Not much, but still, he wasn't as bright as he had been. Getting soaked to the bone and then having your match end in a uneventful draw, would do that to a person's spirits. Like his skills hadn't been enough to cinch a victory. [break][break] But he had another match to get to, because the first one wasn’t the end of the Third Round apparently. Had the proctors mentioned that? Probably. And he probably hadn’t been paying attention. Whatever. He had rested up and had plenty of chakra in the tank, so he was ready for whoever was thrown at him this time around. [break][break] Nari didn’t know a lot about the Yuki girl he had been paired up with, but from what little he had seen of Hoshino Kohaku’s matches, he knew she was a bukijutsu user - multi-weapons, like Katsuo had been. Honestly, he was just hoping that she didn’t have a bunch of bombs in her arsenal. That would stink, possibly literally. [break][break] The announcer called out their names, not with as much gusto as he had during the first match, but still it rang out over the arena as the two genin got into their places. Once Nari was at his position, he unslung Hisuiyuri from its holster and shifted his weight to the balls of his feet. [break][break] "Let’s have a good match, Hoshino-san!" he called out to her with a cheerful smile on his face. Nari was ready to have a good match and he hoped the girl across from him was as well.
