[Daredemo]

Daredemo Uchiha Hyūga Asuka

    Ever since Shigure had stepped away from his position as an academy instructor Daredemo had been seeing a lot less of him. She had her classes of course, then her shrine duties, her actual training regiment. All this to say that her favorite sensei had unfortunately become someone she didn't get to train with that often. All of this lead to her making a decision that she had in the past completely refused, going to the Hyuuga compound. While the feud between the clan was nowhere near as bad as it used to be, there were still members of the clans who had intense hatred and mistrust for the other clan.

    Daredemo had been that person for a long time. Even now, while she didn't have the hatred she used to, she had a sense of entitlement over them. She couldn't quite explain it, but the pride of the Uchiha meant that the one other eye clan in the village made her feel the need to prove her betterment. She always had an ego, she had thought she was the best student in the academy, but she especially thought she was better than any Hyuuga that stepped through its doors. In a lot ways that made her journey here today even more awkward than just her in-familiarity with it. 

    The younger Hyuuga, the ones around her age at least, already knew who she was. If they had ever been in the academy with her the would likely have heard her yapping on about having the superior dojutsu. But regardless of the glares she was going to get, Daredemo had been told she was welcome to stop by the Hyuuga home if she ever needed anything. Shigure himself had told her so, and he was the one in charge of this compound now as far as Demo was aware. So the girl marched right up to the main building of the compound and asked the first person there to point her to, specifically, 'the rightful head of the Hyuuga clan," how was Daredemo supposed to know the internal politics of the Hyuuga clan. How was she supposed to guess that this Hyuuga, having his own opinions of Shigure which Daredemo had never asked about, would point the young girl straight to the Other child of the recently dead clan former clan head.

A sharp knock on the door of her room again took Asuka by surprise. Asuka had finally found some time to stay in the clan compounds, even though it was technically only for a day. The pressure of the Chuunin Exams were on her shoulders, not only as a Genin that was seeking the promotion, but also as the heiress of the Hyuuga Clan. Even though she knew that the pressure was on her regardless, the fact of the matter was that she didn't really like all the attention. Only those within prestigous clans would know what it felt like to be the next generation, the hopefuls. It certainly didn't help matters now that her father died and her brother became the new heir.

"Asuka-sama, you have a guest."

The sound of a man from behind the door made her curious. Asuka didn't have many friends, and certainly not ones who would visit her at the Hyuuga compounds. For quite a long time the compounds had been quite a hostile place, especially under the watchful eye of her father. And now that he was dead, the unwritten restrictions were lifted on the clan compounds, and yet still nobody would come to visit her. clothed in her usual soft pink kimono, she got up from her chair, having spent the morning working on a drawing. She loved to draw, but only in secret, since she had always been told that her drawings were either lackluster or that drawing itself was a waste of meaningful time that could be used to do something more...sophisticated.

She walked down the hallway towards the entrance, her curiosity getting the better herself. She ran through the incredibly short list of friends and acquaintances she knew, none of whom would actively look for her here. Unless it was an urgent matter, she thought to herself. And as she reached the entrance, she would come face-to-face with someone she had seen before, but not quite interacted. The fact that this girl had come all the way to the compounds to meet her seemed...strange. Despite this, Asuka did her best to be polite and respectful, bowing towards Daredemo. "You wanted to see me...?"

Daredemo Uchiha Hyūga Asuka

    Daredemo's face was one of pure confusion as her eyes squinted and her head cocked to the side. She had certainly seen Asuka before, she was the little sister of Shigure, someone who was certainly important in the clan. Daredemo knew the basics of how the Hyuuga tended to function. She knew that the younger sibling tended to be put into the side branch of the family. Shigure had been trying to change that system, but even then, he was still the leader was he not? The girl quickly noticed that it had been a few awkward moments of silence since Asuka had spoken to her. 

    "O-oh uh... wait," Daredemo was trying her best to start her sentence up but couldn't fully find the words at first, "Sorry. I was actually looking for Shigure. I think they got a little confused? I asked to talk to the rightful clan head." Daredemo paused for a few moments after she talked. Thinking over how she would feel if she still had her older brother and this situation happened to her. It was an unfortunately awkward situation but she just had to shake her head and laugh a bit at what happened. She gave a deep bow to Asuka. She was the sister of Shigure, and at the very least Daredemo respected Shigure enough to pass that respect on to his family as well.

    "It's very nice to meet you however Asuka-san. I'm a student of your older brother. But apparently he's not here? Is he still in Kuwana for the exams?"
