A group of bandits, some of which had some shinobi training, were camped out at the contractor's destination; Toshi and Kizumi slipped in to dispatch the criminals and clean up the mess, securing the area for the contractors to come in, set up, and begin their work.

Though she herself wasn't personally capable of utilizing the Kenjin Nōdo style Kojirou was trying to train, her familiarity with weapons practice and a read-through of the scroll he was working off of was enough to allow her to tutor him through some of the basics of grasping the style. Once the training was done, she introduced him to the wonders of meditation and deep breathing exercises.
