He could barely understand the concept of a father at that point in time. He didn't have the luxury to ponder about it either, as they were extremely poor and had a relatively hard time surviving day by day. [break][break] Living in a small, barely-working house that stood out even amongst the many broken shacks near the gutter, he would often spend his time idling near the window and people-watching the passers-by while waiting for his mother to come home from work. That was the only thing he could do as a child to pass the time; there was no other entertainment for him except staring outside at the world. [break][break] His mother would always come home looking exhausted, but she would never forget to serve him food. Her job was not an easy one either; she worked tirelessly so they could survive another day. She worked every single day without fail, doing any kind of job that anyone threw her way. So long as she managed to earn some money, she would happily accept it with a smile on her face. [break][break] God knows what she went through during those times when he was still young. The only thing that he knew for sure was that his mother's life was far more difficult than his own. As a result of those hardships, Akirei become mature at a very young age. In fact, he was even more mature than most adults around his age. He was wise beyond his years and very street-smart, both technically and emotionally.
