fruits, mushrooms, cheeses and sliced meats onto the table she grabbed a broom and started sweeping the dusty floors. Okingshi paid little attention to her, as he was engrossed in the content of the book. As his mother swept, she mutter "You could at least help a bit, Okingshi!"

Still paying attention to his book, without even looking Okingshi grabbed a mushroom from the platter and started to nibble causing the woman to slap it out of his hand. "Hey" he exclaimed as his turned to his mother in response. "If you're not going to help, you could at least go down to the gate and meet our guest" she replied.

"Who is it?" Okingshi groaned. "Go and see" she replied. Okingshi nodded and unenthusiastically did as his mother told him. Taking his time to put his book away into his waist pouch, he slowly made his way out of the apartment. As he stepped outside with the soil beneath him, Okingshi sunk into the ground. Using his kekkai genkai, Okingshi travelled the distance between their apartment and the gate, pushing himself and finishing the journey in a personal best time.

Arising from the ground just near the gate, Okingshi walked the rest of the way, being sure to let the gate guards know of his presence. Walking through the village gates and standing at the entrance, Okingshi waited. He wasn't sure who he was waiting for, or when they'd arrive so he pulled his book out and returned to the page he was reading earlier.

[Gure Yuuta]

Si Monumentum Requiris, Circumspice. Nohara no Kuni, a vibrantly green, lush landscape with a different sense of whimsicality than Yuuta was used too back home. Although, back home wasn't really far away… Nohara was its own place within the world boasting several unique travel destinations The Jounin hoped he'd get the chance to visit. He had used migration for the majority of the journey, however now that he had made it to the outskirts of Kusagakure, Nohara's hidden village. The Jounin decided to move above ground as normal people would, walking in his usual aimless manner. Gure Yuuta of course wasn't the only foreigner, or native along the main road either. People from all over Nohara, and Nohara's allies walked the same beaten path as Yuuta did today. Merchants, shinobi, big-wigs and a few politicians, the usual rabble who were looked upon as important by civilians. Yuuta thought differently though, these people were the most common of common folk. He did acknowledge that a few of them held some sway in "what's what's" in whatever village but true power in this Shinobi world; as far as Yuuta was concerned, was information and of course remaining unknown… or well… keeping your own information from the eyes of others. Yuuta didn't have the luxury of the latter during this excursion however. He was on official clan business to meet the Gure family that settled within Nohara's Kusagakure. "Was it a couple Months ago… maybe a year or two ago? Shit I don't know. I hardly believe in the concept of time… only battles and war is time really needed anyway" Yuuta said to himself walking the main street, while trying to recall the last time the Gure had become whole again. The various Gure families had come together to commemorate their young becoming Genin. It was an age-old tradition to keep alive the will of their ancestor Gure before them. A will that was to ensure the survival and identity of the clan as a whole. The ancient Gure wanted these two facts their identity and survival to remain intact even when the different families don the crests of their various homelands, when they've become separated by invisible borders, which ironically meant little to the Gure, or simply strained by time as the varying families would eventually be broken off for generations. They'd of course nestle within every corner of the world however some places were hostile to another. Nevertheless, every single one of them were Gure, and like the Fungi of the world the Gure clan should never cease to exist. The rejoining of the Gure clan as a whole during this brief moment was not only to commemorate their young becoming official shinobi but to also remember this will of the first Gure families who separated to continue their history. It didn't take him long to gain entrance into the hidden grass, after all he was Head of Konohagakure's Gure clan branch and Jounin of the Hidden leaf. Feeling like a tourist, Yuuta decided to try and not stick out like a sore thumb but also let whoever was sent to meet him know that he was well… him. Most people around the man either simply went along to their destination or held up signs with their names or whatever business-like entity's name drawn on it to signal their greeter. Yuuta decided to do the same but rather than a sign he'd grow a cute, almost toy-like, deeply colored purple mushroom in the palm of his hand and stood there. Holding it out for anyone to see and then for them to come acknowledge him. "Mushroom anyone? purple shroomish friend? No takers? Fun guy for fun guy? No? No one? Sheesh this crowd is difficult"

He basically created a Funko pop doll mushroom lol. It's cute with small cute eyes and a tiny mouth. It'll try to nibble everyone though. Yuuta will ignore this and think everyone is lying about his Lil pal

• Symbiont Genetics:
  Due to the Gure clan's Genetic Make up sharing similarities to Fungi, the clan has developed the ability to merged their body with flora and the earth itself. Yuuta's prowess in this ability allows him to gain entrance into some of the most secure strongholds undetected. Even with his large chakra pool, Yuuta can only be sensed by elite sensor Shinobi. While no where near the likes of time-space ninjutsu in terms of speed, Yuuta's skill with this ability allows him to move extremely fast when merged. Being able to move faster than the average taijutsu specialist or otherwise walking/running. The max range he can travel is 10 kilometers before needing to emerge.
• Shinkin no Sōsa | Fungal Manipulation
  Gure Yuuta is one of the most dangerous Gure clan members to be born in his generation. While his Fungi jutsu aren’t geared towards a specific type, like poisonous shrooms. Yuuta has completely mastered his clans abilities. Being able change his battlefield in a moment's notice or decimate his opponent with decomposing mold. Due to Yuuta's immense chakra supply, he is easily able to increase the size of his mushroom jutsu or create more Fungi than average Gure Shinobi. It is this reason that he was chosen to be the leader of the clan’s Konoha family.
  
• Enhanced Chakra Supply
  The amount of chakra Yuuta’s body contain has always been unbelievably large. With the amount he has Yuuta can to use more jutsu than the average Shinobi. Additionally, his Gure jutsu also benefits from the size of his chakra supply in that he is capable of rearranging an entire battlefield and still be able to fight his opponent efficiently. Because his chakra amount is so large and unruly, Yuuta chakra control is average at best.
  
• Madness of Knowledge
  One of Yuuta's greatest embarrassments; his curious nature is also one of his oldest and strongest abilities. He has gained a vast knowledge of fundamental and unorthodox Shinobi skills. Including combat tactics used during old conflicts such as First Shinobi World war. Over the years Yuuta devoured any information he could get his hands on and did so until he was able to apply this knowledge within his ninja career and his fighting style. That said he is exceptionally intelligent and uses his knowledge to creatively utilize his abilities and think up strategies. Because Yuuta is a nerd who likes "bad ass” abilities; he has gained general knowledge on other countries, their Shinobi and the common abilities they usually use.
• The Art of War
  Due to Yuuta intelligence and love for wartime history. He has become an extremely skilled strategic genius. Using the information he's gathered on past conflicts in the world and the general knowledge of the modern Shinobi nations. Yuuta is able to create strategies and plans several steps ahead of his opponent. He can elaborate strategies from different traditions and a variety of cultures and apply them not only in battle, but all activities that involve intellect. Additionally, he can predict possible obstacles a mission or village will present or the opportunities the venture would open up. Yuuta usually knows what the best actions to take in a situation, allowing him to adapt and prepare for any situation that may occur and handle it effectively. Yuuta macabre personality also plays a part in this side of him as he is not above using tactics deemed immoral in today's age

The book, particularly the sections containing descriptions of poisonious mushrooms kept Okingshi preoccupied while he waited. He sat there for just over an hour fixated on its contents, but to him it felt like only minutes. Fliping the page, Okingshi saw a beautifully hand drawn picture of a tubular like mushroom. Another drawing of his mother's doing, he thought to himself; this was her personal encyclopaedia after all. Before her retirement, she had a knack for it, her indexes were famous among the Gure. As he read the mushrooms description and toxicology, he heard a voice. A voice that sounded slightly familiar and talking about mushrooms of all things. He lowered the book and turning his gaze to the voice. "Oniisan! Yuuta!" Okingshi said as he jump up off his feet and waved to the man.

Putting his book back into his waist pouch, Okingshi rushed over toward Yuuta. Not sprinting too fast but still with enough haste he had to physically dodge the other visitors, tradesmen and whomever else blocked his path. As Okingshi was within reaching distance he lept up to Yuuta's height, hugging him as the two impacted. "Its so good too see you" Okingshi exclaimed as he tighten the hug.

Okingshi didnt want make Yuuta uncomfortable so he let go quickly after, giving the man some space. It had been awhile since they saw each other after all. And the last time they did, it wasn't on the best of terms. Okingshi's memory of then is a little hazy but it was just after he and his mother fled her abusive husband to live in Kusagakure. His mother telling the other clan members she wanted to keep Okingshi away from the formalities of the clan, which caused him to miss out of the genin ceremony. Nevertheless Okingshi was happy to see him.

[Gure Yuuta]

The Star-Seed Yuuta wasn't waiting long for the Kusagakure shinobi he were to meet, in fact the person he was supposed to meet was already there waiting on him. However, he wasn't expecting it to be the genin he had the pleasure of meeting not too long ago; how could he forget such a guy anyway. During the Gure clan ceremony, this guy had stood out amongst the many newly appointed genin. How could anyone not remember him, Yuuta had snuck away from the adults during the ceremony back then just to get to know Okingshi a bit without the adults prying or making everything political. His greeting however did take the man by surprise; "oomph, wow hold on there! I wouldn't want you to fall and hurt yourself… or me" Yuuta said, spinning around due to the genin's momentum, the Jounin managed to catch and latch onto the young Gure as they spun around, keeping his balance as they did. "It's good to see you Okingshi! I'm glad it's you who came to greet me and not one of the big wig mushroom lovers. So, where too? You know we can go get settled in at your place and then you could show me around a bit? It's been forever since I've visited Kusagakure" the Jounin said, moving the young genin to his shoulders, before walking down the main road is Kusagakure. "So which way is it? Or should we race there using migration?" Yuuta asked Okingshi who was now sitting on his shoulders and could see over the crowd that had formed near the hidden grass's gates. Then suddenly, a deep horrendous rumble reverberated from Yuuta's gut through his body and out into the waking world. A chuckle left the man's mouth before he'd cleared his throat, "hehehe uhh maybe we could get a bite to eat on the way too?" He'd add.

"You too, Yuuta! I can't believe you're here!" Okingshi joyously replied. For a moment he paused, wondering to himself who Yuuta meant by 'big wigs', maybe he was referencing that aunty his mother was always avoiding lately.  Then he continued his reply "Mother's been expecting you. She's gone all out for your visit."

Okingshi was a bit surprised when Yuuta lifted him onto his shoulders. It took a moment for him to adjust to his new predicament, but eventually felt comfortable there. From his new vantage point, he could see the busy streets bursting with energy and life, something he'd usually miss out on; he was always either studying inside or out training around this time.

As the two walked through the village gate, Okingshi quickly raised his arm and pointed with his index finger, directing Yuuta to a small two storey building only three hundred meters or so away. "That's where we live, just above that grocery."

At that point Okingshi was interrupted by a noise. The rumblings of Yuuta emtpy stomach reverberated through Okingshi. "You're hungry Oniisan? Mothers only put out some snacks, and it's best you avoid her cooking, not even the stray cats can stomach it. Let's find a place to eat" Okingshi said as he motioned Yuuta toward the restaurant district.

We Are Many We Are Legion

I am what time, circumstance, history, have made of me, certainly, but I am also, much more than that. So are we all.

"Hehehe, my stomach can wait. Let me first greet Kusagakure's family head. I wouldn't want to offend after all she's done for my arrival. Then I'm all yours" Yuuta said casually. Walking to the first building Okingshi had pointed to, Yuuta decided to take heed of the younger Gure's warning about his mother's cooking. "How about you go up and tell your mother I've arrived. I just need to get some things from the grocery store"

Yuuta popped into the grocery store that sat beneath Okingshi's home. He'd quickly grab a few things, Henchops, Mac n cheese, broccoli, a few fresh spices and a lollipop for okingshi. Afterwards, he'd pay for his items and walk back to the front of the building. Luckily Yuuta had finished his shopping just in time to meet Okingshi at the front of the building, he'd smile and raise up the candy he had purchased for Okingshi. "Not until after you've had your lunch or um dinner? What time is it anyway? Shall we head up then?" He proposed to his younger compadre, not wanting to keep his mother waiting.

Yuuta hoped that she would allow him to honor her as well by cooking the both of them, Okingshi and his mother a home cooked meal. Having spent a majority of his life within the orphanage, then going on to become headmaster up until recently, Yuuta had gained an amazing degree of cooking skills, making him a natural in the kitchen. "Oi! Oi! It's been a while Kusagakure Family Head" Yuuta said, beginning his greeting and their time together with formalities, until he'd be given the okay to relax. After all, he was a guest in the woman's home, he didn't want to disrespect in any kind of way.

[Gure, Okingshi]

Okingshi groaned at Yuuta's adamant attitude toward Gure formalities. His mother had never raised him to repect or engage in the rituals and expectations of the clan. However for his brother, he'd compromise this one time. "Eh, mother wouldn't be too worried, but if you insist Oniisan" Okingshi muttered.

As the pair arrived at the building, in one single motion Okingshi rolled backward and onto the ground. He listened to Yuuta's request to notify Okingshi's mother of his arrival and quickly ran up the stairway to the building.

"Mother, Oniisan is here!" Okingshi excitedly proclaimed as he forced the door to the families apartment open. His mother looked at him with a wide smile, her skin begun literally glowing with a bright luminosity unable hide her excitement; a strange quirk of her bloodline Okingshi hadn't inherited. "Tell him to come up here and say hello then" she replied. The light dimmed slowly, returning to normal as Okingshi turned around.

Okingshi rushed back down the stairs and into the grocer. After searching for Yuuta to no avail Okingshi stepped outside to see him holding a bag of food, ready and waiting to be let inside. Okingshi swiped the lollipop from Yuuta's hand and placed it in his pocket, smiling. "Thank-you, Oniisan!" Okingshi said.

Leading Yuuta up and into the apartment, Okingshi subtly coughed to get his mother's attention. The pale, white haired woman turned around with two water jugs in her hands as Yuuta greeted her. As she walked to the table to place them down, her purple dress caught on a chair causing her to stagger and spill some of its contents onto Yuuta. "Sorry" Hyuniwa exclaimed, blushing in embrassment as she quickly grabbed a towel to wipe the water off his shirt. "It has been too long, lovely. I've missed you" she added.
