Kaede had decided to spend a little time away from the village in order to have a change of scenery, being the village sage allowed Kaede the freedom of coming and going as he pleased it had been a while since he had stepped outside the Land Of Lightning for anything hardly at all, it was probably a good thing for his health as he spent way too much time in the village doing hardly anything and it was becoming a sort of habit for the sage something he needed to break out of as soon as possible. It would honestly do him good a change of pace. The sage has traveled outside his own lands before and is well versed in the layout of the lands so there wasn't really a worry about him getting lost. So for now the sage headed out and would let his feet and his mind guide him on the path forward. Kaede currently dressed pretty normally except wearing his wolf cloak and his wolf mask to cover his face as tradition as a shinobi he still had to represent his village but at the same time had to avoid potential enemies, though the purpose of Kaede's trip was to relax and would prefer to keep his fists to himself.

After traveling for a time Kaede's mind and feet had brought the man to the Land of Fields, being in this country was a safe bet as well since it was allied with the village so things should be pretty smooth going forward. Walking along the path the man came to a crossing with a sign pointing to several directions, Kaede was deciding which way he should go as one direction pointed roughly in the direction of Kusagakure, another pointed to a local tavern, several leagues, away, but as Kaede attempted to read the other directions on the sign, he became detracted by the word tavern. Kaede has a particular fondness for drinking and the temptation was surely there. The man needed another distraction and staring at a sign with the word tavern on was surely not helping the sage that's for sure.
