Yamanaka Itsuki
Itsuki's last match had been a bit of fun, but as he stepped out into the arena this time he was facing someone who wasn't his best friend in the whole world. Sure, it was against an allied nation, but he wasn't going to be able to play this the same way that he had with Miroru. Really, now was the time to start spreading his wings so to speak, he'd shown things off during his last match in a way that had seemed silly but held a second layer of meaning, but now he couldn't really do that.
From what he had watched of the Kyuumu boy, he seemed to utilise genjutsu a lot, though whether that would help Itsuki or not it was impossible to tell, especially since he wasn't entirely sure the kinds of triggers that the older boy might use. At least, that was his best guess for how.... well, unimpressive the Kumo-nin's actions had seemed from a viewer's perspective. That and the feeling of chakra being thrown about with no noticeable effect. It would be interesting at least, Itsuki hadn't gone up against someone else who used genjutsu before.
Not that he was a particularly experienced Genin of course.
Letting his sensory bubble expand out over the arena, the younger boy gave Takame a wide grin
"Hiya, let's try and have some fun together~" he said cheerfully, playing up his small size, cute appearance, and general age to try and throw the other shinobi off his game. It might not work, depending on how much attention Takame had been paying to Itsuki in the second round match, but perhaps he would have only watched yesterday's one, and thus see the Konoha genin as little more than a child.
The moment that the indication to begin was given, Itsuki was already whipping his hands outwards, a series of shuriken flying towards Takame, two of which had explosive tags primed and set on stuck to them, aiming for either side of the other shinobi. The two normal shuriken whizzed to where the older boy might move, his goal being to box Takame into the explosions. He had, after all, been pretending to be a shurikenjutsu specialist, and he wasn't quite ready to use lethal jutsu on an allied shinobi.
Of course, a few moments after the throwing stars shot through the air, a series of chains flew up from the ground and wrapped themselves around the boy, locking him in place with all the strength one might expect from the metal constructs. The water that pooled around him was also an impressive feat. Even knowing it was probably a genjutsu didn't do much to help him out of it, though he wasn't sure exactly how he'd been caught either. Handseals? Trigger word?
Hard to say.
Glancing downwards so he was watching the other boy's feet more than anything, Itsuki let out a loud, impressed whistle a few moments before the exploding tags were set to detonate.
"Wow, that sure is a neat jutsu!~" he declared, even as he tried to catch Takame in a genjutsu of his own,
Kousou, something that would make it even harder for the Kumo-nin to avoid the explosions.

Prodigious Control - Enhanced Chakra Control
The Yamanaka clan have never been known for vast reserves of Chakra, and Itsuki is no exception to this rule. What they are known for however, is their control, of both themselves and of others. Like many of his kin, Itsuki has an instinctive grasp of his own Chakra, to the point that manipulating his chakra is simple as moving any of his other body parts.
Kagura Mind's Eye
The Yamanaka have provided Konoha with many talented Sensors, and Itsuki was flagged as such a possibility early on in his life. With his excellent chakra control, natural talent, and determination (as well as a healthy dose of misfortune and gruelling training) he was able to push his sensory abilities beyond the norm. Guided by one of Konoha's greatest living sensors, Itsuki was able to develop the Kagura Mind's Eye. Through this, he is able to detect emotions, intent, and when others are lying. He is also able to passively sense chakra up to 500 meters away, and when actively using his ability may reach up to 2.5 kilometers.

DESCRIPTION:
This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.
