Uemon would comment that it'd be smarter if they attacked at the same time whilst Ryoko had a few questions of her own. "Nothing really on names, but we do know they have some kind of a bomb that they seem to want to place at the base of the mining operation collape the whole place and cause an ensuing explosion once the materials all capsize into the dirt, as far as training goes the leaders and dere guys are about as strong as your average chunin to maybe special Jounin at minimum, might even have a few genin in dere."

The girl would rub her chin as she looked over the files that she had. "If I had ta hazard some kind of a guess I'd argue dat...they're not awl dat organized and its why dey wouldn't think to do so and even if they did how would we know? We know one is happening and we wouldn't know about the other 3 unless someone was stationed dere to begin wit." she'd hunch over in her seat for a second before sliding back and placing her hands behind her head.

"Somethin tells me dat might be deliberate maybe dey knew this would happen." she'd pause for a second to allow them to get in any other comments and also to give herself another moment to think. "But dere are lives at stake and where we're not entirely wat were up against...each one of em have a distinct specialty. And I'd imagine they'll awlso have back up o some kind." with that she'd sift through the info she had in front of her and bring up a map that outlined the entirety of the city, Taki had already encircled and mapped out a few locations and how this could be handled with the layout of the best possibly choke and vantage points for entry would be to have the best view of who would be out there.

Taki would point her fingers towards Uemon, they down onto what looks to be the rooftop of a building not to far from their location. "We're gonna need you to use dhose sensory abilities o yours to scope out our targets, largest chakra signature might be dat o da leada." she'd then turn to Ryoko, whilst using two fingers to point to a spot that was a good few feet from Uemon's position enough where could see them but not far away enough to actually communicate if one would guess based on the distance.

"And Yoko, while we wait for information on da whole sitchiation from Uemon you and me will get into position, Huey dere is packin da most heat so he'll be fine making his way by himself right Huey?" she figured this was the case but was open to suggestions and potential corrections to her plan. "Unless you guys got a betta idea?" with that she'd also introduce small radio communication devices one of for each of them to carry so they could stay in contact from a distance her plan was simple but she knows they may have had questions she didn't exactly get to answer.

Ryoko smirks some while she listens, eyeing the files as the details are given. It all seemed reasonable enough to her, though this part of missions was never her strong suit. She does her best to keep her attention from flagging as the conversation goes on. She had been made for action, not for planning.

While she listens she begins to grow bored. Entertaining herself with levitation only went so far, so as Taki is explaining she reaches out with her strings and collects a couple random objects from around the room. A book, a plant, even a lamp begin to move about, lifting off tables to float closer to the chuunin.

She examines them, doing little to hide her increasing boredom.

"You know I’m one of the best scouts in the Iwa.” She mutters with a little nod, juggling the three disparate objects with little gestures of her fingers. Idlying using her family’s jutsu, and idly wasting chakra. "I know I'm really good at breaking things.. and people.. but like, that's only ONE of my many many talents."

"I can’t sense chakra, but that never stopped me. Give me a location and I can flood their caves with rats to spy on them, and fill their skies with birds to watch everything. Heck, kidnap one of em and use Henge to take their place. There are a lot of options that don’t require chakra sensing.”

She pursed her lips some with irritation. Not at the mission, more that she couldn’t sense chakra. She wanted to be able too, but the whole thing was alien to her. She understood animal things, on a very primal level. She was a beast, a creature of instinct more than she was one for the patient execution of carefully laid plans.

Plans never lasted past the moment of attack anyway.

"I think this is all fine, but like.. I mean, plans are good in theory, but only in theory. When we find these people, it's just gonna be violence, like it always is. And we'll win, and they'll get buried and we'll move on to the next group of idiots who earn our ire."

Nodding, the wanderer continued to scribble in his journal. "Bomb... mining operation... leaders comparable to tokubetsu jōnin at best..." All of this was valuable intel. Per usual, he hated leaving anything to chance if at all possible.

Pausing for just a moment he placed the tip of the pencil's eraser to his lip. Taki's assumption about their incompetence could be correct... but still. Something was just not sitting right with him. Perhaps it was just his own affinity for caution, or maybe it was the fact that his plans like most had a tendency to go awry in the heat of battle.

Combat was chaotic no matter how good of a strategist you were, there were always variables that could not be accounted for. "I was thinking the same thing..." Uemon said at Taki's comment that they might expect this.

A ruse or a counter-ambush were powerful tactics, but there were ways to deal with such things. The fact that they had trained shinobi on their side was already a tremendous benefit. Hopefully with a bit of preparation and a clearer picture of the situation, they would be able to snuff out any attempts at misdirection on the Red Band's part.

Hope was a fickle thing though, and so some surveillance was definitely in order. "That makes sense. I can use my puppets to get an actual visual on them, too." Cameras, microphones, and all. Maybe they would end up with some useful chatter that could clue them in as to the specifics of this group's plan. At the very least a better sense of their troop numbers and positioning. "Sure." Uemon said with a nod at Taki's suggestion that he go it alone. "I work better by myself." Numbers were better in a straight-up fight but the opposite was true for spying.

Alone he could be quieter and quicker than he would be able to manage in a group. By this point several floating objects were dancing about the room due to Ryoko's abilities. "Useful talents to have." Was all he said to her comment about breaking people, watching as the items levitated. The girl was an interesting character to be sure... he was even more interested to see how her techniques might come into play. "We should keep all of our options open." He added as she continued on. To him, it seemed like Ryoko's words carried a hint of... something. Not envy, but maybe defensiveness? Kota got like that sometimes when he did not want to admit he needed help with something. Maybe it was not fully the case here but he certainly picked up on it. "If you'd like, I could try teaching you how to sense chakra once this is done." He offered. It was handy skill to have, but she was right in that it was not the end-all and be-all. Uemon knew firsthand the efficacy of a well-timed Henge or the more subtle aspects of espionage, and from what it sounded like Ryoko was something of an expert. Surveil, plan, strike.

It was as good a course of action as any. At Ryoko's insistence that it would most likely boil down to violence he could only nod quietly. For better or worse, that was the likely outcome. Death was a part of their way of life. He held no ill will towards these people, had no true stake in this struggle, but the Red Band would fall all the same.

By their hands or the hands of someone else. After all was said and done he would close his journal and stand from his seat, wandering over to the window to get a better view of the city. Having a room nearby was convenient...

Though the operation was slated for tomorrow, he wanted to get eyes on the layout of the place now. "You had something else you wanted to discuss, right Taki?" Uemon asked, reaching for a small scroll holstered at his waist and unfurling it on a nearby nightstand. Fingers moved to touch two kanji, one for '兎' and another for '蛙'.

All it took was a bit of chakra before two small puffs of smoke appeared via the Kugutsu Kuchiyose no Jutsu... and once they dissipated, a rotund green frog with a screen on its belly and a small white rabbit sat in their place. For the moment, he would busy himself with checking them over and making sure the radio Taki gave to him was tuned to the right frequency of the others. Uemon would wait for the briefing to end to start his reconnaissance, but he definitely wanted to set up on the spot tonight well before the op began. The more time they had to prep, the better.

Lighting is a crucial part of any play. Identifying the actors and drawing focus to them in the dark. As of now, he is capable of passively sensing chakra up to one hundred meters from his body, or one kilometer if actively searching. The duo seemed to have their marching orders based on what she had given them in regards to who they'd be up against, but Uemon would ask if there was more to discuss, Taki would look over towards him. "Nothing I haven't already tawlked to you about, but Aihara let's get you up to speed." the girl would say as she opened up a second folder revealing an image of a man who had a strong resemblence to Taki, looking at that image still hurt she knew he was alive but for how much longer she couldn't afford to keep putting this off and needed to act as quickly as she could've. Before she spoke however she'd look over at Uemon and nod to him. "Your dismissed just be back here by da mornin I know your probably itchin ta get somethin done."

"Dis ere is my uncle...the guy we're going after...he's holed up in a prison out in da land of fiya...and here's awl da info I got on em." the girl would say as she sprawled out a few photographs. "As far as I undastand he's located at dis location out in da land o fiya but I still haven't confoimed awl o dat info just yet, might need to make a trip out dere just in case, still don't know what kinda security dey got as of yet." she'd leave the info out for Ryoko to examine at her leisure, the contents were her uncle a man who's hair looked rather disheveled his face worn like he'd seen better days, a map that had a specific section of the land of fire marked off with the words. "Somewhere..." written atop it.

She'd then look over towards Ryoko and gesture the number 4 with her hands. "As far as I understand we got three big wigs ta worry abhat..." she'd give Ryoko time to analyze the information. "Foist is Senju Kazuto, a big time memba o da Senju clan known for his prowess with somethin cawled wood release, he's got one hell of a reputation Elite Jounin known to da woild as Kazuto of the Wood Release. Afta him is Hyuuga Shigure...he's got somethin cawled da Byakugan, some crazy dojutsu dat lets him somehow attack ya bhadi, I fought em at the chunin exams shoulda killed da bastard...but I betcha by now he's one tough customa...you gettin awl dis I got one more." yet another pause to let Ryoko take in the information.

"Kazui Uchiha, an Uchiha who's known as a goddamn prodigy I met her once a few years ago...wish I was strong enough to take her out den, she'll pay da next time I see her. And last but not least, Keisuke Uzumaki da Hokage himself, ain't too much to say other than the guy got dat title for a reason...but ain't no one heard a peep outta da guy for a while, maybe he got scared after I killed his bodyguard." She'd slouch back in her seat, letting out a sneer proud of her accomplishment.

"Info I got awn em is kinda limited...but outta erreybhadi dere the most likely candidates ta get in our way, if'n I learn anything else I'll pass it awn." the girl looked over everything contemplatively. Ryoko offers a passive nod to Uemon, and a "That’d be cool” in reply to his offer. The juggling continues, the chuunin always in the process of burning off her chakra. She couldn’t help herself, her techniques were just to fun to use.

She offers a little nod and floats somewhat closer to Taki, her eyes sweeping down to focus on the mission dossier as it is laid before her. She gives small nods as she listens, a brow arching as she hears names famous enough for her to know. Senju. Uzumaki. Hyuuga.

Uchiha…

Ryoko narrows her eyes at that one, a hand reaching out to point a finger at Kazui’s picture. "I know that one. She was the only one to best me in the chuunin exams. She caught me in a genjutsu, tricked me into thinking the fight was already over. I owe her some pain for that one.”

It was true, for all the epic clashes of the chuunin exams, her match verse Kazui had been one of the shortest. It had also left its mark on the young Aihara, hardening her distaste for genjutsu, and leaving her with something of a rival kunoichi to despise.

"Only reason it worked is cause I couldn’t just cut her down right from the start. I had to get my less lethal weapons out. Meh, stupid genjutsu.”

She continues to listen on, a displeased, angry even, expression souring her lips. The hate boiling behind her eyes remains unseen, the Uchiha having the nerve to break her winning streak. While she listens her eyes continue to flit over to Kazui’s picture, her anger only growing.

Once Taki has completed the mission details, Ryoko nods. "This seems easy enough. And now I’m even more eager for the violent part. It ain’t gonna be easy though. Genjutsu.. Trees.. The white eyes that see everything.. And.. I dunno what the redheads do, but I’m sure they’re annoying too.

We don’t need a plan, so much as we need contingencies. Pre-planned reactions to things our opponents might do. Answers for breaking each other out of the genjutsu. Ways to remove trees. Ways to.. Hmm. Figure out who is best to fight who.  The downside of being famous, is people know how you work.

Much as I want to be, I doubt I’m a good match against the Uchiha. Though with fire and blades I’m not to worried about trees. Puppets should be safe against the Hyuuga? That leaves the redhead. The Hokage. I can only assume to fall back if they show up.

We’ll need to pick a place to regroup if that happens. Secure a safehouse we can hide in if they start hunting us. I can help with that. Even sensors can’t pick out my scout birds. And I have a way to completely suppress my own chakra as well, letting me hide from sensors. I can’t cloak anyone else though.”

"Keeping tawlkin like dat and my goilfriend is gonna get jealous." she'd say with a laugh she had always had a soft spot for Ryoko and this was only making things worse.

"Oh dontchu worry about dat I got something for her." she'd say thinking of a series of techniques that she was working on in order to disrupt people with special eyes like her. "And the Hyuuga he's mine...period, I need ta get revenge on dat basta'd...but if I'm bein smart you might be his best match keeping him at bay from a distance."

As things trailed further Ryoko was bringing up excellent points about things she hadn't even considered. "You got a point...safehouses eh...? I know some people dat might be able ta help wit dat." the girl would say as her fingers tugged on a sheet of paper and she pulled out a small card that read SHAKAR "you eva hoid o dhese guys?" she turns her head and glanced towards her friend.

"Dey sound kinda shady ta me and I was thinkin about maybe checking em out...but it smelt kinda fishy, but I know like ta get inta trouble so maybe you look into to em for us?" the girl would say as she slid over the slip of paper with the organizations name. "I got it from, Yoshiko little miss Princess herself, hmph. Hey wadn't she ya teacha, never woulda pegged her ta be the type to woik wit a group like dem." she'd say as she contemplated it.

"And I'm willing ta do a lot...but I ain't tryna ruin my families reputation ta do it." a strange thing to think about considering her line of work but to her it was a valid concern and even though the Kage was giving her, her blessing in order to take advantage of it there was still some hesitation to get involved but perhaps seeing as she was so close now was the best time to strike but how much was she willing to sacrifice was the question.
