He had exerted himself, but that was the goal of this training anyways. When Azarea approached him, he had to make a huge effort to look up, discerning her silhouette just barely. When she mentioned his guards, he looked puzzled for a second, but then saw some bodies lying on the ground. The shock of seeing them knocked out made him try to get up, but he just couldn't. "Sa... toshi... Ta... kano..." he muttered their names. The red-haired dragged Shigure and put him leaning against a boulder. He was trying to control his breathing, but it was proving more challenging than what he could currently handle. The only thing he could do right now was to watch as the woman dragged Takano's unconscious body near him, while Satoshi still lied on the ground. Noticing the pattern of the Rotation, he would then look up to Azarea. "D-did... Use... R-rotation?" words were hard for him, but he was confident he had uttered enough of them to be understood. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." Azarea soothes lifting her sleeve to wipe away some of the sweat on Shigure's brow as she settles Satoshi next to him, but only really succeeds in leaving a streak of dirt across the Hyuuga's forehead given how filthy she was from getting tossed about training. His question though garners her attention as she goes to inspect the scene of the crime as she hooks her arms under Takano's armpits finding a deep groove characteristic of the gentle fist torn into the earth not too far from them as she drags the man back to join his clansmen in the shade of the boulder.

"And yes. It looks like they used rotation." She finally answers a touch hesitant with her words as she kneels next to Shigure to pull out her canteen gently lift it to the mans lips so he could take a sip. "They won't get in trouble will they? I can lie and say you made a clone that did it on any reports." Azarea offers not wanting to get the two men in trouble with the Hyuuga Elder's if their actions would see them brought to task still. Change was a slow thing in many cases. As capping her canteen the Kumo nin took up position as guard. Her senses extending active and wary. Konoha may have been only miles away, but that did not make them safe. If anything it placed them in more danger.

He nodded slowly and shakily when she told him to try not to talk and instead he focused on his breathing, trying to keep it under control, and it was helping, in a way. As she dragged the unconscious bodies of his guards near them, she confirmed they had used Rotation, and Shigure's feature tried to sketch a smile, but he was too drained for it to form properly, but he was honestly proud of them. "They learned it so quickly..." he thought to himself. Still, he understood why Azarea was concerned about them being in trouble, and when she asked if they were, Shigure slowly shook his head. "No... I... Taught... Allowed... No... More... Discrimination..." he wanted to be more eloquent, but this was all he could muster in his current state. Shigure would then slowly close his eyes, not falling asleep, but doozing off a bit as exhaustion got to him. And as Azarea stood guard, extending her senses, she would notice a third Hyuuga coming their way, angered expression on his face, Byakugan activated, and the caged bird seal clearly stamped on his forehead. He wasn't a face she would've recognized, and he looked somewhat younger than the two unconscious Hyuugas there, and very similar to the dark-haired man named Takano, albeit longer hair, and slightly shorter in stature. Even if Shigure could not express his pride Azarea could still feel it welling up within him bright and fierce kindling a small fond smile from the red head. "They did great. You taught them well." Senses extended Azarea would move from her spot the Kumo nin deftly stepping between Shigure, his injured guards, and the approaching Hyuuga clan member. VACUUM PALM While Shigure bounced in and out of consciousness, trying his best to stay awake, the other Hyuuga approached fast, Byakugan ready and with plenty of anger inside his core. He could see all his kinsmen apparently defeated on the ground, the huge devastation of that clearance and the only person standing was a woman he didn't quite recognize, which meant she was likely the enemy. "You fiend!!!" he exclaimed as he finally got close enough so she could see him. Her words were met with a scornful scoff from the young Hyuuga. At a closer look, he shouldn't be much older than his late teens, or maybe very early twenties, but more likely the former as he did look younger than Azarea and Shigure. "Shigure-sama! I will save you!! And you, fiend!! You will pay for what you did to my master and my brother!!" he announced as he fell in a very familiar Gentle Fist stance, even though his was far more flawed than Shigure's own. Judging by his body language and stance, it was safe to say he was above the level of a regular Genin, but not quite a Jounin yet. "Get out of the way! Hakke Kushou!!" he exclaimed as he pushed his right palm forward, throwing the Vacuum Palm towards Azarea, aiming to injure mostly her lungs while also sending her flying away. He was not pulling any punches, as he was determined to save his family, and clearly saw the red-haired as the enemy. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. "Look Hyuuga-sama is perfectly unharmed. He's just exhausted from our training session and your brother got caught in the shockwave of one of the~" Azarea makes a token attempt to explain as the teen approaches, but as anger rises within his signature and it becomes clear nothing would dissuade him the woman lets out a soft "Tch~" realizing her words were falling on deaf ears. Leaving Azarea uncertain if the boy was brave or stupid to see the devastation around them, assume she was responsible, and still attack her. Possibly both. However more importantly the teen had the misfortune of being two things that she could not tolerate in that moment... a distraction from her guard duty and a potential unintentional threat to Shigure.

Thus her claws were out before the young Hyuuga had even fallen into his combat stance her glare cutting through him with the intenseness of killing intent as her genjutsu raked over his mind like the scrape of a knife. The intention to freeze him, but a moment. As a moment was all she needed as her Kikaichu tunneled into the earth burrowing up beneath the boy to burst forth attempting drag him into the earth up to his neck and latch onto him to glut themselves on his chakra. The Kunoichi releasing her first genjutsu as the world to the boy would grow dark his all seeing eyes blinded of sight.

"Consider yourself lucky that you are their clansmen, but if you ever again insinuate I would ever harm a single hair on Shigure's head I will rip your eyes out of your sockets and feed them to you." She threatens in a low vicious growl. Hopefully the day would not simply be filled by an endless amount of Hyuuga coming to challenge her without so much as a glance at her headband before attacking or else her boyfriend was going to need to do more then just buy her a very nice dinner for this misunderstanding.

THE THREE GUARDS Before the young man could throw his technique towards Azarea, his body was suddenly paralyzed by her Genjutsu Binding, prompting him to grit his teeth in immense frustration. Yes, she tried saying something while he was shouting and attacking, but he failed to hear what she said, and now he was in a terrible bind. "Y-you fiend! I won't let you stop me with your tricks!!" he exclaimed boldly despite his current predicament. As he was surrounded by the kikaichu, his Byakugan could confirm what they were and he looked almost spooked. "A-aburame?! With a Cloud forehead protector?! What are you?!" but before he could say anything else, he had been dragged beneath the earth save for his head, and then Azarea used the Bringer of Darkness on him, making the boy scream in despair as the light of his world vanished. "My eyes!! What did you do?!" he cried, finally being able to listen to what she was saying. Seemed like she cared about Shigure, and yet, the scene he had witnessed. He was scared, but he needed to fight for the people he cared about, and yet, there was nothing he could currently do at his state. Takano would begin to wake up, and as he sit up, he witnessed that scene and sighed. "Kenta! Stop, she is not the enemy. You need stop acting so impulsively! That's why you are not yet officially a guard!" Takano berated the boy, whose cheeks immediately flared red. "A-aniki!! You are okay!!" he cried as the tears rolled down his face. Takano took a deep breathe and then kicked Satoshi, who grumbled and opened his eyes, his hand reaching for his head and massaging it as he sit up. "Man... That packed a hell of a punch... I thought we were toast! What the heck was Shigure-sama thinking?" he asked, and Takano sighed, shrugging. "T-that voice... Satoshi-san?!" Kenta asked, and Satoshi looked his way. "Yo, Kenta... The hell are you doing underground?" he asked, arching one of his brows, before looking up to where Azarea was, suspicious she was the one responsible. Meanwhile, Shigure would mumble something, but he was still too drained from his training. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. "I am an ally. What I am beyond that is none of your business. However, if you apologize I'll consider putting you back to rights." Azarea quips the woman crossing her arms as she glares down at the teen only briefly glancing back towards the guards as they began to rouse a touch wary they might try to attack her as well. Though as the confirm her innocence the tension begins to bleed off her shoulders. It wouldn't be too difficult for the boy to go digging and learn of her, but she certainly wasn't going to had him all the dirty details of her life at his slightest demand. Instead she offers Takano an appreciative nod as she moves to loop Shigure's arm over her shoulder helping the man up. Though the woman succeeds in keeping up her icy imperious mask the gentleness of her hands is telling as she steadies him. This... among many reasons was why they kept to themselves. Love like a cough was not so easily hidden.

"You two are his guards?" She questions eyeing the men skeptically, but Shigure would not have held such pride in them if they were his enemies. "He needs to be taken home and put to rest. As you can see he rather overdid it during our training session." Azarea adds voice a touch gruff as she lets out an exasperated, but fond huff. Yet for all her words there is a tense reluctance to her posture to give up their clan head to their care. Her hands only passing Shigure over at the last moment once the men were up and walking. Even then her gaze flicks between the guards, their surroundings, and Shigure. Want curling within her gut that soon he would once more return to where she dare not yet tread.

MATRIARCH Kenta didn't really know what to say to Azarea, and instead of responding he just grumbled and growled, gritting his teeth in frustration and embarrassment. As the others woke up, catching his immediate attention, he felt a sense of relief which finally allowed him to relax. And while the three Hyuuga talked to one another, explaining a bit of what had happened there, Azarea moved towards Shigure and looped his arm over her shoulders, helping him get up. The head of the Hyuuga clan moaned lightly and opened his eyes a bit, looking around and seeing Kenta's face. "Oh..." Satoshi turned back towards Azarea, getting up on his feet and nodding in answer to her question. "We are. And this dummy here is one as well... Or rather, he is in training." he started, cracking a smirk and chuckling softly. "A bit overzealous, but his heart is in the right place." Satoshi added, prompting Kenta to blush in a bright hue of red. Takano would approach her, looking into her eyes with a rather serious, yet respectful gaze. "I assume it is Azarea-sama, uh?" his question, although vague would be rather clear for Azarea; he was asking if she was their matriarch. Even though Shigure hadn't revealed the nature of their relationship, it was Satoshi and Takano's job to be around him, guarding him, and Shigure couldn't really completely hide his infatuation when he was around Azarea. Carefully the Kumo nin handed Shigure off to Satoshi ignoring Kenta for the moment. He still hadn't apologized, but she did call her Kikiachu back to her. The man would have to dig himself out if he insisted on being stubborn, but she wouldn't return his sight till she either departed or he made amends. At Tanako's question however she stiffens. Eyes darting to the man with a small frown finding herself regretting having not fled before they awoke.

But it would have meant leaving Shigure vulnerable and... she wouldn't do that.

So instead she offers the man a shallow nod, "Yes. I am Azarea... formerly of the Aburame." She confirms warily. The little red headed child that had spent her days tumbling around with their now Leader grown from a slip of a girl into the woman before them. Her scarlet eyes sharp and face pretty if marred by the scars of adversity. But it was clearer then crystal the care she held for the the Hyuuga clan head by the way she watched him. Her attention appearing on Tanako, but the focus was not solely there if how she carefully kept Shigure in the corner of her eyes was any indication.

"I trust that for your charge's safety you'll fail to mention me?" She requests or perhaps that was the edge of an order. Polite, but there all the same.

When Azarea asked Takano to fail to mention what he had just confirmed, he would nod again. "Worry not. Shigure-sama has done much for us. You can trust our loyalty, which also - to a degree - extends to you, my lady." he said with a formal and polite tone towards the red-haired. "But, if I may... The young lord should be more careful in his training. I fear he pushes himself too much at times." he expressed his concerns, for by the looks of it, Shigure had been overdoing himself. And while Takano didn't know exactly why he was pushing himself so hard to the point of chakra exhaustion, he was concerned with his well-being. Finally, after further teasing from Satoshi, Kenta would look up to Azarea, red as a tomato, and unable to fully hold eye contact. Azarea purses her lips expression set in a grim line as her eyes narrow at this new bit of information, "I see. It's good to push oneself, but not to this extent." She agrees glancing at the field around them and at the state of her partner. She thought this had been just a one-off, but if he'd been exhausting himself repeatedly. Well the cat was already partially out of the bag she reasons as she strides over to her mate leaning forward to brush his hair back from his face her forehead coming to rest against his own as she stares him in the eyes.

"Moonlight. What. The. Actual. Fuck?" She mutters low enough only he could hear, but she has no doubts the guards can read her lips. "I know you want to be stronger, but you risking yourself like this is worrying me. What if assassins strike while you're in such an exhausted state? You need to rest." Azarea chides, but there is genuine worry... and a hint of fear to her words. But she pulls back pressing a kiss to his forehead with a sigh.

"Go back and rest. I won't see you for three days after this no matter what you say. You need to sleep and I need to rethink our afternoon plans." And he probably needed to think up an apology, but she's certain Takano can coach Shigure on that as straightening and affecting an unconcerned mask she returns Kenta's sight striding over to widen the hole around him so he could climb back out. The realization that she'd had 'plans' for after their training probably punishment enough for Shigure really.

"Apology accepted. Now the four of you should get back to the village before we cause a diplomatic incident." She only half jokes.

While the Joō no Taikanshiki no Regaria lacks the Yūdai no Omorejō size instead Azarea's hive has maintained the ability to produce alpha pheromones and commanding vibrations. Evolving instead to hyperspecialize in these two aspects allowing them to produce pheramones and vibrations strong enough to be detected by human hearing and sense of smell.

He was concerned, not only because he personally cared about Shigure, but also because he was concerned about the fate of the Hyuuga clan if the current head were to accidentally kill himself during a training session. "Thank you, Azarea-sama." he said with a subtle, satisfied smile and a short, yet polite head bow. Azarea would then approach Shigure, who was being helped by Satoshi, and when she started talking to him, the branch Hyuuga would gaze away to give them a little bit of whatever privacy they could muster under that circumstance. Shigure's eyes sought out for Azarea's, still a bit lost. The woman was worried about him, and that made him sigh. He knew he was pushing himself too hard, but there was no other way for him to be able to use such a difficult technique, if he didn't push himself beyond his limits. "T-there's something I... I need to a-accomplish..." he defended himself, but he lacked the energy to build more of a case, and when she told him to go home and rest, he nodded, feeling almost frustrated, but understanding why she was doing what she was doing, so he didn't say anything else. As she finally moved towards Kenta and helped him out, the young Hyuuga would then tap on his kimono, to clear himself of some of the dirt, and then nod to her when she gave them the advice of returning to the village. "We will, stay safe." Satoshi said, while the others bowed before departing back to the Hyuuga District. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. Letting out a ragged breath finally the woman shook her head and turned on her heel. It would be best if she wasn't caught out here. Too many questions. Too few answers. So she departed.
