[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]He had got somewhat of a grasp of chakra control thanks to Junichi and he even learned how to meditate so that was a bonus, but it was still difficult without instruction. Shiori would find his mind wandering too much during meditation to be his only training method so he would in his own free time try one of the other ways he learned from Junichi. That was to exhaust his chakra while trying to figure out the bare minimum chakra he needed to use while casting a jutsu.

Since he was only an academy student his arsenal of jutsu was very limited to the jutsu he had already learned, but he had one he felt would be the easiest way to achieve this. This was the cloning technique. Sure Transformation could work and so could substitution, but one required being hit by another, and the other required him to go back and forth while transforming so just spitting out clones seemed like the most efficient way of doing this.

So finding himself in the training yard he would do just that. Concentrating on the feeling Junichi told him about Shiori would try and focus on his clones and how to minimize the amount of chakra needed to make a clone. First, he would make a single clone which would then run off before disappearing and then he would make two. Trying to get a feel for how different the chakra was between making one clone and making two. He could tell there was a difference, but it was subtle to him.

As Uka stepped out of her classes, she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and excitement. It had been a long day of training, and now she could finally head home and relax. Carrying her training gear in a bag slung over her shoulder, Uka strolled through the familiar training grounds. It was a vast area, bustling with students of all ages honing their skills in various ninja arts. As she made her way through the lively atmosphere, her sharp eyes caught sight of a familiar figure - the unmistakable blue-haired head of Shiori. Curiosity piqued, Uka's steps slowed, and she discreetly leaned against a training post to observe what he was doing.

To her amazement, Shiori was practicing the Bunshin no Jutsu, the very technique Uka had been struggling with. Her heart skipped a beat. It was a serendipitous moment, as she realized this was the perfect opportunity to seek guidance from someone who had mastered the technique.

With renewed confidence, she approached Shiori, as she approached Shiori, Uka noticed his intense focus on creating and dispelling his clones, a mixture of excitement and nerves bubbling inside her. "Hey, Shiori!" she called out cheerfully. "You seem to have the Bunshin no Jutsu down perfectly! I've got a test coming up soon, and I still can't get the hang of it. Could you, um, maybe teach it to me?"

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]Each new clone made was another step closer to figuring out how to control his chakra and be even more precise in his actions, but at the same time, it was draining to the youth. Is this the lengths shinobi had to train to fully get an understanding of how things worked? Sure it held a similar stance to his physical training to a degree yet it didn't feel the same to him so he didn't take as much joy in doing it as if he was to say going for a run.

He wouldn't have to fully focus on his training though when his attention was taken from himself to another. Uka, a girl who helped him out before, seemed to want to learn how to do the cloning technique herself. This was quite fortunate for Shiori as it meant he could both teach someone how to do it and go over the basics in his mind which in turn might help him get the chakra control even more accurate. Despite the sweat dripping from his brow, he would say with enthusiasm, "Sure!"

Though how was he supposed to teach? He had never done this before. Taking the obvious route he figured he would do a step-by-step demonstration to see if that might work for her own training needs. "Well for starters we should identify the type of hand seals needed to complete the jutsu," Shiroi would raise his hands and in a slow manner show each one in succession. "Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog," Shiroi would say one by one and showing each hand seal to Uka before continuing, "These are which are used to prepare cloning jutsu and by focusing your chakra into your whole body consistently you should be able to create a clone that will resemble yourself. "

A single clone would appear by Shiori and he would also add, "Having a good mental image of yourself helps improve the accuracy of the clone's appearance otherwise anyone would be able to tell who was the clone and which was the real shinobi, but that being said they still have their weaknesses." The clone would jump into the air and Shiori would point to the ground below it, "as you can see the clone doesn't leave any shadows and it won't affect the environment around it so if someone is observant enough they won't fall for the trick." As the clone landed it would disappear in a poof of smoke leaving nothing behind in its wake. Shiori would turn to Uka and ask, "any questions?"

"Wow, Shiori! You're like a real teacher!" Uka exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement as she watched Shiori perform the hand seals. She tried her best to mimic his movements, her small fingers forming the shapes in the air. "Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog! Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog!" she chanted as she practiced the seals, her enthusiasm radiating like a bright sunbeam.

Listening intently, Uka nodded along as Shiori explained the importance of a good mental image. "So, if I imagine myself really well, the clone will look just like me? That's super cool! I'm going to make sure my clone has my signature pigtails!" She giggled, her pigtails bouncing as she spoke.

When Shiori's clone appeared and demonstrated the lack of a shadow, she clapped her hands in delight, and Uka's eyes sparkled with understanding. "I get it! The clone won't have a shadow, and it won't mess up the ground or anything around it. But even if it's super sneaky, people who pay attention will know it's a clone!" She nodded confidently as if she had just cracked a ninja code.

Uka then hopped on her feet, her energy overflowing. "I'm ready to give it a try, Shiori! Watch me, watch me!" With determination, she focused her chakra just like Shiori said, and she performed the hand seals with all the grace her 11-year-old self could muster. "Tiger, Boar, Ox, and Dog!" she declared, a puff of smoke enveloping her. As the smoke cleared, a lanky and somewhat weird-looking clone stood before her, its proportions slightly off and its limbs appearing a bit wobbly.

Uka's face shifted from excitement to bewilderment as she looked at her rather unusual clone. "Um, Shiori, is it supposed to look like this?" she asked, scratching her head in confusion. Her clone stood there, arms and legs dangling in an awkward fashion. "Oops, I guess I need to work on my mental image more, huh?" She let out an awkward laugh, trying to brush off her disappointment. "Well, at least it's a start, right? I'll just have to practice more and get it right!" Despite the unexpected outcome, Uka's cheerful spirit remained undaunted, ready to give the Bunshin no Jutsu another shot.

He needed to figure out this control especially if he was going to be any use on the battlefield when he was older, but there was so much work to be done especially if he was going to also be teaching someone too. Still, he was determined to get this done right so who cares if it exhausted him at the very least he should be able to have a good grasp of chakra control if he kept working on it.

It wouldn't be long though before Uka would want to attempt the jutsu herself and honestly Shiori was excited to see how she would do especially with how enthusiastic she was. "You got this," Shiori would cheer her on as she recited the hand seals to do the jutsu right back to him. Though the clone that was created was far from perfect, it was a clone and that was a start. Even Uka said just as much and Shiori couldn't help but be in awe at her upbeat attitude to messing up on her first attempt. "Yeah!" Shiori would say in response to her comments about trying again, "No one ever gets a jutsu right on the first attempt anyways so the fact you were able to even make a clone that had some resemblance to you is a good place to start!" Shiori gave Uka a big grin and thumbs up as he attempted another clone, but this one was a bit harder to do as he found himself running low on his chakra and falling to the ground for a second.

Taking a small break he would say, "Another way to get your mental image down correctly is to try it in a mirror. Being able to see your reflection may be a great way to visualize your appearance before not needing the visual guide for making clones." Shiori would get back up and ask, "Do you want me to go find you a mirror to try that out?" This was Shiori's way of coming up with an excuse to stop a take a breather from his training while Uka practiced more on her clones.

With their plan in motion, Shiori would go off in search of a suitable mirror, leaving Uka to continue practicing. Undeterred by the previous less-than-perfect results, she was determined to make progress. Uka took a deep breath, focusing her chakra once again as she performed the hand seals with all the concentration an 11-year-old could muster. She imagined it flowing through her body like a river, gathering at her fingertips as she molded it into the shape of the clone.

Despite her best efforts, however, the results were far from perfect. Each time she created a clone, it appeared lanky and disproportionate. Its limbs seemed to twist and elongate in odd ways, making it resemble a surreal, abstract version of herself. Her clone's face was a bit distorted, with eyes that were too wide apart, and her pigtails looked more like wild tendrils of hair that defied gravity.

Uka furrowed her brows in frustration as she observed her oddly shaped clone. She was meticulous in her attempts, trying to visualize herself down to the tiniest detail.

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]Now the real question came into play. Where was he to find a full-length mirror? Shiori didn't think that through when he suggested Uka, but she agreed to it so he had to find it and provide it as requested. "It might be a bit so practice while I'm gone," Shiori would warn her just in case it took him forever to bring a mirror to practice with before heading off first into the academy to see if maybe there was one there.

After some searching he came up with no luck from the academy front so he started looking around the stores nearby or asking people if they had a mirror he could borrow to help out a classmate. Most people didn't help him much, but when he reached the Susano compound he was able to convince a cousin of his who had one to let him borrow one. In exchange, he would have to do some of their chores for like a week, but hey at least he got the mirror. So tying it to his back, after wrapping it up so it wouldn't shatter on the trip back, he began rushing his way back to Uka.

He would show up panting as he began to profusely apologize for taking so long. Out of breath he would unwrap the full mirror and place it in front of Uka before saying, "Now with this, you should be able to get an idea of what you look like!" He took a few deep breaths before he continued his training by creating the clones for his chakra training. He would still talk as a way to help them both out, "I remember someone once saying that we see ourselves as different than what we look like due to perceptions and self-image issues." A clone would appear next to Shiori and the two would mirror each other and follow each other's movements as he spoke, "This can lead us to have issues with making clones as we see our flaws and blow them up in our eye. While it might not be helpful sometimes embracing these flaws is a way to get your clone just right."

The clone would disperse and Shiori would continue, "Sure we always want to change how we look to some degree, but embracing what we look like and making the most of it can help us in the long run right?" Shiori would give Uka a goofy smile after his little speech because honestly despite saying these words it was mostly parroted advice and scripture. He didn't understand most of what he said especially since mental fortitudes weren't his forte, but he at least memorized the advice he was given and wanted to help Uka out by relaying the information to her he once got.

Uka smiled appreciatively as Shiori presented the full-length mirror, her eyes lighting up with anticipation. "No worries, Shiori! Thanks a bunch for going through all that trouble to get this. I'm really excited to see if it makes a difference," she replied, her enthusiasm undiminished by the wait.

Positioning the mirror in front of her, Uka took a moment to gaze at her reflection, absorbing the details of her appearance. She couldn't help but agree with Shiori's earlier words about self-perception and flaws. Embracing those imperfections seemed like a novel approach to her cloning technique.

As Shiori demonstrated by creating his own clones, Uka followed suit, combining her hand seals with the visualization of her improved self-image. With the mirror as a guide, she adjusted her technique, trying to capture the essence of her reflection in each clone.

With a burst of chakra, a new clone materialized, and Uka eagerly studied it alongside her reflection. There was a noticeable improvement – the limbs were more proportionate, the face - less distorted, and the pigtails fell more gracefully. It wasn't perfect yet, but it was a step in the right direction.

Uka grinned at her reflection and then turned to Shiori. "Hey, I think that advice worked! Look at this!" She gestured towards her improved clone, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Thanks for the mirror and the wisdom, Shiori. Teamwork really does make the dream work, doesn't it?"

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]Shiori couldn't help but smile at Uka's enthusiasm and gratitude for getting her a mirror. It was always nice helping out others and made him feel all warm and tingly inside. It made him feel appreciative of what the teachers at the academy do for them on a near-daily basis and wondered if this feeling was a constant for them. If it was he could see himself enjoying this feeling himself and wouldn't mind teaching others more often when he got older, but for now, he needed to perfect his training before he could even think about the future.

As Uka would examine herself in the mirror Shiori would of course continue his clone creation to try and get the chakra usage under control and while he was getting better as each attempt felt like less and less chakra was being wasted he was getting so tired. Beads of sweat were visible on his brow and his arms slightly becoming more and more sluggish from the signing that one could tell he was wearing thin. Still, he wasn't going to give up especially since he was helping Uka out too. She was even making progress as her clones were getting better and better! "That's wonderful!" Shiori would say though panted breath as his energy was beginning to fade fast. "You will get this done in no time," Shiori would add as he stopped for a quick second to take a breather and wipe the sweat off his brow. "A few more tries and I think you will get this down perfectly," Shiori would say in encouragement as he doubled back down on his own focusing very hard on using the remainder of his chakra to make the most of his clones.

Uka felt a surge of determination as Shiori encouraged her. His words fueled her motivation, and with newfound energy, she took a deep breath and nodded. "You're right, Shiori! I've got this!" she exclaimed, ready to give it another shot.

Focusing her chakra and visualizing her ideal self in the mirror, Uka performed the hand seals with precision. The process felt more natural now, and as the chakra dispersed, another clone materialized beside her. This time, she could see a marked improvement – the features were more refined, and the posture exuded a confidence that mirrored her own.

Excitement bubbled within Uka as she looked at her enhanced clone. "Yes! Shiori, did you see that? It's getting better!" She grinned, eager to share her progress with her supportive teammate. "I'll keep going until I get it just right. Thanks for the encouragement!" With renewed determination, Uka continued to create more clones, each one showing incremental improvements.

She continued this, every clone getting more and more perfect until her chakra reserves were noticeably depleted, "Ugh, I think this is it for me, I feel like I am almost at the end of my chakra reserves" she said as a bead of sweat ran along her facial futures.

[attr=class,opunkibulkrule]It was difficult to concentrate anymore on Uka and her progression with how much the fatigue was setting in. Shiori was losing his senses as his chakra was being depleted with every clone he made, but he could tell a difference from when he first started. Each clone he made felt like he was getting closer and closer to minimizing the amount of chakra needed and in turn wasted as he made his clones. "You've got this," he would say in encouragement for Uka despite not being able to fully see much of what she was doing. She had practically become a blob of color in his vision with how blurred she was and with the amount of sweat dripping from his brow he kept having to close his eyes to avoid it dripping in his eyes.

Eventually, it would be too much for him and his final clone would do him in. The output was perfect though so that was good, but he couldn't stand anymore as he fell to the ground collapsing in exhaustion. Breathing heavily he tilted his head in a way so he could watch Uka finish her training. Despite his fatigue though he was able to give the other academy student a big toothy grin and say, "Proud of you. Now let's both rest before we both die of exhaustion." Not that Shiori wasn't already at this point, but at least he had accomplished his goal from this training. It wasn't perfect, but it was a giant step to gaining full control over his chakra. After a few minutes of catching his breath, he would ask Uka, "Wanna get some ice cream for our successful training exercises?" He figured it would be a nice treat after working so hard and the idea of putting something cold into his body just sounded delightful.

When Shiori suggested getting ice cream to celebrate their success, Uka's eyes lit up. "Absolutely! Ice cream sounds like the perfect reward for all our hard work. I could go for something sweet and cold right now," she agreed enthusiastically. Despite the weariness in her limbs, the prospect of indulging in a treat with her teammate was too enticing to resist.

Uka couldn't help but be grateful for the shared determination and encouragement that had driven their training session as they gathered their belongings and made their way to the ice cream shop. Knowing she had a teammate like Shiori by her side made the prospect of upcoming obstacles seem a little less daunting.
