Kimi was still trudging ahead, slowly but steadily, despite the sludge and stickiness. One...two... he got closer and closer. "Something stinky..." An murmured under her nose as she watched Kimihiro advance in her direction, her thoughts working overtime to come up with several ways to halt the man.

There was a jutsu with something especially stinky in their clan jutsus, but An was probably not talented enough to execute it, but she could try something similar with the degree of powers she possessed. She still had some chakra in her, so why not go all out?

"OK!" she murmured to herself, her eyes brimming with determination as she faced Kimi. Her hands remained riveted to the earth as she discharged the chakra in front of her and Kimihiro in the center. Giving life to two Stinkhorn mushrooms, which didn't accomplish anything at first except smell like rotting flesh, which An could smell as well, but she had to put up with it. A small hole appeared at the top of the two mushrooms, spitting two spores at a rapid speed at Kimi's both upper arms.

If they came into touch with Kimi's upper arms, the two spores instantly grew into their full, albeit significantly changed, form. The stinkhorn mushrooms would smell like rotten meat doubled, their stem would have arm-like extensions that would wrap around the young male's upper arms, and at the same time, the stem itself would spring down into the ground, rooting in deeply, making it very difficult for the other to move, as it would feel like someone was holding him back, while the holders themselves smelled like rotten meat, potentially irritating the other's nose and eyes from the pungent odor.

An hoped that Kimi wouldn't avoid the impending peril for the sake of this training. Her eyes were tightly shut, unsure if she had succeeded.

Red eyes watched curiously as two new mushrooms formed up in front of him, his walking slowing down as he acknowledged the scent. It wasn't a good one, but he'd certainly smelled worse in his life. Still, it was a good step, and he couldn't help but be curious as they opened up and spat something at him. He could have dodged what happened next, heck, he could have torn his way out of it without too much trouble either, but that was hardly the point of the activity.

Instead, the Kaguya found himself wrapped up in fungal growth, his legs slowed by sticky fluid and his arms restrained by the modified mushrooms, while a pungent stench worked its way into his mucuous membranes. He could taste it, smell it, and were he less desensitised to such things, he probably would have had watering eyes as well.

Without going beyond his self-imposed limits, Kimihiro was officially stopped. A broad smile spread across his features as he smiled at the small girl, pleased with how far she had gone since he first started helping her.

"Congratulations Anpan-chan~ That's a good trick!" he praised, still trapped within her technique, because he didn't want to dishearten her by escaping.

An watched as Kimi smiled at her, his praise still ringing in her ears. She couldn't help but feel a rush of joy and accomplishment. However, she also didn't want to make him uncomfortable for too long.

With a determined expression, An focused her chakra and sent a surge of energy through her fingertips. The earth beneath the stinkhorn mushrooms began to tremble slightly, and the mushrooms themselves started to wither and shrink. The arm-like extensions unwound themselves from Kimi's upper arms, releasing their grip, while the stems retreated back into the ground.

As the jutsu dissipated, the pungent smell gradually faded away, leaving behind a lingering scent of earth and dampness. An let out a small sigh of relief, glad that Kimi was no longer restrained by her technique.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Kimi-san," she said, her voice apologetic. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable for too long." To be honest, An was uncomfortable too, the smell was too much.

An's eyes sparkled with gratitude as she looked at Kimi. She couldn't believe how lucky she was to have someone like him as her mentor and training partner. His support and patience meant everything to her, and she was determined to make the most of it.

Blinking slightly, he hadn't expected the girl to deconstruct her fungus as well, and his mind went a little into overdrive thinking about how that might be useful in a combat situation. Still, now wasn't really the time for it, since he had a tiny person to encourage and help grow. He still wasn't sure why he was invested in helping her, but he supposed it was a matter of not inflicting the sort of training he got on the next generation.

Discretely sniffing at his clothes and wrinkiling his nose slightly, Kimihiro reached out the ruffle An's hair with a gentle smile "that was a good tactic, you should practice it until you can do it without thinking. Restraining someone will give you and any team members a lot of options, and the bad smell can overwhelm an enemy as well as make them easier to track if you can't hold them," he explained as he stretched slightly, his spine cracking as he did so.

"The bullets were good too, that's another jutsu that you can use a lot, so keep that one up too. Perhaps you can even make it bigger by having them explode~" really, the little Gure's abillities were really versatile and he looked forward to seeing what she could get up to. Sneezing, he consider for a moment before looking apologetically at the young girl.

"I know I said I would buy lunch after this, but how about we go and have a bath first?" he asked, very aware that the smell of her fungus had seeped into his clothing, and he didn't want to inflict that on other patrons. It was a good way to get banned from a restaurant.

She couldn't help but giggle softly, feeling a mix of embarrassment and relief. It was a relief to know that Kimi wasn't offended by the smell, but rather concerned about others' comfort.

"Thank you for suggesting a bath," An continued, her voice grateful. "It's a good idea to freshen up before going out to eat. I'll make sure to wash thoroughly and get rid of this smell." She gave a small bow, showing her respect and appreciation.
