The three remaining "law enforcement" pirates did not have much time to rally themselves before they found themselves in the thick of it again. The "leader" had noticed that Seika had managed to dodge his attack, and was closing in with immense speed, even as she formed handseals of her own with a speed which could only be gained from long periods of practice, as well as a proclivity for the ninja arts that wasn't found in the rank and file fighters out there. It was clear, from the movements of the other two, that they were much less skilled than he was.

As Seika's flame was released from her mouth screams of pain and terror filled the air, as the two pirates were blanketed in white flames, their death sure and inexorable, as they were literally burned into crisps. The "leader", however, seemed to have a bit of a thinking head on his shoulders as well, as he used the advantage of Seika's proximity to avoid the certain death that had engulfed his colleagues by performing a Body Flicker to reappear above and behind Seika. Hopefully, since he was in her blind spot, it would be easier to take her by surprise.

Even as he appeared, the man was already performing some handseals, which resulted in a host of needles coalescing from the moisture in the air, around the rampaging woman. Swiftly, they flew towards their intended target, seeking to stab many holes in the gleeful nukenin.

While the needles do surround a target from all sides, they don't appear above the target, creating an escape route.

If there was one thing Seika loved in this world beyond herself, it was the sound of men burning. There was a musical quality to it, a kind of staccato burst of raw agony mixed with the dying rattle of their last breath that was beautiful to her ears. Her lips parted in a wild smile as the two men died, her white flames devouring their flesh as she whirled, knowing by experience the third man, the one whose voice she knew and who hadn’t been caught by her jutsu, would attack from behind. There was no time for her to form a hand seal, so the Nakajima poured chakra into her heels again and burst upwards in a Baku Sanpo, cutting her first jutsu off in order to better facilitate escape.

A thousand water needles criss-crossed through the air where she had stood not a moment before, but the Nuke-nin didn’t care, her mouth opening as she let loose a laugh of pure, unfiltered joy. Yes, this was what she’d been missing these last few years- a challenge. Whoever this man was, he had trained, had fought and bled for his skill. He was someone worth fighting. Worth killing, and killing spectacularly at that. Or he would have been, had she not come here for something less fun but far, far more important.

Seika landed atop a nearby roof, the building’s lower floor engulfed in the flames of her previous jutsu, and she took a moment to summon forth another kunai from her left sleeve, twirling it around her index finger as she spoke to the man, knowing he’d have the information she needed. "Oh, you’re good. I’d love to play with you more sweetie, but I've got a ship I need to catch. I assume you know the Imperator? Big metal monstrosity, looks like it came from Yukigakure?"

It was possible the pirates who had stolen it had renamed the thing, but she would be damned if she knew or cared what it was. So long as the man knew something, however, she might cut him some slack- a quick death, relatively painless. Maybe.

By focusing fire of their flame body down into a single point (usually the soles of their feet, though it can be any limb), the user of this technique is able to concentrate the energy of their fire greatly, then release it in a burst of raw fire that shoots them in an intended direction at high speed.

Seika, either through a twist of fate or simply good genetics, has inherited the coveted power of the White Flame, the highest ranked color of Flame within the Nakajima clan, and it shows. Fire is not merely a part of her- she is fire, a living embodiment of all it means to be flame, and as such her ability with her clan’s Hijutsu is second to none; she can switch between her flame body and real one with near instantaneous ease (though this does not low the chakra cost), and can stay in it for quite awhile. While in her flame body, she is completely impervious to all forms of physical damage, though Chakra enhanced attacks (particularly Fuuton based) can still injure her. In this state, she is able to heal herself using any natural fire nearby, absorbing it into her flame body.

Yuki’s Fire-Flower [Enhanced Katon Ninjutsu SA - Power]
From nearly the moment she could walk, Seika has had an affinity with Katon that far surpasses the norm, even for a Nakajima. Her Katon Ninjutsu, and in particular her Nakajima Hijutsu, burn hotter than even the most powerful of her clan, granting her Katon-based Ninjutsu a significant boost in raw power over others of her rank, so much so that she is nearly on another level of power. Additionally, Seika can switch between the four different flames of her Clan’s Hijutsu almost at will, but rarely does so, preferring to use her White Flames almost exclusively. Katon Ninjutsu (including Nakajima Hijutsu) used by Seika are roughly 25% more powerful than normal, and cost 10% more to use.

The Burning Death [Enhanced Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
As one of only two people in all the world to possess the White Flame of the Nakajima, Seika’s flames are… unique, to say the least. Though others of her clan do not believe it, the truth of the matter is that Seika’s flames are not merely hot, they are beyond anything her clan has ever seen, capable of burning even setting other chakra-based creations aflame, up to and including other Katon Ninjutsu, eventually subsuming them into itself. This does not allow Seika to absorb any form of chakra, nor does it allow her to work around using only normal fire to heal her body when in her Flame Body form- rather, it allows her to burn Ninjutsu as if it were a physical thing, eating away at it until it becomes nothing but ash. This takes two rotations per rank of the Jutsu, and requires that said jutsu be continuously engulfed in her flames.

Seika’s Chakra reserves are vast for a woman of her rank, far beyond those of a normal Kunoichi, and as such she is able to use high-level techniques for far longer, and at a much quicker rate, than most anyone of her rank could.

A sleek red silk dress made for Seika before she deserted from Yukigakure, the dress itself is stunning, sporting long-sleeves that hang loosely from her shoulders. Made of Waruichi silk, the dress has been enhanced by the Nakajima clan’s tailors and even has seals put in place by Seika herself, making it a very useful tool for carrying goods even when she doesn’t wear her cloak.

The dress itself has a short hem that stops just above the middle of her thighs, with a long train of narrow cloth on the left side that leaves most of her legs exposed. The dress is tight around her bust and hangs off her shoulders, showing off much of her cleavage. The edges are decorated by golden filigree work, particularly around the bodice, it is hemmed by black lacework, and sports a hidden pouch inside the bodice.

Owari Nenshou [Katon Reactive]
Seika’s dress, having been made by the Nakajima, is fully Katon-reactive and allows her to funnel Katon Ninjutsu through it without burning it to ashes. More specifically, Seika has practiced with it to such a degree that she can utilize Haini: Hidama (Cremation: Falling Star) without being in her Flame body.

Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal [Chakra Reactive]
After her desertion for Yukigakure, Seika altered her dress in order to better utilize it in combat, inking in permanent seals along the inside of the left and right sleeves. These seals can hold a surprising amount, and are easily accessible for most any situation.

A hooded cloak of black silk that reaches down to the feet, obscuring the user's form. The cloak itself seems fairly ordinary, but actually has two pockets sewn into the inside, both of which hold permanent versions of the Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal, allowing her to carry much more than normal.

Made of a special chakra reactive silk, Seika’s cloak offers a unique ability that few Shinobi see coming; by channeling her raw, unfiltered Chakra through the cloak, Seika is able to utilize the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique] through the cloth, as well as allowing her maintain it with greater ease during movement. This ensures that Seika will always be able to vanish should the need arise.

Limitless Pockets
Seika’s Cloak, much like her dress, has been altered during her time as a Missing-nin to include the Generic Storage Seal inside its pockets, allowing her to carry a great deal more in the way of ninja tools without having to ruin her look with bulky pouches or garish belts.

A pair of black, seemingly normal heels. These shoes, however, are actually made of a special material created by the Nakajima that allows the user to make them a part of the Flame-body without destroying them. They add 3” to Seika’s height.

Using flames from her feet again, Seika leaped upwards, her fire-enhanced jump allowing her to evade the needles which would have otherwise skewered her from various angles. The pirate landed where Seika had stood only moments before, taking care to avoid the flames that still burned on the ground from where the nukenin had launched herself. Emotionless eyes rose to stare at her on her perch atop the burning house. As she asked her question, the emotionless expression shifted slightly; there seemed to be a slight touch of disgust, but then the expression was gone, replaced by the deadpan face.

"If you came here to ask questions about this ship of interest, why go about killing people for no apparent reason and destroying property? That's what I hate about you hunter ninja from villages: absolutely no regard for life. I'm sure you're one of them Yukigakure pirate hunters." There was a pause, and the look of annoyance crossed his face again. "In any case, I have no motivation whatsoever to give you an answer to your question, Yuki-nin. If I tell you, and I am too weak for you, you will kill me. If I don't tell you, and I'm too weak, you'll still kill me. And if I'm stronger than you, I will kill you. So, either way, it doesn't matter."

Yes, he was assuming she was still affiliated with Yukigakure. Why else would someone come to a town run by pirates and begin killing people, if not for Yuki pirate hunting stuff?

Oh, this was rich. Seika couldn’t help herself; when the man spoke his silly, obviously incorrect assumptions, she laughed. It wasn’t a long laugh, but it was loud, full of all the scorn and maddening hilarity that could only come from holding all the right cards against someone who thought they couldn’t possibly lose.

"Oh my sad, silly child. You’ve no idea who you’re dealing with, do you?” The Nakajima said, still twirling her kunai as she spoke. The fires around them continued to burn, but she didn’t have quite enough to do what she wanted just yet; they needed to spread a little further. "I’m no Yuki-nin. Not anymore, anyway. You see, I left my disgustingly dull village on that ship a few years ago, and I want it back from the filthy little thief who dared to steal it from me. But if you insist on dying…”

Seika stared down at the man, feeling the fires around her slowly build as she stopped twirling her kunai and blew through the hand seals needed for one of the few Genjutsu she knew- Kichi Kurui, a genjutsu the swapped the world of those caught in it, making every action happen in reverse. She finished the jutsu, still smiling, and tossed her kunai at the man, activating the seal attached just before it would make impact, the explosion ripping through the surrounding buildings and road in a ball of flame and dirt that had the Nuke-nin smiling again.

DESCRIPTION: The user performs a couple handseals for this genjutsu to activate it. Perception Deviation is quite the tricky ability and it can be the source of many laughs. It is not an offensive ability, indubitably, and it is rather used as a mean to make the enemy's fighting skills drop to a measly zero. This genjutsu is used to shift all of the foe's perceptions to their polar opposite. For example, an opponent trying to go forward would instead go backwards – moving their right hand up would make their left hand move down. In the end, all motions become very difficult to accomplish, and it takes an awful lot of time for anyone under the spell to achieve a simple task. This is because to them the world is an opposite. Everything else is different to them and makes them go the opposite direction. It is very hard to detect in a foreign land, however the shinobi might realize it is a genjutsu if he is somewhere familiar - noting the perhaps weirdness and opposing sides of everything.

The pirate enforcer stared almost impassively at Seika as she laughed at him. Did it matter whether she was a former Yuki ninja or not? She had simply behaved just like the scum she had claimed to leave years ago, barging in and killing people for no evident reason. As Seika stopped twirling her kunai, the pirate prepared himself, starting a bunch of handseals on his own as soon as the nukenin accused him of being so eager to die. Unfortunately for him, it was not he who finished his string of handseals first.

A look of shock crossed his face, as his movements suddenly became absolutely confused. The attempt to move a limb saw another moving in the opposite direction. Even though he saw the kunai, he was unable to do anything to stop it as it sailed unerringly towards its target. He could not even engage the right seals with which to dispel what he had correctly assumed to be a genjutsu.

There was no scream as the kunai exploded, or if there was, the loud roar of detonation would have made it impossible to hear. As the smoke, dust and debris settled, with the place slowly becoming an inferno, Seika would see the unmoving corpse of the last of the pirate enforcers, lying in a charred heap. There was now nothing living in the area... except for a few seagulls which shrieked as they circled overhead.

Seika watched the explosion engulf the last remaining enforcer with a smile, her amber-gold eyes lit by the burning flames around her. The only sounds she could hear in this part of the town were the cawing of seagulls and the slow, steady burning of wood, stone, and flesh- which suited her just fine. Turning away from the dead men, the Nakajima leapt to another rooftop, forming a single hand seal to transform into the dead man before following the rough road down to the docks by leaping from building to building until she drew close. It wasn’t a perfect solution to her current issue, but perhaps the disguise would be enough to get her the information she needed.

Landing in a small alley, the now-transformed Nakajima walked down the street, looking for a civilian to interrogate, doing her best to match the deadpan glower of the former leader. She soon found one amidst the panicked throng that had been stirred up by her attacks, a tallish man who had the salt-worn look of a sailor and the eyepatch of one who spent too much time reading about pirates rather than being one.

Seika moved through the throng to him, raising her voice in the best deadpan she could manage as she said, "You, with the eyepatch. Come with me.”

As expected, the areas around the docks were in a buzz, with everyone preparing themselves for an attack of some kind or the other. Most people ignored the disguised Nakajima, instead focusing on themselves and how they could attempt to protect their ships and goods from a possible Yukigakure pirate hunting raid. All the while, the seagulls cried overhead, wheeling about and being ignored by everyone else as well.

As the disguised Nakajima found a sailor to interrogate, the chosen man did not seem too willing to go along, although it seemed that he recognized the dress of the one who had ordered him to follow, and surmised that there would be bigger trouble for him as an individual if he did not come along. So the sailor stared at the deadpan fellow, then at two of his colleagues who were beside him. One of them, a short, burly fellow, who looked quite a lot like was to be expected of a grizzled pirate, complete with shaggy beard and missing teeth, patted the eyepatch fellow on the back. "Y'aint done nothing now, have ya, kid? He be one of 'em port security folk. Pro'lly wants t'ask ye a few questions or summin. But once ye be done, come back here pronto! Seems like we be dealing with a real bloodthirsty one, aye."

The man gulped, nodded, and obediently came after the disguised Nakajima.

Finally. Some damn compliance. Seika thought, suppressing a grin as the man reluctantly obeyed her command with a few choice words from a fellow sailor, who looked quite a bit more like a grizzled pirate should (and, therefore, was far less likely to be intimidated by her disguise). She kept her face smooth though, and led the man away from the crowd and into a secluded, though not invisible, spot beside a nearby building.

"I need information, nothing more.” She said in the man’s voice, turning to face the younger pirate as she spoke, looming slightly. "The ninja who attacked earlier was after a ship, supposedly stolen from Yukigakure. I managed to drive her off, but my squad is dead and she is likely to return- unless, of course, said ship were to vanish.”

Seika paused, giving the man a moment to process what she’d just said before continuing on, her voice grave. "If you know of such a ship, I must speak with its captain immediately. I promise, you will be rewarded for your service.” But only if he had information. If not… well. She could easily find another victim to interrogate. Or torture, if the need arose.

The younger pirate nodded hurriedly, as the disguised Nakajima spoke of the need for information. It was clear that he desired to be done with the questioning and return to the company of his colleagues. But he was willing to cooperate with one whom he thought was part of the port authority. Even though this place was run by pirates, there had to be some semblance of order here, else things would not run as smoothly as they did.

The pirate looked a little confused at first, when Seika spoke of a ship stolen from Yukigakure, but as the gears of his mind began to work, some semblance of realization lit up on his face. "Oh... oh! Do you mean that strange iron ship that's been frequenting the port the last few months? Didn't know it was from Yukigakure, though I did hear rumors of the crew that they did steal the vessel from some nation with great sea power. I've never seen its likes before, that ship, nor have I ever seen the likes of the captain either. The crew of that ship are a bunch of lucky bastards. Anyways, sorry for rambling. You're in luck; the ship's in the docks as we speak. If I remember correctly, it was Dock 33 or 34. But I'm certain that once you get to the area, it will be almost impossible to miss. Most of us had never seen such a ship before it showed up."

When the man finally spoke, Seika couldn’t keep the grin completely off her transformed face; it was a slight thing at first but, like every true fire, it soon spread, shifting the expression she wore into a specter of manic glee that, had it been her face, would have been radiant in its glory. Unfortunately for the poor pirate, it was not her face but a dead man’s, and on his stony visage the look was likely quite terrifying, even as she spoke with as little emotion and feeling as possible, or perhaps more so because of it. "Yes, that is the one.”

Seika gave the man a curt nod, dismissing him with a wave of her hand but said, loud enough for several men around to hear, "Your contribution will not be forgotten, sailor.” If he survived long enough for her to find him again, she was certainly going to repay him for the information- perhaps by making him a footstool or a food taster. If he survived, of course. Once the man was gone, the Nakajima moved through the city towards the indicated docks quickly, her transformed visage easily parting the crowds. Being an officer of the peace, even in a lawless city like Minato, had its advantages it seemed. Thirty, thirty one, thirty two…. Ah!

As it turned out, the young man had it right the first time, for as she approached Dock 33 Seika saw the ship, its massive iron hull bobbing in the water as men leapt to and fro about its deck, clearing space. She didn’t know what they were up to, but it didn’t matter now- with the ship in sight, she no longer needed the disguise, and so dropped it, ending her transformation in a puff of smoke before forming a single hand seal to Shunshin onto the deck of the ship in a flurry of white flame.

"Hello boys.” Seika said once she was on the ship proper, her voice carrying as she gestured to the bustling crew who, if they were paying attention, would have noticed her by now. "You seem to be using my ship well enough but, unfortunately for you, I’d rather you use it under my direction. So bring the pathetic excuse of a man you call a Captain out here. I’d like to have a little… chat with him.”

Of course, she knew that might not work (nothing had gone exactly as planned since she got here), but she was fine with that- so long as the Captain was dead and the ship her’s by the end of the day, it didn’t really matter what they did. Well. Unless they scuttled the ship. Then she might get mad.

Ronin

To say the sailor was unnerved by the sudden manic grin that spread over a face which was normally expected to be relatively expressionless was an understatement. He shrank back from the grinning 'man', but seemed to have little to fear, as the disguised Nakajima simply waved him off, although promising him that his help would be rewarded. Of course, no one knew what this reward would be, but for the sailor, it was probably something to be hopeful for, unknowing as he was of the personality of whom he had just assisted.

The men on the stolen Yukigakure ship seemed to be preparing to set sail soon, and they did seem to be in a hurry, as though they were aware that the ship might be in danger. It would be quite difficult not to have noticed the bright burst of white flame, and some men even dropped the loads they were carrying, as the stared in shock and alarm at the sight. Seika had the eyes and ears of everyone on the ship, but not a single person said a word to her. They just stared at her in wary surprise. Then a huge, burly, hairy man, with multiple scars on his face, stepped forward. "Who's asking fer the captain?" he asked in a surprisingly quiet, breathy voice, as he glared menacingly at Seika. But then another voice sounded, which seemed to catch the attention of everyone on board.

"Be a darling, Arai, and let me handle this. Cordiality is necessary to strangers."[/color] Seika had assumed the captain of the stolen ship was a man. She was wrong. With the deference everyone gave the woman who walked out on deck, it was clear who the one calling the shots was. She was attractive; perhaps not as beautiful as Seika, but her voice and mannerisms were quite clearly those of someone who made her way through the world with guile and words the same way Seika made hers with fire. And yet, the way she moved suggested that she was much more than just an adept communicator?

"I am Guren, Captain of the Iron Moon. May I ask what our little chat entails? And what name may I refer to you by?"

NON-COMBAT ABILITY: Cynosure
Guren is a mistress of manipulation, and practically weaves spells over the minds of others with her words. Those who listen to her are often easily convinced by the things she says and does, and though people with strong wills [read: PC characters] may not easily fall under her sway, convincing those in Guren's thralldom is rather difficult. She is very good at convincing people of whatsoever she wishes to express, and even when caught lying, is slippery enough to easily make her misdemeanors seem rather forgivable.

Seika heard the woman’s voice, laced with the sultry edge of charisma that she herself used, and knew she was in for a treat. The Nakajima turned to face the woman, her amber-gold gaze drinking the sight of the captain (and she had to be the captain, the way the men deferred to her), her lips parting in a wide, almost feral smile. "Well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes. So much nicer to look at than these… peasants.” The woman was almost certainly a warrior, a fighter just as much as she was a charmer, but if either fact bothered the former Yuki-nin, she didn’t show it, instead unclasping her cloak and letting it fall to the deck in a heap. She wouldn’t need it for this.

"You may call me ‘Captain,’ if you like. Otherwise, I’d rather you didn’t speak at all. As for what I am here for... Well. I think we both know what I’m here for.” She said, tilting her head as she spoke, allowing just a hair of the boiling, seething hate that sat within the depths of her soul to drip out. "You’re on my ship, and I’d rather like it back. Preferably with your severed head on the bow, as a reminder to those who think they can claim deeds another accomplished as their own.”

"Though,” Seika said, her smile never faltering, "I could be persuaded to change that last part, if you knelt. I’m feeling magnanimous enough to let you keep an eye. Wouldn’t want to mar that pretty face of yours too much now.”

The Other White Flame [Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
Seika, either through a twist of fate or simply good genetics, has inherited the coveted power of the White Flame, the highest ranked color of Flame within the Nakajima clan, and it shows. Fire is not merely a part of her- she is fire, a living embodiment of all it means to be flame, and as such her ability with her clan’s Hijutsu is second to none; she can switch between her flame body and real one with near instantaneous ease (though this does not low the chakra cost), and can stay in it for quite awhile. While in her flame body, she is completely impervious to all forms of physical damage, though Chakra enhanced attacks (particularly Fuuton based) can still injure her. In this state, she is able to heal herself using any natural fire nearby, absorbing it into her flame body.

Yuki’s Fire-Flower [Enhanced Katon Ninjutsu SA - Power]
From nearly the moment she could walk, Seika has had an affinity with Katon that far surpasses the norm, even for a Nakajima. Her Katon Ninjutsu, and in particular her Nakajima Hijutsu, burn hotter than even the most powerful of her clan, granting her Katon-based Ninjutsu a significant boost in raw power over others of her rank, so much so that she is nearly on another level of power. Additionally, Seika can switch between the four different flames of her Clan’s Hijutsu almost at will, but rarely does so, preferring to use her White Flames almost exclusively. Katon Ninjutsu (including Nakajima Hijutsu) used by Seika are roughly 25% more powerful than normal, and cost 10% more to use.

The Burning Death [Enhanced Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
As one of only two people in all the world to possess the White Flame of the Nakajima, Seika’s flames are… unique, to say the least. Though others of her clan do not believe it, the truth of the matter is that Seika’s flames are not merely hot, they are beyond anything her clan has ever seen, capable of burning even setting other chakra-based creations aflame, up to and including other Katon Ninjutsu, eventually subsuming them into itself. This does not allow Seika to absorb any form of chakra, nor does it allow her to work around using only normal fire to heal her body when in her Flame Body form- rather, it allows her to burn Ninjutsu as if it were a physical thing, eating away at it until it becomes nothing but ash. This takes two rotations per rank of the Jutsu, and requires that said jutsu be continuously engulfed in her flames.

Because of her familiarity with life and death situations, Seika has made it a point to train herself in the art of moving quickly, and is quite a bit faster than many would expect of such a non-physical Shinobi, outspeeding others of her rank by a fair bit without even trying.

Seika’s Chakra reserves are vast for a woman of her rank, far beyond those of a normal Kunoichi, and as such she is able to use high-level techniques for far longer, and at a much quicker rate, than most anyone of her rank could.

A sleek red silk dress made for Seika before she deserted from Yukigakure, the dress itself is stunning, sporting long-sleeves that hang loosely from her shoulders. Made of Waruichi silk, the dress has been enhanced by the Nakajima clan’s tailors and even has seals put in place by Seika herself, making it a very useful tool for carrying goods even when she doesn’t wear her cloak.

The dress itself has a short hem that stops just above the middle of her thighs, with a long train of narrow cloth on the left side that leaves most of her legs exposed. The dress is tight around her bust and hangs off her shoulders, showing off much of her cleavage. The edges are decorated by golden filigree work, particularly around the bodice, it is hemmed by black lacework, and sports a hidden pouch inside the bodice.

Seika’s dress, having been made by the Nakajima, is fully Katon-reactive and allows her to funnel Katon Ninjutsu through it without burning it to ashes. Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal [Chakra Reactive]
After her desertion for Yukigakure, Seika altered her dress in order to better utilize it in combat, inking in permanent seals along the inside of the left and right sleeves. These seals can hold a surprising amount, and are easily accessible for most any situation.

A hooded cloak of black silk that reaches down to the feet, obscuring the user's form. The cloak itself seems fairly ordinary, but actually has two pockets sewn into the inside, both of which hold permanent versions of the Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal, allowing her to carry much more than normal.

Made of a special chakra reactive silk, Seika’s cloak offers a unique ability that few Shinobi see coming; by channeling her raw, unfiltered Chakra through the cloak, Seika is able to utilize the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique] through the cloth, as well as allowing her maintain it with greater ease during movement. This ensures that Seika will always be able to vanish should the need arise.

Limitless Pockets
Seika’s Cloak, much like her dress, has been altered during her time as a Missing-nin to include the Generic Storage Seal inside its pockets, allowing her to carry a great deal more in the way of ninja tools without having to ruin her look with bulky pouches or garish belts.

"Tut tut, that wouldn't do at all," the Captain said with a smile, as she shook her head. "I already bear that title. Perhaps you may want to choose another one, yes?" The other sailors on the ship seemed to be shuffling to take up positions, although it was quite evident that they could tell that Seika was quite dangerous, and they were, to varying degrees, frightened by her. Only Guren and Arai, the huge man who had addressed Seika when she had come aboard, seemed unflappable.

"In any case, I'm rather surprised that you lay claim to this ship," Guren said, allowing herself to match Seika's smile with one of her own. "If indeed it is yours, then why aren't you in possession of it? And as for having me kneel to you, I'm sorry, but I won't take you up on that offer. For starters, I like both of my eyes where they are, and am thoroughly enjoying the position that you seem to be so interested in. I'm in a good mood today, so I'll say this just once: go and get another boat. The Iron Moon belongs to Guren and her crew of jolly ne'er-do-wells, and I don't intend for things to change anytime soon. Ain't that right, boys?"

There was a hearty cheer from the men, as Guren fixed Seika with a smug smile.

The men were afraid.

Seika could almost smell it, with tremors of tension coursing through the crowd as she confronted their captain (and, she assumed, her first mate). Yes, this lot would fall in line when she dealt with the bitch and her attack dog- they’d fall like twigs, from fear of someone powerful enough to kill the two strongest pirates they knew, if nothing more.

"A shame.” The Nakajima said, her smile fading as she shook her head, amber-gold gaze meeting the woman’s for a brief moment, chakra lacing through her eyes to cast the other Genjutsu she knew, Shibari, upon the woman. It wasn’t a true binding, merely the illusion of being unable to feel, but it was usually enough to throw someone off, and that was all she’d need to immolate the whore where she stood. If it worked, of course. "I’ll just have to take what’s mine, then.”

Seika moved then, chakra bursting from her heels in an explosion of flame as she cocked her fist back and cremated it, relying on both her intense, preternatural speed, enhanced by the power of her Baku Sanpo, to close the distance between them and slam her cremated fist into the smug slut’s face, shifting the limb back to normal just after impact. If the blow hit, everything for five meters around the thieving captain would be engulfed in fire, though only Guren would be burned- and badly, given the intensity of her flames.

She knew it was likely the punch wouldn’t kill, but it didn’t matter; as far as she was concerned, the other was a walking corpse. Time simply hadn’t quite caught up to the reality of her death just yet. But it would. Very, very soon.

The captain's face seemed to register some surprise momentarily, as she stared into Seika's eyes. The genjutsu took effect, but there was a single pause before Guren began to move again, though she clearly was not fast enough to dodge Seika's punch. Still, she had raised a hand which partially took some of the brunt of the blow, though her face was hit as well, covering much of her arm, and half of her face in nasty-looking burns. But the fact that Guren had moved, shortly after being caught in the genjutsu was proof that the captain was herself a maestro at genjutsu.

Still, it was quite clear that if Guren faced Seika alone, the pirate most likely would not survive the encounter, as Seika's speed and raw power outmatched her own. But there was Arai. Even as Seika was attacking his beloved captain, he was already performing handseals. He didn't try to intercept the attack, instead making an attack of his own. "Raiton: Raiso Gekishin!" It would be difficult for Seika to dodge, while she was landing her attack on the captain. As for Guren, the blow knocked her a few meters away and onto her back. But she rolled onto her side and slammed a palm on the floor of the deck. "Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Toguko!"

Having done this, Guren rose to her feet, though it was clear that she was in pain, with Arai taking position in front of her. "You're a liar. This ship isn't yours. You've no proof that it belongs to you. And you know nothing of a pirate's way of life. The nerve of coming to my ship and trying to steal it and my crew. Even if you can buy a ship, you have to earn loyalty." She made a strange sign with her unburned hand, which seemed to be perhaps some signal to her crew. And sure enough, some of the onlooking pirates scurried off.

DESCRIPTION:
This technique is triggered by the user saying the words "Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Toguko". After the victim is caught within the trigger they will see summoning seals appear below them and several black, gooey tentacles emerge from the seals. What appears to be an endless pit will appear below the victim and they will feel the tentacles try to drag them into the pit to be sealed away forever. The victim often exerts a good amount of energy trying to escape the illusionary tentacles which unrelenting pull them further and further into the pit.
