Was she really excited to see the facilities? No.
Did she feel like she owed it to Muramasa? Definitely.
The woman was no fool herself, and as she watched his eyes, his body leaning back, she knew that he knew how she felt about his words. Of course, the woman hadn't expected much; in fact, she expected nothing at all. They had shared so much together that there was really not much need to define anything. If there was a need to set definite boundaries, it was that they were one of the same kinds of people, with similar goals, ambitions and motivations. Shiina nodded her head and gave Taki a small smile of politeness as she heard her speak. Once or twice the way the girl spoke got to her. There was no sophistication in the way this girl spoke, and for someone who mirrored herself in that regard, she couldn't begin to fathom why Muramasa would even be friends with her. Perhaps opposites attract? She had heard that saying once before, and as she eyed them both, she thought she could sense something that was not quite a definite friendship between them.
Was she thinking too much?
If Muramasa wanted to tell her eventually, she would be there to listen, but she knew that what he didn't say or chose not to meant that he didn't want to. There was a mutual respect between her and him in that regard, and even if she really wanted to know, there was no harping of the matter.
"I simply don't want to sign a contract..." the woman reiterated adamantly, the girl saying that she was sorry for her not signing on board was really her refusal to sign a piece of paper that bound her to this organization.
"Whether I agree to help Muramasa-dono at a later time is not determined by this refusal. I thought perhaps I should make that clear." There was no disrespect to Taki and her initiatives, but Shiina found it relatively strange that everything seemed to be so business proper about this whole thing. Surely, if she was only supposed to help the man, there need not be a contract?
Was there some kind of misunderstanding there too?
"I'm fine, we can get going right away." Her eyes would finally meet his, a telltale sign of how she really felt escaped her gaze. Shiina knew he would understand just by looking at her, but also assumed he would not make a big fuss, especially because he had chosen not to address it directly.
"Let's go then..." she whispered, turning on her heel to go back to her own room to pick up what little belongings she had for this trip. Even as she half glided out of the room, she couldn't help but wonder what was in store for her and for them on this trip and subsequently when they arrived.
A wrestling organization...she was still baffled beyond words at the idea.
