[Yasuraka Hitsukai]

Hitsukai had woken early that morning as all the other monks had. Already he had performed his morning prayers, tended to his chores, completed the first set of exercises for the day and seen to several other such obligations or needs. The sun had since rose up into the sky and now radiated down onto the surrounding desert. Many were likely taking shelter inside as the peak heat of the day approached, but for Hitsukai and a few other individuals, they would not have such an option.

Currently Hitsukai's trek was bringing him ever closer to the point which had been designated for his genin team to gather before departing on a mission. It was the first mission he had participated in since returning from the exams and his emotions were a little split on the matter. On one hand he was pleased to be out and actually doing a proper job for the village, one which would further help to reinforce that his decision to continue on as part of the warriors of Bishamon had been the right one. On the other hand however, part of him had something of a knot in his gut. He did not know his new teammates so well; he had seen them in passing, but this was to be his first mission as a proper member of a team rather than an old genin getting shifted from team to team so as to fill gaps where necessary.

Arriving at the planned meeting location, it seemed he was the first to arrive. He provided paperwork to some of the guards watching over the main gate nearby to show he had been ordered out on a mission and as such was permitted to pass, taking a moment to explain he would be waiting for his team for the time being. Once the guards were made aware of the situation, the monk moved closer to the ravine walls which flanked the road into the village. Taking a moment to adjust the kasa hat which he had donned to keep the unrelenting sun off of his clean shaven scalp; the monk then decided to be productive and began one of the training methods for the monks.

He proceeded to take a very deep and long breath inwards, followed by what seemed like puffing his cheeks slightly before he forced the air down into his already pack lungs by swallowing via the Heavenly Inhalation Technique* then proceeded to keep pushing himself, attempting to make use of the force all over his body from the pressure in his lungs to the weights adorning most of his body to help aid in pushing down even more air. While he had learned the initial stage of the technique, the true version was still out of his reach and given he had no idea how long his teammates would take, he figured the time might as well be spent productively. As the training proceeded, Hitsukai made occasional glances down the road, hoping to spot his teammates sooner rather than later.

Miori had woken with an annoyed grunt, which was strange given that this was her first good night's sleep in a while. She had to cut her vigilante work short last night because of this mission, knowing well that if she came in as anything less than her usual self people would start asking questions. Despite the practicality of it, leaving the street without a proper dose of fear left a bad taste in Miori's mouth, even as she went about her morning chores. She'd start with making sure all evidence of the Lady of the Dunes was removed, before doing her best to locate her mission outfit, and place a few webs on it to sell the idea that she had been napping in a web hammock again.

As she slowly counted the minutes to ensure she would be late to the rendezvous, the girl began to plan her entrance. Struggling between having to keep up her image and wanting people she could actually be honest with. If they saw what 'Miori' was supposedly like then there was a good chance she'd fail to forge any actually meaningful bonds. But this was a mission. Which meant there would be a report, in which Miori's behavior would be commented on. The girl gripped her scroll with her left hand, moving towards the door with a mix of fear and apprehension in her step. Everyone else was moving on, trying so hard to break off. She wasn't going to do that. Whenever any of her friends saw her, it would be as if nothing changed. She'd be their anchor and keep her web strong. As she exited her abandoned tower- Miori would allow her scroll to roll out on the sands of Sunagakure's outskirts. In a billow of smoke, Miori would mount her most recent successful creations; K.O.T.A.D.

Miori would- as she was infamous for- arrive late, possibly arriving even after the youngest squad mate. The image of the 5'09 woman approaching on the back of what at a distance would be mistaken for a giant snake would certainly be a sight to behold. The guards tensed and prepared for battle at first, before a grimace took hold on their faces. "It's Miori." One spoke as the other tensed up, both making room for her to pass. The large snake creature would not slow as it approached the monk, instead suddenly moving to the side, circling around him a couple times before finally coming to a rest as the dark haired woman called out from it's head.

"Hey cutie!~" Her voice would call out, Miori having entered the parody of her younger personality. "You out here waiting for someone?" Miori was more than aware this was her squad mate- someone who was actually her age and still at the same rank as her. But the younger Miori would have just rushed out without looking at anything. So even if it meant this person would never speak with her after this, she needed to keep up her old mentality. "If so I'd go a bit further in. The outskirts are kinda a bit dangerous."

The excitement that Hao felt was palpable. Switching between excitement and joy at the prospect of his very first mission to  excitement and dread at the thought of underperforming and getting off on the wrong foot with his new team members. This was how the whole night before the big day went for Hao. So much so that he found himself nodding off to sleep only twenty five minutes before his alarm was due to go off. "This is bad, this is bad, this is real bad. What do they do if you are late for a mission do they go without you, or worse do they wait for you. No is that worse or would it be worse for them to go without me. I don't know I feel like either way would be worse and whichever one doesn't happen would be the one that would be better. Why did I stay up all night worrying about making a good first impression". Hao was muttering to himself as he ran through the village. He was too late to see the type of mood Matamune was in and so he had to leave him which was probably for the best as the caracal was not ready for missions yet anyway. As he appeared at the meeting place clearly having rushed there is cloak skewered out of place showing his bare belly an chest underneath and his shoes  clearly on the wrong feet and unlaced, his disheveled appearance and the fact that he was going so far out of his way to not look directly at his team which was made difficult due to the fact that one was breathing super weirdly and the other was riding what appeared to be a giant snake, and both were adults, showed that Hao felt that maybe it would have been best had they gone on without him. He looked over at them and hoped beyond hoope that these two adults were not his team as they more than likely had their lives together and wouldn't want to be dragged down by a good for nothing loser like Hao. "Um sorry I think I have the wrong meeting place I was looking for the meeting place for Genin Squad 2". This was all Hao could muster as he became incredibly self conscious of his appearance when  compared to both of these adults who to him looked to be very well put together and on time.

Miori was amazed someone had shown up later than her. Must have been a genuine accident, you don't show up this late on purpose unless you're trying to be an ass. Miori would simply wave in sync with her snake puppet's tail, keeping the facade of a grown child without a care in the world. Her instinct was to answer that this was in fact team 2, but Miori had to continue with the idea she hadn't read anything except for where she was supposed to show up. "Oh riiiight, I'm on team 2 now!" The young woman's body would bend to her left as she made an exaggerated tilt with her head, the large puppet shadowing her movements. "Yup that's me. I'm assuming breathing man here is also on our team!~"

Something was missing from this, Miori could feel it. Some sort of edge she usually brought to what she did. Pondering on her usual antics, it dawned on Miori that she hadn't been interacting with her puppet enough. So the gold and white snake would be begin to circle the two, remaining low to the ground as she began to look over her teammates. The older one had a clear physique, that much was obvious. It was harder to make out details on the kid however. Chances were his area of expertise didn't involve his muscles much. This was going to be a strange squad, although as far Miori was concerned it was a bit too close to normality.

[Yasuraka Hitsukai]

While taking in his breaths Hitsukai had fallen into a light state of meditation as the other monks had taught him to do. In all honesty when he heard someone approach he did not even realize they were speaking to him initially. He had never exactly thought of himself as someone who could be described as cute, although recent events were starting to slowly chip at that perception. Add in what he heard the feminine voice saying about moving further in due to the outskirts being a bit more dangerous and he genuinely believed whoever the voice belonged to was just speaking to some civilian who had made their way out here.

It was only when another voice chimed with something of an apology for intruding and an explanation that he was looking for genin team 2 that Hitsukai finally opened his eyes and realized who it was who had spoken. While he had seen the two of them in passing, he had never really talked with them so naturally he had not recognized their voices. It was there that he finally realized Miori had been talking to him earlier and he had unintentionally ignored her. A slight frown appeared on his face accompanied by an extremely faint reddening of his skin from the embarrassment he felt. Immediately he stood and fought to bring the emotion under control while simultaneously bringing a hand up to his mouth while clearing his throat slightly.


"You're definitely at the right place. I understand your confusion though, my order needed me elsewhere so I've only recently got moved back into active duty."


His eyes glanced towards Miori, but then immediately turned back towards the younger boy. He did not have any real idea as to the why of her still being a genin. It was entirely possible that she just lacked the skill to advance, after all not everyone made it to chuunin regardless of how old they were even if chuunin was the more typical plateau for shinobi. Maybe she had started off rather late in her training or needed to take a break like he had. Regardless of the why, he at least understood that it was not his place to make assumptions nor to call out the slight oddity. For the time being this was to be his team and he preferred to make a good first impression and remain on an amicable standing at the very least.


"I guess introductions are needed. Yasuraka Hitsukai, warrior from the Monks of Bishamon. I hope we'll work well together."


His words were a bit stiff, partially from his embarrassment and in part due to the tremendous amount of air he was gradually being allowed to escape from his lungs since it seemed they would be moving out soon. While he could have kept the air in, he was not so skilled with the technique to try and use it in legitimate combat. Granted, he also doubted the extra force the technique could allow for. If the report for the mission could be believed they were simply dealing with armed civilians and the like; for such a threat it seemed entirely unnecessary. The thought of the targets though did make him begin to wonder how the other two would fare in combat though.

Within a few minutes, the young shinobi who had joined the two adults had received a summons from a messenger hawk, requiring he return to his home for some important assignment. Although he offered it to his teammates for proof, Miori didn't bother to look at it, simply shooing the small boy off. "Well looks like we'll have to do this on our own." The tan skinned woman's observation would be said in half bored tone as she looked over at her bald headed partner. Noticing the red tone that was finally beginning to fade, the young woman would begin to indulge in an old past time of hers; teasing. "I know I'm beautiful but I hope you'll be able to keep a straight face once we're near the enemy. I'd hate to think they'd start spreading rumors about us." Miori was used to rumors, as the claims of what the spider demon was truly like began to follow where ever she seemed to arrive, but the soft bullying she gave those around her gave her a bit of control in the situation. People could make her cry all they wanted, because she could make others squeal in both embarrassment and fear.

The young girl would have gone through her whole spiel about the eccentric puppeteer Tachibana Miori, but given there was still a small bit of her mind that was gnawing at her for taking a break, and so she skipped her normal introduction. Thankfully forgetting to actually say her name wasn't that strange if one did not know the pride she took in her name. The Mayonaka would begin to raise her hands as the large snake like puppet reared back. Turning towards a random direction, the large puppet would begin to move before away from the other genin, before abruptly turning back towards the Bishamon Monk. "Hey did you see where we're supposed to go? I kinda skimmed the mission briefing." Hopefully the monk would write off the fact that she was a few degrees off of where she was supposed to go as a happy coincidence, instead of Miori forgetting that her old self would not have given the mission debriefing a through read.

Before introductions could be reciprocated the group of genin were interrupted by the sudden appearance of a messenger hawk, the young boy showed the scroll off apologizing that he had been given different orders. While Miori waved the child off, Hitsukai did at least glance and skim through the scroll to see that the younger boy had indeed been called back. Given their lack of a team leader today he figured it would not hurt to make sure the boy was being truthful and had not just paid for a message to be delivered to get out of his responsibility.

Looking towards Miori upon her stating they would have to take care of the job on their own, Hitsukai gave a somewhat absentminded nod of affirmation. He was considering whether they could still handle the job on their own; he did not believe he would have any trouble with the bandits given that typical blades and the like were pretty worthless against him, but he did not know enough about Miori to know if she could handle it. He glanced her way several times trying his best to gauge whether she would be able to get through this job alright and upon the fifth or sixth glance was when she spoke again.

Immediately his tone changed to a more reddened color once again and his eyes quickly looked away from her which only made it all the worse. While there was definitely some embarrassment at her intended teasing, there was also some genuine guilt at the thought of causing Miori trouble. Hituskai had been out of the village for years and besides that it was not as if he was the type to be spending time around the younger genin and hearing any of the rumors about her, so he genuinely thought it was actually a likely a number of rumors to start by being around him. He was old enough and of a temperament that rumors did not bother him, but he did at least acknowledge the problems they could cause for others.

Placing a hand on the back of his head, partially out of embarassment and in part due to the small amount of anxiety he felt towards possibly causing her problems "I'll do my best to keep any rumors from getting started." The words were ended with a somewhat apologetic smile although she was already starting to move the large puppet when the smile happened.

Within a few moments Miori asked a question, admitting that she had only skimmed their mission briefing. Part of Hitsukai felt the desire to give a small lecture on the importance of doing things properly, but in all honesty Miori had put him too off balance emotionally for that feeling to be at the forefront. Instead he just gave a straight forward answer:


"We need to travel about a kilometer and a half to the east and there should be a little compound that they've fortified some. We're supposed to neutralize the threat, should only be armed citizenry."

Miori's devilish smirk would yet again grace her face as she could see the monk had quite the reaction to her teasing. There was a deep satisfaction in successfully manipulating the emotions of those around her, a reminder that she was not powerless. True the control she had over her situation was minuscule at best, but that piece was hers to do with as she wanted! Of course, that would be all she had time to indulge in, hoping to avoid any speeches of how they should hurry for the sake people of Kaze no Kuni. So Miori's snake would rear again as she immediately took off towards the east, one of the young woman's few talents from her old man coming in use yet again; an innate sense of direction in the Dune Seas.

Miori was certain this would be an interesting mission, as well as a return to normality for her! Finally, a good old torch and burn operation. It had been so long since the dark skinned kunoichi had participated in what was formerly Team Three's signature mission; property damage! This particular one had the added bonus of beating the every living crap out of some citizens too! Some good old fashioned justice and payback, as well as a new nostalgic return to what used to be the only mission she ever got. The world was finally calming down, everything returning to normal. Miori could just barely feel the glimmer of hope, the idea that she not only could go back to the life she missed, but that she had control over it. "Let's go bust some heads!"

Though such a journey was not uncommon for shinobi within Sunagakure, it was worthy to note that distance was always a factor when it came to travel, and finding such a compound had not been so simply to gain attention from the militia. Still, it had become such a stable within the desert that it was eventually located and prompted the operation that had called the team out to handle.

In the midst of the desert, buried partially within a carter laid their target location. It's walls high enough to give the illusion of security, but deep enough to have the ability to set up an outpost for the group. These people, considered fowl by Kaze no kuni, perhaps due to their sudden creation, were no more dangerous than bandits. Or at least, that was what the reports had stated. Though it did not warrant a complete absence of caution. While they weren't completely composed of individuals with military ties, that did not mean that none walked among them in the shadows.

With darkness having fallen upon the desert, it was clear why such a location had been difficult to find in the past. In darkness, it appeared as little more than the remains of a Sand Worm den, a burrow in which one may have laid itself to rest. During the day, it likely appeared as little more than a hazed ruin of such large impact, perhaps even scaring those who crossed it away because of its suspected origins.

Yet along the ridges of the pit, there was a clear patrol that marched. Armed individuals, dressed in garbled armor likely taken from victims or stolen during raids. With a total of ten in count from a distance, it was unclear of the numbers that awaited deeper in. Nor was it visibly able to see just how deep the carter was. But with one obstacle in view, the group would need to consider how to approach at this moment.

They could attempt to sneak in. After all, the gaps between each patrolmen was vast enough that perhaps two going down would be unnoticed or even evaded with care. Or they could be more direct, which could bring the whole place on alert and make what waited below aware of their presence.

With the faint echo of hammers and the soft cry of voices, the group was clearly doing something in the pit, but what remained the goal was to eliminate them.

[Yasuraka Hitsukai]

The journey to the target location was a rather uneventful one with Miori riding the large snake puppet and Hitsukai briskly jogging alongside. Upon reaching the crater Hitsukai lowered himself to crouch along the ridge that looked down onto the small compound, breathing deep and slow to try and lower his heart rate. Looking towards Miori he wondered if a stealthy approach was even really possible given his own bright robes and the large size of Miori's puppet.

The guards below were staggered enough that they might be able to slip inside between the patrolling groups, but even if they somehow managed to do so, it to a certain extent would be a pointless endeavor anyways given that their duty today was to neutralize all the hostiles at the compound which of course included the guards currently patrolling the exterior. Hitsukai glanced back towards the guards below as his breathing slowed and finally would speak up:

"We can try to sneak in if you want. Sounds like they're working on something inside. Could be good to see what, but the sound might also help us deal with those outside too. Either way we'll need to eventually deal with them."

Once he said his piece Hitsukai turned his gaze towards Miori as he waited for a response. He had given his suggestion, but given his only recently coming back into the shinobi lifestyle he was content to let Miori set their pace for the fight ahead. While he would not actually say so, part of him was also admittedly worried of whether Miori was up to the job at hand. While it seemed unlikely from the mission brief that any of the targets below would be able to truly harm him, he could not be sure of how much of a threat they would pose to Miori.

Sometimes missions had little wrenches thrown into them especially if one of the members needed to be called to something more important. What this was Ryouta didn't know nor did he care, but it forced him to head out on a mission already underway. He wouldn't get much time to prepare when he got the order so to say he had all his essentials when going to go on a mission was an understatement. He barely had enough time to get a disguise ready mostly consisting of just a wig tattered civilian clothes and a long cape to cover most of his body. Not enough for him personally especially with how his clan abilities worked, but hopefully the mission in question wouldn't have any incidents because of this.[break][break]

He was behind schedule, to say the least, and he didn't even know if those he would be working with would be aware he would be taking the place of their previous ally. The only thing that would help his cause for this was the fact he was given a message to hand to them to explain the details of his inclusion in the mission at hand so he at least had that. They weren't at the gates of the village when he arrived so that meant they had already undergone the start of the mission which meant he was even further behind than he thought. So Ryouta booked it as hard as he could trying to get to the destination as described in the missive he was given.[break][break]

Eventually, he would reach the crater where his mission partners would be and though he didn't recognize them, how was he supposed to since he never met them before, he held the scroll with the Suna symbol on it to show he was friendly. "Missive from the Kage," he would say quietly doing his best not to be loud in case they were in earshot of any enemies. Ryouta would hand the missive to whomever took it and would await his orders from his new team simply following the orders he was given.

An unintentional benefit of Miori's habit of riding large puppets was the intimidation it brought with it. For most animals, simply being tall was enough to deter anything but the most desperate attacks. However the giant snake that the six armed puppeteer currently was riding resembled a giant sand worm to those not close enough, all but dismissing any animal or even person's ideas of attacking the duo as they traveled. Once near the crater, the team was able to take in the encampment before them, the sounds of hammers grabbing Miori's attention. She didn't expect bandits to have any sort of raw material on them, let alone a skilled craftsman. Could they have found a gold mine?

As Hitsukai suggested sneaking into the area, Miori tilted her head in an exaggerated fashion. On one hand, she knew the mission was simple destruction. On the other, she was curious as to what the hell the bandits could be creating or mining. On her third hand, Miori was aware that there was a whole other operation that required their attack as a distraction to go off well. On her fourth, she really didn't care for a majority of her village or what happened to them. On the fifth, there was no way of knowing if one of the people she did actually care about were assigned to said mission. Staring ahead for a bit, Miori knew she had a cover to maintain, and that curious part of her brain was strangely in character for both old self and the modern one. So at this point, may as well indulge in it with a witness.

Dismounting her snake, Miori would quickly place one set of hands on the tail of the puppet as her middle set of arms performed a short series of seals. With her two free arms, Miori's chakra strings would allow the creature to mimic burrowing into the sand, only its tail remaining as she pulsed chakra into her creation. A small plume of smoke would cover the limb as a comically buried Miori's legs poked out from the sand, barely pushing herself out as the sand collapsed back in. Looking towards each other, the doubles would mostly unbutton their shirts, having hatched a plan.

Miori and her clone would both approach Hitsukai, taking measurements of the genin as the duo began causing golden dense growths on their body. occasionally the pieces would break off from their bodies, tumbling through their shirts to reveal pieces of small armor. Soon after, the duo would gather the armor in their hands, just as a new face arrived.

Looking at the stranger, the true Miori would almost snatch the scroll from him as the other stared towards the newbie with a small smirk. As the true one read over the missive, the other Miori would lean towards him, neither having fixed their shirts after equipment creation. "Hey cutie~. Kazekage sent us a prize? I hope you're not the jealous type, me and Mr. Clean hit it off pretty well earlier.” Before either could respond to the clone's teasing, the real Miori would look to Hitsukai. "Yup, that's The Old Hat's signature. Gotten enough reprimands to memorize it.”

With that, the six armed duos would pull their created equipment towards the group as they made small alterations to their outfits: the true Miori leaving her shirt open as she created a false under shirt out of spider silk, the clone allow hers to fall like a wrapping around her lower half as she created the strip of cloth along her torso from her collar bone. Both obscuring the other as they were covered in smoke, the transformation jutsu would complete their disguises.. Soon the once twinned clones were now two new women, the first was a girl with dyed red and black hair and reddish-brown eyes, staring with a muted annoyance at the others. A star tattoo on one side of her face, and a long rectangular tattoo followed the curve of her softer face. Wearing a black undershirt, grey jacket and jeans, the only standout details about this disguise- other than the metal bulbs that she had projected before she began to grow them under the disguise- were the pink goggles on her gray hat- and the three spiked piercings on her left ear.

In contrast to the more punkish and younger disguise, the cloned puppet wore a more mature illusion. A brown skinned woman would emerge, dark eyes contrasted by deep forest green markings around her eyes and a golden lower lip. Dark black hair fell down her back, stopping at the end of her lumbar region. A calm gaze and flat decorated the more mature face, the duo's personalities seemingly switched during the transformation- if either of her partners could even tell which was the original. A long black sheath dress with a wide opening over the chest was the base around which the equally layered but more decorated design of this illusion was built. A thin golden belt with a blue gem in the center sat on her hips, a three-layered golden usekh with a line of pale orange in the middle covering her shoulders, and a double-layer armband with a line of black and a line of gold calling attention to her forearms. The last item of import was a thin black circlet with a large black dot in the center, decorating her forehead.

The ‘younger’ Miori would step forward, hands in her pockets as she explained the plan she had decided they were doing- without much discussion among the group. "Alright newbie; put those on. We are going to do our best to pretend we’ve been here the whole time. Be as normal as you can be- and for the sake of our own survival drop any sense of importance you may have. We’re moocs in this scenario- forgettable but still specific enough to not be an obvious generic disguise.” Leaning forward a bit as she hunched, half to get into the character she had designed and half to accentuate her point. "If you try and look too forgettable, everyone will notice. But if you add just enough details where it looks like you’re oversharing, everyone will think your hearts on your sleeve. Just do enough to make it feel like you’re a person and not some guy in a suit” With that Miori would point towards her transformed clone. "Other me and cue ball are going to approach the bandits a bit less subtly, posing as some nameless big name’s lackey and her guard trying to get a meeting with the boss. If she fails, they panic and don’t question where the two new guys fighting the clear ninja attack came from. If she succeeds, we have someone heading straight for the problem, while we can set up some surprises.” Looking towards the two, both ‘Mioris’ began to move in, motioning for the others to follow.

As soon as Miori and her copied selves began to undo their shirts, Hitsukai found himself turning away. It would definitely have been a lie to say that some part of him wished to look back and catch sight of anything he could, but the more rational part of him was thankfully in control. Thankfully his turning away helped in him not being surprised by the sudden appearance of someone new, someone who quickly showed the symbol for Sunagakure and whispered it being a missive from the Kazekage.

Before Hitsukai could respond however one of the Miori's reached out and grabbed hold of the missive. This particular Miori read over the paper and turned her head to look back towards Hitsukai confirming the authenticity of the message. At this look back Hitsukai found himself turning once more towards a direction where there were no Miori's in his immediate sight. "A replacement for the previous boy I take it?" Hitsukai's words were posed as a question, but it was mostly a rhetorical one said more so to keep his mind on the mission and not the three versions of Miori around him all with undone shirts and the later comment of how well they had hit it off earlier. Hitsukai felt it was obviously just something being done to tease him, but knowing such a thing did not make him squirm any less.

Happy for something else to put his mind towards, Hitsukai happily began to try and attach the fake armor bits to his body. He was forced to remove the top most layer of his robes to make sure there was enough room meaning there was only a thin white robe between the silken armor bits and the heavy steel plates of the weights he wore. All in all he probably looked a bit odd as if a man wearing armor made for someone else, but such an image was likely more fitting for the situation than if he wore proper armor.

Admittedly the plan did not exactly rest well with Hitsukai, when he had suggested the potential to sneak in he had imagined scaling over the compound's walls or some such; he had not imagined the plan would be to lie their way past those guarding the area. While he did not think he would be breaking Bishamon's laws if he simply followed and allowed Miori to do the talking, a part of him was uncertain if it would actually count as using trickery and illusions. He himself was not using illusions even if Miori was and so long as he did not speak he would not be tricking anyone. In the end all he could do was hope he was correct in his beliefs and if the guards directly questioned him then he would need to break any attempt at trickery and just apologize to Miori later.

With their plan in motion, the group would seem to be on the move upon approaching the pit lair. Despite what might have been apparent from the surface, what laid within was still a mystery. Of course, the focus for the moment was getting past the ten man patrol. Which, by all accounts, should pose the most difficulty if their cover was seen through. Only time would tell if the gamble would pay off. Yet, that was all up to the actions of the three man ninja team.

As they drew closer, a clear howling in the wind as the chilled air breezed through the desert, the group would hear a voice calling out to them, prompting a figure to begin to move forward. With clear intent in their gaze, they'd hold up what looked to be a small lantern, allowing for some ray of light as they began to speak.

"Hold it! Who goes there!?"

The tone was gruff, but the figure themselves were hardly more than six feet tall. Their demeanor was similar to those of their band, who seemed to be approaching from the rear.

"Ain't taken another step!"

With their focus being on the approach of Hitsukai and Miori's double, it seemed as though the Ryouta and the real Miori were able to possibly make their move to infiltrate. But, there was the risk of still being spotted by the nine that were still in approach, especially if they were attempting to gain access. They were distant enough to see any sense of movement, but with the darkness being against them, it could still be a challenge to make them out among any of the other guard that were roaming about.

Ryouta would remain undisturbed by the flirtatious nature of one of the girls who spoke to him. Taking a rather stoic approach to how he did things this time especially since it was a mission after all. Normally he would play along, but this was a mission that he was crashing so he needed to be ready for anything and that even meant the possibility that this was a mental hazing against him. Yet at the same time, he just couldn't help himself from having fun either. So he would smile towards the flirtatious one and say, "That's alright I'm willing to share so long as you are willing to be our spit roast." Ryouta would give the girl a wink before turning his attention to the rest of the group.[break][break]

The bald man seemed a bit perturbed by the girls undressing as he kept his view away from them which caused one of Ryouta's eyebrows to raise in confusion. Was he embarrassed to see something like this? Oh, how fun. He must be shy. So getting close to the other male he would give him a slight jab on the side and ask, "Nervous around such a pretty gal? Don't be shy you are quite tall and she seems instead in you why not shoot your shot?" Ryouta didn't know either of the teammate's preferences nor did he care if it would work or not, but any time to have a little fun messing with his new team was good for him. He enjoyed teasing or egging people on after all people had interesting reactions to some gentle prodding.[break][break]

Miori would, after some time, explain the plan they would be undergoing and Ryouta would take note that he would be falling back along with her. The plan was simple, to say the least, and honestly in his mind not the most thought of, but it would do. Besides if needed he could make use of some of his own personal talents to get them further into the location if push comes to shove he would just need to be able to get his hands on someone from the inside for a bit of time to get the information. Also if a fight ended up happening then he wouldn't have to worry about too much since he was able to handle his own in combat. So he would simply follow the real Miori and let her take the lead for this mission.
