It was about that time he made another run from bounty hunters, days in and out of a chase originating in Shimo no Kuni didn't seem to let up even when he was teetering Bonchi no Kuni and Hi no Kuni borders. He went further into the territory of Nohara no Kuni, further than he would've liked; yet, it was the only way to eventually get the pursuers to stop. But now, now Ekō felt so dangerously close to Kusagakure. He eventually came to a village with easy access to a river. As he made his approach, he pulled a hood up and lowered his face. Years of this told him to lay low, but being semi-close to a shinobi village felt so wrong to him. The young man just kept walking, frowning when he heard his stomach growl.

Fuck, when was the last time I ate? It was a thought the Nuke kept repeating in his head as he caught a whiff of cooking ingredients. He slowly followed his nose through the streets, walking as if each step literally made him hungrier. After wading his way through a crowd of people, he saw a street vendor selling fish flailed and deboned, cut up in pieces of meat and selling them with rice. Ekō just stood there, trying to find any Ryo on his person; groaning in frustration when he came to nothing. Deciding that it was too crowded and in constant watch, he decided to move on.

Maybe he could find either something else to nick or he could time his movements, either swipe someone's coin purse, their bills, or simply mug them when the chance arises. He didn't like going hungry for long. And if he was going to lay low, he'll need time to do that. A lot of time, that he could use to recuperate. Going hungry wasn't an idea of taking care of himself. He knew it might be awhile, so he just walked passed the vendor, thinking of his next move. Like figuring where the hell he was.

Ekō wasn't born a shinobi, but he was born with the potential of being one. He was gifted with a large reservoir of chakra, being untapped for most of his life. Only upon learning how to bend this energy did he learn the concept of what chakra was. He found himself able to maintain or do multiple skills at once, pushing longer each day like a muscle. This exertion to satiate his curiosity not only exhausted him, it grew with him to satisfy such. Soon, the growth of his ability outpaced what he could train, and his limits were hidden from him. That is until Ekō was labeled a criminal, being on the run and needing to use his full capabilities to get a rest has left him fighting multiple odds over a longer period.

Predator or Prey

Amplifying the boons of the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique], Ekō is able to increase the ability beyond standard capabilities by using his large reserves to fuel the jutsu. Both activation and maintenance chakra costs increase to a High in both aspects. While unable to erase his chakra signature, he can avoid detection in 3 key senses. Any noise created by Ekō is reduced to almost non-existent levels. Unless aided by an enhanced hearing SA, the detection of Ekō without being a sensor is extremely difficult. Giving an extra boon to both defensive and offensive maneuvers when using the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique].

Heightened Intelligence

Due to his unique learning method, there was a great need to store and process this knowledge. As an answer, Ekō learned to be able to develop and nurture a heightened state of intelligence. This enables him to memorize information of extended periods of time, construct/deconstruct the many factors of an idea into a vast theory, observe the patterns of the natural world to apply into the psychological and metaphysical worlds, finally, he can process information at an increased rate. This skill is what sets him apart from the vast majority of individuals. Despite being an acquired skill, it quickly developed to be Ekō's trademark signature.
