The twelve year old daughter of the Hondō family, Yua, and and the eleven year old daughter of the Suwa family, Ichika, have both been feeding the same stray cat. While this should be a trivial matter, both families are really ramping up the tension, and things are becoming a bit dramatic - each of them has hired someone to break into the other's estate and steal the cat, back and forth. A representative from the diplomatic corps needs to put an end to this silly affair. Countdown MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: Required RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Optional PARTICIPANTS: Muramatsa Jun, - DESCRIPTION: A local shopkeep received a warning that a fuuinjutsu seal has been placed somewhere within his shop and that he only has until sundown to deactivate it before "something" happens. While the threat is vague enough that there's a possibility it is a prank, and no combat is anticipated, there is still enough of a credible threat to warrant searching the shop top to bottom. Trouble in Paradise MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: Required RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: No PARTICIPANTS: Muramatsa Jun, - DESCRIPTION: A recently married couple were away on their honeymoon, when suddenly the groom returned without his bride in tow. He has been startlingly tight-lipped about the whereabouts of his recently betrothed. The bride's family has hired the shinobi forces to investigate this disappearance by whatever means necessary - infiltration, interrogation - they just want answers! Fuitchi Sogo Bratsitting MISSION RANK: D NPC REQUIRED: Required RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Required PARTICIPANTS: Fuitchi Sogo, - DESCRIPTION: A minor noble family from Byakuya has hired on shinobi forces to escort their seven year old daughter, Momonoi Chinatsu, to visit her grandmother in a nearby village just in the mountains. While the trip is expected to be brief, Chinatsu is famously difficult to work with, a small monster of epic proportions. Keeping her under control is a challenge, especially because, as people who have worked with her before rumor, making Chinatsu cry is a bad omen for shinobi. Express Delivery MISSION RANK: D NPC REQUIRED: Optional RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Required PARTICIPANTS: Fuitchi Sogo, - DESCRIPTION: A small shipment of medicine is needed in Hyōketsu and it's needed fast, too fast to wait for the train to stock up goods and make the rounds. Shinobi have been tasked with making a mad dash across the icy terrain of Yuki no Kuni, through the woods, and to Hyōketsu before the elderly customer who made the order can succumb to his illness. Waning Deer MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: Required RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Required PARTICIPANTS: Fuitchi Sogo, - DESCRIPTION: Strange reports have come in of a group of caribou behaving incredibly sporadically. More violent than normal, acting with great aggression towards civilians, and suffering from some unknown disease. Shinobi have been dispatched to hunt down and dispatch the animals, preferably without catching whatever it is they're carrying. Rail Rider MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: Required RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Required PARTICIPANTS: Fuitchi Sogo, - DESCRIPTION: One of Yuki no Kuni's trains has had its conductor knocked out and has been taken over by a civilian threat. Shinobi are needed to catch and board the train and retake the helm before the train can get into a major accident. Hoshino Kohaku RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO:
Icefishing MISSION RANK: D NPC REQUIRED: Optional RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Optional PARTICIPANTS: Hoshino Kohaku, - DESCRIPTION: One of the main industries around Yuki no Kuni is icefishing. During the winter, the fishers become even more busy, and could use some extra help out on the ice, both with fishing and with running supplies. The job is relatively simple, but the ice the shinobi must traverse is also very fragile, which means one must be careful. Weapons Trading MISSION RANK: C, Completion of Weaponsmithing NPC REQUIRED: Required RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Optional PARTICIPANTS: Hoshino Kohaku, - DESCRIPTION: The old blacksmith could use some help again. His usual deliverer is sick and can't help him transport his weapons to the market for sale. He wants to hire on someone he already trusts to be competent to join him on his journey. Weapons' trading can be a dangerous business, and bandits might try to jump the cart on the road. Avalanche Season MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: Optional RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Optional PARTICIPANTS: Hoshino Kohaku, - DESCRIPTION: Two people have gone missing after an avalanche buried a small region of forest in snow. Shinobi are needed to search the area and rescue anyone still alive under the snow, preferably without setting off another avalanche. |
