Toshizou had put back his mask and when the explosion happened, he used the opportunity to leave the place, quickly finding one of the secret passages that lead him down to the Foundation, the headquarters of Root. Meanwhile, Tsukimono, who was escaping on his own right, saw the two ANBU members there, ready to intercept him. Only... The one with the Monkey mask was just pretending to oppose him, making his real opponent solely the man with the bird mask. "Pushing your luck, piece of shit!" the masked man said as he drew his tipless, straight blade from his back. The man would charge at Tsukimono, he wasn't incompetent, but it was clear that Bukijutsu was not his main specialty. When he advanced, he was somewhat open, but the window was quite narrow. If the Inuzuka wanted to get out of there quickly, he would need to be decisive in his blow, claiming the man's life and heading towards the place Toshizou had indicated before. The night was dark, no moon in the sky, perfect for this type of escape. It seemed like the Hatake had planned this thoroughly, or at least adapted well to what the circumstances offered him.      Just like Toshizou said, the Monkey was staying out of it. That meant he had more time to prepare his counter than he thought. He was well above a clearly untrained swordsman. Judging by the run he wasn’t a Tai specialist either. Tsukimono tossed the sword forward, aiming for the head, but he wasn’t exactly a marksman by any means. It would just open up a precious second for him to weave together two hand seals. The veins in his hands would begin to bulge, and Tsukimono’s fingernails would sharpen to fine points. The Restless Eagles Talons would make his nails as hard and sharp as the blade he had just been wielding, and he’d push off the wall at full force. "This has nothing to do with luck,” Tsukimono would growl his words at his opponent. 

    His aim with a sword might not have been phenomenal, but his claws would be a different story. Heading straight for the throat of his opponent he’d simply rip it to shreds. If the Bird Brain didn’t have a way to stop the stab to the throat it would be a rather short combat for both sides, Tsukimono’s hands covered with the blood of the fallen shinobi. His pounce on the ground would see him on all fours regardless of if his target had fallen or not, and Tsukimono knew quite well this position. He’d shift his weight, and push more chakra throughout his body, entering into a technique all Inuzuka learn in their Shinobi careers. Activating the Four Legs Technique saw the shinobi’s body increase in speed and agility. He’d check to make sure his prey was dead, but if that was the case then he would dash off into the night, letting out a loud Howl to alert his dogs to his whereabouts. He just had to trust that they’d hear him from wherever they were.

SHIKOKU The eagle masked man used his blade to try and block Tsukimono's sword attack, but he was almost too slow, and although he avoided a fatal spot, he was still slashed on the shoulder. "Ugh!!!" the man grunted, and before he could react again, the claws did its job, ripping the masked man's throat to shreds, claiming his life as his body fell limp on the ground in a loud thud. With the Four Legs Technique, he managed to flee the place with quite the speed, and in a short amount of time, he would find himself near one of the secret entrances leading to the Foundation, where Root's headquarters were being rebuilt. If he followed through the dark path, he would finally find himself deep beneath the Hidden Leaf Village, in an area with a cross-shaped walkway. Below it there was a deep Abyss going further down into the earth, so far below it was impossible to see with the naked eye. The area had many stairs and rooms leading to training facilities, laboratories, and prisons. But in the middle of the cross-shaped walkway, Hatake Toshizou stood, with a smirk on his face. "Welcome to the Foundation, Shikoku." he said, using his newest code name, the one he would be using in Root, as its newest operative. "You can train a dog with food. You can buy a person with money.
