This sort of thing was usually something that they sent his mother to do since she had been semi-retired from missions. Being one of the leading medics, she mostly worked inside of the clinic in the village and she was well-known for her knowledge in plants. This was, of course, not out of the ordinary with the Nakahara since they were commonly farmers and growers of medicinal plants that simple could not, or rather, would not grow for other people. Many had tried to immitate the Nakahara, and yet they had all failed spectacularly.

Of course, he wasn't exactly exempt from that. Having been born with no talent in the plant cultivation, and subsequent use of, the plants of his family Ichi turned to his innate gift for something to focus on instead. So here he was in an academy classroom he was all too familiar with, an extension that was sponsored by his own family on the roof of the school for the students. A small greenhouse with rows of plants, all labelled and kept neatly. Mostly kept by the children of the academy. Today he would be introducing them to the plants, which ones were edible, what they could find in the wild that could be used to stop bleeding, and the plants kept in the back, the plants to absolutely be avoided in Nohara.

Openning the door the giant chunin would inhale from his pipe one last time, knowing better than to smoke while inside the building. A handseal to cover and snuff his pipe would be followed with a deep exhale upwards and him emptying his pipe into the small jar that he carried on the inside of his yukata. Waiting for the students to come surface for the lesson.

Ichi's SA's and Techniques in Use:[break][break]

『Harvest Moon's Child』
Ichi was born to the Nakahara clan on the night of a Harvest Moon. Born with quite the green thumb he was assumed to be an inheritor of the clan's natural talents with plants. The roots ran deeper, however, as Ichi was born with a Kekkai Genkai, being a rare natural occurance of Wood Release outside of the Senju. In learning of this he has trained his kekkai to the best of his abilities. He is no master, seeing as he has no reference of Mokuton, but he has found a way to bring out techniques along side his own talents in a cohesive manner.

Ichi was born with Mokuton, but he was not graced with the same level of chakra as the Senju would be in his situation. Being roughly average for an individual, Ichi instead focused on the skills his birth clan preferred. Practicing his medical skills, he has gained a higher quality of Chakra Control. Ichi is much less likely to leak chakra than the average shinobi because of this.

『The Festival's Atmosphere』
Having practiced his skills with extending his senses outwards with the use of mokuton chakra, Ichi is particularly adept at sensing life in an area. Capable of finding life through the very nature around people. Within [20 meters] Ichi is capable of passively sensing out plant and animal life in a general sense. Able to differentiate it between plant and animal, but no further. Unlike chakra sensory Ichi can not more or less readily sense others based on their chakra, but instead purely senses the 'vitality' in things, though even those with seemingly boundless vitality will read the same as the elderly or a newborn to him. Also unlike usually sensory to actively search out individuals Ichi requires Mokuton, or the use of his pipe (though using it makes his position much easier to locate), as a catalyst to extend his senses, only going out as far as the technique's range, or twice his passive range in case of the pipe. It is also notable that the deceased, and those that feign death in some fashion, as through a poison or a jutsu, are completely invisible to Ichi. Notably the furthest he can extend his senses is [100 meters].

[attr="class","lightbluetext"]The rooftop greenhouses were one of Hatoza favorite places within the Academy. Even though he was only a Nakahara through adoption, he still felt a kinship with plants. The smell of fresh dirt and blooming flowers always made him feel calmer when things sometimes got too much.

So the fact that today’s lesson was taking place in said greenhouses made the young boy happy. He’d been getting irritated over his attempts to learn chakra control, so a day off to learn other things was probably just what he needed.

So the boy eagerly made his way through the halls of the Academy and up to the rooftops, ready to start whatever lesson Ichi had in store for them. It was just another bonus that the one teaching the lesson was his cousin.

Hatoza liked Ichi. The tall chunin had always been nice to him, even when Hatoza hadn’t been the most personable during those early days of his adoption.

The young boy entered the greenhouses that he had been told to go to, inhaling the scent as he crossed the threshold. It brought a small smile to his face as he looked around the area to find Ichi. Once he located his cousin, not hard considering he towered over the tables of plants, he approached the older man, giving a small wave in greeting.

He was ready to learn, they just had to wait for the others to arrive.

Even though he's never known the clan, Hatoza is a Kyōbō. He was born with the clan's telltale unique chakra, granting him unique abilities. Not only is his chakra a pale violet in color, it can also be manipulated and weaponized at his command. With practice, he's able to create weapons out of the chakra, enhance jutsu, or create "auras" that he can manipulate to attack his opponents.

This ability is fueled by strong emotions, most commonly anger and can be controlled if Hatoza manages to control his emotions, though this is not easy, especially for someone so young. Theoretically, the stronger the emotions Hatoza feels, the stronger his attacks will be. But there is always the risk of losing control if he falls too much into an emotion, which could cause him to be a danger to himself and those around him.

Lessons in Greenery

Lessons could be either exciting things or boring things to Saito it just depending on the subject matter and the person teaching it. Today's lesson honestly could go either way for the hyperactive child. Learning about plants didn't seem like something he could enjoy it seemed rather benign for someone of his ambition, but he wasn't about to just skip it. The more lessons he attended the more knowledge he would absorb and thus be closer to graduating from the academy. This would also mean he would be closer to being a hero for the village so graduating as soon as possible was a big goal for him.[break][break]

Of course, he wouldn't do this alone though. He wanted to share the spotlight with his brother Kaito so the twins could be the heroes that encompass both day and night. Swallow Tail and Tiger Coat, the moon and sun of Kusagakure, it was a dream for the two of them to become the best of the best and write their names down in history. So it went without saying he would make sure his brother was also involved in the lessons with him whenever he could. This didn't always work out in their favor, but when it did the two would always run off of each other's energies and be a pseudo headache for people watching over them. Today was not going to be any exception.[break][break]

Getting to the lesson was always a race and almost every race would end up with them alternating in victory. Today's race would result in his victory as Saito reached the greenhouse before his brother. "Victory is mine," Saito would exclaim as he entered the greenhouse with his brother in tow. Slightly breathing heavily trying to catch his breath he would turn to his brother and add, "With that, I pull ahead once more!" His more eloquent speaking patterns were a bit dulled down due to his staggered breathing. Turning his attention to the teacher and the student who arrived before them he would say, "Bask in the presence of the great Futago Twins!" Striking a pose to compliment his own brother's actions.

For Kaito, his interest in a gardening class couldn't have been any lower. He didn't really care how plants absorbed sunlight and put it into the soil or whatever they did. The only plants he was interested in were gigantic man eating behemoths of legend that he could defeat... well that he could defeat in his mind. But Saito wanted to go, and they had kiiinda built their entire aesthetic around being together. But thankfully that freed him up to plan their entrances! Plus he had convinced his brother to teach him how to utilize a few of the academy jutsu he was behind on in exchange.

They had planned several entrances to the class. Given the reliance on sunlight plants had, Saito had thought it interesting to try and bring some sort of luminous object to light the room as they entered. This plan eventually grew into arriving in outfits of the sun and moon with their respective skies. The next came their signature 'hero' outfits; a faux tiger skin outfit complete with cloak and false head, and a feathery mystic robe. Kaito soon settled on a simple entrance, not wanting to loose the teacher and ruin Saito's lesson.

As per usual they began the race to academy and eventually their own class room, with Kaito lagging behind his sibling due to a misalignment with his pauldrons. The two would trade the lead on the way there, Kaito regaining a foot hold through sheer determination, Saito using a rocky short cut to slow Kaito down, Kaito taking back lost ground by launching himself around corners with swinging momentum, and Saito having finally won out by measuring his pace and energy. This would result in another victory for Kaito's brother, bringing him to the lead. "Next time I will not go so easy on you!" Kaito would quip back at his brother's boasting before turning to his teacher. He'd slowly regain his breath as he took in the green house the lesson was taking place in. It wasn't that lame, looking at it in person. Still wasn't exactly the coolest place.

As his brother gave the cue, Kaito would strike another pose, positioning himself as the front man of the duo with Saito as a looming figure behind him. Truly and epic portrait.

It was quite the entrance, and seeing a pair working so well in tandem was always a good sign for him. With energetic children, you usually a more interesting lesson, and Ichi could certainly oblige to that for his village's people. He would do basic chores for some of the strangers in the village, teaching upcoming shinobi was just another part of it.

"Quite spectacular the entrance, it could use a better backdrop though don't you boys agree?" Ichi would say as he performed a string of seals and pressed his hand to the rooftop. Grass beginning to grow underneath their feet to the edges of the roof before they stopped. Giving the brothers an incredible greenery to their backs that made the view truly pop from the stone roof. Truly everything was better in color, autumn was the best for a reason wasn't it?

"A marvelous showing Kaito, Saito. Good to see you here as well Hato-kun. Are you boys ready for a lesson in plants? They may not seem very flashy but they can save your lives, or another's! Which is the flashiest kind of assistance you can ever give someone," His speech clearly dictated towards drawing the other boys, but a knowing one-eyed glance to Hatoza told the boy he was trying to make this fun.

Kaito's pride swelled at any applause from the more experienced shinobi around him, and such praise also increased enthusiasm ten fold! Truly, if the teacher could notice such a quality entrance, it gave credence to any lesson he had. The further critique caused the young man to shake his head confidently, having already dismissed such a plan earlier. "Ah, our glory is radiant enough as is! No need to force the other students into our shadows! Who knows if they'd ever free themselves from it's dark embrace." Kaito found himself yet again boasting, rebelling against his reputation as the class standard in all things through claims of power as well as prowess. Of course, the young boy would remain entirely ignorant of the transfomation behind him, until a blade of grass grazed the back of his head. Turning to see who was attempting to tease the leader of the duo, Kaito's mouth fell agape as he took in the sight behind him.

This was easily the most epic thing anyone had ever done for him! With just a few signs and a touch, a backdrop of large tall grass overtook the entrance, towering over the duo as if challenging them to explore their hidden pathway beneath! Truly, this class was worth entering. Leaning towards his brother, Kaito would briefly break their almost ever present character, a habit they almost never broke around others. "This class was worth it, I'm sorry I ever doubted you." Turning towards the teacher yet not moving from the epic background he had been gifted, the young Futago would nod with determination. [attr="class","lightbluetext"]Hatoza flinched a bit at the cacophony of noise that came from the twins charging into the rooftop area. He didn’t exactly like loud noises, and the Futago twins were noisy. Ichi seemed to find the boys’ entrance amusing, if the applause was anything to go by, but he thought it was a little excessive. They were just in the rooftop gardens, after all, there wasn’t any need to be racing around like mad men.

After praising the twins’ show and greeting him, Ichi got into the lesson. Hatoza was excited for his lesson in plants, though he wasn’t as vocal about it as Kaito was...or was that Saito? He internally shrugged to himself, at least he knew the Futago boys’ names, even if they were easy to mix up.

Hatoza remained next to Ichi, somewhat away from the boys, who were conversing between each other in hushed tones. He didn’t know them very well, despite being in the same Academy class, so he preferred being closer to the individual he was more familiar with.

He was especially interested in the life-saving plants. He knew a little about healing plants, being part of the Nakahara clan, but he wanted to get in depth with his knowledge. Hopefully, Ichi would be able to get into the stuff he was wishing for.

Even though he's never known the clan, Hatoza is a Kyōbō. He was born with the clan's telltale unique chakra, granting him unique abilities. Not only is his chakra a pale violet in color, it can also be manipulated and weaponized at his command. With practice, he's able to create weapons out of the chakra, enhance jutsu, or create "auras" that he can manipulate to attack his opponents.

This ability is fueled by strong emotions, most commonly anger and can be controlled if Hatoza manages to control his emotions, though this is not easy, especially for someone so young. Theoretically, the stronger the emotions Hatoza feels, the stronger his attacks will be. But there is always the risk of losing control if he falls too much into an emotion, which could cause him to be a danger to himself and those around him.

Applause was the food of the soul and the twins were given much praise in the form of their teacher for today's lesson. However, what made this even better was both the critique and addition they provided for the twin's display. A backdrop of wonderous proportions as the twins would be enveloped in green. Then Kaito would boast about their abilities to which Saito would join in and add, "Fret not dear brother for even in the darkest shadows shines the brightest light. Our brilliance shall only help to illuminate their brilliance!" Saito would smile back at his brother when he saw the beauty that was around them and how enthralled he was now with how this lesson was already going.[break][break]

"See we just got to keep an open mind," Saito would whisper to his brother in response to being doubted. Then following his brother's cue he would add to his comment about them learning within a fortnight. "If not sooner dear brother for our combined abilities we can delve into the depths of knowledge and emerge as scholars in mere days!" This was probably not true, but it was a part of their characters to be a bit on the arrogant side even if Saito was at least to some degree practical of the two twins. Once it was all said and done though Saito would quickly make it to this seat making sure to leave a spot right next to him for Kaito so they could be by each other during the lesson.

Autumn's impression had been imprinted in his mind so early that his love for the very idea of it had changed him for what he hoped was the better. Clapping for the two's antics as Hatoza whispered something to Ichi, excusing himself from the lesson with a simple nod of the giant's head. Ichi smiled back to the two.

Please come close, as I will tell you about not two, but three plants. They are abundant within many nations and you should recognize them if you are to be in the field," Ichi would begin as he moved to the most common of the three plants and pulled a kunai to run through one of the leaves of the leafy plant. Its bulbous leaf having been seemingly chewed by something.

"This is an aloe vera plant, when they are not eaten they are incredibly versatile. Food, burns, and coagulating wounds are all things this plant excels at. The meat of the leaves, this gel here is an edible bandage. Like most plants its not great raw for food, but its better then starving I assure you. Now, Saito you oft take medical classes here in the academy. Can you tell me what medicnes Aloe Vera gets used in commonly?"

Ichi's SA's and Techniques in Use:[break][break]

『Harvest Moon's Child』
Ichi was born to the Nakahara clan on the night of a Harvest Moon. Born with quite the green thumb he was assumed to be an inheritor of the clan's natural talents with plants. The roots ran deeper, however, as Ichi was born with a Kekkai Genkai, being a rare natural occurance of Wood Release outside of the Senju. In learning of this he has trained his kekkai to the best of his abilities. He is no master, seeing as he has no reference of Mokuton, but he has found a way to bring out techniques along side his own talents in a cohesive manner.

『Weaver of Wood』
Ichi was born with Mokuton, but he was not graced with the same level of chakra as the Senju would be in his situation. Being roughly average for an individual, Ichi instead focused on the skills his birth clan preferred. Practicing his medical skills, he has gained a higher quality of Chakra Control. Ichi is much less likely to leak chakra than the average shinobi because of this.

『The Festival's Atmosphere』
Having practiced his skills with extending his senses outwards with the use of mokuton chakra, Ichi is particularly adept at sensing life in an area. Capable of finding life through the very nature around people. Within [20 meters] Ichi is capable of passively sensing out plant and animal life in a general sense. Able to differentiate it between plant and animal, but no further. Unlike chakra sensory Ichi can not more or less readily sense others based on their chakra, but instead purely senses the 'vitality' in things, though even those with seemingly boundless vitality will read the same as the elderly or a newborn to him. Also unlike usually sensory to actively search out individuals Ichi requires Mokuton, or the use of his pipe (though using it makes his position much easier to locate), as a catalyst to extend his senses, only going out as far as the technique's range, or twice his passive range in case of the pipe. It is also notable that the deceased, and those that feign death in some fashion, as through a poison or a jutsu, are completely invisible to Ichi. Notably the furthest he can extend his senses is [100 meters].[break][break]

『Master of Festival Games』

Ichi is incredibly smart for someone his age, but he lacks the qualifications to be a scholar. This is because his intelligence is not found in understanding of principles and anything so magnificiently deep. It instead lies in his observational talents and ability to react to everything that is going on around him with an absolute calm. Being able to plan and act with just minute details to go off of, Ichi is best described as a schemer and a diplomat rather than a genius. This makes him perfect for roles that are heavy in Tactical and Diplomatic Decision Making, as he grasps larger images and can put together clues better than others. Effectively allowing him to take in the wider picture of everything going on and piece together practical responses in mere moments with little to no hesitation or error.
