However, Atagi does not have the chakra chains hijutsu that I would presume is necessary for them (since I'm uncertain why they would be a clan tech if one didn't need the chains-type-chakra to use it). That being said, there is no explicit mention of them in the technique, so it's somewhat unclear, hence me being here and trying this now. Even if it is one of those jutsu that's hidden just by virtue of being hidden and not requiring some special chakra molding technique, it seems to be unlikely even then that Atagi would be taught it, if indeed he could visit/be visited by family at all. But if it was possible, all those deleterious factors aside, then I'd like it to be added. If it isn't, for any of the above reasons (and more, doubtlessly) then instead I'll do the below purchase. Unfortunately to me it looks like all the other Adamantine branch techniques are considered Hiden, and the specific structure of the chakra layer seems to take inspiration from the Adamantine chain structure for the chain SA, so I would say that one would still be restricted behind such an SA.
