Every day was a day to train and even more so since she got her position as a bodyguard to the Mizukage. So that's what Kyoko would be doing today. There were no missions to undergo and from what she remembered from their last meeting it should be a relatively lax day for the Mizukage's duties. He might even get to relax for once instead of being buried in paperwork like he normally would be. So he wouldn't need both bodyguards today. This would be Kyoko's turn to take time off to work on herself while her brother would either be helping out the Kage or doing his own thing. She wasn't fully sure of what her brother did in his spare time and while she would like to know it wasn't her business to find out.[break][break]

Today's practice would be relatively simple. Well to a degree at least. She wanted to perfect her killing blows. Making them as quiet as possible and executing someone without making a sound. She would even be able to use Nuibari for this practice session. Of course, because she was using the weapon she needed to train in a specialty reserved training area only a few had access to. She had to keep her identity a secret for as long as she could while she was using the weapon. Only be allowed to use it in specific circumstances. This was ultimately fine with her as it just meant she could train herself to do many different weapon styles when not using the special weapon, but every time she did get the chance to use it was something she treasured. It was like the sword and she had this bond and she felt so at home using it over any other weapon in her arsenal.[break][break]

The many dummies in the training ground would be scattered in different areas at different angles. The light in the room would be off and the dummies would have flashlights attached to them. This was to show the line of sight so she could attack them silently and unseen. Sneaking around the shadows wasn't the most difficult part of this training exercise, but rather using Nuibari itself. Because of the wire, she had to keep her hand stable to not let them drag or rub against each other. The squeak of the wire could alert people of her positioning. When she was in the range of one of the dummies she threw the blade toward the back of their head and once it pierced the dummy she would pull it back with the string doing her best to keep the dummy attached to the blade and bringing the dummy to her. Then using the rafters of the training area she would hang the body suspended in the air with some wire string she had on her person to hide the body.

In reality, the council preferred that Toru had bodyguards round the clock. He was not just the Mizukage after all, he was threefold amongst the most important people in the village. A Mizukage was only one of those titles. But with his own confidence in his abilities he sometimes let his two bodyguards - quietly - off the hook. Though Daichi regularly did not allow for such a thing to occur even at Toru's own insistence that his faithful companion take rest. It was not as if he did not have others to watch over him an exceedingly irritating rate.

Toru had heard word that one of his bodyguards Kyoko would be in one of the secret facilities training, so, naturally he felt the need to arrange his own appearance. He was a swordsman after all, there was no harm in teaching the girl a thing or two about his most preferred weapon of choice.

But he would not come as Toru.

He showed up shrouded in Oinin garb with a mask over his face - his old mask that represented the heron - and his hair was not quite silver, it was black. Behind the mask his voice was distorted enough that without listening carefully, Kyoko might not recognize her leader immediately.

This would be a fun game, until he revealed himself, but that was for later.

For now he wandered in, none of his regular swords in his arsenal - just a few katanas slung to his back.

Though he only walked in after she had hung one of the dummies from the rafters and he looked up towards it without a word.

"Interesting tactic, and what of the corpse? Will that not too attract attention?"
