Another day or rotation where Kyoko would find herself with some free time to explore or train. While normally she would train on her days off she did that on her last day off and if she didn't take a least one day off she would burn herself out. She may be one to work hard, but she knew the value of taking a small break to recoup and recollect oneself. So today was that day for her and she would simply take a small stroll on memory lane. The destination in question would be the academy.[break][break]

It felt like it was just yesterday she had graduated from the academy and was making a name for herself as a Kiri shinobi. In fact, in retrospect, it only had been a couple of years give or take and she was now a bodyguard for the Mizukage and even a seat of the seven swordsmen. How lucky could she have been? Plus she got to spend most of her days with her brother Daichi so honestly Kyoko was very happy with how her life was going, but she couldn't help and wonder how her life would have differed if she stayed on the farm with her father. She found herself imagining how far apart she and Daichi would drift away from each other had she not followed him into the academy she almost missed seeing someone in the training yard. A blue-haired youth who for some reason reminded Kyoko of Daichi. He looked nothing like him, but there was this aura from him that made her feel was similar to her brother. She had no basis for this claim obviously, but she couldn't help and feel this was some sort of gut feeling she had. So she couldn't help and approach the youth and say, "Hello there."

What did Dansui do in his free time? Train of course! He was a little sad that Tota was busy today, but he'd be okay. He was mostly trying to get his strength improved. He went straight to the training yard after classes had finished. He instantly went to a training dummy, throwing some punches at it, roughly twenty before going into doing some pushups. He wondered what his brother, Hatohara, was doing today. He hadn't seen his sibling as much recently in comparison to usual. They still slept in the same room, but he'd seemed to be distant, allowing the boy to grow into his own.

Eventually, he saw a girl who looked rather familiar, though he wasn't sure why. If she was an adult, she was pretty short. If she was a student, she was freakishly tall. "Um... hi?" The boy would respond. "Do I know you?" He hadn't seen her around the academy, but maybe she was a new student or something. Her crimson eyes seemed to gloss over him, sizing him up as if wondering what such a small child could possibly do. Normally, he'd introduce himself rather quickly, but Hato wasn't around to look after him, so he was more cautious.

"Probably not," Kyoko would answer the boy honestly. The likelihood of this boy having been in the academy with her was very small so she expected he didn't and even if he did see her while with the Mizukage it was likely she wasn't noticed. Taking a good glance at the kid she could tell he was on guard and she couldn't blame him. "Don't you worry I'm not here to harm you or anything just reminiscing on my academy days," Kyoko would say trying to ease his worries. Looking back at the academy she would also add, "feels like just yesterday I graduated from this place." This was kind of true since she only graduated about three years ago, but even then that was three years that flew by in a flash.[break][break]

Turning her attention back to the boy she would smirk and decide she would make the best of her time by helping the child out. "Tell you what I'm feeling a bit energetic today," she would say as she took off the cloak she wore to hide most of her weapons. Giving the boy a smile she would ask, "Is there anything you working on that maybe I could help you learn?" This might have been a bit pushy of her to ask especially since the child was a stranger to her and vice versa, but the idea of helping someone learn something new put a smile on her face.
