[Mission Thread] DESCRIPTION: Sakuraba and Mitsu are sent to investigate an ancient Tantetsu mine and report if anything dangerous lurks in there. Upon entering a fork, they choose a path – fate deems them unlucky as they run straight into a Mole Bear, which had burrowed its way into the mine from here. Deemed a threat to the two of them and to the safety of those who live near the mine, they quickly attack it – Sakuraba pins it down despite the tight space around him, making use of forced flexibility on his behalf, while Mitsu coats the Mole Bear in molten metal to end the fight. Sakuraba is pulled back by her before the metal can harm him too, just in time for the tunnelway to collapse by the thrashing of the dying Mole Bear. The two just make it out of the collapsing tunnelway and end up at the fork once more. With wounds being treated by Mitsu, Sakuraba and her return to surveying the other tunnel before turning back to finish the mission.

DESCRIPTION: Sakuraba and Mitsu attend one of the Okada clan’s gyms to master an interesting step method technique, and to optimize their training, Sakuraba introduces a ring area with a bunch of flags spinning around that they’re tasked with maneuvering through – without getting hit, that is. This obstacle course tested their capabilities with removing the habit of moving beyond what was necessary to slither through, in an area where the slightest excess of movement would lead to getting hit by a flag. It was overwhelming at first, sending both Genin flying over the side, but they managed to get the hang of it. Even more so, the technique proved much more impactful when used outside of the flag course, as Sakuraba showed.

With Taki herself serving as the toughest sparring dummy ever, Sakuraba tests out his capabilities with this new Jutsu, and despite not mastering it immediately, his development in Ninjutsu appears to surpass her expectations. He has a knack for Lightning Release that not many others have...

Into The Pits MISSION RANK: C-Rank NPC REQUIRED: N/A RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Okada Sakuraba Tantetsu Mitsu Nanashi Yuki Mission Board: Mission Submission Mission Thread: Into The Pits [Mission Thread] DESCRIPTION: Sakuraba, Mitsu and Yuki represent the shinobi from Iwagakure that participate in Shizuoka's 'pit' fights, a traditional battle arena to keep the non-shinobi populace within the industrial city physically fit and nearing the level of shinobi themselves. Against three brutish weapon specialists, the three-man team refrain from using Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, purely relying on physical arts and techniques that many non-shinobi are also able to obtain. With such handicaps, the three weapon specialists prove much more of a challenge, but with Mitsu's proficient acrobatics, Sakuraba's own interest in weaponry, and Yuki's abnormal strength, the three shinobi claim victory in their pit fight and put on quite a show for the populace to see.
