Had Ahma told someone that they'd probably not be in the same place by the time the Exams were over, yes. Yes, she did. Does she regret it? Not even a bit. That squeamish teen she talked to was all the more just a pre-painted canvas, already marching to a death he was unbeknownst off. Walking from her temp shelter, she continued on an aimless journey west, the destination oddly had a location but it was nowhere near the end of her personal journey. She just needed to get out of stone country and into Bird Country as soon as humanly possible. The Nuke was almost certain in the fact that she hadn't angered anyone, but staying in one place too long was bound to draw attention.

It helped that, as far as she knew, existed as a legend and it would stay that way as long as she kept moving. Since her mission with Kazui, Ahma always wondered what exactly happened to the kid they rescued. Her cries for help haunted the dreams of Ahma but the adolescent knew better than to hang out dreams of the past. She could never outrun them but she certainly could try. She stayed off public roads, jumping instead from branch to branch in the middle of the forest of Stone country. She didn't want to be seen by the minor shinobi residents nor hang around for a mercenary to show up, all that she could think of was to just keep moving.

She did want to see Hotaru again, she still wanted to thank him for her recent inauguration to SinK. But, she had no proof, evidence, or even a clue if any active members were at the Orphanage right now, she still felt it was good to check in, especially after her recent personal escapade. Maybe she could make a report about it later, she saw absolutely no need to and didn't have to. But, it would probably be nicer to give a heads-up, instead of barging in with the children she has waiting in her cave. She just needed to make sure the path was clear for delivery. Much better than moving and being vulnerable. Yes... it is more than possible to have an aimless journey while still doing something, a task that didn't dictate her overall story. She did wonder if she'll encounter any Knzai, and inform them of the news that is years old right now.

She kept moving forward but stopped jumping suddenly. Brining a hand to her chest as she leaped to the ground. Ahma looked side to side and again, and again. She felt an unease like something or someone was watching her. Of course, this shot alarms blaring through her head as this was supposed to be a safe path to the Orphanage. Well, supposed didn't always mean will. This feeling of unease was like a cloud of dread washing over her and the woman clenched her right fist as she lowered her left hand. Looking around angrily, Ahma concluded that she needed to find whatever was causing this feeling, destroy it, and continue scouting the path. She was practically leading a march of children, all of who adored her almost like a mother, to the SinK Orphanage, where they'd stay until they were adopted by a civilian family. But, if she felt a threat only part-way through Stone Country, then that meant the path she chose wasn't safe and needed a resolution.

The problem was this so far felt like a bad feeling, there was no evidence it was anything physical. The Hachisuka continued walking towards her destination. It would take a bit but getting there was suddenly a secondary objective. "Um, is anyone here? Whoever you are... make your presence known." The words echoed between the trees and open air, echoing until no longer audible. The young woman felt like she was prey now. Once again, she felt like she was hunted, and to say it ended would be a lie, she was always hunted. Just this time, she didn't feel like running.

Gearing up for a fight with potentially anything, Ahma whispered a silent prayer before touching her chest. Her clothes and skin glossed over and reflected light better as they appeared smoother. She wasn't afraid anymore.

To say she had an inkling of knowledge of whether her hunch was correct or not was an overstatement of her abilities, Ahma was simply overtly paranoid. She's so used to being chased and being hunted that it wore on her mentality. Of course, she was also paranoid as she was to bring children through this route and was supposed to deliver them safely to the orphanage. Right now, she didn't particularly feel safe. Ahma continued her slow walk, mostly in the dark foliage shadows to hide her glistening armor. It was overall a safe walk but Ahma didn't take any chances, watching and scanning her environment with each step.

Slight movement in the trees stole her attention and she let out a quiet gasp followed by an even quieter growl coming from her throat. Ahma clenched her fists, eyes locked on the tree. What specifically moved? The Shoton user stayed in place, watching as her eyes began to dart in the area around her. Suddenly, an arrow came from behind her to place a hanging note on the tree in front of her. The Hachisuka turned on a dime to see... nothing. Whoever shot the arrow was quite literally gone. The Kunoichi closed her eyes in frustration before examing the paper. It was a crude piece of paper with hurrily written text.

Crumbling the paper in between her hands, Ahma let out a quiet growl as she looked around, tearing it to shreds as she dug her foot into the ground. "Then come and get her!" The Hachisuka stomped her foot and looked around. The armor of crystal flickering brighter as sunlight bled through the leaves in the moving air. She waited and waited, but no one was there, it was to the point where even a breath could set the girl off, but that too did not come. After lingering a bit longer than needed, Ahma walked away, peeling her gaze back to the road, she had to continue moving on.

She couldn't get stuck in a goose chase if she had to assure one very specific path was safe. The girl was certain in the fact she might have traveled more than halfway through Stone country by now since that incident. But she couldn't linger too much on it. Her gait became slower as she became aware that path was still in Ishigakure territory, a very minor nation she could take, but her pursuer. That was a different story. Did she know who it was, most likely not, given the way that note was written, it rubbed her the wrong way. If she was being pursued and she had a small village to worry about, wouldn't it be wiser to call for another?

Most likely would be her best bet for a successful exfiltration. However, Ahma was of the mind that if she couldn't do this alone, she wouldn't be a viable operative for Sai no Kawara.

Minutes turned to hours with hours becoming an indistinguishable amount of time. The young woman's steps were careful and cautious, perhaps too cautious. It made her journey much longer but she'd rather be too careful here than not careful at all. Ahma began sneaking around, listening to the area round around her, it did bother her that aside from the note, no extra forces seemed to be around her. She felt like her sneaking around felt pointless. Until 2 shinobi appeared ten meters in front of her. Ahma hid behind trees and bramble as she did her hardest to breathe quietly.

"Hmmm... thought I saw someone..." One voice spoke, clearly on the lower end of verbal intonation. "Remind me why you were running?" The two began a conversation in the middle of Ahma's path. The latter laying low as she heard in to the men speaking. "Children have been going missing in these parts... I want to find and kill the people responsible." The other man looked around and sighed. "We won't find them if we're standing around. Come on, let's finish our patrol first, then figure what to do next." The other spewed a rationale that the deeper-voiced shinobi simply absorbed and processed. It took a very long minute for the two to depart, when they finally did, Ahma let out a sigh of relief before resuming her journey.Only she stopped when a hooded figure appeared in front of her, one she had no clue of.

"Onryō, you don't how long I've been hunting..."

Their voice was distorted beyond comprehension and Ahma couldn't make heads or tails of it. Instead, she just clenched her fist, eyes glued on the figure that appeared before her. "Who are you and what the hell do you want?" The young woman shouted at them as she looked for any notable traits which was extremely hard to do. Not only were they well hidden, but this figure also took seemingly extra precautions not to be tracked themselves. If they were side-by-side, Ahma would applaud them, but the arrow earlier and their statement indicated that would not be the case. "Well, are you going to stand there or are you going to do something?" Ahma said as she rolled her neck, looking at the figure.

"Too easy." The hooded figure stated before they moved in a blur and slammed their heel into Ahma's torso, sending her flying back. The Hachisuka let out a noticeable groan before standing back up, pained inhales as she looked at the figure. She weaved a set of unfamiliar handseals before her body glistened again, her Shoton armor making a layer of protection nearly all around that could be covered. "Wanna try that again or do you want to fight?"

Ahma ran forward weaving a series of seals. The figure tilted its head, "Not very subtle are you?" It would simply respond before charging forward, looking to clash against Ahma as they prepared a kunai.

Where one would expect a clash, only a shout was made as Ahma finished her seals. "Doton: Doeirou!" Before the figure cold react, stone plates from the earth flew to their torso, stopping them in their tracks and knocking the wind out of them. They frantically tried to raise their hands up as Ahma closed in, making Shoton-enhanced blows through their blocks, painfully beating them like a meat tenderizer. The young woman kicked a leg to their upper chest, followed by a reverse punch and haymaker. Two more gut puches, followed by an amped jab to their face, knocking them painfully free of their stone imprisonment. As the dust settled and the cracks of stone and bone settled, the figure wearily got up, "Sonuvabitch, going to pay for that."

"Make me." Ahma retorted as her one free chakra pulse allowed her to see the opponent through the dust for all but a second. As the woman closed in, she saw blue light emanating from the smoke which any sane person would run from, however, Ahma just tilted her head, thinking about what to do next. In half a second, the blue light pierced through the air and a supercharged beam of Raiton chakra jabbed into Ahma, not only drilling into her armor but sending her flying back. Meters away, Ahma laid in a daze, willing her armor to fix the damage that the blast managed to cut slightly into her sternum.

She groaned as she propped herself onto her arms, watching as the figure was getting closer. The Nuke's adrenaline started rushing as she raced through multiple scenarios of possible outcomes. "Time for you to die again." The figure stated as in their slow walk, they began weaving a new set of seals.

Out of time to engage in a counterattack, Ahma raised a single seal and vanished right before the bolts hit her. Reappearing right behind her opponent, Ahma crouched low and deployed her claws as she dropped the seal. "And people had trouble with her?! That wa- hey, where did she go?" The figure stated, confidence melting into fear as they began to frantically look around. Ahma waited and waited for the figure to turn around. When they swirled only 90 degrees, Ahma pierced the claws in the side of their abdomen. A holler of pain came from the figure as Ahma stood up behind them.

The figure swung an uncontrolled back fist toward Ahma, who simply stopped the strike with the back of her fist. The arm began to slowly crystalize as Ahma looked rather bored as she ripped out her claws from their side, causing a large splatter of crimson on the ground. "You'll make a beautiful display." Ahma stated as she slashed at the crystalize portion of the arm, breaking it off as she held it in her hands. Sweeping the feet from under the figure and watching them fall. She chuckled before stomping on the figure, leaving a small crystallization on their abdomen, causing even more cries of pain.

She made their hand grip the hunter's throat as she unleashed a high burst of chakra. The burst extended from flash crystalizing their arm to the body their arm gripped. Ahma breathed heavy as she backed away, watching the decor she made before continuing to move on. "Beware ghost hunts." She mocked as the woman walked further from her decoration.

After at least her most violent pursuer was taken out of commission. She still had the problem of traversing the rest of the way to Bird Country though after that close encounter with Ishi shinobi, she deduced she may in fact be closer to her destination than she may have realized. Ahma continued to push forward against the setting sun, only now realizing that this journey, although simple, would be a long and hard one. She kept moving before darkness finally fell. The woman simply concentrated her intent before walking upwards a very tall tree, looking out across the land from her elevated position. She could barely make out the foliage change that was a natural indicator of national boundaries, the woman smiled as she climbed back down to ground level. Back on the safety of the earth, the young woman looked around once more before nodding her head and leaning against a tree.


Snaking her way to sit on the ground, leaning against the tree. Ahma calculated how often these children will need rest, food, and other necessities if needed. This also considered how present she needed to be and whether she was capable of the feat alone. She could handle some opponents, but she needed to load up on basic necessities. There was a lot of planning that went into this journey, but for now. Ahma needed to rest, she traveled so far and exerted energy that she didn't want to use. And realistically, she'd probably have to stop now anyways to let the kids get their rest.

Ahma is considered one of the generational lucky few who has access to the clan's most cherished ability. The Kekkai Tota, Shōton. Having access to crystal release sets up a wide array of possibilities of possible jutsu to learn and utilize. As with many advanced release abilities, having keys to the vault is only half the battle. Unlike the classic violet Amethyst of other Shōton users, Ahma's Crystals (unless specifically indicated by the jutsu) appear like Onyx in coloration.

天国の贈り物 | Tengoku no okurimono
Ahma learned her 'Heavenly Gift' from the clan's teachings. Her gift affects her Ninjutsu, allowing her to wield unique, powerful, neigh-impossible to replicate elemental enhancements to her elemental ninjutsu. Her Heavenly Gift also deviates from enhancing all her basic elements to focusing on two, Fūton and Doton. What this means is that inherently, Ahma's doton jutsus can act as a minuscule seismic sense when in active use. Her Fūton becomes harder to see, while it still has a translucent color when applicable, the jutsu overall comes out faster compared to other non-SA-enhanced ninjutsu specialists.

Ahma's Seismic Sense is not a true dedicated sensing ability but instead, a passive effect/bonus of a Doton Jutsu, thus, each Doton Jutsu has this added benefit only when the Doton jutsu is in active use. Not being dedicated nor is it is it fully powerful, the ranges are extremely weak, only serving more as accuracy than true sensing.

Each range* is divided by rank of the Jutsu and behaves conversely than expected. This is due to the concentration of higher ranking jutsus require. This Seismic Sense reads vibrations on the ground and thus cannot sense those above ground or on water.

E-Rank Sensing Range: 90 Meters

D-Rank Sensing Range: 75 Meters

C-Rank Sensing Range: 60 Meters

B-Rank Sensing Range: 45 Meters

A-Rank Sensing Range: 30 Meters

Unique Seal Adaptation
Every Tenchi clan member is taught unique handseals and instead, prayer gestures and sutras for Jutsu, Ahma is no different to this. As such she is considered an advanced level sealist [re: Handseals] in the art. This does not grant her speed in the hand seals of common ninjutsu, rather she has an edge in the delivery of her clan's specialized jutsu.

Fine like Jade
Through extraneous training in chakra usage, Ahma has developed an unnatural level of chakra control. While it still isn't perfected, she has learned to efficiently mitigate excess exhaust from the jutsus she casts and how to give the proper input for the desired output, rather than pouring as much as she can and hoping for the best.
