Mokuton NAME: Mokuton: Hahen Hakidasu [Wood Release: Spitting Splinters] RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Mokuton HANDSEALS: 3 DESCRIPTION: Forming three handseals the user curls their tongue and begins concentrating chakra there. A wooden senbon will form in the crevice moments later. After which they can spit it at a target, sending the weapon at speeds similar to a kunai. Due to its wooden nature the senbon can only pierce soft materials such a clothing and flesh. NAME: Mokuton: Netsuita Kiso [Wood Release: Rooted Footing] RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Mokuton. HANDSEALS: 3 DESCRIPTION: The user preforms the necessary handseals while concentrating chakra at the heels of their feet; from which several root like wooden beams roughly an inch thick and a meter in length grow into the ground from the users soles. This technique increases the users footing, balance and stability; making it almost impossible to knock them over without up rooting them first. While this technique is in effect the user is immobile, unable to move from their rooted position without first releasing the technique. It must be noted that this might become a detriment to the user if an enemies technique would cause further damage because of their stationary position. If used on a wooden surface, this technique just creates a strong bond between the users feet and wood, slightly stronger than the tree climbing technique. The user remains planted firmly in the ground until they release the technique, in which the mokuton "snaps" off their heels. NAME: Mokuton: Mekki [Wood Release: Plating] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Medium (Low Upkeep) CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Mokuton HANDSEALS: 5 DESCRIPTION: After a short string of handseals the user holds the serpent handseal, from then onward a 4 inch thick and 10 inch wide layer of mokuton grows from their epidermis anywhere on their body. This board acts as a temporary armor panel, capable of providing protection against basic weaponry and jutsu. Due to it's chakra reinforced nature, metal blades such as standard katana can not slash or pierce through it without sufficient force used or a unique sharpness/cutting quality. The user must hold the final serpent handseal to keep the wood plate firmly in place, and thus are incapable of preforming other jutsu that require them. Once the handseal has been released the mokuton panel will simply fall off their body and onto the ground.

- Change wording of "near instantly" to something a bit slower. Should not be instant for a d-rank.

Mokuton: Netsuita Kiso [Wood Release: Rooted Footing]
- So the person is immobile. Is it for a split second to simply keep oneself in place? If so, please note this. If not, then please also include the major drawback of this technique - which is the person cannot move at all as they are rooted in for however long this technique lasts - ie you need to explain how long it lasts.

Mokuton: Mekki [Wood Release: Plating]
- Raise hand seals to 5
- Does this jutsu require that the handseals be held the entire time? Such a plate would not grow instantly so there would be some time needed, furthermore the character would be more or less incapable of performing much else while holding the hand seals since two hands are required to do a hand seal (unless they have a one handed SA).

Only note here, could we pull out "(equivalent jutsu/weapon or strength or sharpness sa)." I want to keep more flexibility for rulings because sometimes a tech is specifically designed for a cutting purpose, etc., so hard-setting limits like this doesn't always apply.
