Before he had a chance to thank Miyo he had to move again and it looked like she was having her own problems.  Moving and dodging he'd start running once more.  Trying to make some distance was gonna get harder especially with the lightning that started striking everything and one indiscriminately.  "Oh that's just overkill dude."  Zakku would say to no one and whistle for his clone.  He'd spin three fingers in a circle signaling his clone and keep trying to maintain his distance.

Weaving his hand signs the clone would place one foot in front of the other and feel the familiar rush of Raiton into his feet.  "Lightning Release: Grind Wire!"  Releasing the handsign a loud and thunderous thoom would sound as the clone Zakku would fire off with renewed speed easily dodging the lightning that struck where he stood.  The original throwing a few kunai he'd keep trying to escape the advancing mans kunai and the threatening lightning flinching as a tree exploded near him catching fire heat washing over the area as he shot off in a new direction just barely dodging another bolt.  

The clone would rocket towards the originals attacker his green eyes a focused and sharp.  The blue blur would attempt to slam himself and use his momentum to send the attacker into the barrier wall.  Giving the original time to use his own Grind Wire technique.

Jutsu used:
Raiton: Densen Kensaku [Lightning Release: Grind Wire]
Implying the user knows the water walking and tree-climbing techniques. By placing one foot in from of the other, as if tight-rope walking, one preforms the handsigns, focusing chakra into the soles of their feet, also emitting an equal amount of chakra into the ground. As the handsigns are released, the user lets the chakra stored in their feet to release, forming a tunnel-like static field, propelling them along faster than most humans can run. However, any obstacles slowly decrease the field, and any metal inside of the field easily cancels the technique. Note that it also doesn't work on water, and must be canceled for one to stand.

Ōnakayama Miyo The Mercurial Maiden of Sunagakure Their counterattack took down two of the enemy gang members in relatively short order. Truthfully, Miyo had hoped to take down a third, but even she wasn't perfect - try as she might. Zakku's attempt to help, as good as it may have been, gave the enemy an attempt to escape and they took advantage of it. Miyo lost track of the gang member who fled beneath the ground, and was puzzling over the most logical method of escape. He could have been particularly swift, and escaped her notice while she was distracted, thereby not alerting her by disturbing the mercury gas in the vicinity. He could have potentially rendered himself invisible, but she figured she'd get a 'feel' for him if that was the case. Teleportation was unlikely, but considering he disappeared in a smoke cloud, it was not impossible someone used reverse summoning.  Before Miyo could lock down his actual method of retreat, the gang member made himself known once again as he grabbed her ankles from below.  There was no way for him to know how that would go - not really. As soon as she felt his hands grab her, Miyo began forming hand seals. Even though she was pulled off her feet, she was able to maintain her composure enough. Miyo's mercury sprang into action, some slithered down his arms, removing itself from her body; her technique was typically designed to drag the enemy down into the ground and crush them, but he was already there, so instead her mercury compressed and twisted, pulverizing fingers and bones in his arms as it would quickly make its way down into the earth with him. Other mercury that had pooled in the area sunk into the ground, as if it were water after a storm, and before he could pull away, the gang member would find that Miyo's mercury was not deterred by the earth beneath her feet and he would likely meet a very unfortunate end.  If she was freed from his grasp, she'd get back to her feet and look to the sky. They had problems they needed to deal with, namely this electric storm.  Techniques Used: Suigin kōka [Mercurial Descent]

The Prajna forces were starting to meet their end rather quickly in their attempts at defending a man who had avoided his taxes. Of course, it was clear that this result was unavoidable...

As the assassin underground had attempted to grab the girl above him, his arms would begin to feel heavy the longer he dragged her along, suddenly collapsing in on themselves as bones cracked and the pain coursed through him and continued to crush him. In releasing the young maiden, his demise would be unseen, but clear by the lack of any further trouble from below the surface. It was quick to the rest, but for him it was agony for each and every second that passed....

In the case of Zakku and his clone, the assault had been capable enough to distract the two, but enough so that they could regroup in spite of it. Their movements were fast, making it challenging for him to attempt a continued assault upon the original Zakku. So when the clone came at him from the opposite side, the force of impact was great enough to push him, but not alone as he took hold of the clone and took it with him as they struck the barrier together. Feeling the surface of chakra and Raiton, the man would collapse within moments and succumb at last with at least the supposed accomplishment of taking the identical distraction with him.

This now seemed to only leave the Prajna leader, who was holding his ground as he stood over them upon the roof.

"Impressive...but you are still trapped fools! This barrier is not going to be removed easily...and I have no intention of simply allowing myself to surrender!!"

Lightning would continue to crash down around the two as it appeared as if he was indeed going to be their last opponent. His seal was preventing escape, and the lightning only continued to become more vigorous as it became less and less predictable and random in it's strikes. If the two were going to make it out of this, they would have to work together. Otherwise, they would be trapped here and they did not have much time to waste.

Meanwhile, Lento was finally finished with his preparation, looking toward the assassin for hire as the masked man watched the events in the distance. His leader was a brave man to remain, and so were his brothers in arms. But he had to complete this job....even if it meant that he could not be with them in the end.

"Come! We have no more time!"

In taking hold of the noble's arm, he'd begin to move him out of the hut and further into the woods as they ran forward toward the extraction point.

'Well at least he didn't temporarily exist for nothing.  This time.'  The blue haired chunin thought to himself feeling the chakra return with the memories of the clone.  It was always better to use the clones to try out the limits.  Picking up his pace just a bit more he'd return towards his teammate.  Silently thanking his recent training with his teammate he made a mental note to pick on her just a bit less when he got back to the village.  "Miyo open a door please!"  Yelling between booms he'd throw the last few of his kunai and shuriken to throw off the lightning that rained towards them.  Grabbing the dropped chain one of the attackers had used against him he'd wrap it around his arm and make a fist.  He only needed one shot,  Unsheathing one of his metal stakes he made a be line towards Miyo once more.  

If she opened a tunnel for him he'd rush out of the seal. Placing his metal stake and the end of the chain in the ground he'd slingshot himself towards the back of the property towards the masked man looking for the lord.  "I'VE GOT SOME MINOR COMPLAINTS ABOUT HOW YOU RUN THIS PLACE!"  He'd howl in anger his eyes aglow with murderous intent.

Ōnakayama Miyo The Mercurial Maiden of Sunagakure The barrier was problematic. It was a high level technique, and generally self sustaining for a period of time that they did not have. Even defeating the one who created it may not be sufficient to take it down. Miyo had to scratch her head at that. Getting out would be trouble. Zakku, however, seemed plenty ready to get out. Miyo could hold that against him, either. She was just as ready to move along, but without knowing more, she had to rely on guesswork.  "I can't guarantee anything," Miyo declared. After forming a series of handseals, Miyo directed a large batch of her mercury upwards to the top of the barrier where all of the lightning was gathering. "I suspect if I intercept the lightning at the Zenith, we will have just enough time so get out," Miyo explained as she rushed towards the edge of the barrier. "But if you get zapped, it's not my problem. Shouldn't kill you, either." And so, the giant blob of mercury wobbled up and into the very peak of the barrier where all the electricity came together. By blocking off the peak, Miyo hoped that the connecting barrier lightning strikes would be intercepted by her mercury. Unfortunately, she'd lose access to it for a time, but she was far from defenseless without it. "Let's go!" As soon as the lightning stopped - if it stopped - Miyo rushed through. This would indeed be the beginning of the end...

So long as the Prajna leader was able to detain the two within his field, he could easily allow for his subordinate to get through and allow for escape. Of course, the Mercurial Maiden and the Lightning Degenerate seemed to have come up with a way in which to delay some of the lightning within the field from passing through. It wasn't by much, considering the vastness of the field itself, but it was more than enough to clear the path to allow for Zakku to pass through, and to be followed by Miyo as they exited the front entrance.

With Zakku moving toward the back, and doing little to hold back his resentment toward the Prajna leader, the older male would swiftly move down to block his path yet again, having disappeared from view yet again as begun to blend into the forestry around them. In the youth's rush to try and locate the noble, his back would remain unguard as the leader swiftly performed a set to two seals, keeping to the shadows as he watched Miyo begin her approach as well.

For how, he'd simply watch them and remain in cover to prepare for what he had in store for the two next. For the time being, the lightning would continue to crash down around them, giving them little time to relax on their success, and all the more reason to find their target as a bolt struck down between the two.

The journey to the boat was nearing it's end. With Lento being dragged across the lanscape, looking around at his vast empire and knowing full well that he may never see it again, his escort would note the view of the gray-like cover behind them, realizing that perhaps his leader may be unable to maintain their escape path for much longer.

"Move it! We're nearly there!"

Pushing onward, the boat was now within view at the shoreline, causing the two to press on...

To say he was done with these people was more than an understatement.  Yelping as the lightning struck between the two Zakku would yank up the whip and his metal stake pulling his weapons back dodging the lightning.  Slinging the whip around his chest the blue haired shinobi started weaving his hand signs he'd summon a new clone.  "So new plan.  Let's get the lord and take an arm for payment.  That sounds like compensation enough to me."  Zakku yelled to Miyo as he and his clone would reach into their packs and remove a pair of smoke bombs.

Throwing the bombs creating a temporary screen from trees Zakku and his clone would switch the stolen weapon and sides.  Emerging from the smoke the original would throw a pair of his flash bombs into the trees as the clone sprinted into the trees.  Using the flash bombs as cover he'd sprint into the trees baiting the leader into attacking him and revealing himself to the pair of shinobi.  The original readying his metal stakes as he started to follow Miyo.  "Think you can get to the lord in time?"  Asking his teammate he was worried they were about to lose the man and even worse the mission.

Raiton: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Lightning Release: Shadow Clone Technique]
The user must know the shadow clone technique to perform this. After performing a technique unique hand seal, the user creates a shadow clone that is imbued with lightning chakra. This shadow clone functions exactly the same as a normal one, being able to use all abilities, techniques and skill sets that the user is able to. The difference is upon being defeated, it will transform into an electric state before latching onto a target within 1m of itself before zapping the target with hundreds of volts of electricity, stunning them temporarily.

Ōnakayama Miyo The Mercurial Maiden of Sunagakure Success had been achieved and the duo had made it through the barrier, but they were not in the clear by any means. They still had an objective to complete and the enemy was still hounding them, ensuring they'd be in danger if they just let him be. "As tempting as that is, it is not our place. We'll bring him back to Sunagakure," Miyo replied. "For now, we must deal with this remaining fool, and capture the lord who is undoubtedly on the move." Zakku was on the right page through. To achieve success they'd likely need to split up. Miyo was undoubtedly the stronger of the two, but Zakku seemed more intent on fighting the enemy. Miyo turned to him while collecting her mercury around herself. "I'm not confident on his location, but considering the direction they've attempted to retreat, I can make a few assumptions. I will do my best to catch them. You deal with this guy." She made to leave. "But don't be taking too many risks. He is still dangerous." And with that, she began the chase. If she lost track of the enemy, she could summon her faithful hounds to track them down, but she wanted to avoid that for now if she could.

While such a distraction was enough to keep the leader occupied, he did not without reason assume that this was a call for attack. For now, his position was safe, and if need be, he would strike when the need suited him. From the beginning, he had these two trained ninja on the ropes, there was hardly a care for him to engage when they could not see him. Yet as the smoke began to rise and the flashes of explosion drew closer, he'd find himself frustrated to have to move further into the woods, his body still blending into the green.

Yet, if one looked closer, they'd see the smoke rise and shift with his descent, unable to hide from the fog that was covering the area as he drew deeper into the bushes. Though as he heard, his plan to delay them was going to become much more difficult if the ash haired woman was allowed to venture out too far. With their position split, he'd have two targets in different directions rather than simply in one place.

As lightning flashed once more across the area, the Lead Assassin would make his move, appearing briefly as he began to draw out a single kunai and threw it in the direction in which he saw the two last. Of course, as he performed a single seal, a flash of light would indicate the change in size of the object, causing it to surge out like a massive tree as it purged through the forest as an attempt to knock Zakku and his clone off course.

"You wish to fight me boy? Come and fight then!!"

Miyo own path would begin to lead her in the direction of the river, but she still had much to make up for in distance, where as the two targets were now just coming up to the river side. With the last remaining guard shuffling the business mongal on board, he'd frown as he began to instruct him to paddle the boat, leading him down stream. Of course, in him leaving, this meant that he had to now prevent anyone from following.

Holding his ground, he'd watch Lento began to move the vessel, using his arms as much as he could as he was pushed out and sent from the shore. This was his last chance at escape and if he didn't make it...then there was no other way out of this. His manor, his people, his work, it would all be for nothing if he didn't get away. He could rebuild, but he couldn't do that if he was killed or locked away.

DESCRIPTION:
A rudimentary technique where the user inscribes a small seal upon any palm sized or smaller inanimate object. Once activated by a single ram seal the object expands exponentially in size based upon the amount of chakra the user puts into the seal. This happens only for a brief duration (1 post) before the object returns back to its original size in a puff of white smoke.

 Miyo Ōnakayama

Letting out a disappointed click of his tongue Zakku as he couldn't help but agree with Miyo.  They needed the lord alive but that changed his situation less.  Now he had to think of a plan and quickly.  With the leader fully focused on him and his clone, they had to give Miyo breathing room from this dude.  The original made a single handsign and began gathering his chakra.  He just needed the one shot.  He just needed to find the leader of the damned bandits.  

His clones eyes widened as the lightning struck illuminating the man briefly and the oversized Kunai he'd thrown.  "SHIT!"  The clone yelled flinging the stolen whip towards the original stopping him from gathering chakra but alerting him towards the kunai.  The clone continued it's advance as it maneuvered around the oversized Kunai.  Weaving a set of handsigns the blue haired distraction picked up speed easily and outpaced the original.

The original wrapped his hand in the whip and awkwardly made his handsign.  Following around the tree line Zakku easily dodged the kunai and struck.  Unwinding his stolen weapon Lightning Chakra surged through as Zakku began to whip it towards a tree just as his clone finished his handsigns.  With a flicker of movement the clone traded places with the original who's attack illuminated the whole area around it.  "Game over."  Zakku casually said as he cracked the improvised lightning whip at the leader ready to finish it as quickly as possible.

Jutsu used:
Raiton: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Lightning Release: Shadow Clone Technique]
The user must know the shadow clone technique to perform this. After performing a technique unique hand seal, the user creates a shadow clone that is imbued with lightning chakra. This shadow clone functions exactly the same as a normal one, being able to use all abilities, techniques and skill sets that the user is able to. The difference is upon being defeated, it will transform into an electric state before latching onto a target within 1m of itself before zapping the target with hundreds of volts of electricity, stunning them temporarily.

Kawarimi no Jutsu [Body Replacement Technique]
After performing the necessary hand seals (one post prior to the technique's use) and locating a nearby object within a 10 meter radius (typically a log or something of similar size to their body.), the user switches places with the said object just before an attack lands, creating an optical illusion. During the small interval where they have left their opponent surprised, they may take the time to attack or flee.

Ōnakayama Miyo The Mercurial Maiden of Sunagakure Miyo was rather swift. Not the fastest running the in the village by any means, but certainly quick on her feet, especially when she applied herself. Since catching the run away mogul was all that she had to do, she focused on speed more than anything else and just hoped that she was going to the right place to catch him. As she approached the river, she found a single guard waiting for her, but no sign of the mogul. At least, until she got closer. He was on a boat, paddling down the river. Not the worst thing to deal with, but it gave him speed that he likely wouldn't have normally had. Dealing with this Prajna gang member was the first priority. She gathered up a bit of her mercury and fired it at him. it was not flashy, but it was effective. A solid hit by it would put down most shinobi for at least a moment, if not break bones and smash organs. It wasn't impossible to dodge, but being that Miyo could control its trajectory, she never made it easy. "Surrender now and you can get away without trouble, but fight me and you will lose," Miyo declared. She didn't have much time to waste on him, but considering the strength of the others, she figured it wouldn't take long to dispatch him if necessary.

Though his attack appeared to be avoided the clear smoke that came from the direction in which his weapon had flown was indication of just what was coming. The boy was not as smart as he seemed to believe...

Yet, the clear sign of his coming approach, his flying frame surging in his direction, did not cause him to react or even so much as move from his position. He simply stood there, waiting for the arrival of Zakku's descent. His advance quick, but not to the point of the bolt that crashed down between them with enough force to blow him back. Holding his arm upward as to shield his vision, the assassin would lower it as he began his slow approach, preparing handseals as he imagined the impact would be enough to blast the child back and allow for some minor distance. It wouldn't be much, but enough as the thunder boomed over head.

"You are correct...the game is over...enough tricks...and enough games...boy!"


With his seals complete, he'd rush forward, faster than he had appeared before, drawing near to the target as he placed his hand upon his chest. From there, a seal would cross Zakku's chest before allowing vines to begin binding them in place.

The whistling of rushing wind was enough indication of an attack, and while it was near impossible for most to avoid such a projectile coming from the distance, The Handler was no stranger to such attempts, nor was he unaware of the possibility of an attack. If his Leader had gone so far as to bring down the lightning, that was a clear enough indication that things had begun to progress less so in their favor. It also meant...the high chance, that he was the last one standing...

In hearing the claim given by the pale skinned female that began her approach, the assassin would hold his ground before then narrowing his eyes. Though it appeared as if he may attack, there was a stillness as he glanced over and saw his employer struggling with their attempts at escape. Even on a boat, alone, he seemed incapable of even managing to save his own skin when so many had done so already. The lack of discipline, the clear showing of a man fat from his gain, it did not matter whether he lost it all, only that he continued to live.

Their group had been paid to do a job, but now...that seemed mute at this point...they had already been paid and with their numbers down, it meant that there payment would be split even more effectively between those that remained. If anyone remained.

Closing their eyes, he'd scoff before then making his way toward the opposite side of the river.


"Do what you wish...my job was done the moment he got on the boat..."

-Having made it to the boat, Lento is now currently paddling his way down river as a means of escape. Though now, it appears as if he is defenseless and struggling as he makes his way further.

DESCRIPTION:
A large seal extending from the palms of the user which must be planted onto the ground. Either a single seal to activate, or it can be done immediately. It can stretch for up to fifty meters, which rapidly will be reached in a few seconds of time. Once reached, the circular edge of the giant seal releases lightning at a steady pace. A strong surge of lightning is moving from the seal to a connecting point at the very top. A giant dome of lightning. The walls are incredibly hard to pass, those trying would suffer paralysis, intense shock and becoming disoriented. Excessive voltage, or forced entry can result in death. This field can naturally sustain for seven rounds maximum. A good capturing method.

DESCRIPTION:
The primary seal can be made prepared in advanced, hidden on the palm. Once applied during combat, and activated, the Ha Ne no Mahi, large, blocky lines glow red before spreading across the target’s body taking about one posting round to fully cover the target. Once the jutsu is complete, the opponent will find themselves good and well paralyzed, unable to move or talk, the only way to be let out from this jutsu, once completed, is to have the creator or someone skilled in seals undo it. Fortunately, a burst of chakra, such as from an equal level Kai, can prevent this jutsu from completing.

He finally had the man.  It was over.  Then the flash of lightning and the force of it shoved him back mid strike.  "KAMI DAMMIT!"  Zakku yelled as he was forced back dropping the whip.  His hand stung and he had no idea what happened.  He watched the man approach as if everything moved in slow motion.  This was it he was going to die.  Raising his arms up to attempt to ward off the blow when he was suddenly watching himself from beyond the trees.  His clone had reacted just as quick as him.  There was still hope.  Thinking up plans with others took longer than just him reacting by himself.  

His clone having seen the flashed performed the same jutsu replacing itself with it's original.  Reaching out he'd feel the seal move across his chest and smile.  Gripping the arm tightly the clone let the vines wrap him up.  "Don't act so shocked."  With the pun being said the clone was replaced with lightning as that leapt to the Leader unleashing the hidden chakra as the original began to run in the direction Miyo had gone.  This wasn't how the original wanted his fight with the original to end but it was how thing played out.  To say he was more than impressed by the leaders actions would be an understatement.  He wanted to grill him to get the technique the man had used but he had to check on his teammate.  The mission was a bit more important right now than getting his petty revenge for the man challenging them and hindering their mission.  Leaning forward he'd reserve what little remained of his chakra as he quickly made his way after Miyo and towards the dock.  "I really hate this guy.  Really, really hate this guy."  He said to no one as he attempted to catch up and end the mission.

Ōnakayama Miyo The Mercurial Maiden of Sunagakure Miyo had fully expected the remaining mercenary to put up a fight, but it seemed that he was not about to put himself in harm's way any longer. Miyo didn't fault him for him, after all, why put your life on the line for someone so undeniably vile and corrupt? Miyo recalled her mercury and coiled it around herself as she paused for a moment. The mercenary was leaving, and she let him go. It was not illegal to be a mercenary, so now that he was leaving well enough alone, Miyo had no reason to detain him, much less inflict harm upon him. If he and his comrades were to be saddled with crimes and ANBU sent to deal with them later, then perhaps they'd have a second encounter, but for now, he was free to leave. Miyo turned to the river, and to the boat that was traveling down stream. It was a hopeless situation. Outrunning her under those conditions was not possible - probably. She began moving along the bank of the river to get closer and once in range, would use her mercury to reach out and bind her target before dragging him back to shore. Hopefully, Zakku would be able to handle that remaining mercenary. She'd eventually get back to find him, but it'd be a bit yet.

There was perhaps nothing more embaressing than allowing for a target that had little chance of success to gain the upper hand. As the leader felt the surge of the clone's charge against him, his body would freeze and fall in shock to the ground. Struggling to shake off the effects, he'd watch as the real Zakku seemed to make his way into the woods after his companion, a sneer escaping his lips as he prepared to rise back up, only for the handler to appear beside him.

"Boss....let it go..."

Slamming his hand to the ground, he'd narrow his vision before feeling his frame being aided upright, his arm resting upon the shoulder of his teammate before spitting blood in the direction of the Sunagakure youth in his departure. This may have been the end for now, but there was no chance that this would be the last time the Prajna would be called, and next time...they would be ready.

"No no no...Please! Listen!"

Lento had his own problems to deal with, and as the mercury from Miyo wrapped itself around his body, the large male would shake his head while attempting to speak. His body was now back on shore, sadly looking on as his means of salvation floated on without him. As his gaze returned to Miyo, he'd plead his case in an attempt to perhaps sway some kind of release from punishment.

"You have to understand that I fully intended to pay back the village! No way that I would not have! I simply needed more time! I wanted to make sure that the profit gained would be large enough to show that such good faith was rewarded...."

It was faint at best, but the concept of him using this to delay possible execution was weakened by the distance appearance of Zakku before then shaking his head.

"See!? I knew you would be unable to be defeated by such a rabble. They...they threatened me....told me to pay them for protection and I had no choice!"

With these being his final words of excuse, it would appear the the mission to retrieve the business man had been successful, if not rung with the heavy reminder of how many people were killed in the process. If the man had any remorse, he might have felt some guilt. Though it appeared that he had only his own self interests in mind.
