Along with the Genin Aburame Azarea, Eri encounters a trap laid by bandits who destroyed the bridge that led them to their destination. A short fight with the bandits later, the two kunoichi left only their foes bodies behind as a warning to others. Eri used her puppetry skills and to create a crude bridge for the caravan, and after a few more days of relatively uneventful travel, the merchants reached their destination unharmed and their product unbroken.
