Walking casually through an area of Hi no Kuni that had yet to be spoiled by shinobi-kind, Hyuga Kayaku had returned to his homeland once again. His trip had taken him to the Law country, where he had reunited with one of his lovers, the Voice of Jashin, Kyodai Jirou. Some would say that their relationship was toxic or insanity however Kāyaku didn't think it to be so. What's toxic for some isn't for others, and Kayaku never suffered from insanity; he enjoys every minute of it.

Despite his odd love life and being a wanted man, something always brought the man back home.  No matter how far away he had traveled this mysteriously profound, and otherworldly force brought him home. Too Kayaku, it felt like nostalgia, though not the kind that elicits fond memories, that usual warm fuzzy feeling or anything of that nature. The nostalgia Kayaku felt was warped and twisted, a gnawing urge in the pit of his gut that could only elicit negative emotions.

Feelings of regret, sorrowful mourning, rage, sadness and abandonment. Feelings that would usually keep a person away from the thing that caused it, especially someone such as the Hyuga, whose freedom was nearly unbound. Yet, he always, eventually found himself back home. As if he were tethered to the very land itself, with only death being the only way to escape. The man chuckled, quickly thinking that with his luck, even death couldn't pry the "Hi no Kuni" from who and what he is. After all, he could take himself out of his country, but could he or anyone else take his country and Identity out of the man?

To be honest, Kāyaku could go on for hours and hours on end about how there wasn't any love between him and his homeland. The truth of the matter was simple… he loved his home. Which might or might not include the hidden village.

Nevertheless, Kayaku had given himself an excuse as to why he returned, and this time it wasn't his usual unimaginative "Mountain-top Dojo" spiel. This time he had business with one of his associates, a Hyuga by the name of Shigure. The two kinsmen unintentionally crossed paths one faithful evening. Kayaku decided to test the then Genin shinobi due to him being the former heir and Shigure being the current heir; Kayaku's replacement. Nonsense and drivel soon followed as Shigure quickly denounced Kayaku, calling him the Ghost of the Hyuga, and that he was an evil man who slew the former leader, and left the village merely on a whim.

He didn't even know the full story...

Kayaku was someone who rarely shows any sign of anger, he was the epitome of serenity and the personification of nonchalant. However, when he heard the bullshit the elders had told the clan and following generations, it tore open a wound that he thought to have healed. Out of that wound came the anger and disgust he harbored for his late mother, the former leader of the Hyuga clan, who had been killed by his hands. The older Hyuga nearly forgot that he wanted to simply test the boy's prowess and resolve, so much so that he slowly stopped pulling his punches.

Then… something miraculous happened,

Shigure's words managed to reach the Hyuga heir deep inside the Missing-nin; the boy Kayaku was before he had become Seishin, the Spirit or Borei no Hyuga, Ghost of the Clan. It forced the man from his fury, utterly stopping him in his tracks as if he were powerless to do anything but concede. After Kayaku regained his composure, the two of them had agreed upon a wager.

A promise between Hi no Kunians…

A deal between two shinobi…

A pact that ordered Kāyaku to abstain…

A vow of blood between kin…

Thinking back to that day, the man chuckled, it was true that Shigure's conviction and burning desire is what saved him a few broken bones. However, Kayaku also played devil's advocate during that fateful day and agreed simply to see Shigure fail. Annoying as it was… as he was, Kayaku ultimately decided to play along and agreed to Shigure's terms. Promising to not pull why Missing-nin shenanigans so that Shigure can fix the clan his own way.

Of course Kayaku didn't think the boy would succeed, there was still a small part of him that had been buried for so long secretly hoping that the boy would.
Sadly, that was months ago and they're hasn't been any word from Shigure let alone any noticeable change that had involved the Hyuga clan.

Then the fallout between Shodaime and the village happened. This event coupled with not hearing a single word from Shigure, let alone a basket of snacks or something, meant that Both him and Shigure had failed…
Up until today, Kayaku still had faith in the younger shinobi so much so that he stayed his hand a little longer and decided to reunite with Jirou to buy Shigure more time.

Now that time has run out and the Ghost of the Hyuga had returned, Shigure's time had run its course and Kayaku was itching to cause some mayhem and destruction. If the Hyuga didn't want to change then Kayaku would force retribution upon them. Complete and utter annihilation was the only option.
The Hyuga Clan Massacre, the extinction of every single Hyuga save Shigure; Kayaku didn't plan on himself leaving out situation alive, his only goal was to destroy the clan. Regardless of his own life…

...Or so he thought

Lost in thought as he traveled through the murky swamplands known as Kawa. Kayaku's pace increased subconsciously going from a casual stride to a fast paced all and then to jogging, and finally max speed. Sprinting, flipping and dodging inundated roots and fallen tree limbs, the man's destination was Konohagakure no Sato. Although he didn't know it at time he would never make it to the hidden village.

While racing through the unforgiving wilderness his Byakugan caught the slightest glimpse of a very familiar Chakra signature; a chakra that was not only produced by a Byakugan eye but also by someone from his immediate family. There were slight differences
between the Chakra signature that he just saw and the one he remembered, but he still decided to investigate its source. Kayaku couldn't ignore another Hyuga within the area, especially someone of his family. Letting them go would put an end to his Hyuga assault before it had even begun.

"Well well… and here I thought I'd come across one of my family members. My uncle to be exact" the man said, suddenly appearing out of the foliage as if he had used the Shunshin no Jutsu. "Tell me young man… exactly how did you come by that Byakugan eye? You're no Hyuga, though it seems you're not exactly a normal person either….. biologically speaking".

Although Kayaku wasn't a medic and didn't have official training with medical jutsu, he was fairly familiar with seeing Human Anatomy, due to having trained and used his own doujutsu extensively throughout his life. Due to the Byakugan and peering into countless Shinobi bodies Kāyaku was able to notice certain differences between the people he met. Most people appeared the same as the next, with slight variation due to aspects such as their clan, diet and overall health; irregardless of that Kayaku had never seen anatomy like this Wahei's.

Of course it really was the same as any other person, everything was in it's correct please such as organs, bones and muscles. However it was the minute differences that stood out more than if he were looking into someone else. Such as the rytheme of the person's heart beat, to the thickness of his blood or how his muscles tensed when he moved.

"Are you some type of designer human test tube person? Wait, never mind that, answer the Byakugan question. "

Kayaku asked out loud before doubling back to his original question. Not realizing how unsettling it would be for a random man suddenly appearing and then asking questions about a Doujutsu. What made this even worse was that Kayaku's face and his own Byakugan was covered by his usual freaky looking eyeless mask.

Byakugan Master[Always Active]

One of Kayaku's trademark abilities is his Byakugan, with the other two being his Taijutsu and chakra control. While the Byakugan is very common within in his clan, Kayaku's is especially powerful. With his eyes, he has a near-360° penetrative field of vision, with a small blind-spot exists behind his third upper-thoracic vertebrae. Kayaku's Byakugan gives him the ability to see chakra, which it can do to a greater degree than the Sharingan, with it he can identify chakra by the specific individuals it originates from and determine when genjutsu is being used. Kayaku's ability to see chakra is acute enough to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that run along it, including the Eight Chakra Gates, additionally his vision can penetrate through most solid objects and obstructions, however certain barriers may distort his Byakugan's perception

The range of this vision varies between clan members, however Kayaku has refined both his long range and close range visual prowess. When focusing his vision in a single direction, Kayaku can see across vast distances, reaching as far away as 15 kilometers, while at close distances his Byakugan grants his attacks pinpoint accuracy, allowing him to magnify in on the slightest movements of his opponents body and inturn move to dodge or intercept. Lastly, Kayaku's Byakugan is able to follow high-speed movements, which allows the him to react better under entense situation. With that being said Kayaku's prowess with his Byakugan is such that it allows him to see the faintest movements of his opponents body, see fast-moving objects or opponents, chara and his opponents Organs, simply put Kayaku has one of the strong Byakugan's to hail from the clan.

Agility of the Rabbit

Over the years, Kayaku has gained a high level of agility, this coupled with the added visual prowess granted to him by his Byakugan has also endowed him with impressive evasive skills. Utilizing both his agility and the dojutsu allows him to dodge, evade and even counter the trickiest of attacks. Kayaku has also learned to read his enemies' attack patterns with the Byakugan, which greatly increases his already potent evasive skills. This is done by Kayaku paying close attention to the enemie's chakra system and body movements, allowing Kayaku to basically see when his opponent is about to attack.

Enhanced Physical Speed

Even without speed enhancing jutsu, Kayaku is naturally fast and now thanks to the tremendous raw strength in his legs, Kayaku's natural speed is more than enough to keep shinobi busy during battle. Allowing him to move fast enough to instantly close a gaps between him and his opponent. In battle, he can strike with incredible speed in rapid succession, making it highly difficult for his opponents to find an opening and counterattack. This allows him to react to the visual information given to him by his Byakugan, such as seeing incoming projectiles, or enemy jutsu or even dodging close range attacks that would be impossible to do so otherwise.

Matchless Man

Kayaku has gained a large degree of physical strength as a result of his life long Taijutsu training. Admittedly, Kayaku had intended to increase his striking power but unintentionally found many different uses for his unimaginable strength. Now honed to elite shinobi standards and possibly higher, Kayaku's strength is no doubt top tier. Kayaku's strength is mostly displayed is in his ability to seemingly punch, break or attack through anything. Whether this is attributed to the use of chakra or strength alone has yet to be determined. However, with his natural strength alone Kayaku can easily punch through most objects such as flesh, bones and wood, with the use of a chakra his striking power could extend to concrete, steel and even chakra constructs. As mentioned above, this strength also comes in handy with other situations as well, being a taijutsu master, Kayaku can easily attack or Defend against most his opponent's attacks with his bare hands.

Endurance of the Taijutsu Master

Another one of Kayaku's defining traits is his extreme level of physical endurance, like his physical strength Kayaku has trained his entire body in order for him to survive deadly attacks that was attributed to Taijutsu but in later years ninjutsu as well. Allowing him to survive most attacks or continue fighting with injuries capable of bringing even jounin to their knees. This, coupled with his incredible strength, make him an incredibly fearsome foe if forced to fight seriously.

Hyuga's Chakra Prowess

Like all Hyuga clan members Kayaku was born with an inherent ability to expel chakra from any or all Tenketsu, over the Years Kayaku has mastered the use of this ability and has gained exceptional amount of control of his chakra, It usually takes a shinobi a great deal of time and training to gain just an average amount of chakra control. However, in Kayaku's case things were different. Even as a young child, Kayaku was able to mould his own chakra. Now, as an adult and an S ranked Missing-nin, Kayaku's chakra control is otherworldly. Kayaku's innate talent allows him to precisely gather chakra from any part of his body and use any of his techniques to its maximum potential with no wasted chakra or timing. Kayaku has expanded his chakra control to the point that he is able to rapidly accumulate large amounts of chakra within his body without his enemies noticing, and unleash it from any tenketsu without any wasted effort.

A man in the foliage

Wahei was heading back towards Leaf in Hi no Kuni territory. He was a chunin now, so taking care of their leaded ones was more than an obligation. It was a regular mission, and at that point, things was suppose to be safe. - "Such a strange feeling" - "Someone is coming" - he suddenly stopped, making a sign, ignoring the crying out loud.

- Take this and head straight to Konoha. Our mission is done. I need to check on something. Please, hand it over and make a due report. - there was no other threats and, to be quite honest, he initially thought it was someone sent by Yuuta. But at this time and place? It was awkward. - This is an order. - he added in a cold but unusual heavy tone.

After the dismiss, he enacted the byakugan, but nothing was on spot. He closed his eyes to feel the energy and try to track its origins, but failed. - "What's going on?" - "Whatever it is, it's close. Stay sharp" - "At least... we are alone... for now".

All of sudden, a man showed up out of nowhere from the foliage. Even somehow knowing that someone was coming, he was still got by surprise. The man went straight with him, making his eyes and brows frown as a drop os sweat rolled down through his face. - "Who is this guy? Such a... intense energy" - "Whoever he is, he is no funny-dummy. Watch your ass, kid" - "He is out of our league. Hopefully, he is not an enemy" - "Do you know him?" - "No. He knows us. Sort of."

Wahei kept tracked on the conversation, though remained in silence for a while. He barely notice that his body reacted into the Yuken position, as his arms and legs flared into blue sharpened chakra, assuming the boy's fighting stance along with the triggered left eye.

The man's words cut deeper as a knife. He knew something as Wrath has indicated. This was confusing enough, but he mentioned his family and uncle. In a glimpse, Wahei remembered that Shigure once mentioned something about a nukenin in the clan. Someone really dangerous. Slowly it get clear to him what was happening, and how the odds could be cruel and turn regular situations into a life or death situation.

Tension spread throughout all his body and now he was more than sure this wasn't someone he could defeat. Hopefully, Wrath would be right and he wasn't an enemy. It was quite even more shocking when he made a question, suggestions about his body. What was his level of analysis power? For how long has he been observing Wahei? What was the chances that he could know he was a synthetic human just by the looking? Even for a skilled Hyuga it would be something quite difficult to identify the slightly tiny differences of his body from a real one. - Check mate. - he said, cracking a small honest smile.

Getting back at a regular stance, his eyes stared at the man in front of him, still curious about who'd he be. Wahei didn't remember the name Shigure has said because, at the time, it wasn't something quite import since it was only another story about the Hyuga family he always was talking about. - This was entrusted to me, so I can fulfill the legacy behind this eye. - he said, a even though he lacked on details, the message was legit. - You seem to be quite observant yourself, it seems, but Shigure has already told me enough - another honest point, albeit he didn't need to mention the fact the he couldn't recall the name - What matters is to know how dangerous you can be. - he shrugged.

His attitude showed that he recognizes the man's strength, specially the he was stronger than him, but also implied that he wouldn't simply bounce back. It wouldn't be the first time he'd be threatened by someone apparently overpower. - Is anything I can do for you, Mister..? - if he was willing to kill him, he'd probably do already. So it was better to jump to the point. Worst case scenario, he was one of those hunters who enjoy playing with the prey before the strike. If he were luck he could possibly even make it in one piece. But the curiosity in his nature would probably double cross him at some point.

"I'm nothing but a memory. I have no name. I have no present or future. All that I am now, is a missing number."

The Hyuga's eyes were hidden behind a smiling mask, without eyeholes. However, the Byakugan's sight pierced through it, and peered into Wahei's body, at first he simply gaze within the top layer of clothing. This habit was born from the need to survive. Shinobi were mysterious individuals, one could never truly know what type of weapons or items another shinobi had on them, however Kayaku's doujutsu helped marvelously in this area.

Although this wasn't always the case. Despite the fact that he wielded the Byakugan, Kayaku had been fooled once before. When Wahei instinctively fell into a fighting stance, Kāyaku's interest in who or what he was increased exponentially.

"Oh Interesting... I have never seen that stance before." his voice noticeably less ominous than it was beforehand. "So you know Shigure then? Maan... for Kami's sake. The clan's status in the village had to have dwindled considerably. I mean, if they're just giving Byakugan to just anyone. Hmm… Still for some reason i find you quite fascinating..." the more Kayaku's doujutsu scanned the younger shinobi the more the boy's body began to look more human than he had initially thought, simply because the differences were so slight, that he could only see it for a brief moment, however now everything ws blending together inside the boy, to the point that nothing besides the implanted Byakugan effectively seemed out of place.

"Hmph? It's gone..." Kayaku crept closer to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. Although he didn't show it, Kayaku was being cautious of the child's skill, despite his own prowess. He didn't need the Byakugan to see just how sharp the chakra coating the other shibobi's arms, down to the tip of his fingers, were. The chakra control needed to create such a blade was high indeed, not only that but if it were as the Elite Jounin assumed, then these blades were made to be precise and would yield surgical level wounds regardless of one's skill. Quick and clean cuts that would need little to no effort or movement in order to rend flesh and bone.

Of course Kayaku had more experience and was the stronger of the two, he wasn't impervious... he could still be harmed if he slipped up. "Mister? No need for the formalites. We aren't in Konoha and I'm not your teacher, you don't have to respect me or acknowledge who I am or what I've done. Out here, right now, you are the master of your actions and your actions will determine your fate. Look around boy... There aren't any jounin sensei, no ANBU Honcho, Head Medic or Kage. We are the masters of our own fate'' Kayaku spoke with genuine delight, as he explained abit about how the shinobi world worked, without the protection and order of a Hidden Village.

To Wahei or anyone else it could be seen as Kayaku glorifying Missing-nin life. Which wasn't the man's intentions, Rather, he was trying to tell Wahei that the two of them were simply Shinobi. Regardless of Wahei's duty to Konoha or the Hyuga's combat prowess. Right now, at this very moment the two of them were simply Kayaku and Wahei, just two shinobi. That said, Kayaku would give the boy the same level of respect as he would someone of his own skill. In the eyes of the S-ranked Missing-nin, Wahei was and is an Adult, so the boy didn't need to bite his tongue or use formalites when speaking.

"Although you might disagree with me, there is one perk of being a missing-nin" He said in a jovial tone, his voice dripping with a sense of childlike glee. Wanting to build suspense and add dramatic flare, the Hyuga waited momentarily before he'd speak again.

"That perk, shinobi whose name I don't know.. is simply Freedom, absolute and utter freedom. For me... it's as if I've become the Kage of my own fate, my own personal hidden village within myself."

While rambling on and coming to the conclusion of his spiel, Kayaku had taken off his Mask, revealing his patch ridden skin, scars of old burn wounds that had healed long before this meeting had occurred. Not only was his face now fully visible, but so too was his Byakugan. Kayaku's eyes despite being identical to any other Byakugan, gave a hint into the trials and struggles he had endured up until this point. This coupled with his scarred body could allow someone to surmise the reasoning behind his actions and how he had become the poetic killer he is today...

"Of course there are some cons to such a life, like if you get caught then there goes yer freedom. Hehehe not to mention there are people like myself who are absolute monsters in this shinobi world. Shinobi who could very well put the fabled tailed beast to shame" he finally concluded. He realized that the word mister had triggered him and As a result Kayaku triggered, fell into the rabbit hole and ended up rambling on as if the boy wanted a change of life; who in their right mind would want Kayaku's life as it currently was? Not even Kayaku wanted such a life...

well at least at first he didn't…

"Enough about me, Tell me, How do you know Shigure and How did you come to acquire that particular Byakugan eye? I'm sure there were others that you could have gotten. Why that one? Oh, and I do hope you indulge me and return the respect that I have given. You see... It is fairly difficult for me to step on an Ant and not crush it." Kayaku said, his tone never changing, his body never falling into a fighting stance or tensing up, there was no sense of the man readying himself to attack or defend... that is to say nothing other than his words to Wahei, which was a threat warped by Kayaku's poetic, melodramatic persona and flowery metaphoric speech pattern.

Friend of my friend.

- Wait, what? - Wahei's eyes narrowed as he assumed a confused expression - Oh! I'm sorry. - he said, chuckling over the man explanation - I was just trying to make a breach for you to introduce yourself, although I don't think it would be necessary anymore. - his eyes got to normal as the boy throwed a glance towards the man's eyes, not bothered by his apparance. His byakugan was reading him as well, and the nature of his emotions were far beyond what the boy had seen so far. And that was simply amazing.

- I hesitated at first because I wasn't sure it was you, Kayaku-sama. - how could he possibly know his name? - Shigure told me a lot about you and honestly, I didn't expect that we would end meeting up like this. - he admitted, enchanted by the beauty behind the odds and promptly responding the obvious question - I got no words to tell you how great is the pleasure to finally give a face to the name. - The boy would've bow in respect, though he decided not to in attendance to the very request of such intriguing man. Choosing not formality, his posture become chill and pretty comfortable. After all, the friend of my friend is my friend, right?

- I am... - he hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should use his given name as a form of introduction under that situation - Well, it's quite a long story actually... But I think you'd better know me if you learn the name my adoptive mother gave me when she took me in. - it seemed to be a lot behind that explanation, but they would eventually find the time to catch up - Kazuhira Tsukuru Wahei - he give him a discreet nod, wondering if Shigure has ever mentioned his name to Kayaku, since the other way around was water clear true - But today, I'm known as Missingno. - and seemed there was even more behind the second one.

As Wahei first noted, the most interesting part was that both of them had a lot of common connections. So even though the odds for their meeting were low, it was not lower to the odd of them never had met before. Tricks of destiny, perhaps? They would never know. - Shigure is my best friend. Together, we found out some really dirty stuff about Natsuo's death. He told me he filled you in during your last meeting. - he was talking about the plots of the Hyuga clan, which was quite interesting to Kayaku since Shigure promised to pledge Kayaku as innocence of the charges there was put upon his head. Of course the boy didn't have the details but he could make some assumptions. - Those are long stories, actually. Perhaps we could find a more pleasant place for such conversation? - Wahei didn't feel threat anymore, even though the man could beat his sorry as with the current different of power among them. The funny part of MissingNo is that he could combine the temper and special traits of the personas, meaning that his line of thinking and acting was quite curious and straight to the point. - Shall we?

As they would eventually move - or not - Wahei would start telling him about his current role. Having Kayaku as an ally to the Leaf again would certainly be a good thing, specially if Wahei manage to maintain a parawell connection with him as a contributor and possible future member of the Ne. Strong alliances was vital to their future plan.

- So my connection with the Hyuga clan is pretty much umbillical, if I'm allowed to say it. Anyway, thanks to the love of Natsuo for my past adoptive mother, this eye has became my legacy. And during my journey so far I've manage to make a lot of improvement because of this very dojutsu, and I actually feel as though it was really part of me now. - his tone were neutral and cold, meaning that he was not bragging about having such powerful tool at his disposal. In a silent way, Wahei was showing deep respect to everything the eye meant to him. - My medical knowledge also improved as well. I can sort of read people with my byakugan, which help me to move forward with Shinsuke tasks and Yuuta sensei ressearch. - his life seemed to have been circlying like in some sort of very crazy spiral - Not to mention the Yuken, of course. - he nod with a thoughtful expression, then looking back at the man with a genuine but quite curious kind smile.

"I'm nothing but a memory. I have no name. I have no present or future. All that I am now, is a missing number."

"there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.".
Hyuga Kayaku

Legendary

Kayaku readied himself for the rehearsed mock history the Hidden leaf had instilled into the child's mind. As far as he was concerned, stealing the Doujutsu of an aging Hyuga is more important than honoring the clan's oldest tradition, which kept the Byakugan inside the clan itself. Kayaku knew that the hidden leaf wouldn't be able to simply do as it pleased, which could only mean that the Hyuga clan was in cahoots as well. Kayaku knew that this would have been covered up, if it were public knowledge the Soke branch Hyuga would no longer be able to argue the use of the Kago no Tori no Juin, Caged Bird Seal. A scandal such as this would cause a civil war between the Soke and Bunke Hyuga.

Although he didn't know it at the moment, Kayaku's assumptions couldn't be further from the truth. "Kayaku-sama, has a nice ring to it but don't think your flattery and respectful flair will gain you any leeway my boy. I'm not so easily moved" he'd spat, despite the reality being a stark contrast of the man's words. He was humble, modest yet confident in his skills and aware of his reputation. However, ever since his childhood the former heir had always become… embarrassed. Even now, standing in front of the younger Shinobi, blood was rushing underneath his skin. His face turned blood red, his ears burning filled with an overwhelming sensation. The older Shinobi kept a staunch poker face throughout the entire ordeal; an odd sight to see, to say the least.

"A better place to talk?! Smart kid smart kid. Listen carefully to me, my young Doujutsu thief. I know of a place we can go to talk without interruption. Tōdai-ji Dojo". Yeah, that's the place where we can get everything sorted. Thing is, are you capable enough to even go there?"

There was a stark contrast in his tone by the time Kayaku had finished. His theatrical flare, ostentatiousness and flowery sentences full of metaphor, became something else; a deep dreadful seriousness which did little to convey the true perils Kayaku faced when going to and from Tōdai-ji, the Dojo he had built by his own hands. "From what you've said so far, I'm inclined to believe you. However, not because of how convincing you were, boy. Rather, because it doesn't seem like information the village would be privy to. The Hyuga clan are a people of nobility doused in pride, pomp and circumstance. These traits combined with being a founding clan enabled them over the years to gain a sense of anonymity, becoming an enigma to others. Though even before joining the hidden village, the Hyuga has always kept their secrets close to home"

Suddenly Kayaku started walking away from Missingno, but didn't stop talking; after all the older Hyuga was more than positive that the boy would follow; at least that is If he were anything like Shigure or even worse like his Sensei Gure Yuuta. What MissingNo did not know was that Kayaku purposefully built the Dojo within an unforgiving and unsoiled area within Hi no Kuni as a way to test the worthiness of those who sought to be trained by him.

I'll say this once… If you choose not to make the journey; forfeit the Byakugan right now and I'll allow you to live. However, if you choose to come and fail. I'll snatch the Doujutsu from your socket with my bare hands and leave you where you stand"

"He is a weapon, a killer. Do not forget it. You can use a spear as a walking stick, but that will not change its nature.

Test.

Shigure didn't talk much about Kayaku. But when he did, his tone usually was something more serious than usual. There was also a thin layer of respect deep down the whole... hesitation or sensitive subject weirdness about his legend. Considering what Wahei knew about the nukenin's background - which wasn't exactly much - he was quite fascinated for his natural authority.

Although he had a trained byakugan at this point, even now it was quite hard for him to tell what he was actually thinking or feeling. The man was a rock. And so, Wahei decided to use the silent at his favor as the man seemed to have a taste for talking. Sometimes, an active listening was thousand words worth. - I understand. 'not a thief though. - his tone was firm, but free of threats. He would stand for his honor in that point, he never stolen anything from anyone. That very eye was his legacy, and so he strong believed.

His words though were so kindly inserted into the conversation that it would probably not even be noticed, and soon he revealed their destination:  Tōdai-ji Dojo. - "Never heard of it" - "I do" - "How so?" - "Long story. Another time, perhaps." - "Huh. Okay." - Wrath didn't use to jump into conversations and giving details like these, but Wahei decided to ignore the fact that he did, since Kayaku started acting even more mysterious than before.

- Usually it's easier, but you're quite hard to read through - he admitted, joking around with the fact that he was defenseless in that very ground. - I quite admire it to be frank. - and he was telling the truth. There was something outstanding about Kayaku that granted him with such authority and strength. Shigure also had that, but even in his case it was different. - I wonder if you could taught me to reach that level. - for all he had heard, if there was any hyuga he would wish to have personal lessons and instructions, it was certainly the mysterious Hyuga Kayaku

"You know what they say" - Fear cracked him out of his thoughts - "Be careful what you wish for" - No sooner said than done. Kayaku had made plans of his own. And Wahei was walking to a very thin ice now that he had called his attention. But he had to play along, think outside the box and focus on the future. Just like the MissingNo - I'll just ignore the forfeiting crap you just said. And if I do, I'll rip this eye myself for not being worth of it. - his tone were dead serious, with no single drop of hesitation.

- Now, what exactly do you have in mind? I've been around your clan long enough to learn you're better with your gentle fist than words. - he could feel the tension rising up - And basically everything is a fucking test. - he walked side by side along with the nukenin, yet attentive though as chill as the situation allowed him to be. It was as though he had just become a whole different person.

"He is many things - dangerous and devious, cunning and deadly, a good friend and an implacable enemy.".
Hyuga Kayaku
Legendary

Never heard of it…

The words cut through Kayaku's being sharper than any Shinobi weapon ever could. So much so that the nuke-nin had to use nearly all of his will power to not break character and stoop so low to argue the existence and prestige of his Dojo. Of course the younger Shinobi wasn't wrong, Kayaku had only finished building the main hall several months ago. To be frank, Kayaku could have finished with the entire project much sooner. If it weren't for allowing himself to be side tracked by someone or another. At this very moment, just as he had his entire life, Kayaku found himself becoming immersed in someone else's business.

"What has Shigure told you about me? I suspect he has filled you in on who I am and what I was supposed to be?" Kayaku was talking about his past, the former heir to the Hyuga clan, the man he once was before he had defected, before becoming "Seishin", within the minor nations or falling in love with a Jashinist and becoming Borei no Hyuga. It all seemed so distant to the man now, so much has happened since then, so many people lost yet so many others gained. However, despite all of his trial and errors, triumphs and failures, Kayaku couldn't be happier than he is now.

"Let me say this, The Hyuga clan and the village have got it all wrong about me. Yeah, I've killed maybe a dozen or so Shinobi but they all deserved it. Well… not when I was with Jirou. Now that's an entirely different story. We killed for fun… " Kayaku was surprisingly straightforward with the Byakugan thief(a term he'd use until he's convinced otherwise). He wasn't sure why he felt as comfortable as he did with sharing certain information with the younger Shinobi; however, it should be noted that it felt natural to do so. Which was a stark contrast when compared to Shigure, who simply annoyed Kayaku to the point of the nuke-nin doing whatever Shigure wanted.

"You're much different than Shigure… wait, you mentioned Yuuta? You don't mean both of you were his students?" Kayaku let out a loud and exasperated sigh before continuing. "Honestly, the fact that your Sensei is that fungus explains a lot. That klutz instilled in you such fearlessness… It could be considered insanity." Kayaku said, trying to make small talk as they walked through the Hi no kunian forest. "Before you go and protest my words, hear me out. Look at what's going on this very moment, you went from being relatively safe, to now traveling to an unknown Dojo", admitting the lack of renown his Dojo held was painful for the Hyuga but he tried to not let it show.

"With an S-rank missing-nin, cannibal and someone who has committed matricide" he paused due to the ground below them becoming ridged, rocky and altogether harder to walk upon.

"Only insanity nurtured by the likes of that man...Gure Yuuta could instill in you such fearlessness and reckless abandon. However… Insanity isn't always a bad thing. I'm not sure if you can tell but I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it" Kayaku said, belittling and praising the boy's tutelage simultaneously. Despite Kayaku's words, he knew that Gure Yuuta was in fact an ideal teacher, despite his various unorthodox methods. Having been conditioned by the Gure just might help the boy reach Tōdai-ji at the very least. As the two of them walked, Kayaku surveyed the surrounding areas for both Konoha Shinobi and familiar environmental markers that ensured he was going in the right direction.

However to the Doujutsu thief it would appear as if Kayaku's nearly inaudible stride was random and constantly changing. The sudden shifts in directions fixed the two of them on a path towards Hi no kuni's mountainous regions; far north of the country's hidden village. The dense forest that once shielded them from the sun's rays and prying eyes began to thin. The extra sunlight illuminated the Kayaku's physique and ragged clothing. Rips and tares in the cloth revealed marred skin, and well toned muscles. Patches of varying colors lit up all over the Hyuga's body. However, they were badly stitched into the fabric, as if the man had once tried to mend the clothing but failed. On his face, Kayaku donned a newly acquired mask, its pristine condition was an extreme contrast when compared to the rest of his outfit.

"It'll only get harder from here. Please be careful not to get mauled, maimed or break a leg"

Playing with... not so gentle fists.

Kayaku were someone quite intense and it was hard to follow his line of thoughts or feelings. Wahei knew he would have to rely on his own guts to deal with him. It all made quite lot sense for him though when the nukenin mentioned he didn't suffered from anxiety, but enjoyed every minute of it. He smiled, wondering if that's how some of his persona friends felt about it too. - "Ha-ha. Fuck you" - "I've never said a word".

The boy would though explain to him what he knew, which was basically what he had already said indeed, which in some points fit with the figure he was seeing in front of him, and with his very own words about himself. Other details, though, he was learning just there by observing and listening to what he had to say. - Though in my opinion, the man seems quite more intersting than the legend. - he chuckled, for some reason reminding at the time he heard people talking about Yuuta, thinking how funny it was the difference of actually knowing someone compared to what you heard of them. - "Perhaps someday someone will meet this difference regard me too?" - It was fun to think of those things.

"I like this guy" - "Huh? Gluttony?" - "Yes. That's my name" - "I know that's your name. It's just... unnusual to see you around here" - "I'm always around, specially during meal time. This man has called my attention. Let's make a friend of him" - "Misfits get a hitch for each other, apparently" - "Oh, my dear. You know nothing."

As a matter of fact, Wahei was a better listener than a speaker and so as they walked towards this 'mysterious dojo', he plenty dedicated himself to actively observe and listen. Some awkward tension started to grow as they approached the place, which also broke the boy's impression over the way Kayaku stated how he enjoyed insanity. The boy was aware that things were about to get serious, and they pretty much did. Gluttony words certainly added a creepy tone to the whole scene, but Kayaku's warning was the breakingpoint of the Chunin's silence. - With all due respect, I do not expect to die here today. - he said, with a firm nod. - After all, Shigure-san will need his right-hand in one fucking piece when he stood up for the Hokage's chair. - he assumed the stance of fighting, already knowing what was about to come. Even though he wasn't a fighter, he was a tough challenging one and had the chance of fighting quite few harsh and sturdy opponents so far.

Wahei stepped aside. MissingNo would have to jump-in from now on. After all, he have been told about the potential of the man in front of him, and he was no fool for playing with.... not so gentle fists.
