Kit did not exactly like the idea of extra training, as ninja work for her was just a means to an end. She had a tendency to fall behind in some areas of class, and the only real way to fix that was through studying. After all, the faster she became a Genin, the sooner her adoptive "father" would get off her back. This was what lead her to staying after school at Sunagakure's academy.

Her classes' teacher, sensei Jojah, would often hold these after class study sessions. The man really did care about his students, even the reluctant ones.

The girl found herself sitting in front of a long desk, looking down at her teacher lecturing about chakra points. The man seemed to go on and on, "And the 209th chakra point is linked to the-" YAWN, the girl thought to herself. If she needed to learn something, she at least wanted it to be entertaining. It felt like most of the things being taught wouldn't be all that helpful in the field...

The lecture would be cut short however, as a man would enter the room and whisper something into Jojah's ear. The sensei's face quickly changed to a look of surprise as he learned an incredible piece of news. "Oh... Wow. Class, it looks like we've got a very special guest coming."

A special guest? That defiantly wasn't normal for an after school study group. "This should be interesting," the girl pondered aloud. Meanwhile, their sensi seemed to be scrambling around the room, trying to tidy the place up as quickly as possible.

A HEART'S A HEAVY BURDEN

A very special guest. Offscreen, Kizumi groaned. The last thing she needed was for a class full of ten-year-olds to be intimidated to hell and back because of the razzle-dazzle of a foreign Kage showing up mid-class. She was a jounin! That was all they needed to know.

It was all part of her grand diplomacy-making plan. If she outed herself as the Raikage, word would spread like wildfire, and it would be so grotesquely obvious as a PR stunt that it could wrap back around to making her look bad. If she kept it low-key and just introduced herself as a foreign jounin, word would still spread, but at least she’d made the effort to be somewhat respectable and discreet.

A master plan. Maybe she wasn’t so bad at politicking after all.

As the sensei scrambled to tidy everything up, Kizumi decided to make her own entrance, circumventing any possible introductions.

"Good afternoon!” she said brightly, striding through the doorway in all of her five-foot-four glory. "Hirana Kizumi, a jounin from Kumogakure. I’m so excited to do a little guest lesson for you kids today!”

Something in her voice was over-the-top, the kind of chirpy enthusiasm reminiscent of grade-school teachers, and likely the sole reason why she had never been voluntold to be an academy instructor in her own village. Perfectly fine with kids one-on-one, absolutely useless at handling a group of them.

"My main speciality is in weapons, and not just the normal kind of shinobi tools that y’all might be used to seeing,” she went on. She held out her arms to give the class a good look at—well, at all of her, the clean silhouette of her standard clothing, pouches, leather sealing bracelets. Notably, the only weapons she had visible on her person was the bow on her shoulder and the quiver at the small of her back. "I’ll give a thousand ryo to whoever can guess the closest to how many weapons I have on me right now.”
