A lone stone broke free from its perch atop a hazardous hidden crevasse, tumbling down the side and into what looked to be a bottomless dark pit below.

The cause? A near misstep from a cloaked traveler, clearly unfamiliar with this land and its geography. "Too close." he thought to himself, adjusting a loose bandage strap unfurled over his right shoulder as a bead of sweat dripped down the side of his face. He still had plenty to do and meeting his end because of shoddy footwork would be an unceremonious end to his tale indeed.

Taking care to mind his step the wanderer navigated around the deep fissure to the other side and strolled right up to the edge of the tall mountain he had been hiking up. It sure wasn't the easiest climb up especially lugging around whatever large object was wrapped in cloth strips on his back. But at least all this walking had been really good for his cardio. It kept him lean, maybe a little too much so. The good news is that it would surely improve his stamina. Endurance was important and he definitely had to keep in decent shape. Fighting form. For what was to come.

It was a bit of a hefty trek through the mountains, today’s journey was less one for the village and more so for her new boss, her mother. She was sent out to look for a young shinobi who she had seen as a strong prospect for her family’s organization from what she heard about him he had a bit of an edge about him, a mysterious wander sort just the kind of intrigue that was generate a great deal of buzz for the Okada organization. Problem is the guy was something of a nomad and couldn’t be easily tracked down but that wasn’t going to stop Taki if she was given an order she was going to carry it out no matter the cost, it was her job after all.

Finally after hours of searching for the guy she managed to find a lead on someone who matched the description running around out towards the wastes to an unknown destination. Taki made her way towards the gulch where he was said to be headed and found herself at the edge of the cliff face she’d look out over at it but wouldn’t see anything until she heard the sounds of shuffling pebbles beneath her feet looking down only to spot a cloaked figure carrying a massive mummified sack on his back. This had to be the guy, the girl would take a look at him seeing an interesting degree of intrigue in his appearance and would rub her hands together as he kept his head facing forward as climbed up, potentially locking eyes with the blonde haired blue eyed jacket wearing girl. "Oh ho ho ho ho ho!” she’d say with excitement in her voice.

"You are a hard guy ta fhind, you know dat?” she’d say squatting down in front of the cliff face where he stood speaking in her thick Okadan accent. Her words had a drawl to them and sounded very distinct unlike nothing he’d probably ever heard before. "Need a hand?” the girl would say. "I’ve been looking for ya…names Taki…”Bakudan.” Okada.” if he’d ever been to one of the neighboring neutral states he’d probably have seen one of their shows or at least heard about them they were kind of a big deal out in Tsuchi no Kuni and other parts of the neighboring regions.

He squinted as he peered out over the forest below. The Land of Earth was teeming with dense woods and within doubtless harbored plenty of good specimens of flora. Wood too. Maybe he would shake off his rust and take a crack at carpentry again. With his tools there were always improvements to be made. But his main focus was definitely flowers. He had been experimenting lately with several different types of petals, leaves, and roots. All in an effort to concoct something that would aid in his mission. For him it was always about the end goal. Always.

Laughter broke the stillness of the air and immediately his attention snapped to its source. A blonde girl with a unique way of speaking stating that she had been looking for him. "Doesn't look samurai..." was his initial thought but looks could be deceiving. His eyes narrowed on her, staring her up and down. As he looked he carefully maneuvered to sure footing listening to her speak all the while. Okada was her family name and one he had a passing familiarity with. His own clan hailing from Iron Country just to the west.

"Muramasa." he replied curtly, his tone relaying his wariness. But his surname might be one she knew as well. An infamous line of swordsmiths who had their reputation recently sullied. He shook his head at her offer of help, instead bluntly asking, "What do the Okada want with me?" as his right hand gripped the bandage strap for his tools firmly. If he seemed on guard it's because he was. Couldn't be too careful in these times, especially on the road. A stranger could mean your end just as easily as salvation.

As the girl held out her hand he soundly ignored it, the boy seemed to have a bit of a harsh greeting for her by denying her offer to have him be helped up to his feet. She took a note of the giant sack on his back what was he hiding in there she wondered her thoughts with her eyes and he’d then give out his name. "Oh I know who you are…been lookin for ya for da last couple a days.” the girl would say looking out to him he seemed to be on his guard when she spoke.

"Ey…take it easy…I’m here to offa ya a job, if you can prove you're worth it.” the girl would say taking note of the boys rather defensive stance, trying to get him to calm down and prove to him that she wasn’t out to get him, taking out a business card that a had a large white logo with a orange and white metallic trim to it. With the words "Okada Shinobi Shoot Wrestling Alliance.” written upon it.

"Some o my people say you’re quite da scrapa.” she’d say making a combative gesture to him before settling herself back into her usual stance. "So I’m here to put dat to da test.” Taki’s job was to take in talent but her clan wasn’t going to accept just anybody she needed to make sure that he was up to snuff more than anything.

"Impress me and we might have something more to talk about…so how bout it, you win this fight and you just might make some serious Ryo.” with that she’d enter into a more wild stance one akin to wrestling she had an excited look in her eye as she glared him down she wasn’t going to really hurt him of course but there was something exciting about facing a stranger it got her blonde blood boiling.

An eyebrow arched as the girl confirmed that she knew of his identity. As far as most people knew he was just some nobody wanderer with an old name. The Okada must have had quite the information network indeed for them to learn more. A card was offered to him which he eyed warily before stepping forward and grasping it between two of his fingers. "Wrestling Alliance..." he read internally from the card, his dark gaze shifting towards Taki soon after. "Pretty gaudy." his commentary concluded, manners clearly not at the forefront of his mind. Chalk it up to long travels. But he was intrigued to say the least. It appeared that this stranger was no threat. For the meantime.

Taki stated that she had heard of his prowess in combat. "I don't fight often... and I don't exactly like to, either." his mind wandered back to the past few months. Battle was an unavoidable aspect of this world of theirs. Still he did tend to avoid trouble wherever possible and keep to himself. Where were these Okada who had witnessed him fight? Some spectator to some unexpected bit of trouble no doubt. She spoke of a test and he brought a hand up to rub the back of his neck, closing his eyes in exasperation as he spoke. "Look I'm not some cage fighter so I'm gonna have to pa-" a loud grumbling cut off his sentence before he could finish.

His empty stomach disagreed. Half-lidded eyes glanced again at the card. Extra Ryo never hurt. It was clear he was considering it... he just needed some convincing.

As the boy spoke he almost seemed like he wasn’t all that interested referring to the card as "gaudy.” the girl mentally seemed a little insulted you don't insult a business woman's business card you might as well be insulting their business. But she needed to put her anger behind her, she couldn’t just flip out at someone for every small slight but he didn't seem sold just yet so she needed to think on how she could swing this more so back in her favor, money was on the line.

After a moment however he’d state that he didn’t fight often and that he didn’t exactly like too either that was an interesting point he certainly sounded comfortable based on what she had heard. She felt for him in a sense knowing that most people in their line of work usually don’t fight for money and if they do it’s at the cost of someone’s life. So the girl would take pause and think for a second. "And I ain’t asking ya too…” she’d joke, relaxing her stance but still keeping her arms up.

"Pahformah’s only woik about two ta three days a month, and awl we ask is dat ya show up on fight night, ya do dat ya get paid ya do well ya get a bonus.”Unlike their civilian counterpart Shinobi fought much less but fought that much harder and as such got paid a pretty penny, and if they really wowed the crowd the Okada were more than happy to throw in a little something extra. "So how bout it ready to show me what your made of, by da sounds of your stomach sounds like you could use dis paycheck?"

A devil's bargain.

Well... not really at all actually. Just someone extending a helping hand. But his travels hadn't done much to alleviate his natural skepticism of just about everything. Unfortunately his stomach wasn't going to allow him the luxury of turning his nose up at the offer. Sure he could rough it for a few more days, maybe a week at most. But eventually he was gonna have to make some kind of yen to eat. The 'shows' he had been putting on every once in a while when he had no other option weren't drawing the kind of patronage he would like. When it came to craftsmanship he was great. Entertaining though? Needed work.

His aloof stare soon narrowed on the girl as she elaborated further. "Two to three days?" he repeated in a questioning tone, taking a few steps back as he clasped his hands in an unusual shape in front of his face. His dark eyes stayed fixated on Taki. Not quite a glare... but a look of focus, rather. "I'll hold you to that." His mouth was obscured by his hands but he continued peering over them at her. Unmoving. If it was going to be a battle he would do this on his terms. The gears in his mind were already turning. Calculating.

Before he made his first move he needed intel. Without quite having the measure of this wrestler he hoped his assumptions were right... and that she would oblige.

With that information now in mind he seemed to have everything he needed in terms of how things would work now he just needed to prove himself. "Dats right, two ta three.” Taki would say as she shuffled about getting herself into position. "Hey Im a lotta tings but I ain’t no dishonest businesswoman.”

With that the girl would enter into a rather wide stance she’d notice the look in his eye he seemed focused and Taki liked that she was excited to see what he could bring to the table. "Oh yeeaaah!” As the girl spoke her words she’d let out a painfully loud screech that would potentially disorient her opponent allowing her the chance to move in and attack.

With that the grappler would charge towards the man with as much speed as she could muster, but rather than attack head on she’d encircle him with her speed trying to confuse him and if possible quickly turning about and attempting to flank him with a grapple attempting to place her hands around his waist and if successful would lift him over her head and release him hoping to cause his body to crash onto the ground but made sure to use not enough strength to throw him over the edge.

The girls grip was fierce and would more than likely leave a bruise should he not have a way to actively escape and the ensuing toss more than likely wouldn’t end with a happy landing but this was all dependent on if how he responded too it.

The Okada Suplex is a maneuver initiated by going behind the opponent and grabbing hold of the victim by the waist and lift them over their head and slam them onto the ground behind them. Applying pressure to the head and neck of their opponent with enough force to break it on contact. If the user has a secure enough hold and the opponent is unable to escape, the user could perform another. The user rather than hold the victim can or release them causing the opponent to land on the back of the head and neck if they have no way of breaking their fall, possibly causing further damage to the head and neck area.

The user will basically screech at the top of their lungs. The max range this jutsu can go without senjutsu is a 20 meter radius. Taught while learning from the apes, it is said that those who were taught the the great ape sage hold a resistance near immunity to the technique so that the user doesn't harm themself. The range of this while in sage mode is 45m, and the effects usually last only for a post.

A deafening scream left his ears ringing and hearing all but shot. Through his wincing he watched as Taki rushed towards him. But before any blow could land she seemingly vanished. "Fast!" the only thought he could get across before searching around and spotting her in his blind spot. A halfhearted, limp arm strike was sent her way but as she bent down for her next attack it whiffed and missed her completely. Misdirection.

As her hands wrapped around his waist and lifted him into the air a small grunt escaped his mouth. Freakishly strong and fast to boot? Interesting. He hadn't the time to prepare an escape beforehand so thinking as fast as he could he formed the Tora hand seal mid-lift. Just as the suplex finished and he came crashing down his figure rolled out at blinding speed and over the cliff's edge (Body Flicker Technique).

It may have appeared as if he'd gone flying off of the mountain to his certain doom but in truth he had come to a sliding halt on the cliff face itself, kneeling completely vertical with some tricky last-minute chakra channeling (Act of Tree Climbing). A small sigh escaped his lips as he irritably shook his head. His ears were ringing, his back still took a beating from that suplex despite wriggling out of the attack's brunt... but he had an idea now. Taijutsu-focused with some odd sort of secondary capability. Genjutsu? He wasn't sure but it was enough to go off of. In one swift motion he lifted the bandage sling over his head and with the help of a spin launched the wrapped object up the cliff face back towards Taki.

As it spun and traveled upwards he performed a series of five hand seals I → Uma → Inu → Saru → Mi as he dashed to the side. A wide flanking maneuver. He wanted to circle around the cliff's face and head even higher, he needed a vantage point for this battle. The fingertips on his right hand began to faintly glow blue as he held his right out in the direction of the spinning luggage and just as it appeared over the edge where he had last been? Two wild beasts burst forth from the wrapping towards Taki (Puppetry Sudden Ambush). The black wolfdog would attempt to bite down on her right leg with its black iron jaws while the white wolfdog would soar overhead to her backside and create some distance. Once there it would point its left foreleg at her, the joint folding as four shuriken zipped through the air towards her.

By this time the wanderer had made the summit of his destination, an overhang nearby where Taki and he had been standing. He did his best to stay low and out of sight as his hands moved, manipulating the threads to make his creations move (Puppet Technique). Two surprise attacks. Now to see how she handled this.

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

A variation of the puppet summoning technique, this ability requires a few moments of set up and is generally used when the opponent is unaware of the user. Next they spread their chakra threads so that they surround the "target" of the ambush, usually forming a circle but any shape is possible depending on the terrain and where the most advantageous placement of the appearing puppets would be. Once the threads are in place, the user performs the hand signs. Once completed, the puppets to be summoned appear in the designated area, rather than near the summoner. This technique requires the user be able to see the target area, and the area must be within range of their chakra threads. As it's name implies, this ability allows for the creation of an ambush as the target finds themselves suddenly surrounded by puppets. If done properly, the user may be able to set up this ambush without revealing their position, allowing a hasty retreat should the sneak attack fail.

With the girl having landed her suplex she’d release the boy and then kip up to her feet but before she could try to find him he was gone…? The girl walked near the ledge thinking that he might’ve actually fallen over no way right…? But just then she’d find herself assaulted by his massive puppet armada, a wolf ambushing her and attempting to take a bite out of her leg.

Seeing this the girl would react by s[inning about and charging her leg with lighting and punting the creature right in the as it clamped its iron teeth together in an effort to knock it back hoping to send it flying off the side of the cliff. However after her efforts she’d spot a shadow that was cast over her body and upon landing would find herself face to face with another wolf like creature, that would fire off a series of Shuriken right towards her she was able to see it coming and did her best to try and move her body out of the way but would find the side of her leg sliced from the Kunai, leaving some cuts along her thigh.

"Gaah dammit…” the girl would groan but would attempt to move but the cuts had left their mark, after she completed her rotation the girl would craft a series of hand seals that would create a cavern that would entrap the creature. "Stay in timeout fido..."

Tension filled the Chakra Threads on his right hand as his black-furred puppet was sent flying off the cliff's edge.

He had to yank the strings back just to stabilize the creation. Even with his efforts the disheveled wolfdog fell a ways before swinging down and coming to a sliding halt on the cliff's face, the quick channeling of chakra through the threads just barely allowing it to gain a foothold on the mountain's vertical surface (Act of Tree Climbing). He'd only just saved the creature from plummeting when his other puppet was trapped completely.

"Damn." he cut off the threads for the trapped creation. It'd been awhile since he'd used this many jutsu in succession. His meticulous chakra control helped with this he needed to conserve as much energy as possible. He had an ace or two up his sleeve but he didn't want to play those cards. Better to be underestimated he thought. "She's not half bad with ninjutsu as well... pretty talented for a wrestler." The shadow of a light smirk had begun to form on his face. He'd never admit to having fun but his inner craftsman couldn't help but admire someone who excelled at their trade. Maybe he had the wrong idea about entertaining.

Freeing his puppet was next and he had a plan. The digits on his right hand worked in a frenzy, leading the black dog up the mountain's face and leaping into the air over Taki. Mid-jump its right hindleg folded, dropping a bandaged ball to the ground below. A large flash erupted, hopefully near enough to disorient the girl (Flash Bomb). The dog kicked off of the dome and away... but atop it facing Taki was now a distinct looking tag inscribed with seals (Explosive Tag). "Let's see if I can pull this off..." The black dog landed lightly and dashed Taki. Small compartments on its hindlegs opened as the dog encircled her. A glint of wire could barely be seen as it ran, unspooling more and more. Once it had circled her several times the dog jumped backwards and pulled the wire taut, attempting to ensnare her completely (Wire Trap). With some luck and the assistance of his Flash Bomb he hoped it would work.

Five more hand seals later and he prepared an escape (Body Replacement Technique). Another sigh escaped his lips as a bead of sweat dripped down the side of his face. He was feeling it... and so was one of his puppets. Even from his perch he could hear the body of the black wolfdog creaking from the kick earlier. "Probably his frame." It was time to see how she reacted. And if this plan of his would work.

DESCRIPTION:
Flash bombs are used for diversions, creating a blinding light when they detonate. They come in small paper spheres and occasionally in the same form of explosive tags. When they are ignited they shine in one direction for 5 meters. Anyone caught in these will be temporarily blinded, thus givng the user an oppurtunity to flee or attack.

"Nice Toys ya got dere…you schuure know how to make dis interestin." The girl would say as blood streamed down her leg, she'd head towards the direction where the man would've gone but before that would see another one of his animals come towards her, on reaction she'd leap into the air and attempt to wrap her arms around his neck with her tight and powerful grip and would then jerk its head down towards the ground and slam it directly onto the top of its head hoping to bust it. These things were tough and she'd never really anything like this and thus far she was impressed.

However if she landed on the ground the girl would then stand up but as she got up she'd see a small circular bomb that would land by her feet along with the hissing noise right at the edge of the leg of her puppet. "Aww shi–" she'd attempt to kick it away but if it slid maybe a few feet the bomb would detonate and the girl would be knocked back and slid along the ground falling off the side of the cliff face but just then she’d snap the edge of the ledge, her leg stinging from the aggravated injury and the pain from the bomb that scorched her clothes and the heat searing her face causing a blistering pain on her skin. As she hung over the ledge she'd try to get a feel for where she was but her eyes and ears were still recovering but hopefully her high angle DDT might’ve been enough to bust up his puppet and with the other trapped behind Doton he'd need to serious muscle to get poochy out of the pound.

"Aggh dammit my eyes…" her vision had become a bit foggy as she rapidly blinked trying to recover her sight "I gotta say, you are damn good Murray." The girl would say calling out to him wherever he was. "But I'm taking da cost of jacket outta ya pay." She'd say in jest.

"Uh-oh." Understatement of the century. It's rare that a plan unfolds exactly as expected. This one of his was no different. He just wanted to free his trapped puppet not blow the poor Okada girl half to hell! A sweat drop had formed on the back of his head as a shocked expression took hold on his face (or as much of one as he could muster anyway). "Some test fight." he thought as he stood from his crouched position and dropped down from the overhang.

As he approached the fingers on his right hand moved their chakra threads but responses from his black wolfdog were sluggish. No doubt busted up from that last exchange. As he neared the cliff's edge he would palm the earthen dome as he passed to leave another seal-ridden tag in the position he intended last time, facing the cliff's edge where Taki hung (Explosive Note). This one was primed only to go off remotely. "You got Yō pretty good." he would say as he slowly walked towards the girl. From this spot he could clearly see his puppet as it just barely managed to stand. Half of its face was shattered revealing some of the hidden mechanisms inside and its left hindleg was completely gone. "Trapped In too... not bad." If she looked up she would see him standing near the edge peering down at her. After a moment of consideration he would bend down and extend his hand to the girl. "Seen enough?"

If she wanted to call it quits at this point he was fine with that. Otherwise he still had a quick getaway readied and another note ready to go on the surface of the dome. His eyes were still narrowed, ready to meet the next challenge. But for now the choice was Taki's.

As the girl dangled and called out to him she’d hang over until her sight had been recovered for a moment and as she looked up she’d see him looking down at her with her arm extended at this point she’d gotten pretty banged up, she’d take his hand and help herself up. "Yeah I guess so, not bad.” she’d say dusting herself off, a smile on her face she enjoyed that a lot more than she should have, but her pride was a bit wounded at the loss.

She had bumped into a lot of shinobi on her recruitment journey and not many of them managed to impress her the way he had. "I guess what we'd heard was true, most o da guys don’t usually take me to my limit like dat." The girl would say as she crafted a hand a few hand seals. "But most guys don’t use puppets eitha.”

"But next time, I'll give ya awl I got." She'd say smirking to him, if he’d notice the girl had a belt along her waist the words "Sage” written into it but seeing as he wasn’t exactly from anywhere in particular he might not recognize what the word means.

After a moment the girl would finish her seals and would summon a large gorilla who seemed to be dressed in an interesting set of clothes a dress shirt and casual slacks almost as if he were a human himself, he had white fur and a star shaped pattern on the top of his head. "Where am I...oh...I must say what an interesting style of dress my boy." the ape would remark as he examined the puppeteers choice in wardrobe, his voice was rather posh in tone that made him sound rather sophisticated.

"Yo Riku...lend me a hand ere..." the girl would say calling the apes attention to her. "We're heading into town and I'm a little banged up thing you could patch me up right quick?" the girl would request. "Not even a hello...and who might this be?" the ape was annoyed with her lack of manners as one would be if they were called from their home but for all his annoyance he was also interested in the man who stood before her.

"Riku you are lookin at a future SSWA prospect..." Riku didn't fully understand exactly what Taki's clan did but he did have an interest in their fashion sense. "I see...is he some sort of nomad...is that his gimmick as you say?" the gorilla would ask. "Not important...right now...can you patch up a couple o dhese boins and some cuts I got...?" the ape would turn to her still somewhat peeved. "So selfish..." he'd remark as he looked over her injuries and would take some ointment and apply it to the cuts on her legs and then some on her face.

"Gaaah." the ointment stung but was a necessary part of the healing process, one that Riku had constantly applied to the young woman. "Let that sit for a moment and wash it off in a few hours." he'd say as he finished his application to the young woman and then handing her a small container of the substance he lathered on her face.

"Thanks Riku...you can head back home." the ape would smile and then look over towards the young man. "Farewell, and good luck to you." after a moment he'd vanish in a puff of smoke leaving the girl and her partner alone as she lathered in the ointment until it was practically gone from her face the entire encounter seeming rather normal for the young sage.

"So ya ready to go?" the girl would state looking to the young man still somewhat reeling from the battle as the ointment did it's work it stung so as she walked she'd feel it with each step but the girl was tough and knew how to take a punch.

Riku is a long haired albino gorilla, with a yellow star on his forehead. His hair is long, wavy, and of course messy. However his fur is notably fluffy, and usually when in the home of the gorillas, Riku has some smaller gorilla resting on him.

Most notably, he wears a purple furred cloak on his back, along with a banana palm fan. These combined with his soft facial features and fluffy appearance give a calm air to him, much to Riku's joy.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. Lot of personality in a small package, it was endearing even to a sullen sack like himself. And this encounter had even broadened his perspective a bit on the entertainment business. The subject of puppets came up, "Got to stay out of range of that suplex of yours." he said as he looked to his damaged black puppet. With a flick of his fingers it rolled onto its side and lay motionless.

The Okada girl next summoned a well-dressed gorilla, prompting a raised eyebrow. Stranger things existed in the Ninja World but still... it was a clothed talking ape. He was at a loss for words and hoped the gentleman primate wouldn't take his widened stare as rude. ""The surprises keep on coming." While he patched up Taki the wanderer took this time to gather up all the pieces he could find of Yō. It was busted up pretty bad but luckily this wasn't his first rodeo. He walked over to the downed dog and placed the parts next to him, next withdrawing a thick roll of bandages from within his cloak and laying some of them out to place the creation on top of. In was still trapped so she'd have to wait but he did remove the fuuinjutsu-scribed seal from the earthen dome. There'd been enough accidental explosions for one day.

Afterwards he returned to Taki and her companion and watched the summon work. He nodded towards the gorilla as he bid farewell and vanished in a puff of smoke. Unraveling more cloth he gestured towards Taki's leg with his head. "Might need stitches but this will help too." If she'd allow it he would crouch down and bind the wound tightly with the cloth. He was no doctor but it was clear from his movements that he'd done this before. Life on the road was not always easy. "Didn't mean to cut you... I try not to if it's not for real." he paused for a brief moment before finishing the wrapping. Coupled with the ointment it was decent field medicine. Less risk of infection this way. He stood and shifted his gaze to the dome where his second puppet remained trapped. She asked if he was ready and he glanced back. "Where to?" His mind wandered. Whatever was next he just hoped it wasn't a ladder match.
