[attr="class","skullbody"]It’s was a rare evening free from work, no diplomacy missions and no training with her teammates or master. On this day she spent the day training on her own for a few hours on end, working once again on her accuracy. But now with the hard work of the day now done the girl would treat herself by making her way into the town of Shisseno to shop for one of her favorite brands of coffee, it was a decent walk to the connecting train station in Seppen but it was well worth it for the girls preferred drink of choice.

The young Scholar found herself here quite often whenever she needed to leave on one of her many diplomacy missions and would often times stock up on coffee here after work, and had heard from a co-worker about a new flavor she had wanted to try but wasn't able to procure the last time she was in town. As the girl arrived in the townshe immediately made her way to the the local market as quickly as she could, knowing how busy the town tended to be and trying to be mindful of her time.

As she made her way into the market square she’d find that it was still as bustling as ever even in the late evening hours of the night. The Sun was biggening set and there were small vestiges of sunlight dwindling in on the horizon of the town. And with their only being roughly 2 trains left before the final departure of the day everyone was more than likely packing up and heading home getting the last of their wares peddled before calling a night.

Thankfully Jun managed to make it in time to procure a bag before the shop had closed, delighted the girl would take her beans and stuff them in her coat before heading towards the train station patiently waiting on the platform for the arrival of the next train back home.

[Mimoto Ekō]

The Mimoto looked at his hands, holding the Yukigakure shinobi headband in his hand. He didn't like the fact it was cold here, nor did he like one of his hunters was a Yuki shinobi. It felt strange as most shinobi didn't go after him. The fact this one did left a sour taste in his mouth. It wasn't the act of defending himself that pulled at him, it was how weak this shinobi was. And the fact that they are awed and feared for their trained power made him rather bitter. Being stronger without having to go through their training, they were clearly false idols that had no reason to exist. Ekō smirked as he tied the headband onto his head. The nuke slowly walked back to where the shinobi fell before unfastening his shinobi flak jacket, taking it from the cold corpse and adorning it before fixing his own outfit underneath. "You don't need it, why should you have it." The young man stated before kicking snow over the fallen shinobi. "No one will miss you." The one-eyed man snarkily remarked before walking away from the area.

It didn't take him long to just keep walking till he got to a town, he wasn't tired nor exhausted even the slightest. Walking this distance was quite literally nothing to him. He was quite used to traveling, he wasn't used to the damn blistering cold. It didn't stop him from traversing though, it just meant he had to move a little faster. As to what made him decide to go to this frozen wasteland, he did not really know. Since he originally came here to hide from the bounty hunters, well, that didn't work and now he was escaping actual shinobi. Walking deeper into the town, the man blended in with the crowd that formed and followed the herd until they arrived at an odd station, people just waiting for god knows what, but he supposed he was basically doing the same. He didn't know the quickest way out of the country.

He simply stared in awe though when the metal tracks in front of him began to vibrate, followed by the sound between a honk and a siren. He tilted his head as the giant steel beast zoomed even closer before squealing to a stop. The vehicle pulled up and stopped with a hiss. Ekō simply shrugged as he boarded the train with the rest of the personnel there. He took a seat and felt the wind leave his breath as the vehicle lurched forward before speeding off once the sea of people exchanged.

The Mimoto closed his eyes for what felt like seconds before the lurch forward returned as the train finally stopped. It took the nuke a minute to get up and get off the train. He saw a girl stash something and did what any rational man would, walk straight into the girl hard and with a deft sleight of hands, the protruding can was now hidden in his pouch. "Ope, pardon, didn't see you there, sorry." Ekō flashed a smile with his faux apology as he quickly left the station. I bet these beans will warm me up.

Thee man really didn't care about the girl in the slightest, he got free coffee beans, that was enough for him to quickly walk away.

Ekō wasn't born a shinobi, but he was born with the potential of being one. He was gifted with a large reservoir of chakra, being untapped for most of his life. Only upon learning how to bend this energy did he learn the concept of what chakra was. He found himself able to maintain or do multiple skills at once, pushing longer each day like a muscle. This exertion to satiate his curiosity not only exhausted him, it grew with him to satisfy such. Soon, the growth of his ability outpaced what he could train, and his limits were hidden from him. That is until Ekō was labeled a criminal, being on the run and needing to use his full capabilities to get a rest has left him fighting multiple odds over a longer period.

Predator or Prey

Amplifying the boons of the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique], Ekō is able to increase the ability beyond standard capabilities by using his large reserves to fuel the jutsu. Both activation and maintenance chakra costs increase to a High in both aspects. While unable to erase his chakra signature, he can avoid detection in 3 key senses. Any noise created by Ekō is reduced to almost non-existent levels. Unless aided by an enhanced hearing SA, the detection of Ekō without being a sensor is extremely difficult. Giving an extra boon to both defensive and offensive maneuvers when using the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique].

Heightened Intelligence

Due to his unique learning method, there was a great need to store and process this knowledge. As an answer, Ekō learned to be able to develop and nurture a heightened state of intelligence. This enables him to memorize information of extended periods of time, construct/deconstruct the many factors of an idea into a vast theory, observe the patterns of the natural world to apply into the psychological and metaphysical worlds, finally, he can process information at an increased rate. This skill is what sets him apart from the vast majority of individuals. Despite being an acquired skill, it quickly developed to be Ekō's trademark signature.

A simple thief technique used to quickly steal an exposed item, equipment, weapon. The user must be within arm's reach of the target, roughly a 1 meter at most. Using Fūton chakra, the user speeds their arms to the point where it looks like the wind blows as the snatch the item inconspicuously. Another drawback is the strength aspect, a wallet everyone can snatch. A two-ton weight. Nope, not unless you have the required strength and skill to even carry it.

[attr="class","skullbody"]As the girl awaited the arrival of the train the cold crisp air would touch her cheeks prompting her to raise her hood over her head and attempt to warm herself up. As the train managed to arrive she would step away from the door in order to allow the passengers to exit and give herself time to board on the way inside she’d be bumped into by a fellow shinobi she recognized the flak jacket the man wore and he would apologize. "Oh you’re fine…” she’d say with a soft smile on her face.

As she stepped on board the train and took her seat she’d notice a lack of weight in her pocket and that it had been latched open she hadn’t done that, and would exit out of the train and make her way back down to the platform, spotting the man who had bumped into her she wasn’t sure if it was him but she was unable to find it on the ground anywhere and would’ve felt it if it rolled away. Yet as she looked out the train window she’d notice the man running in a huff and would hurriedly exit from her seat. "Scoundrel!” the woman would remark to herself as she exited the train.

She would attempt to keep pace with him as she waded her way through the crowd of people towards the stairs of the train station, trying to keep pace with the man, Those beans were expensive and she wasn’t about her morning ruined by a thief in the night. "Excuse me Sir, I'd like to have a word." the girl would say attempting to hail him hoping she may have been wrong about her initial assumption.
