[Kyuumu Takame]

Going on missions wasn't something Takame particularly cared much less than things that benefited the village. So having to do this mission or whatever it was was something he didn't want to do. Though if it meant getting more freedom as a shinobi and slowly getting up in rank for the village and in turn making things easier for the clan then he would play the silly game of shinobi the village required of him. Of course, he wouldn't put his neck too out of line for the village if it meant dishonoring his clan so he would try this mission carefully. So here he was waiting at the gates of the village for his partners. Well ok, one was the jounin whose team he had been assigned to, but the other was supposed to be a shinobi from another village and honestly, Takame wasn't sure what to think about working with someone from another village. So long as they didn't get in his way of accomplishing his goal and were easy to work with he could deal with them, but he would have much rather done this mission alone. Not that he could do it alone, but he wouldn't admit that to anyone. He would be wearing the standard staple for Kumo ninja though the colors were a bit more muted favoring black and gray instead of gray and white. Other than the slight color change he wasn't very imposing looking especially due to his short stature though his hair did stand out slightly since it had that puff of blond in the front. [Gure, Okingshi]

Okingshi had been deployed to Kumogakure for a collaborative mission as a test for his coming promotion; or so he assumed. After days of travel, using his kekkai genkai's unique migration skill the young shinobi finally made his way within range of the village gates. He took a moment to rest, adjusting his improvised gas-mask, now respirator. Dark crimson eyes darted around, looking at the surrounding nature in pursuit of rare fungi to forage. Alas he found a strange magenta Lactarius indigo; while not a "fun" mushroom, it was indeed quite delicious. He took a kunai from his holster and harvested the stork gently. Once he had examined the specimen thoroughly, the young Gure placed it away for later consumption.

Done with his little scavenger hunt, Okingshi slowly sunk into the ground - once again preforming migration. It took little more than two minutes for his arrival at Kumogakure's entrance and when finally there, the Gure's figure slowly rose from the ground. Like a mushroom growing in front of their eyes, the nearby shinobi witnessed the dark grey cloak covering Okingshi's body appear first, with a cloud dark green spores encompassing the air around him. Next his scythe took form, its fungus covered blade looking ever more sickening. From the hood of the cloak, Okingshi's scarred and weathered face was revealed as he elevated his head to look at the shinobi awaiting his arrival.

"Gure, Okingshi from Kusagakure. I'm here for the mission our two nations have agreed to work on together" Okingshi's voice rung out, deep and raspy through the respirator he wore.

SORA

Another day, another mission. There was always some part of the country to check on or some person or people that needed defending and when you needed that little bit of extra muscle it was the village you contracted. Today's was unique, however, in that they'd be working with their allies from Kusagakure to achieve success, in addition Sora was also bringing along one of his new genin to get them some experience in the field. While not a particularly difficult mission there was a decent amount riding on things going well in terms of strengthening village relations and putting their best foot forward.

According to the missive there was to only be one allied shinobi helping them with the mission which would help to keep things simple. With the gates in view Sora could see that his charge, Takame, had already arrived which was a great sign. "Morning, Takame, I take it you're ready for our travels today?" He'd ask the boy with a smile. In all honesty the kid was a bit grumpy and reminded Sora of one of his previous pupils, but even if he didn't do things with a smile the genin was at least willing to listen and learn.

It wouldn't take long for the third and final member of their team to make his appearance, and an appearance it was. Like watching a person sized fungus spring up before them the Gure made his way out of the ground to the raised brow of the Mayonaka. It was certainly one way to make ones presence known and he could only hope that the cloud of spores wafting in the air didn't come with any adverse affects. "A pleasure to meet you, Okingshi. My name is Eitama Sora and this is Kyuumu Takame. We've got a bit of a trek ahead of us, shall we get started?" He'd ask of the man unless there was anything he needed village side. Their route was going to take them just about due south from the village and while not a difficult journey at all the trio had quite a bit to do once they arrived so time was of the essence.

[Kyuumu Takame]

It wouldn't be too long before the other would arrive at the gate which certainly made things a lot easier for Takame. While he didn't think the team leader would skip out on the mission he wasn't so sure of the person who would be joining them from the other village. Takame honestly had no faith the mission would even need the other person, but whatever he would deal with it as the sooner they finished the mission the sooner he could get back to the compound and hang with his bird friends. He would simply nod at his team leader when he asked him if he was ready cause frankly he just wasn't in the most social mood. He didn't much like talking with others very often especially if it was someone outside of his clan. At the very least the nod wasn't an aggressive one so probably one of the friendlier gestures he could have given his team leader. Soon after they would be joined by the representative of Kusa who came out of the ground like some sort of fungus. It was kind of gross if Takame was honest, but then again it's not like he didn't see the birds do gross things from time to time themselves so he wasn't that fazed by the appearance. Takame would look up their new arrival up and down, but wouldn't speak especially since his team leader spoke for him introducing himself to the Kusa representative. Though he wouldn't stay silent for too long as he would rudely interject saying, "Let's just get this started already." He wanted this mission to be over with as soon as possible so he could get back home. Formalities between the two villages didn't matter in his mind especially since he was part of the inner sector of the Kyuumu clan. Sooner or later the village wouldn't matter and their clan would either leave or rise above it and Takame would make sure there were no bonds with others who didn't matter to the clan. [Gure, Okingshi]

Flies begun converging towards the filth of Okingshi's crowl as his movement stagnated; hovering around the genin's head like a halo,  their wings hummed with a sharp yet subtle white noise. It was of little annoyance to the Gure as he listen to the Kumogakure shinobi speak. Okingshi's damp robes barely moved as his hunched frame slowly shuffled towards the pair. With a blank gaze strewn on his pale disfigured face, Okingshi quickly analysed them; of which the genin appeared rash and impatient, while crimson scar around the raven-haired man's eye clearly indicted he was a man of duty - or so Okingshi thought. As he finished, again a rapsy voice gurgled from beneath the respirator - "You are right, there's nothing to be gained by wasting time" Okingshi said - his breath visible as a mist, in reality more microscopic spores.

The genin spun on the ball of his heel, flicking the mouldy clad around his silhouette; the flies that had one rested on it's unwashed fabric now sent into a maniac frenzy in all directions. Once he was sure the others would follow, Okingshi lept forward heading south to their destination. He would pace himself enough for the oldest of the group to take lead, he was in foreign territory after all.

SORA

Niceties may have been lost on the two young shinobi but if they could work as efficiently as they wanted to quickly then the three of them would have the outpost up and running in no time. Once fully outside the entrance to the village the trio's destination would take them due east, Sora keeping at a pace that he knew Takame could keep up with and assumed wouldn't be too much of a bother for their Kusagakure partner. The entire country being a very large, mountainous peninsula offered uniquely symmetrical views regardless of what side of the country you were on with possibly the sole exception being when you neared the border to Frost Country, so it would have been easy to wonder if one ridge or the next was their stopping point, but the site in question was a ways out and would take some time to get to.

"I must ask, Okingshi-san, did you use that traveling technique the entire way here from Kusa or were you able to get in some of the sights and sounds?" Sora asked the boy genuinely curious. Though the two villages were allies they were not by any means next door neighbors, and the shortest route one could have taken still required traveling through three different countries. Admittedly the man had never taken more than a superficial interest in village relations and politics but part of him wondered how useful allies could be when they were so far separated, though he supposed it was better to have someone with eyes and ears in faraway places than not.

[Kyuumu Takame]

They were wasting time talking and yet that seemed to be all they were doing. Takame could be training his genjutsu techniques or talking to his feathered friends of the sky, but no he was here with wrinkles the mold-man, and captain scar-face. Why was he saddled with such weird people anyways? At least his teammate Katsuo was normal in appearance or technique, but these two were like nightmares out of a horror novel. So forgive Takame for wanting to just get this mission over with as he just wasn't that comfortable being surrounded by freaks. Shoot he would even take the company of the crimson-headed woman who visited the compound the other day than this batch of interesting individuals. At the very least it seemed the boy from Kusa, who looked like they needed a bath in lotion, seemed to have some semblance of sense to get this mission started and begin walking. Sure it was in the wrong direction, but it was something as they began to head East. Scar-face would take the lead and Takame would do his best to keep pace with the older shinobi. They would begin asking their decrepit ally a few questions about their movement technique and if they saw the sights to which Takame would say bluntly, "He can take in the sights later we should focus!" His words would be a bit sharp, but it wasn't like he had a slight advantage in seeing the sights in comparison to others. With his clan's eyes he could see the sights a lot easier and in more detail, than most people could so maybe the beauty of the world most people saw was always lost on him.
