A loser like you ain't got no guts!
After the morning transitioned into the afternoon Taki would spend it doing some meditation in the forest only to be met by Fudo.
"So what’s your opinion on him so far?” Taki who was trying to focus on her breathing found herself interrupted and turned only to see the long white maned gorilla approaching her and hearing his question prompted her to let out a sigh.
"Uh I'unno…he’s big, Midori was da one dat brought em here.” Taki’s response was rather simple; she wasn’t fully sure what they were looking for as an answer since she wasn't all that invested in him being here, Taki's job was to guide him and not much else she'd help out where she could but wasn't the most adept at gauging whether or not someone could handle being a sage.
"I shouldn't have expected anything less." he would respond.
"Ey, Midori said it was our job to help guide him, and if Midori says he’s worthy who am I to go against her woid.”after a moment Fudo would move around the girl.
"Be that as it may, I was expecting a more elaborate response was there anything you noticed about him that caught your attention?” Taki would raise her brow.
"Well he seemed kinda quiet I guess…but dats a good ting right?” the blonde would wonder looking back at him.
"Perhaps...I'm always rather critical of Midori's choices and was curious as to your opinion, also you should know the others would like an audience with him tomorrow." Taki thought about the first time that she had met Fudo for the first time alongside Midori and what kind of an experience that was, here's hoping he didn't make the same mistakes that she did.
"Oh yeah, I'll be sure wake him up bright and early." the girl would respond turning her head back to return to her meditation.
"And Taki...I know all about your adventures in Kirigakure and the boy you trained." hearing that would cause her to raise an eyebrow, and sigh she knew immediately who he was referring too and was going to have to give him a noogie for being a little tattle tale later.
"Dammit Aki.” the girl would say under her breath, before peering over towards the large bipedal gorilla.
"You guys ain’t mad are ya?” Fudo would cross his arms behind his back.
"That depends how much did you tell him.” he would ask his words having a knowing tone to them.
"I told him about the concept o meditation but dats it…” Fudo would nod.
"Good, proceed no further…he is too be taught by his own teacher and you are only to teach to those who you truly believe can become one of our apprentices.” Taki would nod to him.
"Why exactly is dat…?” she’d ask never really getting an answer from Midori.
"When a sage signs a contract with another sage animal, they are making a pact to learn their ways and their nature to learn the sage arts from another contract is an impossibility due to the nature of each transformation. To teach him the art of sage mode can result in the termination of your contract.” Taki now knowing that would feel a knot in the pit of her stomach not realizing the detriment.
"You of all people should understand how contracts work.” there was silence for a moment, Taki becoming somewhat perturbed by Fudo's platitudes.
"Okay Okay I get it! Now you gonna let me get back to my meditation o what...?" Taki didn't like being nagged but their compound their rules and she had to respect that.
"I'm not upset I just want to make sure you understand." he would add, after moment Taki's temper would quell for a moment.
"Sorry I've just been tryin to meditate for like a while now." With that Fudo would turn his back and make his exit leaving Taki to her own devices.
"Just, see too it that you bring him to us tomorrow for a more formal introduction into his future as an apprentice.” Taki would raise her thumb to him to let him know that he was heard, and would spend the next few hours meditating in the forest until nightfall.
