This was a weird one. The life of a shinobi had its quirks and every so often an odd situation would pop up but rarely did it reach these levels. Admittedly Ouritsu didn't know much about the followers of Hikari other than they're strong showing within the village and for the most part he was content to keep things as such what with their beliefs of gods, rival gods, etc., which even for a person who came from a family that had the power to atomize everything was a bit much. All in all the chunin was happy to just co-exist without having too much interaction but fate would have other plans.

The followers had contracted the village to help aid them in ridding a site they claimed played host to a temple of a rival god of the strange beings that were said to inhabit it. A deep cavern far in the countryside that somehow turned animals into creatures of darkness. Ouritsu had a tough time believing it but there had been enough fuss to make an official mission out of it so here he was. He'd be joined by a clan mate and, even stranger, a follower of Hikari who the boy saw as little more than a detriment since he had no idea if that person could even fight should the need arise. Arguing against it would have fallen on deaf ears or worse yet, the Tsuchikage's and the Nohime was smart enough to pick his battles.

The trio had barely left the shadow of Iwa meaning they had a good ways to go before they got to the oh so dangerous cavern. "Shadow creatures, huh? Can't one of those weird Konoha clans use shadows? We sure it's not them playing tricks on people? I wouldn't put it past 'em."

[Nōhime Reiko]

Normally, Reiko wouldn't take on missions unless she had to, saving lives was more interesting then ending them. However, lately, she's grown a bit colder to the balance of life and death. She felt angrier, apathetic, more focused. Narrow-sighted on a goal. But, she didn't expect to encounter people, what intrigued her more about taking up this mission was the fact that enemy encounter was non-existent, at least of the supposed humankind. Another reason was this being a religious mission. With their Kekkai Tōta and her background in the medical division, Reiko had a hard time believing anything remotely near religion was true. Despite what all of the shinobi world was capable of. She just could not see it.

It seemed like a stupid folly to believe in something that didn't exist, but, what was even stranger was the effects they somehow seemed to have on the people, the environment, and even figures of power that have no reason to be influenced by such are. Seen throughout history and somehow current events. Making her way to the village gates, it was interesting knowing her teammate was a distal relative. Perhaps he had some light to shed, perhaps not. Meeting up and traveling with the two, they made their way after all the formalities were finished.

Ouritsu brought up a good point and Reiko looked between the two. "Regardless if that maybe the case, we're here now, and nothing can survive our abilities. But yes, the reports do seem to line up with that possibility. Care to shed some light? Are we actually facing monsters or are we dusting some leaf nobodies?" The point Ouritsu raised was a good one and it'd be best to know whether or not they were walking into a trap.

Jinton Duster

Hundreds of years upon years, a powerful Kekkai Tōta was passed down within the Nōhime clan. Jinton, Dust Release, the combination of Fūton, Katon, and Doton chakra natures. As dangerous and rare as it is, Reiko is truly blessed with the ability to harness and control this advanced nature as well as she does. Utilizing this affinity is even greater than the control of her other basic natures. Reiko shows an almost equal potential to that of her greatest and living predecessor.

Medical Knowledge

Reiko knows that as powerful as anyone is, even greater power comes from knowledge, and closing that off is a fool's folly. She hit the books at a young age, learning the anatomy of the human body, from fundamental cells to even the psychosocial analysis of mental states. This robust and thorough knowledge makes her not only skilled both in medicine of various fields but also in the application of treatment. Even if her medical jutsu tree isn't as expanse as others, her knowledge would be sure to circumvent that issue.

Atomic Mystic Control

Even easier to learn given that it is a naturally selected trait of being more capable of controlling one's chakra. The Nōhime pride themselves on an unnatural advantage in Chakra control, and of the Nōhime clan, Reiko boat greater pride in her ability given she uses it to access medical ninjutsu. Where her kin are more born as better conduits inertly, Reiko took her control a step further and trained to a point beyond normalcy. Even at her level, Reiko has an astonishingly low excess waste of chakra, and her ability to use the near exact amount of chakra only makes practitioners of greater skill and training see equal footing in Reiko where one expects inferior ability.
