Relations between the land of fire and the land of lightning had been blossoming really well in the last few months to the point that ninjas from each village often traveled between each village for missions and training of various types since each country offered different environments for training. Kaede had been asked to partake in some special training by the Raikage Lady Kizumi. Kaede had been asked if he didn't mind training with a ninja from the leaf village. Details were laid out on the table for transparency so Kaede would be given the choice prior to accepting the task and the choice would be left up to him if he wanted to accept the task or not since there was a great chance of danger.

Kizumi explained to Kaede that the young genin coming for the potential training would be the holder of the nine-tailed beast, so the potential danger to Kaede would be present during the training. Things were explained that to help progress her training further she needed a higher level of training only someone with Kaede's experience could help with. Considering Kaede's vast experience it only made the most sense to him. Kaede knew there would be a danger, but liked to step up to a challenge given to him, even though in recent memory Kaede has been less than willing to help with things though that is because of the particular lifestyle he has chosen. Kaede insisted that the training took place away from the village in case of danger, but also requested the presence of the Konoha seal team in order to control her seal if it would get out of control. Kaede knew better than anyone though that the nine-tailed holder would need a little push in order to take full advantage of the training. The training would take place in the valley of lightning not too far away from the village but far enough away to maintain a safe zone. Kaede had given instructions to the escorts that would have come with the nine-tailed holder, to meet him in the valley of lightning the training ground for this epic encounter that was sure to come. Though a hint of caution would be required considering who he was working with. Kaede had prepared everything he needed beforehand and even had prepared some food as he was sure that hunger might prove to be a factor at some point. He had it all tucked away as the sage waited for the nine-tails arrival, he had been given the heads up prior that her name was Miroru. For now, though Kaede would be sitting upon a large stone with his legs crossed, he had his eyes closed as he concentrated to gather nature chakra for the use of his sage mode if it would be required later on, he didn't want to be left unprepared.

There were lots of people one might envision when imagining the host of a towering, country-threatening beast like the Kyuubi. Someone strong of body, perhaps, with muscles to defend the seal entrapping the powerful monster within. Maybe a talented Ninjutsu specialist, their veteran expertise showing in their bearing and demeanor.

A skinny little kid barely into her teens who (accurately) looked like she'd just been fitted for her chuunin flak vest probably wasn't on that list.

But that's who showed up with the Konoha escort, sauntering in within their escort, hands folded behind her head and near the handle of the heavy warfan she carried on her back, a posture she abandoned when they entered the valley selected for the training, lifting a hand to wave cheerfully at Kaede as they approached, shifting to hold them at her sides and bow politely when they got into conversational range.

"My name is Uchiha Miroru, and it's a pleasure to meet you! I'll be in your care today!"

She straightened after her introduction and smiled at him. She wasn't entirely unmarked by her time as a ninja. Burn scars wreathed her forearms, for instance, and there was a faint edge to her eyes. She held an easy and casual expression, but she wasn't a wet behind the ears academy student. She'd spilled blood before.

"Just don't give up on me! We can figure this out!"

To Kaede's knowledge, the escort team was bringing the holder of the Kyuubi to the valley had to be nearly here by now as he had timed it to a degree with his knowledge of the land and how far it and how quick it would take them and before long the escort team bringing the holder of the Kyuubi had arrived in the valley for exercise that would be undertaken. Kaede for now would continue to stay still on the ground with his legs crossed still as he continued to gather sage chakra with a good supply ready if he was to need it later on.

The young girl who was the holder of the Kyuubi appeared before him finally as she introduced herself as Kaede looked at the girl with his eyes, the first scan of her body seemed like she was ready for what today held for them and with his second scan he could see that she wasn't shy to a battle with the various battle scars on her body. She would introduce herself as Uchiha Miroru. Kaede had heard of the Uchiha clan as it was a famous clan within the Land Of Fire a clan famous for special eyes, though it seemed on first glance that the girl processed no such visual prowess, that didn't stop her strength as she was the holder of the strongest Bijuu the Kyuubi. Today would be extremely dangerous for both of them as it involved helping her to train with her fox. Kaede had been asked as he is a powerful shinobi in his own right and probably could handle some phase in her training to a degree.

"Welcome Miroru, not sure if much was explained to you, but my name is Himemura Kaede and I will be performing several exercises with you today involving the Kyuubi, The team you had been escorted with contain a seal team in case things get bad. Also, we are quite a distance from the village for obvious reasons as well. " After speaking Kaede continued to gather sage energy hoping he didn't need to use it.

"Thank you, Himemura-sensei. I appreciate you taking the time to teach me. I'll have to thank Auntie Kizumi for arranging this." She scratched the back of her head briefly, admitting, "-I'm still getting used to some people knowing what's going on. I shouldn't be surprised, really- Onee-chan- er... Azarea-san- would of course report knowledge of another village's Jinchuuriki. I suppose it's more the feeling of being around only people that know and not having to keep a lid on things for once that's really the odd part."

As he continued to gather sage energy and remain motionless, Miroru came over, crouching and perching on the balls of her feet as she considered the sage in meditative focus. "... you know, I talked with someone about what it might take to pretend to play off the Old Fox's gifts as, like. Fox Sage traits? But I've never been super good at meditation. They said there was a way to work with a Sage Animal to get the same nature stuff as sitting still does. How come you don't do that?"

She wasn't- SURE- he was a Sage. Not in the slightest, but the point of the vulnerability of having to remain still and meditate had stuck out as something she knew she'd have been awful at trying to do. So finding Kaede staying oddly still stood out to her, and- well, if she acted like she was more familiar with the arts of the Sages than she really was, maybe he'd just assume she knew what she was talking about and she'd learn something new!

Of course, chances were just as good he'd just deny it. She'd take his word on that if he did, after all, but it was worth a shot to the tireless trickster!
