Enyo was bored, he had wanted to spend the day finding targets to practice goading on, but it ended up that he was just sitting around in a mostly empty grassy training field with a scroll unwound over his lap. The scroll was a medical one, and it felt that he was studying it for what had to have been the tenth time at least, maybe even one hundredth. The Kuronmeru greatly valued medical studies and Enyo was absolutely no exception. Medicine made them very powerful, and it made his blood even more powerful as a result. But he was still not an ideal medic and with a new team having been temporarily assembled - he had no faith it would stay - he was needing to know how to heal his teammates if it came to it... Even though he didn't want to.

The mist clung to the air like dew to the blades of grass, the air was warm, muggy, humid. It made his pale skin reflect a little bit with that humidity, as blue eyes scanned an anatomy portion of the scroll. He had to learn about anatomy, he had to learn a lot about it. Once he knew the inside out of the anatomy he could move on to other bits. His father had made that very clear.

Soon he would be better at medical aspects than his older brother, Inei, and that made Enyo quite content. To be better at anything than his siblings was something that sparked inspiration in him. One day he would kill them too, beat them at their own game, they wouldn't be stronger than him for long...

He let out a soft sigh in his frustration though, mostly from how bored he was going over this very same scroll again. It was just the results that were driving him forward.
