There was a humbling reality one had to come upon when they got into constant fights- There were going to be more losses than wins. It was the nature of it, really. Taro was no stranger to defeat, and today wasn't an exception, as the wounded warrior stumbled his way through the streets of Amegakure.
Another brawl in the alleyways. Another unsanctioned fight. Another bout of getting jumped by three guys at once. Sure, he was a Shinobi, a tough one at that, but he wasn't exactly using his Ninja Tricks against thugs in the street. He was a bit more... Hands on, then that. Which left him on the downward slope. He fought dirty, sure, but he never fought in way that might kill some civilian. It wasn't really the way he worked.
Which, in the case of a three on one, left him beaten, bruised, and quite a bit broken. Taro was walking on a damaged leg- A broken nose- And several fractures. Not to mention scrapes, bruises, and bleeding cuts that he'd basically packed with cloth and called it a day. At least he was only down some ryo at best, rather than anything actually important.
Of course, when the Watch Corps caught him, they tossed him half-assedly right into the hospital waiting room. Against his will, of course. If it were up to Taro, he'd just lick his wounds, rest for a while, and stubbornly try to fix things himself. Why rely on others on something he'd healed naturally from before?
Whatever. It was out of his hands now. Despite his protests, he was stuck here in this crappy waiting room, having been sitting here for what felt like hours. Drenched in rain, sweat, blood, and bruised skin, to anyone untrained, he looked half-dead already. But anyone with even a miniscule amount of medical training could tell it was all surface deep. Bruises, cuts, a few fractures, maybe one true broken bone- It'd take some time to clean up and fix, perhaps, but it wasn't exactly going to put the shinobi into the ground.
That said, it also wasn't something anyone would want to leave untreated. Regardless, he had no idea how long he was going to be waiting here, in the middle of the night. A hospital as nice and large as Amegakure, it'd be hard pressed to not be filled with people looking for fixes for their endless amounts of nonsensical flaws and faults. Not to mention the likely bureaucracy that came with all that advancement.
Taro could only imagine, because truth be told, even as his family had 'blended in' with society at large, and even as Taro had spent his time in the academy... He was still getting very used to all of this. Guess it was harder to take the wild out of the child, rather than the other way around.
