The young Gurē was back at the Academy's training grounds, this time in the largest indoor dōjo, which was full of equipment for taijutsu or bukijutsu training. The walls and racks next to them were adorned with various weapons for students to use in their quest to hone their skills. As seen by An, there were a lot of poles and punching bags of various materials and shapes meant to hone the body, which those more proficient or interested in taijutsu used quite frequently.

An was severely lacking in Taijutsu skills, not to the point of failing a class at the Academy, but to the point of being jealous of her classmates who were faster or stronger than her. An understands that not everyone is good at everything, but her classmate's remarks had gotten the best of her. "An you are so weak, your kicks and punches barely hurt me!" exclaimed a fellow Advanced Taijutsu classmate during one of their mock battles. Being An, she took it personally, and even though the said classmate meant no harm with her remark, she immediately applied for supplementary lessons in Kirigakure Style Taekwondo the next day.

That's how she ended up in the dojo she was in at the time. Waiting for her instructor, not knowing who it was, dressed in the standard training uniform, with her belongings stowed against one of the walls. "I'll show you that my kicks and punches can also hurt!" she clenched her fist, recalling the humiliation she felt just a few days ago.

Finally it was Friday time for Asuka’s favorite class to teach for the day, Taijutsu instruction she would have the Indoor dojo all to herself to teach her class however most of the time the class was canceled since there weren’t many people so imagine her elation when she was told that she’d finally be able to teach the course.

As she made her way inside she’d find herself dressed in a special outfit a white and black jumpsuit she used to wear back when she was a genin along with a whistle in her hand. She was overjoyed and could only imagine the legion of students that she’d have at her disposal.

As the girl would enter into the room the door would slide open she’d puff out her chest. "Alright everyone who’s ready for class!” as she spoke however she’d find herself only with one single student. ”An chan! Welcome!” the girl would say overjoyed to see the younger girl she had helped her with her chakra control but never thought she’d see her here of all places.

"Where are the others, I’m sure they’re just running late right?” the girl would say eager to see more of her students, but was unfortunately in for a degree of disappointment.

However in the process of doing so she was caught with a strike to the gut by her opponent and pushed further into the mist for now she awaits her opponents next move.

Heavy Handed Iron Fist:
With the rigorous training that Asuka had to endure as she honed her body to levels of perfection rivaling that of any martial arts master. Asuka's strength has increased 10 fold to the point where she is able to crush stoned within her grasp and breaks bones of lesser individuals with ease. And while she still has much to learn as a chunin. The youth's power is not one to be challenged lightly, as she is able to perform physical feats that would seem inhuman to even most shinobi.

Hijutsu: Kinu no Eikyō:
Asuka is a member of the Waruichi clan and as such has the ability to control a special chakra infused silk that was forged by a special group of silkworms that feed on the corpses of dead clansmen. With it Asuka can craft and shape the silk to her will and uses it in a mostly supplementary fashion to aid her in battle alongside her powerful taijutsu skills.

Iron Burst:
As a sole practitioner of Taijutsu Asuka has relentlessly pushed her body against itself for spectacular results: her strength carries over into her speed, and as such alongside the control she exerts body in spirit and in mind, she is intensely faster than those of a similar level of strength and maneuvering expertly as if the air were an extension of her own body.

During Asuka's time as a genin the youth had begun to realize that in order to excel as a shinobi she needed to learn how to properly utilize her chakra. And while she doesn't posses the greatest of reserves the youth has learned through rigorous meditation how to keep her chakra still and calm. As a result she is now able to wield it with a great deal of control and is able to channel only the necessary amounts of chakra into the few jutsu she uses in order to make the most of their abilities whilst still being able to keep up in a fight.

It didn't take long for the dojo door to slide open, revealing a female figure. It was, to her surprise, Asuka, a teacher she had previously met and liked a lot. "Ehe... it's just me, Asuka-sensei," she replied, looking at the older female and slightly disappointing her. "But I'll work like a hundred people!" was a bluff, to be sure, but it was the younger female's way of cheering up the other.

An rose and approached Asuka, standing directly in front of her. "Sensei, I will learn it well and ensure that more people attend your class in the future," she meant that by learning the skill well and displaying it in her taijutsu class, others would be envious of her and want to learn from Asuka as well, making her class more popular. Though much was emitted from her speech and left in the young Gure's mind.

"I really want to learn Kirigakure Style Taekwondo because it looks so cool!" she had seen a demonstration of it in one of her classes and thought it was quite beautiful and efficient, even for a bukijutsu user, as it could be used by both taijutsu and bukijutsu practitioners. Which was exactly what she needed.

"O-only one person came…” the girl would say feeling a little dejected, she’d then turn her head and begin to woefully pound it against the wall, with very pitiful presses of her fist against the wall. "No one ever wants to take my lessons.” she’d say feeling a little saddened by the lack of attention her subject of choice had gotten. However as the girl would overhear the young mushroom say that she would study her techniques with the ferocity of a hundred students and that she’d work with the vigor of 100 students in order to ensure that more people attended her classes. Seeing this would cause the girl to turn around a renewed look of vigor on her face. "Thank you An!” she’d say wiping the tears from her eyes using her bandages on her wrist.

"So umm…let’s begin.” she’d say through a sniffle. The girl would assume a stance placing one foot forward the other behind her with one hand facing towards the ground and the other up by the side of her face. "We’ll start by assuming the position.” the girl would remark her stance was haughty and open the girl herself was filled with a renewed energy. "Tell me do you know the history of this style and why it was invented?” the girl would remark looking to the little mushroom.

An now had to be the finest student ever in the wake of her bold statements. She consequently adopted Asuka's position and followed her lead. One of her feet was in front of the other, and she had one hand facing down and the other up next to her face. An did not feel the stance at all naturally. Even though she had frequently observed and practiced comparable postures as part of the fundamental taijutsu stances during her classes, even three years later, it still seemed strange. An appeared to be a complete jumble from the side and felt pretty stiff. She was not particularly strong in taijutsu.

The young girl was holding the stance when the startling inquiry caught her off guard. In all honesty, she had no background knowledge on the subject; all she could recall was that the technique was appropriate for both taijutsu and bukijutsu practitioners and that it presumably originated in Kirigakure she responded, though it sounded more like a question. "It was invented in Kirigakure, and taijutsu and bukijutsu experts use it. And that is all I am aware of,” since she had no use for pretending to know something she did not, An answered truthfully.

As the girl would get into her stance she’d watch her students motions to see how well she was coming along but noticed that she seemed to be struggling with getting her stance together properly. Once she did get herself into place she would remark with the exact origins of the martial art which brought a warm smile onto the girls face. "Very good!” after the girl would enter her stance she’d walk over towards her student observing her and looking for weaknesses in her positioning.

She’d take her arms and situate them in the proper position with gentle presses of her for arm and would slide her foot underneath the girls feet in order to increase the spacing making it come off as a bit more natural. "You’re stance needs work, that’s how it should look.” if you’re arm aren’t properly placed you won’t be able to properly land your strikes or move how you need too with the techniques you’re attempting to use.

"Now then exit the stance and try to recreate the positioning I just gave you, understand?” the girls voice was gentle but still authoritative she wanted her to give her best. "I won’t be correcting you with a gentle press of the hand next time.” she’d warn stating that her corrections might be a tad more forceful next time but not enough to cause any serious damage.

The older female's touch was both gentle and firm. In a matter of seconds, Asuka was able to correct An's stance. The older woman was undoubtedly an expert in this technique, as An was astounded by how quickly she saw through all of the flaws in the young girl's pose. "Yes, sensei," she replied, still not fully feeling the stance, but it was an improvement over how it was before her teacher's guidance. The corrected pose felt much more natural, which helped An understand why it had felt so stiff and unnatural just a few moments before.

An exited the pose per the others' instructions, after staying in it for some time to fully grasp the essence of this move. The blue-haired girl remembered the instructions and corrections she had received before moving into the stance on her own. Her feet were slightly apart, and her weight shifted to her back leg, giving the front leg the lightness it requires for any maneuver the leg is to perform, such as stomping. One of her palms was facing the floor, and the other was next to her face. "How about now, Asuka-sensei, am I doing okay?" she asked, keeping her stance. The pose came out much better than before, but the real judge would be the teacher.

As the girl would correct her stance to make certain if her stance was correct she’d allow the opportunity to do it again after doing so the girl’s pose seemed to be nearly correct however the positioning on her back leg was slightly off she was squatting on it just a bit too much she’d give the girl a light tap with her leg on the back of her quad it would feel like a very small charlie horse.

"Don’t squat on the back of your leg so much, adjust your leg just a bit more.” she’d keep walking around her noting that her hand was just slightly off, she’d give a gentle tap to raise it up just a slightly more firm. "Almost perfect, give it one more try and then we can work on the actual technique.” the girl had hoped she wasn’t being too stiff with her, An was small after all.

She kept her tapping light not enough to leave a bruise but enough pain to cause a small sting a very light form of corporal discipline. Afterwards she’d look over at her noting her form and how she seemed to have picked it up relatively easily which was good but "good” wasn’t good enough she needed to make sure it was perfect and she wouldn’t take anything short of it for her students sake.

Her teacher appeared to be pleased with her pose for a brief moment, but it was far from perfect. An felt a slight pressure on her body as she changed her stance a few more times, as the older female had instructed; removing the pressure from her back leg and straightening it up, so she didn't squat as much. To be honest, staying still and getting the proper stance was not as easy as An had imagined, or at least it was not how it usually went down in the taijutsu classes. Due to a large number of students, the teacher did not have the luxury of paying complete attention to each and every student in the lesson. Not to say that the lectures were bad, but one-on-one classes were quite different. A few sweat drops had formed along the young Gure's side hairline, indicating that she had hopefully perfected her stance.

An stepped out of the pose for a brief moment, stretching her body and shaking the tension out of her limbs before readjusting and returning to the correct stance. "How about right now, Asuka-sensei?" she asked, her voice slightly tense from the tension she had felt just a moment before, as finding the right pose had taken a long time. "Am I now prepared to learn the actual technique?" despite the fact that a few drops of sweat were dripping down her cheeks, her light-blue eyes were bright with excitement.

After re-checking her students form she made certain to see if everything was perfectly up to snuff with the way that she carried herself, her body was positioned just as it needed to be and her stance just about right. Asuka did one last walk over and then looked to her student and smiled. "Excellently done!” afterwards she’d stand beside her.

"Alright now follow me okay An!” Asuka would begin to lift her leg and then stomp it onto the ground, whilst sliding the instep of her foot. "Hee-ya!” the maneuver was simple if not a tad repetitive and perhaps even a little boring but fundamentals are key to properly excelling in any particular skillset.

And she did her best to attempt to impart that onto the littlest mushroom. With that she’d repeat the maneuver quite a few times checking on An to make sure that she got it as close as she could to perfect, stopping to take a break every so often. Her foot would more than likely be sore by the end of it.

"Alright An, now it’s your turn to show me your form!”

The girl would ask as she stood in front of her student waiting for her to give her a demonstration of the technique in a practical sense, the woman creating a clone of herself for her to contend with.

Asuka had moved close enough to An for the young girl to properly observe her teacher’s demonstration. Fundamentally, the technique was relatively simple even to a young academy student, but witnessing how long it took merely to perfect the stance before attempting the skill demonstrated to the young child that just because something appears simple on the surface does not mean it is. Particularly with regard to taijutsu skills.

Her teacher wasn't just showing her the jutsu for An to observe. An began to mimic the technique exactly as shown to her after carefully observing what the elder female was doing. An moved slowly and uncertain at first, as coordinating her body to move right was a challenge in and of itself, but after a good time of repeating the same step over and again, An began to grasp it; lift her leg, stomp it onto the ground while sliding the instep of her foot.

"Yes!” An prepared to show Asuka what she had learned. "Ha!" she said as she released a short breath. She took the stance she had studied, elevated her leg, pounded it into the ground, and slipped the instep of her foot. The small girl would keep doing this until the older female decided it was enough. One thing was certain: both of An's feet were quite sore, and they would be even more so tomorrow.

The instructor stood off to the side, arms folded across the chest in quiet contemplation of the form and skill. There was still room for improvement but An was not a taijutsu master by any stretch, so what she was accomplishing was pretty impressive in its own right. It took her a while though, and Asuka did not say a word, she simply stood there occasionally fixing small things in An's stance or the way she was stomping. She would get it eventually, though the girl would find that her foot was likely quite sore from the repeated impact.

In the end though, Asuka would nod finding An's progress to be satisfactory.

"You did well, do not forget to continue to practice. It takes years to polish a technique, and you will find yourself progressing nicely in due time with good practice."

Practice did not make perfect, perfect practice made perfect and she hoped that An would continue on with her good form. Of course, some practice in combat would be good too. This often helped solidify techniques on the fly and also gauged whether one was actually doing enough to cause harm or put up defenses.

Either way it seemed that not with the end of the day coming, An would have to sleep on it and let the technique soak into her body to be used and practiced another day in the future.
