Moyama was quite the city. While it had become rather run down since the plague, many of the tucked off corners of the place still suffering from poverty, or lack of proper supplies and resources, there still had been many areas of Tempest that could still be seen as quite scenic. The port town had a plethora of people hustling and bustling through out the streets being the largest port town in Kaminari no Kuni, and because of that it had a good handful of places to eat, drink, or simply catch your breath.

Daisuke had been staying in the town a day or two now, recently completing a mission with likely the only two people he could call his friends, oddly enough. While he was ordered to return to Kumogakure as soon as the job was done, he would of course push the envelope as much as he could and take some time to warm his spirit on the beach with drink in hand.

A deep breath entered his nostrils, small and familiar smirk on his face as his bare chest rose and fell, taking in the salty smell of the ocean not ten feet away from him. His hand reached over to his bottle of mango and peach juice, spiked with a small tinge of rum, bringing it to his lips to down the last sip. It was enough to make him tipsy exactly, but it was enough to redden his cheeks and give him a slight little buzz as he tried to relax the tension in his muscles.

"Wouldn't Kaede be so proud,” Daisuke said with a small chuckle. "Time for a refill I guess.”

His eyes fluttered open, leaning upwards as his knees rose, arms resting against them as he curled over to flex his back and shoulders. He'd prop himself up, stretching his arms up high and letting out a small groan as he wiped the daze out of his body before he stood, grabbing the bottle to toss in the near by recepticle. Along the way, though, he seemed to notice something that caught his eyes.

"The hell..?” Daisuke muttered to himself, squinting and rubbing his eyes to be sure if he was truly seeing what he thought he was seeing.

His eyes came back into focus, and sure enough his eyes did not mistake him. Walking through the crowd, there was a woman carrying a... Gourd? On her back? Quite intrigued, Daisuke would lose the thought of getting himself another drink and begin to tail the girl. He'd pick up the pace, his bare feet clapping slightly aginst the stone pavement now beneath his feet before he would soon notice that the woman had also wore a Sunagakure headband wrapped around her shoulder. Alright, now he was definitely curious.

Again, Daisuke would speed up, moving to a light jog as he eventually made his way beside the woman.

"Hey hey,” he said in a friendlier tone, his eyes shifting up and down her figure before he'd meet her eyes. 'Cute.' he thought to himself with a small smirk. "You're from the Wind, huh?” The young sage started, skipping over a bit of the pleasantries. "Bit far from home, aren't you? And what's with the thing on your back?” He'd ask, gesturing to the gourd.

Port City Moyama The sea air waivered in front of her nostrils as she made her way from the docks. The trip to Lightning Country had not been a pleasure cruise, she wasn't exactly able to say it was her worst experience on a boat. Honestly, that pleasure still belonged to pirates. It had been mostly her sitting and reading, as well as watching people. A day of it roaming the length of the ship and watching the water as they flowed over it, and the last of it sleeping as she attempted to prepare herself for the rest of her training. So far, the events of it had at the very least, given her a glance at different training techniques and individuals that lived across the Shinobi nations. But nothing was completely eye opening, not to say that the areas were terrible, it was just....she imagined something would have sparked or at the very least given her some perspective. But, her thoughts still lingered on things that she couldn't change or fix. Meaning less time for her to focus on the true matter at hand...getting more familiar with Shukaku. Though not to say that they hadn't gotten closer, just that there were still things about the beast she did not yet understand, and she wanted that knowledge to come from him directly. Yet, it was much like trying to open a shell without breaking it. Coming down the ladder and jumping off to the hardened wood floors, her expression shifted as she adjusted her gourd upon her back, looking around her as she began to move forward. Moyama....another Port city....but one that looked like it had seen as much damage to war as Sunagakure....it was almost reminding her of the outskirts. The people there clearly had some issues with poverty, along with it likely being as much to do with the country's politics as it did with anything related to the plague. But she imagined it didn't help matters to be better. "Be certain to ensure that you remain at a distance...while the plague has passed, there could be a possible variant within this city lingering...we will return to our position Lady Arashi..." She'd hear the small message from a man who was walking beside her, nodding before another moved on ahead with him, seeming to disappear within the crowded streets. She was honestly surprised how diligent they were to remain at a distance and allow for her to do what she needed to do. They were good at their jobs to say the least, and she imagined it had as much to do with her father as it did with her being just as much their boss as he was. In the end, she had been free to do what she wished and their protection was just a precaution for the worst... Continuing forward, she'd note the cooler conditions to that of Sunagakure, and realize that while she may not feel much in terms of hot and cold, she could still feel enough to make her want to keep her jacket close. Yet as she began to move passed the beach area, she'd hear a voice calling toward her, along with a figure seeming to begin moving beside her. Though she did her best to ignore it, it seemed that the hint wasn't getting noticed as the reddish haired individual began speaking to her. As he came the conclusion that she must be from Kaze no Kuni, Arashi would look at him briefly as she kept her stride in moving forward. "What of it?" Her tone was neutral, though it clearly showed that she wasn't exactly being friendly. Still, he hadn't really given her reason to be rude....just running over like that...but it was a reason not to get chummy. As they mentioned how she was a long way from home, the girl would roll her eyes slightly before then hearing the question of the gourd upon her back, prompting her to stop as she placed one hand on her hip as the other rested on her side. "It carries things..." In releasing a breath, she'd then look him over as he seemed as though he had just gotten off from being close to the sand itself, almost tempting her a bit. Though she resisted the urge, Arashi brushed the loose strands of hair from her face as her arms over her chest before raising her brow. "Any other question ya wanna ask or can I keep walkin?" SPOILER: Click to show -S.A Used- Will of Sand Will of Sand- Adding the element of her own chakra into the mixture of sand, Arashi is capable of faster and stronger sand manipulation and attacks. The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku Ultimate Defense A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike. Sand Control Arashi is granted two forms of defense by the Ichibi. The first one is a subconscious ability granted by the Bijuu is that there is constantly a barrier of sand clinging to Arashi’s skin. This barrier acts as a shield against her skin, absorbing heavy blows and protecting her. Her sand defense is very tough, being very difficult to break through. The sand has been likened to steel and concrete. The second form is one which pulls sand from her surroundings and the sand piled on her skin to form a visible barrier and dome like barrier around her. The sand is typically pulled from the ground and any nearby source. Arashi’s various dogs often have a plentiful amount of sand carried in their thick coats. As such, the sand is often pulled from their coats to be used to protect the girl. Through the course of her training, Arashi has learned to control both of these forms of defense to a degree, making her much more capable of mounting a defense in a variety of ways. But she still at times must incumbent some cooperation from Shukaku to ensure of it's sustainability. Arashi can control sand and wind around herself to whip up sandstorms with powerful gusts. The sandstorm often appears when she’s emotionally strained and damaged. If there is no sand around her, powerful breezes will still gather around her. Shukaku enjoys teasing the girl to the point where sandstorms appear. But with the course of time, Arashi had grown more comfortable with this and developed a thick skin towards such actions by the Bijuu. While Arashi had previous had little to no control over her other sand related abilities, she has a somewhat capable hand at this one. Because of the trauma of her sand attacking her classmates at a young age, Arashi has managed to reign in some of this power. Learning to bend the sand to her will, Arashi can keep it from hurting those she doesn’t want it to hurt. Sand will be gathered from nearby sources to be used as a weapon when this ability activates. This ability typically only activates when Arashi is in severe danger, but it has now become possible for her to do so with ease. Though it is more prone to activating near or on full moons. The sand takes the form of blunt objects or tendrils to bash or choke enemies. The young sage's brow furrowed, his eyes tightening with displeasure from the way the Sunagakure kunoichi responded to him. His arms would follow suit with hers, crossing over his chest as he began to return a small display in his own body language that he was walling himself off more than he was opening up.

"Well what in Kami's name crawled up your ass and died?” Daisuke would ask, clearly losing interest over the fact that he wasn't starting off on the right foot as far as introductions went. "Feelin' a little salty from the boat ride, or are your people always this warm and charming?”

Daisuke would soon lower his arm, shifting a hand into his pocket while the other would rub the large puncture scar on his shoulder. "I was gonna ask if you wanted to grab a drink, maybe show you around or at least try and point you in the right direction of wherever you were planning to go. Assuming, of course, that the humble port town wasn't your final destination.”

The young sage would pause a moment, his eyes again looking the woman up and down. She was much smaller than him, that was for certain, but there was something about the way she carried herself that let him know that she was not to be trifled with. He knew that those from the wind country were a tough breed. They had to be to survive in that place. However, the woman before him was the first person he'd met from Sunagakure, and if she was any hint to the way her people viewed those from other places in the world then he would certainly be in for a treat if he'd ever make his way out there. Either that, or she was just as stubborn and off-putting as Daisuke was himself.

He winced a moment, his expression relaxing afterward as he began to turn away from the woman and head back for his belongings on the beach. "But now I'm starting to think you might sooner want to blow off some steam in a fight than try and relax. Either way, I don't get the hint you want a wolf sage for company.” You chunin said with a smirk, though with his body turned there was no way she could see it. He was clearly proud of himself, though, his tone coming more boastful than anything else. But, he did indeed get the feeling he was unwanted, and Daisuke knew when to take a hint.

"Sorry to bug ya, babe.” The young sage said, flicking his hand in the air in a half-attempted wave. "Maybe I'll see you around if you're ever in Kumo. Feel free to stop by the Kage's tower if you ever wanna take me up on that offer for a drink.”

Moment Music It was easy to tell that her demeanor was enough of a put off to prompt his character to show. It usually was enough to be disinterested to really show the truth. A funny trick she picked up along the way, mostly from her dog. She hadn't given him anything, and he was easily thrown off his game. It was clearly the actions of a boy used to getting what he wanted, which made it even more hilarious to see him crumble so quickly into insults. With her brow raised, she'd listen to him go on to ask if she was just salty from her trip here, or if every one of her people were like her. Lumping people into a single group by one representation....clearly he was a charmer... Though she managed to hold her tongue as she honestly knew that egging him on would only continue this interaction as he seemed to go into just what it was that he had wanted to happen, which was to extend an invitation for drinks. Maybe even show her around the place and help her. "I'm sure ya just the greatest of hosts..." Looking at him as she crossed her arms, her attention shifted to the rest of what he had to say as it seemed that he was at this point, giving up. Or at least had finally noted that she wasn't interested in his advances. As he seemed to turn his attention toward a collection of items that were resting on the beach, he took the time to look back at her once more, and continue to speak. In seeming to wish to have the last word, his bravado showing as he mentioned how she likely was more willing to get into a fight than be friendly with having the company of a wolf sage. While she couldn't see the smirk, the features and inflections on his face could tell her as much, prompting Arashi to allow one of her hands to rest behind her back, allowing her to simply wiggle her fingers as if she were waving them in goodbye. "Uh huh....ya know? Theres a sayin bout being prideful...doesn't usually take long till it hits bottom..." At the last statement being yet another invitation to meet him at the Kage Tower if she happened to change her mind, he'd call her babe and that seemed to be the final straw for Arashi, prompting a frown to cross her face as she looked past his back and toward the items that rested on the beach. "Oh I'm sure I'll get there before ya can manage....you might have bigger issues..." Pointing in the direction of the beach, the young female would indicate a sink hole that seemed to come right beneath the Sage's belongings, seeing them being consumed into a pit of sand as she smiled and leaned forward at his side as she blinked and looked up at him. "That might take ya a while to fish out...guess ya better start diggin wolf-boy..." In drawing herself back, she'd hold her hand up in front of his face as she moved around him, continuing forward as she returned to her stride through town. Watching his belongings become engulfed by the sand before he could reach them would certainly send a pulse of anger through the young Chunin. His fist clenched, his teeth gritting against one another before the apprentice would take a deep breath and try his best to compose himself.

With a moment of clarity, though, it hit him exactly what had happened. Daisuke had encountered a handful of shinobi in his past who could use Doton, and although he wasn’t exactly familiar with the element’s capabilities, never once had he seen, or heard of anyone being able to manipulate sand.

"Arashi…” He started, holding his tongue from the string of curses he wanted to throw at the woman. "How the hell did you even do that just now?”

His brow perked up, turning to the Sunagakure kunoichi as he began to move back towards her.

"There’s a part of me that thinks we might have gotten off on the wrong foot.” He said grinning. "Granted I don’t have too much experience working with your people, but never in my life have I heard of someone being able to control sand like that. Only thing I can think of that can is…”

Daisuke’s brow narrowed, his mind thinning first of his recent experience with Kiho. She was a Jinchuuriki of the nanabi, and as such, she could apparently control and use some of the creature’s own powers for herself. Like the manifestation of her wings, for example. That of course brought his mind to the legend of the Ichibi, Shikaku. All he knew were stories about the beast, but that thing was capable of controlling sand too, from what he’d heard. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but Daisuke had always been told to be wary of coincidences.

"Who are you, exactly?”

Moment Music While it may have been a excessive to go and bury the man's stuff within the sand, she figured that it might have at least taught him a lesson in how to approach people. Or at the very least to take his advances to one of the other many females that may very well be interested. As she raised her arms into the air and stretch, she continued to look around her at the many structures within the port town. She only had so much time in which she could spend here, and needed to begin her venture into the mountains to reach Kumogakure. Of course, as she stopped to check out one of the many points in which to guide her, it seemed that Daisuke would once again come to her, this time attempting at apologizing in whatever way he considered to be as such. In stating how they may have gotten off on the wrong foot, Arashi would raise her brow before then looking at him briefly as she placed one hand within her pocket. "Whatever gave ya that idea?" Though his previous question of just how she had manipulated the sand remained unanswered, he'd begin to try and piece it together himself. "Ya supposed to be an apprentice and ya never heard of the Aiel? They do forms of Sand manipulation..." That wasn't who she was, but considering the ties connecting the group to her own gifts wasn't easy to ignore. Of course, he seemed to be still trying to piece it all into one, and as he asked just who she was exactly, the young woman would close her eyes before then placing both hands within her jacket now.
