He did? How exciting! So even simple mistakes such as switching which hand was placed in the hand sign could make a jutsu ineffective? How fascinating. This made the whole process of memorizing hand signs even more important to Saito's mind and he would make a mental note to bring this up to Kaito later since his brother probably needs to know this as well. Wouldn't want to get an unfair advantage against his brother's arms it would make their tale boring if one rocketed ahead of the other and Saito wasn't about to be the reason for that if he could help it.[break][break]

The young boy would follow his instructor's request to switch the seal and while it was difficult at first since his mind had gotten used to doing it the other way he focused his mind on a nearby chair. He hoped this change would help him get through the jutsu and work towards his advancement of the jutsu and to his surprise it did! It was rocky of course being very imbalanced in the process of the switch and honestly, Saito felt a bit disorientated at it working at first, but he did it![break][break]

His ears would be graced with applause from his instructor which made Saito in rflect bow to his respective audience. He had to show his gratefulness to his instructor helping him overcome the hurdle he had been having issues with. "Swallow Tail thanks you for your instruction and hopes he lives up to future expectations thou giveth him," his voice entering the eloquence he normally reserved for an audience instead of a solo instructor or his brother. "Is there further advocacy thou could partake in to enhance one's grasp of the technique?" Saito would ask just in case there was further information he could use to better his substitution jutsu.

Eiji watched Saito perform the seals slowly, his mind focused on performing the technique right rather than fast; his concentration was wobbly, his seals somewhat clumsy and imprecise… but the boy did it, his Substitution jutsu working just as it was intended. Indeed, after a moment of obvious surprise the young Futago gave a solid bow, his theatrical side making a return as he flourished his cape and, in a sudden display of verbosity, asked if there was anything more that he might like to add.

"Only to keep practicing. And don’t let the object you switch with out of your sight- if you can’t see it, you can’t switch with it.” The old man said, his transformed face smiling widely as nodded, gesturing to the door. There was little else he could instruct the boy on now, not without going over his allotted time and venturing into topics far too for an Academy Student. But he would have to keep an eye on young Saito; there was promise there, great promise, if he could work through the young lad’s… eccentricities.

"Tell your Sensei to send the next volunteer in, if you would. I feel a need to sit these old bones of mine down before I get too tired.” Eiji said, shuffling over to a nearby chair where, after a moment, he sat down, still smiling as he waited for the young caped Futago to leave. He had quite a few other students to speak with, after all.

With his victory in hand, Saito was ready to conquer the world with his newfound knowledge! Even more so when his instructor gave him more advice on how the technique works and he couldn't help but wonder if Kaito knew of this information too. The boy was so distracted by what to tell his father he almost missed the request to send in the next student. "Huh?" Saito would question not fully processing the request before it finally clicked in his mind what he needed to do. "Yes sir!" the blond saluted to the instructor before rushing out of the room to head back to class to do as instructed.[break][break]

Once back in the classroom, he would make a dramatic entrance like before and state, "Fortune has favored Swallow Tail and now grants it upon those in turn!" Turning his attention to the teacher of the class Saito would add, "Bring thy next favorable to ascertain the knowledge of heroes!" After giving his instructions he was told to give he would return to his seat with a flourish of his cape and sit and listen to the rest of the lesson wondering how he would tell his brother how he grew as a hero.[break][break]
